I always see Hunter Goff here and he is absolutely incredible. He’s done my last five tattoos, all ranging from small to big and every one of them has turned out great. If you’re around the Mobile area and want a tattoo, go see him. You will not be disappointed.

I came to these guys in a LARGE group for a memorial tattoo for our friend. We contacted them Saturday morning and they had us in Sunday afternoon and did a unique version of a shared tattoo for each of us. They were kind and made space for our group and the grief we were all going through. It was a great experience and Ill be back

Was tattooed by C.W one of the best tattoo artist I’ve been too!! It was such a comfortable and fun environment. Went by very fast with neat line work. I will be back for any future work and touch ups especially if he’s there, they’re also extremely affordable!!!!! Will be recommending this tattoo shop to anyone I know looking for tattoos in the future!!

If you are looking for a new artist, look no further. Ana at old Familiar is incredible. Everything about this tattoo is amazing, the design, the lines, the little details, the color scheme! I only have 5 tattoos total, but the latest has surpassed all the others. With my old artist leaving the area, I have found a new home at Old Familiar.

Very prompt to meet you in the lobby, super friendly staff that is able to answer all questions. And great with folks getting their first tattoo. Definitely would suggest to give them a try.

I’ve only ever been tattooed by one person, so I was a bit nervous going to a different shop. All my nerves dissolved away when I walked in. I was greeted by *smiling* helpful employees & amazing decor. The general vibe is very warm & welcoming. I chose an amazing original flash design from William. He is super talented & puts you at ease immediately. You are in good hands at Old Familiar. They take great care of you, I highly recommend any of the artists there & can’t wait to go back for another! 🖤

My sister was in town and we were interested in getting our grandfathers signature. We walked in when they opened and Nick was so kind and took care of us immediately. Shop was clean, the tattoos are perfect and I’ll be back to see Nick to add a bouquet of flowers under it!!

If you want a clean environment, friendly service, a all around good tattoos this is the only place in Mobile that you need to visit. They do it all and they do it all well. Knowledgeable and talented I won’t go anywhere else in south Alabama for a tattoo. I’ve been visiting this shop and CW specifically for over 2 years now (full sleeve and working on my leg now) and he does fantastic tattoos. Thankful for these guys (and ladies) who’ve set up shop in Mobile. Truly a treasure to the community and the local art community as well. And if you need a piercing you won’t find anyone better than Tori and Mary or a better selection of jewelry in Mobile. They’re really a treasure and a joy to work with.

I’ve gotten 4/5 of my tattoos here. Anna is the coolest and always makes me feel comfortable and leaving happy with my tattoo. i’ve brought three friends to her and we all love her.

Got my first tattoo today, and had William. He was recommended to me by a friend and truly one of the most chillest/nicest people you’ll ever meet. The overall crew was incredible and very fast service for a walk-in customer. I will be returning for another in the near future! HERE. GO HERE! AMAZING!! I can’t say enough good things. We travel to different states and get a souvenir tattoo when we go.. This was literally the best experience we’ve had. We were walk ins and luckily were able to get in. Anna did my tattoo and she did not disappoint! I was a little nervous about pain level of placement but she talked me through it and was so fast! She designed it to fit with my existing tattoos. I WISH we lived closer we’d make this our regular shop! Thank you Anna and CW! It was a perfect experience.

When searching for a tattoo shop we got a recommendation from a good friend for Old Familiar. Mistakenly showing up at 12:40 when the shop opens at 1:00 Nick and Will welcomed us readily. Nick created a beautiful dragonfly tattoo for my dear friend, Cindy. Will tattooed the sweetest heart for me. These two great artists made our experience. Perfect. I had a tattoo put on today, and it turned out great. Everyone was friendly, and I was a walk in, but they took me right in. In and out in about an hour. I highly recommend!! Thanks guys I love the new ink! It’s still covered up, I will add pictures as soon as it heals.

I got tattooed tonight by Will! I absolutely love my barbed wire butterfly. I definitely plan on going back! Even spoke with him about him possibly doing a cover up for me in the future. Everybody was super nice and easy to talk to! My SIL and I definitely can’t wait to go back!

My all time favorite tattoo shop ever. I’ve been tatted by both CW and Anna! the work is absolutely stellar and these guys are personable. They make sure you get what you want, but the best tats come with allowing a little freedom to the artist! I’m obsessed! If you get tatted here you won’t want to travel elsewhere for your ink!

