Nashville Ink

Love my Tr-star Tennessee tattoo, if you’re taking a trip to Nashville I would recommend this place. Unfortunately I can’t remember the guys name that done my ink but very pleased with it. Over here in the UK tattoo’s are vastly cheaper but what do you expect, you’re in the heart of the town and something that I will always remember my time in Nashville 👍🏻

Aaron did my tattoo and two of my friends. We had to wait about 2-3 hours till we could get our tattoos but it was 100% worth it! He was extremely nice and very very thorough. He spent a lot of time making sure our sketches were perfect which we greatly appreciated because all the tattoos we got were very sentimental to us. The front desk ladies are super funny and I loved the entire vibe of this place! Would definitely recommend as long as youre not in a rush!

My wife and I went for our anniversary. Each of us getting our very first tattoo. Very spur of the moment. Aaron was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and honest through the entire process. Not to mention a killer artist. Highly recommend!

Took my nephew to get his first tattoo while I was in town. Emailed in advance to figure out the shop, minimum price and the hourly price. It was $100 minimum for tattoos and $250 an hour. The receptionist was very kind conversational. The artist that was chosen by the receptionist was very cold and unfriendly. I believe his name is Jason. Despite the price ranges, we were told about he quoted $220. Im thinking it may take an hour so I agreed. It took less than 20 minutes. Its important to note that there does not seem to be any problem with the tattoo but the tattoo was pretty small and simple. An apprentice could have done it. His aftercare instructions were lacking. I had to go into a whole set of instructions for my nephew that I was taught when getting my tattoos. I would have preferred for the professional to make sure he understood all the risk and instructions. Overall, not a great experience and for the price, there are certainly much kinder and professional artists out there.

Wade did a tattoo for me on 9/5 which was awesome. Great conversation, friendly, and gave me sizes and let me hold it up to see how it would work out.I had such a great time I went back 9/8 to get another small outline for a.memorial tattoo. Sadly this was a very different story.The first artist before they could hear my ideal told me there wasnt time and it was to much. Once he would listen he realized it was literally just a black outline of a pig. My artist didnt introduce himself, didnt care about the back story and then said Let me draw it how I think itll look good which is fine. I explained where I wanted it on my arm and he left. The girls at the desk even said sorry as something seemed off with the artists today.About 20 mins later he had a design and it looked pretty good and I was happy with it. He then just took off upstairs and my wife and I walked to follow him. When I asked to see it up against my arm he held it up and I explained that wasnt where I wanted it and when I asked him to move it he stated he wouldnt let me touch it. I decided this wasnt the feeling I wanted for my tattoo and moved on and thanked him for my time while giving feedback for his rudeness.The girls downstairs saw us leaving and apologized again and said the artists were being weird today and we left.Overall its a cool shop, but I think that artist( he open carrys his pistol) was burnt out with tourists or had something going on.Wade was dope as hell though with clean line work.

Shop is in a great location, receptionist is the sweetest, had Jason and he is RUDE!! Made rude comments and was not friendly. He does great work but man get some people skills. 6/10 in my opinion. Tattoo is great though, exactly what I wanted.

I had an amazing experience yesterday when I popped in to discuss a tattoo I wanted to get while I am on vacation in Nashville. I had stopped by another local shop and they were not helpful, told me my vision couldn’t be done on such a small scale and then had me look at their stock images. I left and walked down to Nashville Ink and met with Elvis (yes that’s his name) and he listened to what I wanted to do and gave me reasons why something’s wouldn’t work for the size instead of just saying no. He then took the time to draw the vision I was trying to communicate to him and we decided on the size. I’m beyond thrilled with how it turned out and will recommend your shop to anyone I know coming down and wanting to get a tattoo. Who knows, I might just came back to just see Elvis to more of what I want to get done. Thank you for taking the time with me.

