Highly recommend! Very friendly and professional and also a fun atmosphere for long sessions. Jake’s done a lot of small detail work pieces for me (6 now) and they’re all beautiful. Also had a small tattoo from Chris that’s great as well.

My husband and I visited Memphis this week and got tattoos from John and Jeremy. They were so nice and easy to work with, they did exactly what we asked for, the prices are good and we couldn’t be happier. If we ever come back to Memphis we will definitely be going there again. Jeremy did the TCB tattoo and John did the witch’s broom.

Jeremy did my cover up on an old tattoo and it turned out awesome! I told him what I was trying to get and he worked within my budget and created a beautiful design for me. I went on a busy day and Jeremy fitted me into his schedule because I wanted to wait for him. I will definitely be back! Thanks J!!!❤️❤️❤️

I went in and showed the artist a rough sketch of what I wanted, which he said he could do. He then made a stencil that I was hesitant about because it wasn’t what I wanted but he assured me that he understood. Finished up and it isn’t what I asked for at all. Very upsetting, left the shop sobbing. Don’t recommend getting a tattoo from Doc. Crash on the other hand did a great job on my sister and cousin.

I recently got tattooed at Inked Tattoos in Memphis and couldnt be happier with the experience. Crash is an incredible artist; his precision and creativity are unmatched. He brought my vision to life with such detail and artistry that its truly a masterpiece. Taylor was also fantastic, patiently answering all my questions about the process, from the design to aftercare. Their professionalism and talent made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. The people here are amazing. I came into the tattoo shop late at night when visiting Memphis with some friends. It was a long wait so we got on the list for the following day. We were unable to make this appointment, but everybody I spoke with, including the artists and the managers, were amazing. They were helpful, understanding, and one of the female managers whose name started with a B (I forget her exact name) went above and beyond to help us out. I cant wait to get an amazing piece from these guys next time Im in Memphis.

I used to love coming here. Now I fear I won’t be back unless my boyfriend is with me and even then, I don’t trust them. Look up “Mississippi tattoo artist charged with contact with 15 year old teens” … I can’t believe this. Why employ someone like that??

Decent black line work and stipiling for a walk in but just hammered the red outline too deep. Ive got around 30hrs of other tattoos that are solid so I understand aftercare. Probably a bad sign when they dismiss a text on their phone mid tattoo with their wiping finger gloved up.

Went to see John at the Cooper Young shop. I had a special piece I wanted. John did an amazing job on the new ink and he cleaned up some old work and tied it in. Definitely exceeded my expectations!The shop itself was clean and well run. I will be back!

Such a friendly, fun bunch to be around. Walked in, they were busy but took care of me right away. Took my info and design idea, and I came back a few hours later to have it done. Jeremy pulled off exactly what I asked for.Had him touch up an old faded tat while I was there as well. Prices were very reasonable.

I’d do 5 stars if DOC did all of my work. He did mine and my moms matching tattoos the day after I got the messed up one. Which couldn’t be redone once I noticed. If you go here choose DOC. The name of the guy is MATT and if you have him MAKE SURE you know your colors because he doesn’t. It being my first tat how was I supposed to know how they mix the colors?? He assured me my tattoo would be purple and it is DEFINITELY light pink. Which is a completely different awareness and meaning of my tattoo. THREE artists at different tattoo shops told me the color used on me was MAGENTA PINK and not even in the purple choices at all if someone asks for PURPLE. Colored blind? I had to have my tattoo recolored by a different artist and it wasn’t free. Plus the $270 for the messed up tattoo! HORRIBLE first tattoo experience but I definitely recommend DOC who did my second one perfectly. Thank you DOC

Matt did my first piercing ever - I got my lobes done at a 14g so I could start stretching them. He was really good and spaced them perfectly. Then I went to another place with my sisters to try and get a septum piercing but they told me I wouldnt be able to get one because of the way my nose is shaped. I went back to Inked to get a second opinion and Doc told me there was no reason why not, so he did it for me and its perfect!! Centered and really comfy. I just went back this week to get an industrial piercing and Doc walked me through how we were going to do it based on easiest healing and my ear shape. He also has been giving me advice on my lobe stretching process. Im definitely going here for all my piercings I have planned!!The atmosphere is really good and everybody is super chill and friendly and non judgemental.

