Sunshine tattoo studio

We came across this shop online and it called out to me. My artist was Herman and he was great!! He took the time to provide an excellent copy of my son’s handwriting (who passed away in 2020) which I was not expecting to get because I didn’t have an appointment. It’s an added touch that makes the tattoo even more special. And even though he had another customer waiting he didn’t rush through it. The tattoo is perfect!! It’s like a hug from my son every time I look at it. Thank you Herman!!

Austin and Karley were so much fun today! My boyfriend and I got matching tattoos and they were excellent, exactly what each of us wanted. Very welcoming and friendly environment, will definitely be returning for our next tattoos!UPDATE: My boyfriend and I attended their Friday the 13th tattoo special and it was awesome! We were in and out in about 45 minutes! Will be back for Friday the 13th in December !!!!!

Karley is great. Gives the best tattoos ever. And I would know. Currently on the table getting one of her original designs. Excellent as always!

Marks Apprentice Diamond is the girl to go to!! (so is Mark lol) but for my piece i got done to be her 3rd EVER on skin is mind blowing. I have way over 45 tattoos & hers is 1 of my top 5 favorites. shes amazing & I seriously cannot wait to see how far shell go as an artist!! keep it up girl!!! you ROCK!!!!

FYI Rayne is no longer working at Sunshine. She moved to Skin City Ink. I am not going to change my review of Sunshine but I followed Rayne.I have been tattooed six times now by five different artists in four different shops over the course of nearly 28 years. Most recently I used Sunshine Tattoo Studio initially via walk-in with my family. My daughters and I had been planning a Dad and Daughters tattoo for several years and we took advantage of all three of us in Memphis over the holidays (Dec 23). We were paired with Rayne Laughlin and we could not have been more lucky! The quality of her work was top notch and I will attach pictures of our work. However, the reason where she really shone was her people skills. It was my youngests first tattoo and she was super nervous. Rayne took the time to talk with her, answered her questions and addressed her fear. During the tattoo she over-explained every move she made to ensure my daughter was comfortable. My eldest had been tattooed twice and Rayne exhibited the same level of care with her as she did with my youngest! In fact, Rayne was so comforting my wife decided to pull the trigger on her first tattoo, one she had been contemplating for a couple of years, that night! Yep, same level of care and concern with her.I was so impressed with Rayne and the operation of Sunshine in general that I went back a little over a month later and talked with her about a tattoo Ive been contemplating for almost seven and a half years! It just so happened to be a style she loved and showed me some of her similar work. It didnt take long to convince me, given my previous experience with her and the facility so we booked it.My latest tattoo was fairly complex and it took a solid 4+ hours to complete it. Again, she took her time to over explain everything and was constantly checking with me to make sure I was okay.I dont know if Ill get any more tattoos as I said this last one was going to be my last (I said that 7 years ago when it was drawn) but I ended up getting a simple one in between so, who knows! What I do know is, I will definitely consult with Rayne first!

Karley is AMAZING. She knows her stuff and is such a talented artist. She has inked me, my son and my brother. The only artist I trust to do it - and do it right. Cannot say enough about her.

Karley is absolutely amazing. Would recommend to anyone wanting a first piece or anything done at all. She helped me start my sleeve and i absolutely love it.

Go see Breanna!!!! Her line work is so meticulous and if you like flowers, she’s your girl. I’m so in love w the art she put on my arm….id recommend her to everybody 💕

Having been to several other shops in the area to get both tattoos and piercings done, Sunshine Tattoo Studio is by far the best!Between me and my husband, we’ve had 6 tattoos done here (5 by Austin and 1 by Breanna) and 1 piercing (by Mark) and we couldn’t be happier with how they look and the overall great service and experience we always have while we are there.I highly recommend stopping by for a quick tour and meeting some of the artists. They are also very active on Facebook and Instagram and post a lot of pictures of the current tattoos each artist has done and any specials they have going on.

This shop is too notch and clean! The staff is friendly and helpful! I had Herman as my artist and he is a great artist I would highly recommend him to anyone he cares about his work and he is very professional!

One of their many amazing artist up there Mark is truly a master at what he does! He is in the process of completing my full Star Wars sleeves and I couldn’t be happier! If you want a new tattoo this is a MUST GO TO STUDIO!!! Also the owner is truly amazing and really cares about her staff and customers!

This was my daughter’s first tattoo so wanted someone that was personable and talented. Breanna Farris was all that and more!! She made my daughter feel very comfortable and did an amazing job too. Highly recommend!

Mark helm did an amazing job last night on my cover up it looks so good I absolutely love it. Will for sure come back for more work piercings also thank you guys so much for the wonderful hospitality and great friendliness Mark is also working on my ol mans big cover up and already from the first appointment it looks better cant wait to see it finished. Mark is also the only guy that would accept my ol mans cover up we was sent away and told there was no way it could be done.