First we called a week in advance and was told to just walk in and it would be cool. So, we showed up and they were rude but we still decided to wait and talk with an artist. The artist comes out and was like we cant do that. We could maybe do the book but it will take 3 hours and be $500 a piece all while being very rude. So we left and went elsewhere. Got an excellent tattoo the full thing including the watercolor part they couldnt do for $300 and it took 30-1 hour depending on the size as there was 5 of us and some were bigger than others. Also the artist and everyone in the shop was super nice and even stayed late to accommodate all 5 of us. Dont go to Nashville Ink they are not professional.

I visited Nashville Ink while on a trip from Canada. They were quick to reply to my email and I had an appointment within a day. The staff that greeted me were very friendly. Jerod did a couple of pieces for me and did an amazing job. I would definitely see him again if I were ever back in Nashville.

I looked online for a tattoo shop in the area and after reading reviews I always choose the option to see all the lowest star reviews I was skeptical but chose to go here anyway I will tell you I walked in the door with my wife and she was able to get tattoo sketched and completed before I could get a drink and return it was amazing I then decided to make a lap around the block and ended up right back here again to get my tattoo collectively I spent 450 here and got two tattoos by wade I would return the line work and shading was amazing the shop was clean and he was quick. I wasn’t sure what I wanted but I showed a clip art idea and the artist put his own swing into it I will praise this place and wade daily to anyone I know that is going to Nashville thanks again guys for the amazing experience. P.S I saw multiple people walk in and walk out while I was in waiting room I got a walk in appt. The biggest complaint from all the “tourist” that were in and out was “oh my I had no idea a sleeve would be more than 50 bucks” don’t worry about the 1 stars they are not real people

Jason was awesome! 5 of us came in as walk-ins and he got us in and out within a couple of hours. Great staff, great artist, clean environment, nice atmosphere. Only have great things to say. I’m sure if we’re ever back in Nashville we will return to Nashville Ink!

Sat for 2 hours just to be told that my design was a no go. Did not offer any suggestions- was just simply a no!. My suggestion would be to have a receptionist with more knowledge to know if an artist is able to complete a tattoo, instead of just having clients waiting for such a long period of time to be told no!

Me and my sister were looking for a place to get our septums pierced, so I called this shop. We had time to come in on Sunday, so I asked if they would have a piercer available and the girl on the phone said they would. I tried to make an appointment and she said it was walk-ins only. When Sunday came we went into the shop and asked to see a piercer and the girl at the counter said that their piercer didnt come in until Wednesday. I was pretty irritated because I had already paid for parking downtown to come do this and wasted time to come in. We ended up finding a different place that got us right in and did a fantastic job!

Messaged the shop to book an appointment. They responded and said the tattoo is too small for an appointment and I can just walk in. Walked in and the artist was very rude and said the tattoo (a solid black line heart the size of a quarter) was too complicated and I’d need to get something similar. He also said I should’ve booked for something like this and I explained I tried. Ended up leaving without a tattoo. Artist was very rude. Shop has a $100 minimum but can’t do walk ins bigger than a quarter and expect to have someone pay $100 for that ?

Great shop. Took my wife and I for walk one. Elvis is a great artist and a cool dude to talk with. Get there early or you’ll be waiting.

Came in over the weekend to get tattoos with my boyfriend. Shop minimum is 100.Two small tattoos, 1”x1” somehow cost us over 600$.We did not get 600$ worth of tattoos. We are both medium heavy in tattoos, we have large pieces of amazing work. This was not priced correctly.BIG SCAM. Please save your money.

Wade was awesome. He was patient with us and did an amazing job. He laughed and joked with us keeping the mood light. He also listened to 6 of us individually on what we wanted and put it together. The plus was they took walk ins.

I was so impressed with the quality and artistry! Sean did an amazing job bringing my first tattoo to life. I walked in with an idea and a few pics, and he ran with it. I’m a turtle biologist, and to commemorate my stay in TN, a pendant I love, and an important anniversary of releasing a group of turtles back in the wild, Sean created a piece beyond my expectations. Thank you so much! I will return. It was worth every penny.