I came in on a Monday around 6 ish. The shop was not busy at all and I was immediately greeted by Doc. He let me know what all I needed to do and within 15 minutes, he had me in a chair. I did have to wait on another client he had but he was speedy and was back in no time. As he was tattooing he talked to us the whole time, helping calm my nerves. He didnt take long at all either. Doc also answered any of the questions I had and also gave me advice on different things. Everyone in the shop was super chill and nice. I really recommend Doc!

My sister and I decided to get a tattoo and ended up going to INKED here in Memphis. The tattoo artist Crash was amazing. The tattoo time was quick. He delivered exactly what we wanted and he is so down to earth. You could tell that it was his passion because it wasnt like a in and out. Crash talked, laughed, and explained the process. IF you are looking for a great tattoo artist then INKED is a great place to go.

I walked in the shop and it was so clean and such a comfy and cool, and got my snake bites done by jacie. Can I just say how amazing and patient she was with me, I was very nervous but she talked me through every step even when my lip swelled up on her. Doc Pariah is the best. He has done all of my tattoos and body peircings. He uses the best tattoo machines and has a very gentle touch. If you are looking for awesome lines going to him.

I loved how my tattoo came out when I first got it. It’s been 16 months, and my ink is already faded so that my skin is showing. Plus, it was done not how I liked. I can barely see the Mandolorian symbol that I wanted to have smoky look coming out of a red rose. The rose looks like red-pink. I’m very disappointed with my tattoo, and I consider it my disappointment tattoo. I definitely would not get any tattoo done at this place ever again.

Love love love the vibes of this place. The people were all super friendly & inviting! I went to get a nose piercing and was in and out in about 30 mins. Pricing is also much more reasonable in comparison to their competition across the street. Overall happy customer :)

My friend & I decided to go get piercings, she her navel & I my 2nd nostril. Against our better judgment, nobody in Memphis charge $50 a piercing, but they do! So I was ok with that, I swiped my card & fill out the paperwork. The guy does my friends piercings 1st. Then mine... He was very rough, & the piercings was very long which he turned towards the be so it couldnt be seen. Days later every time I touch my the Nason bone it was extremely sore. Come to find out that bar was piercings the bone , so when I removed it, there was actual meat on the bar. Then my friend piercing was not done properly, he grab way too much meat with a very short bar so when it swells, it sink into her skin. So we both wasted money on that! The piercer was a little white guy with shabby hair. Another reason we should have turned around at the door. He didnt match the aura which was clean, so that gets a star! 🤷🏽‍♀️

Ive had all my work done here by chris boop. Fantastic color artist and can easily bring your ideas from paper to skin.

Went around 10ish pm with two of my other friends to get some random small tats, everyone was so so so nice and welcoming unlike some places we tried to go to before hand. Doc was our artist and he was absolutely amazing!!! He made sure everything was perfect for us and overall just a super cool guy. We love our tattoo’s and had such a great experience with an amazing price. Highly recommend this place and Doc!

100% RECOMMEND. I came out of town to get my dimples pierced and Doc did an amazing job. Everyone in the shop seemed super friendly and I hope to come back if i decide to get anything else done.

First time coming here & while the tatt artist was cool and pleasant, the tattoo was messed up. After getting home and cleaning up, you can see how shaky it turned it. On the as and the s. We now have to find a artist that can fix this. Sooo disappointed! 😞

This place is awesome! I went to the Madison location and they were busy, so Booga was very sweet in recommending their other location located on Highland, and she even wrote her info down in case I need to message her on an opening, if the other location was too busy. The Highland location was not busy at that time, so they were able to take walk-ins right there. Mary did my tattoo and she was real cool and nice. The whole place was nice and no cold-shoulder/ too good for you-type vibe. A really awesome vibe with really friendly people. Mary was great at getting the exact result that I had envisioned and I couldn’t be happier. She’s really great at what she does, and I can tell you’re in good hands if your her client - I’m sure I could say the same for everyone there, honestly. Overall 12/10 would recommend =)

Please be aware when your getting a nose piercing from them. I trusted a friend that said they were the best in town but unfortunately for me it wasn’t. My nose ring fell out. I went and got my nose done about 3 weeks ago and everything was fine the first night and after that I kept having to push the nose ring up because the ring was to small for my nose. I did contact them and they said we can redo it. Like wow you didn’t know the ring was to small when you first pierced it. I’m upset and done with them. Should’ve followed my first mind and went to my original place trilogy they never fell me.

