Ranger Tattoo & Piercing

Went on Friday the 13th and got him as my artist. I am so happy with his work. He had a light touch and his line work is perfect. It is so hard to find a tattoo person that is a true artist but he is the real deal. I would highly recommend him to anyone! I have found my guy now and I am so happy I did. I will for sure be getting much more work done in the future. Thank you Steve! Your the man😁

I came in to see my boy Robert Relic as I always do! Dudes a beast for real! Ranger Tattoo was a very great experience. All the artists are very clean, professional and a delight to be around! Not to mention the shop itself was very sanitary! Not a fingerprint or smudge to be seen! I will 100 percent be recommending Robert and this shop to anyone who asks! Cant wait to go back!

The drive was totally worth it! We drove about 30 miles to get here because we couldn’t find a clean one with good customer service, positive reviews that was open. I was a little hesitant but as soon as I walked in I knew we were at the right place. This place was pristinely clean and surprisingly affordable. We had been quoted up to $150 for simple lobe piercings. This was a third of that!! Customer service is top notch I wish I would have gotten the name of the gentleman that helped us, he is professional, patient, empathetic and just plain kind which we don’t see too much of these days. My girls instantly felt safe and like the place and staff. Highly recommended location for getting your kids ears pierced. Avoid claires walmart and all those places that use a gun their prices are also higher fyi. Thank you for the outstanding service!

Robert Relic has done most of my tattoos, from my very first tattoo to my most recent. He is one of the CLEANEST artists I’ve ever gone to. He is always sure to make you feel comfortable during your appointment. If you want a good experience getting tattooed go to Robert Relic.

I had a great experience here with Steven. He does wonderful color work and his lines are nice and bold. I legitimately asked him if he used numbing cream because he had such a soft touch. Im already planning to go back this week and have him redo an old piece on my shoulder. The shop has a great atmosphere and all the other staff were very nice.Update: Added some photos of the work done now that it has healed. Im also working with Steven on a new piece right now as well that Im very excited to get done.

I had one of the best tattoo experiences that i have had yet with Steven from Ranger Tattoo and piercing! He made sure i got exactly what i wanted with great line work and shading, and his use of color really made the colors pop! My wife and I definitely plan on going back to get more tattoos with Steven.

Tito was awesome! Decided on a tattoo on a whim, found Ranger Tattoo and decided to try them out. He was great and the staff was wonderful as well. Definitely will come back here again.

Alaina was very quick to draw up me and my partners tattoos based on reference photos we had. She asked us our budget, and got to making sure we had a good size and location in mind. We got there around 12:30, and we both walked out around 4:00pm, both our tattoos done.She made so many amazing details on mine, Including shading and different colors (we added the rain drops). Came here to get a lip piercing and see the price of a tattoo. there’s no shop minimum here but i was quoted $90 for a tattoo about the size of a penny. the piercer was very sweet about moving the placement a couple times before i was happy with it. except i did ask for piercing to be slightly angled to accommodate for the jewelry i eventually wanted to wear. she agreed with me and then did not angle my piercing at all

I’m so glad we found this shop! Conveniently located near our home, and has a welcoming atmosphere. Jazz, who pierced myself and my daughter, was both friendly and professional. My daughter got angel fangs and I had my eyebrow done. The whole experience was pleasant, and she really took the time to ensure proper placement. We definitely will be going back in the future!

Such a great place. Clean, everyone was friendly, I got a simple tattoo (the initial to my last name), but its still amazing. I believe the gentleman that did my tattoo was named Robert. I could be wrong. Theres a million things going through my head right now. Anyway, the talent, it seems as if my artist has a range of talent. Overall, Im so happy.

I got a tattoo from Alana and she was great! easy to have a conversation with during the session and asked how i was doing since it was my first professional tattoo. i’d definitely like to come back in the future :) my tattoo was only 1inx1in and she did the fine lining and shading beautifully!

Renee did a fantastic job! Im really happy with my second hole ear piercing! She took her time to make sure the marks were as simetrical as possible.

My son and I went in on Friday the 13th. The wait was long (as expected) but not too bad. The front desk ladies were super nice. The tatoo took less time than the wait but the whole experience was worth it. Highly recommend!

Renee was wonderful! Very professional. She pierced an industrial for my girlfriend, and recommended a great saline spray for aftercare. She was very attentive and made sure my girlfriend had some water and got us some candy to help her blood sugar when she started feeling a bit dizzy after standing up a little quick. Id definitely recommend Renee as a piercer!