I can’t recommend this place enough. I got my first ever nose piercing done, and it was a wonderful experience. Tori was so sweet, kind, and approachable, and she went to great lengths to make sure that I was comfortable and understood what she was going to do. The atmosphere was very friendly and relaxed, and all of the staff were very welcoming and helpful. I can’t speak to the quality of other piercing shops around Mobile, but I know for sure I will be going here for all of my future piercing or tattoo needs. I have to mention Tori one more time, I really can’t stress how amazing she was. As someone who has never gotten a piercing before, I was somewhat worried about how they would treat a first timer, but Tori made me feel like an experienced veteran of piercings. Get your piercings done here!

This place was Awesome! And so was Will! I literally walked in with no appt and he assisted me and advised he could do my tattoo immediately. He was very nice and professional! He stopped several times to check on me and advised me from the get go that it may hurt due to where I got it! I definitely recommend him and Old Familiar!

I got tattooed by Anna tonight for Friday the 13th, and chose her Furby that says violence under it and absolutely love it. Ive never felt more welcomed, and felt more comfortable at a tattoo shop like I had tonight. There was a bit of a wait, but that was expected because it was Friday the 13th and almost every place is doing flash tattoos tonight. But Anna was super duper sweet, checked on me a good bit to make sure I wasnt uncomfortable and walked me through everything she did. I have a few tattoos but it still makes me nervous due to my fear of needles. (I know, weird to have and still get multiple tattoos lol) but anywho, she was AWESOME 10/10 would recommend and will DEFINITELY be going back!!

I brought my daughter there to get her ears pierced. Mary was amazing!! My daughter is 14 and we have tried to get her ears pierced three other times before but never at a tattoo shop. Mary did such a great job of explaining why it didn’t take before and the process For cleaning even going as far as telling us she would come in on her day off if there were any problems and she needed to look at the piercing. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Took my 6 year old in for ear piercing with Tori & Mary. They were absolutely AMAZING!!!!! Tori took up so much time explaining everything to my daughter and answering all of her questions. She made sure my daughter was comfortable and let me be involved as well. My daughter had zero pain during piercing or afterwards. Tori made sure we had her number when we left in case we had any questions or problems. Days later my daughter accidentally pulled out her earring, Tori willingly stayed after hours to meet us and replace her earring. She is absolutely precious & so caring. The shop was so clean and everyone was so professional. I highly recommend them & I’m so glad we took my daughter, it was such a good experience!

I never leave reviews but Mary was so great I have to. Super quick, clean, and comfortable. Talked to me through the whole thing and by far the best piercing experience I’ve ever had. Getting my septum redone by her after years of having it out was even better than the first time I got it pierced, even with the scar tissue from the first piercing. Also, the counter guy Larry was extremely nice. Thank you guys so much.

One of the best Tattoo Parlors in Mobile! Super clean, friendly, open, and attentive. I went in with my mom to get a commemorative tattoo for my aunt, her sister, and we were met right away. Will did the work on our tattoos and getting together what we had envisioned. He has a light hand and his shade work is on point. He communicated throughout the whole process. Definitely will come back again and request him.

Not only did Anna (who is AMAZING) answer a few minutes before they were even open, but she was nice enough to take care of me right away. She took my idea and helped me make it something I loved. This guy, CW Neese, hes an amazing artist! I will never forget when I saw my back tattoo finished for the first time. I cried. I was so in love! It was perfect! It was way beyond what I ever imagined it to be. I truly love the way CW tattoes, he works from the outside in on my back never touching the same spot twice in one sitting and to anyone that has a lot of work knows just how awesome that can be. I highly recommend him. He definitely has his own style and is amazing at it.

There are so many positive things to say about the superior quality of craftsmanship that CW puts into every tattoo. Went to get a tattoo and didnt like the way the guy handled ink so I got upset few weeks later I forced myself to go back to talk to owner he was very understanding and sincere I appreciated that so much the guy who did my ink also apologized which means a lot to me so I will continue to go to them because of that customer service is always needed to diffuse a situation

CW is one of if not the best artist Ive come across in the Mobile area. I have two tats done by him and both are around 15-20 years old and still look brand new and his work is always great.

Had my first tattoo done by cw and it came out great the parts that scabbed didnt scab up alot the lines are still very clear and you can see the tattoo very well as for my first experience it was very good and cw is a fun person to talk too would recommend