Really deserves ZERO stars . But I’m being generous with one because they were friendly with my first tattoo. For my 2nd. very unprofessional. I had a 7 o’clock appointment and was told they took someone in front of me. I had to run a errand that was time sensitive so I asked to come back at 9 after they said yes. I pulled up at 9 o’clock on the dot to a store front with pitch black lights. Despite having been texting earlier to book the appointment he did not text with any notice that they closed earlier. The listed closing says 11 pm. Then, after addressing the issue was told “not my problem.”

My boyfriend and i had scheduled appts. A couple weeks before we were going to be flying in from California. We were going to be in Memphis for just a few days so having our appts on time was important to us. They did not disappoint. This was my first tattoo so i was feeling a little nervous but Jon did an excellent job in keeping the mood light and reassured me that i was doing fine. Jon and Jeremy both had some really funny stories and before we knew it they had finished our tattoos. I would highly recommed Inked on Highland to anyone wanting a great tattoo. The price was excellent also. If we are ever in Memphis again we would definetly stop in again. Great job guys. We are both so happy with our tattoos. And the gal at the front desk was great too. Ive gotten all my tattoos and piercings here for almost a year by the same guy (I think hes the owner), but one time I went and it was someone different; I got my daith pierced and it hurt so bad and I had to eventually get it out. They were super unprofessional and messed up my ear entirely. The owner is so nice and does a great job but should definitely check out his other employees. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back. I’d give zero stars if I could.

The guys here are very friendly and answered my questions. Much friendlier than other places I have been. I was able to get my tattoo done with out an appointment. The whole process was quick, maybe a little over an hour from the time I walked in till I was finished. I will definitely go back for my next tattoo!

Jeremy was the absolute best person for the job. After having a bad experience an hour before, I called the store and they instantly told me to come in. No questions and was ready. Stilo did a beautiful job on my tattoo. He was very nice and light handed with the needle and he made my first ever tattoo session great. I am absolutely terrified of needles but it was still a great first time getting a tattoo. It is also a very clean shop with a calm environment, especially for those who are scared of the needle! My tattoo was a walk in and I they were able to do it right there. 10/10 would recommend this shop on Highland!!

Literally had the worst experience here . I walked in and it was very nice and clean and I felt I made the right decision choosing this place . The first guy that pierced my nose was great other than he pierced it helllaa crooked like noticeably … really crooked . I went to my car and was just admiring it and I noticed it immediately that it was crooked . I didn’t really know what to do so I went back in . I seen the sign that said no refunds so I was like hmm I wonder what’s gonna happen . So I tell them and eventually this lady gets an attitude . I couldn’t wait for the other piercer because he was doing a tattoo and plus I didn’t want him to do it again anyways. So someone else does it and I’m okay with that . I didn’t know if you could even get it pierced again but they’re supposed to be professionals so I trusted them . I should have trusted myself and said no give me my money back but I really wanted my piercing so I let him Pierce it again . Big no , my nose was swelling and bleeding from the jewelry being removed and we still tried . We couldn’t get the jewelry through so I just told him no stop . This lady idk if she was the manager or not but she was very passive aggressive with me the whole time … it’s like she literally did not want to refund me for the terrible service and terrible experience I went though . Just very unprofessional . I’m very upset and I wanted to smack both the ladies. I’m a very professional woman and even when people upset me i keep my emotions contained and to be treated like that was just veryyyyy unnecessary. The lady was a tall white women with glasses . Just terrible customer service . This place gets a zero for if I could give it one .

I had an absolutely amazing experience here. I was super lucky to have Mary as a tattoo artist. She was super sweet and was completely understanding when I asked her for breaks. She does amazing line work and is amazing with intricate designs. I could not be happier with my tattoo!