I recently had a full sleeve tattoo done by Steven. I couldn’t be happier with the final outcome! He did such an amazing job with each piece I requested and filled in the smaller areas with his own designs. I get so many compliments! He’s also a really nice guy which made the whole process easy and amazing! I’ll definitely be returning for more tattoos.

Walked in to do a cover-up of a solid black tattoo and the experience was great from start to finish. Tito worked with my wife to come up with a design that I would like and it came out perfect. I feel he added a level of detail higher than what I expected for the work. He did an exceptional job and I am beyond happy with my tattoo.

Eddy did a great job, knowledgeable and helped us not make a mistake on placement of tattoo. Lines are clean (imperfections are from the design being drawn by me) healed nicely. Would definitely come back.

Xavier was great. Came in kind of last minute and he was willing to stay behind to finish up my shoulder piece. Super focused and talented. Will be returning to him for a back piece in the near future.

From the second I walked into the shop I felt welcomed. All of my questions were answered in detail. The process of getting my helix pierced was explained in detail as well. I was able to watch everything being set up, as well as the seal of the piercing needle being broken to ensure it was new and clean!

They were so great! We got here right when they opened and I was able to go right back. I had my 2nd lobes done by Hailey and she was amazing! So kind and patient with me as I decided on placement. It was affordable and a super clean and quick process :)

I had my tattoo done by Steven and he did an awesome job! It looks exactly like the picture I brought in so I couldn’t be happier. All the staff I dealt with at Ranger Tattoo were very helpful and friendly. I’ll definitely be back.

We were originally quoted $410, then halfway through the tattoo RelicRobStar480 said it would be a few more hours even though it looked completely done by then but they insisted on doing more to it and said that the front desk people who quoted us dont know what theyre doing and shouldnt have quoted us at $410. He said it will cost extra for numbing it too. He also added a bunch of ridiculous stuff to the tattoo design without asking first. It was $600 out the door for what was supposed to be a couple of cartoon flash tattoos. On top of all of this Rob used his phone and touched various things with his gloves on and continued tattooing without changing gloves. He also used alcohol directly on the tattoos after he was done. Never had an artist do that before. No warning either and it hurt, bad. Now my wife has to take antibiotics because her tattoo got a bacterial infection and parts of it have been oozing non stop and pieces of it scabbed up and fell off, and its been all red for over a week. She is crying from the pain and has to miss work because she cant walk with pants on because it needs to heal but its infected. This is crazy guys. Do better.EDIT: replying to your reply saying this didnt happen at your shop... The Marge and Homer Simpson tattoos dont ring any bells for you?! It absolutely DID happen there. Rob, Robert, or RelicRobStar480(his Instagram handle) 100% works there. How would I know that if it wasnt true? You LIE!!!!! DONT GO TO THIS SHOP! ALL THERE REPLIES TO LEGITIMATE REVIEWS ARE COMPLETELY DISHONEST AND DISRESPECTFUL. Also, Ive added a screenshot to show you that we visited your location 2 weeks ago!

My family and i came in to get matching tattoos in memory of our matriarch, who has a butterfly tattoo. the artists at Ranger were incredibly accommodating and got a group of five of us in the same day as inquiring. i am so impressed with the quality and care that our artist, Steven, gave to us!!

Jazz did an amazing job walking me through each step of my piercing. She was calm and reassuring the entire time! Would definitely.come back for my piercing and tattoo needs!

Beware. Do not go to this shop. This shop is lying in their review responses and has artists working there with unsafe practices. I ended up with a bacterial infection. The artist DID use alcohol on my tattoo not once but twice. You have cameras there, you can check them and also see that he did not change his gloves after touching his phone and continued to tattoo me, as well as turned on the fan and continued. This happened at the location next to Zia records and was done by Rob.Update: that’s a lie. Either you are lying to the world or he’s lying to you. I literally asked him if it was alcohol, saw him pour from the bottle on to the paper towel and then use it on my skin. He said it helps the saniderm stick. Besides that, it’s the least of my worries. He was unsanitary which resulted in a bacterial infection and I had to seek medical treatment. He also changed the design without asking, adding an entire second ring to the background that isn’t even a real shape. The fact that you are taking no ownership is sickening.