I got a tattoo and a Medusa piercing, and my husband got 5 cover-up tattoo over the course of about a month with Doc. Quality was on point, price was extremely fair, and the shop was clean and well run. I observed the other artists there, and they all seem to be patient and really good at what they do.

If you’re in the market for a quality piercing you can’t go wrong with Inked. Pixi was my piercer, and I couldn’t be more pleased. She was super professional and paid a lot of attention to detail and cleanliness. She was a huge help with advice and insight on my piercing and the healing process. Inked is quality people in a clean, slick studio. It’s one of Memphis’ more outstanding places for body art.

Went in to get my tattoo done by Emmanuel and i could not be more satisfied with the finished product. Very clean lines and he made sure it was in the perfect spot. The entire staff was very sweet and funny and made me and my friends feel very welcome ! Would 100% come back for my next one !

Went back because I had to get a piercing change for my surgery and Jeremy took care of me again! Hes the best!

Clean and professional! My piercer, Markeith, was super friendly and did an excellent job repiercing my septum. My first experience at another shop was not the greatest, so it was a relief to have it done quickly and cleanly here. It’s healing up much faster and less painfully this time. :)

Accompanied a friend to get a cover up. We lucked out and Markeith was available. He drew up what she wanted and got to work. He was polite and fun to chat with. The tattoo is just perfect. Shop was clean. All the staff were friendly. My friend left happy and I’ll go back for my own ink therapy!

Do not get pierced at inked. We had to go to trilogy the day after to get it fixed. My girlfriend’s piercings needed to be changed out because it was poorly done, luckily her piercing angles were okay but her experience getting two piercings was very rough. Additionally, I had to get my — very basic — lobe piercing removed at trilogy because the angle was wrong. I now need to wait a month for my ear to heal so it can be pierced properly.

Went for a nose ring, ended up getting another piercing as well… the staff was GREAT AND VERY FRIENDLY! I felt at home! I will be back again for a tattoo. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I was impressed from the moment I got to the door. The shop was clean and well lit. The staff were friendly and welcoming. My piercer, Markeith, took the time to explain the process to me. He not only welcomed but encouraged questions. He made me feel safe, comfortable and relaxed - even had me laughing before and after the piercings. I saw each item opened in front of me with gloved steady hands. Yes, it hurt a bit, (Its a needle through flesh, afterall!) but far less than I expected from nipple piercings. I would absolutely recommend Inked Memphis on S. Highland and Markeith to any looking for a new body mod!

I wish I could give this place zero stars. I went and got a belly piercing with a friend around midnight the weekend before Halloween. The piercer almost failed to clean the area, but I stopped him right before sticking me and made him do it. I noticed after the needle sticking that the person piercing me seemed drunk or high and out of his mind. Not even a week after the piercing, the skin around it started to expand. I went to another shop and asked about it and they made me remove it immediately, so now I have a scar from a piercing I barely had. I tried contacting management of this location and I was not taken seriously nor was the situation. I will never be going back again. I am tempted to contact the Tennessee Department of Health division that is over tattoo shop policies and such to file a complaint.

Amazing service and atmosphere. John was the artist that tattooed me and my girlfriend and he was wonderful!! Very reassuring in the process and just overall a fantastic experience. Will be returning most definitely and i highly reccommend inked memphis specifically the highland location.