Alana is awesome!! I live in TX, but decided to get a tattoo on my last visit to AZ..I will definitely make it a point to come see her again next time I’m in the area!!

I enjoyed the sensitivity & the authentic desire to capture the mood, design & color combination I was after for the tatoo. This is the third time I have revisited this shopfor designs and every artist has been wonderful and professional!

The first time I went, it was a great experience with Alanna. The second time, not so much with another artist. He didn’t really listen to what I wanted and I ended up with a tattoo that doesn’t align with the look i’m going for - not sure what to do about it now. It wasn’t cheap and took about 5 minutes to complete. Even walking back up to the receptionist, her face dropped because this was not what we had discussed. He was very nice, but I highly recommend Alanna as an artist.

Today I went to my appointment with Alana for 2 pieces off her flash. I was greated by Renee, a team piercer and receptionist, upon entry. Alana was ready before the appointment start time. Had a very light hand throughout the pieces. I changed my mind about adding color to one of the pieces and was she happy to accommodate my request. Overall great experience. I got my nose pierced today by Rene and it was probably one of the easiest piercings I’ve gotten. I had gotten it pierced a few years ago and decided to let it close because the OG piercer (NOT FROM THIS SHOP) didn’t pierce it evenly with my other nostril. Rene was able to repierce it quickly and as painless as a nose piercing can be, and the best part, they’re even now! She also took the time to show me when she broke the seal of the needle which I’ve never seen before and greatly greatly appreciated.The location was also incredibly clean and well organized, I will definitely be coming back for another piercing and some tattoos!

Titto was amazing. I came in last minute as a walk in and he squeezed me in for not one, but three tattoos. He was quick, gentle, and friendly. All of my tattoos exceeded my expectations. I got Nose and lip piercing with Renee and she was so sweet and professional. Im heavily tattooed and pierced and she tells you every single step shes doing which is really refreshing and good to see. Not only does it show that she knows what shes doing but she makes sure YOU know whats going on at every step.

We went for my birthday, my GF (her 1st tattoo) & I got a tattoo of our dads signature, both in heaven. Absolutely love Eddy!! He even gave my other GF her 1st tattoo ever, a 🦂

I have been to this shop a couple times with a friend and I felt the shop environment upon arrival was comforting and the piercer that did my friend’s ear was super sweet and considerate. The same friend and I go in at like 8 pm yesterday to get my seconds pierced. The guy at the counter automatically raised red flags and throughout my entire piercing process he continuously made inappropriate jokes around me and my friend. I felt EXTREMELY uncomfortable and not only that but I was charged $80 for my second lobe piercing because he decided to throw in some saline spray which i didn’t need but he added it to my total anyways without even asking. I got home and I realized that he gave me two different earrings and one is proportionally bigger than the other. I’m so disappointed and disgusted. I would also like to add that he didn’t even check my ID once to see if I was appropriate age which is so unprofessional and I have had my fair share of piercing shops.

I recently moved to AZ so I didn’t have a tattoo artist here. I came to Ranger because of the name being a prior service member of the army. This place ripped me off hard core. Severely overpriced for a simple tattoo. $150-$200 anywhere else but $450 here! Don’t haggle go somewhere else for sure!

They’re probably great at artwork tattoos, but if you want anything with lines or words done, in my experience, go somewhere else.I got a cross tattoo. Spent $100. The lines are uneven in thickness. Kind of looks like it was done with a Bic pen. My wife said “it might’ve been his first time doing a tattoo”. Oof. The right side of the cross is also bent at the end. As shown in the picture.Saw this place had 900 5 star reviews, which is why I came, but my experience just wasn’t that. That’s what’s kind of confusing to me, because I’m not sure what happened. Maybe it just wasn’t the studio to do a cross tattoo. I can’t do a tattoo at all, and this may sound ignorant, but I just figured it was 2 lines, being inked over a premade stencil…shouldn’t be too complicated…I called to set an appointment but was told they only do walk ins. For context, my wife got 3 tattoos right before we came here at a different shop. Set up an appointment, came in and all her designs were layed out and made on a computer. Not drawn by hand and subject to human error. All done with such precision and they all came out amazingly. No unevenness or crooked lines.I’m going to get it fixed at the studio my wife got hers done at once mine has healed in 4-6 weeks. It’s more expensive but I can see why now. Definitely not the end of the world, but when it comes to something permanent on your body, I don’t think it’s an over reaction to be upset.