I got a walk-in tattoo done here. It was a very simple 3 inch X 3 inch rose tattoo with some pink coloring. They charged me $250 dollars which is by far the most I’ve paid for a tattoo (3 other ones of this size have cost me between 60-100 dollars). After the tip this was a 300 dollar tattoo. The quality of the tattoo was fine, not awesome, but definitely not something I would complain about. The artist was friendly enough (though he took three cigarette breaks during the job which added at least 25 minutes onto the hour and a half long process, and I also didn’t care much for the conversation he tried to have about his 13 year old daughter going through her “changes”). A month goes by, I reach out to the artist on Instagram and set up an appointment for a touch up. He says it would have to be early on the Friday of that week, I agree to meet him at 1 pm. I show up to the location on Madison Avenue where I got the tattoo done, wait outside a locked studio for 20 minutes (even though the door clearly states they open at 1 regardless of what appointment I had set up), I started calling both locations phones, texting the artist, calling the artist, no answers or reply’s. As I went to leave I got a call back from the artist, who told me he forgot about our appointment and also he was working at the other location on highland today. I ask if he can still fit me in (He told me when we arranged the appointment it HAD to be early in the day if we were going to be able to do it) and he said yes... When I showed up at the highland location it took the manager and I’s combined efforts for about five minutes to locate the artist who had been visiting the other stores around the tattoo shop... The artist had me begin filling out paperwork I had already filled out the month before when I got the original work done. While I’m filling out the paperwork, I hear the manager tell the artist “We can’t do touch ups for free anymore” which is what I was there to do, considering they gave me a document when I got the original work done stating that the first touch up will be free... The artist came over and said he had to call the owner about the new policy... The artist then came back and asked if I could come back the following week to have the touch up done, explaining that because of a new policy that was starting this very day, they could no longer do touch ups for free on the weekend (this was a Friday at 2 pm). There were no other customers in the store and it was obvious they did not have appointments lined up. I told the artist that I’d already spent a lot of my day trying to get this touch up done, as well as that I had been waiting for 30 minutes outside of a locked studio trying to get ahold of him. He then agreed to do the work. The actual part of the tattoo I wanted touched up, took less than ten minutes to complete, which made everything about the unprofessionalism of it all THAT much more aggravating... Throughout that ten minutes, the artist somehow found it possible to tell the manager of the store that “she looked so pretty today” and asked her “can I hit it.” He also found a way to bring up his teenage daughter and how he has to buy her new clothes because of the changes her body has gone through recently from puberty and how good looking she is (nobody wants to hear about your 13 year old daughter going through puberty dude). I was interested in getting a helix piercing today as well as getting another tattoo from a different shop touched up but after this experience I could not run out of the shop quickly enough. I definitely won’t be returning and I hope you take this as a fair warning for the overpriced unprofessionalism you’re paying for

We tried 4 times to get out tattoos and we were stood up by Cody multiple times, without a call or text or anything even though he had our number. We waisted so much gas money trying to get this done and kept showing up and no one was there. Then they took out deposit and won’t refund it, it’s been two weeks since we asked for the refund. It’s just very unprofessional and there was a total lack of communication with the shop even though we tried.

My artist was Mary. She is so nice and her work is absolutely amazing! I had a great first tattoo experience thanks to them! Definitely found my go to tattoo spot!

I went in for a new piece last week and the “artist” Dorje, some guy who couldn’t quit talking about how great he is, did my tattoo. After about a half hour, I was regretting letting this guy do my piece. It was really important to me. Then he had the nerve to give me his number and website address and tell me if I needed anymore work done that he does tattoos at his house. I thought that was illegal here Anyway a shop that hires a guy like him, can’t be very good. Some of the others there seemed cool and I liked their work. But his personality and unprofessionalism take away from any talent he might have and won’t help the business.

Recently got a cartilage and it was extremely painful after. I had to take it out after 3 days because my whole ear was purple and I know this was not normal for me. I have had my other cartilage pierced several times and even a double helix piercing (at trilogy) and never had issues or the pain I experienced here.That being said... a few months back I also had a rook pierced there. The piercer decided to use a very large gauge for that ear and I shortly went to trilogy and had to get it removed because of the damage and the massive hole in my ear.They lack jewelry and pierce with wrong gauge sizes.Save your money and go somewhere elseIf I could rate zero I would.

Went to get both my daiths pierced so I could get migraine and sinus pressure relief. I was super nervous but Priscilla was very kind and told me step by step what she was doing or about to do. Piercings went well and she did a great job! She is also there for ya when you have questions later on about the aftercare process. Markeith was fabulous to work with! He listened to what I wanted and drew multiple designs for me to choose from. His coverup work is impeccable! The staff was very friendly and the shop is one of the cleanest Ive seen. Definitely recommend Inked on Highland!!

Got a tattoo here over the weekend as a walk in! Staff very professional and patient with my group! We worked with Jeremy and John, they are awesome!

Staff was really nice and my piercer was very reassuring and professional. i got a labret and it hurt and bled substantially less than the medusa i got somewhere else. thanks! will be returning in the future

Went there to get my Tragus done... I was very nervous because I had done it before and I thought for sure it was going to hurt like hell with the scar tissue. But with the confidence boost that Priscilla (girl who did my piercing) gave me I was able to follow through and it honestly didn’t even hurt like I thought it would. Just like getting your ears done regularly! THANKS SO MUCH PRISCILLA! Ask for Priscilla when you go she is FANTASTIC! 😍😍 She works to make you comfortable not the other way around.

POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE!!! CLIENTS BEWARE!!!Initial application of tattoo was spotty and uneven.We scheduled an appointment for a touch-up at a specific time and date; however, when we arrived 10 mins early for the appointment, we were never greeted, and the responsible artist accepted and sat a walk-in group for tattoos without even speaking to us, or acknowledging we already had an appointment for that time-slot.

Walked in and got amazing tattoos by Mark and Jeremy. I will definitely be back!!

I’m begging you to NOT get pierced here. i got pierced here about 2-3 weeks ago & the dude pierced my nose & proceeded to drop the nose ring on me. then he repierced my nose with a blunt tool that, in retrospect, was way to big for my nose because today my nose ring just fell through to the inside of my nose. so to recap, a 20 minute piercing experience that should’ve only taken about 2 minutes created a hole that’s way too big. disappointed to say the VERY least. the picture posted is the first time that it nearly fell thru my nose.

I was a walk in and I went to Jeremy yesterday for my birthday and he was professional and made sure i was good before and after the tattoo. Will definitely be back.

WOW what a very nice and CLEAN shop. I had my ear pierced at another shop 😖 and the spacing was off. I came to this shop to get advice about removing the piercing. Priscilla not only removed the off piercing, she repierced my ear in another spot that looked alot better then where the removed earring was. Thank you soooo much Priscilla. YOU ROCK GIRL.. and again this shop is the most cleanest and organized shop i have ever went to...THIS IS THE SHOP TO GO TO!!!

Great Great experience Emmanuel was great, I love my tattoo. It was a cover up. You cant tell they was a tattoo underneath. Everyone was very Professional. My new spot.

Walked in late at night with my wife and father in law all 3 of us got tats from Jeremy dude was cool as hell all of our tats were perfect couldn’t ask for a better experience! Definitely recommend y’all come see Jeremy and get some ink!

Matt was nice and was funny but my tat after healed wasant filled all the way in and I got it last winter with covid and no return phone call or text from him.. Ill have to get it touched up by someone else.. I did tell him about it and send pics.. but place was clean and staff very nice..

A friend of mine does tattoos in his spare time and he always has a hard time getting supplies and most of the time the tatoo shops give him a hard time and will not sell him anything because they view him as competition but this place welcomed him and sold him all he needed. This is where he goes from here on out

This is my first time here. I got a Tattoo and nose ring. The place was clean and they were Friendly! The owner did my Tattoo and piercing. He made sure I was comfortable and he was hilarious! I recommend!!!

Please don’t go here for piercings they charge so much just to do botched piercings & the only option is to have them removed or repierced but who wants to risk having them done poorly all over again.. they’re nice and all but don’t know what they’re doing im afraid..

Honestly. It was overpriced. $150 for a colored piece that was smaller than the width of a soda can. Ive paid for a shaded piece at another parlor that covered my entire bicep without color elsewhere and it ran me $200 and that was original artwork. I just got a flash.

I give these folks 5 stars if I can give 10 I would !! Great customer service very funny people and I felt comfortable with them ! Doc did my tattoo and it’s soooo fire 😍❤️

Got piercings here, and had them looked at by another piercer and he told me they were pierced incorrectly. my piercer was very nice and warm, but i was devastated when i had to take my piercings out.

Hard to judge a whole tattoo shop based on the experience with one employee.. But it wasnt the most professional or inviting place around. It was just okay.

Just left from up there and i couldnt be any happier with the way my tattoo turned out! Mary killed it. Definitely will be going back and getting much more ink from there. ❤❤