I got my tattoo last night from Elvis. He did a great job and I love it! Would definitely go back!

Visiting Nashville for the 1st time and my bff and I decided to get a tattoo. I called and got an appointment within 24hrs, no consultation visit required, and there is a $70 shop minimum. The staff was very friendly, nice, and helpful. They didnt were masks, but they were funny, patient, and understanding with a tattoo beginner like myself. I would definitely recommend this place.

Jason did a phenomenal job on my tattoo-I was in Nashville visiting my family and my precious cousin said she wanted to get a tattoo ,so on a whim I decided I wanted one. We did not have an appointment but we did not have to wait long at all. Jason was our artist and I loved his dry humor and he did an amazing job. I would highly recommend Jason and Nashville ink!

My husband and I are very impressed with Nashville ink!! Darren and Sean were amazing with us. Very professional. They both made us feel comfortable and were excited to do our tattoos. They were very sanitary with everything. Very clean!! A tattoo is forever and the tattoos were done very well. Highly recommend! Me and my bf walked in on a Sunday and we were both done within a couple hours. Longest was waiting since we didn’t make an appointment and they were busy. I had no intentions on getting one but I’m happy I went ahead and got my first tattoo! I was comfortable and the artist was amazing!

Maddi did my Tagus today and was abbbbsolutly phenomenal. Really great price for being able to pick my own jewelry too! They were super informative, funny and inviting! I went with a group of friends for a batch party and Maddi made sure my whole party felt included. Really can’t recommend this place enough they check all the boxes!🫶🏼thank you maddi!🫶🏼

Tattooing is a shared experience. A collaborative effort. Austin was phenomenal to spend time with today. My world is better because hes an artist in this world.

Brandon did and amazing job on my tattoo. Sean did an equally great job on my wifes tattoo. And the artist that did my daughters first tattoo was great. Well worth the price.

Myself and friends went in to get our first tattoos done on 2/26/22. The service was great, everyone was extremely nice, and the process was quick. However, I feel as though we were overcharged for the size of our tattoos as they were no where near large. I’m not sure how they usually go about with pricing, but we we’re definitely overcharged and the pricing (in my opinion) should’ve been half of what we were changed. My tattoo was $200+ when it shouldn’t have been more than $100. There’s no detailing, no shading, or color, and the tattoo isn’t big at all. The service was great, but the pricing sucks.

Got my belly button pierced and it looks absolutely awful!!! When she made the markings I even said it was too high and she said it looked fine to her and still did it. Afterwards I still complained saying I hated it and she said it looked good to her. As you can see it’s not even right and the bad thing is I can’t even get a refund because I signed those papers. Don’t go here for a piercing!!!! Terrible job!

Absolutely loved this place! I was in town for a few days and wanted to get a tattoo to commemorate the trip. We stopped in around 9pm and they got us right back. Even though I wanted a completely cheesy and stereotypical tattoo, Sean had no problems getting it done for me. He was awesome and had such a light touch!! I would gladly go back again!

Sean was great. My wife and I came in for matching tattoos as an Anniversary present to ourselves. We had a basic design. He drew the design with what we asked for and went to work. Nice clean lines, minimal pain, and a great tattoo.

For such a highly acclaimed tattoo shop I would expect better. Not to be ghosted during the consultation phase. I winded up driving out to Clarksville to get my tattoo done by another recommendation. But I was looking forward to getting tattooed by such a highly regarded shop here in my town. Thats just terrible customer service and running of a business to ignore people trying to follow through on their bookings.

I had to work harder trying not move from laughter, than it was to hide the pain. Great atmosphere, great price, and even better staff. Will be back!!!

Waited an hour past a scheduled piercing appointment and the piercer still didn’t show up. Staff had to be asked if she was coming and we were told she was “on her way” after after another 20 mins she still wasn’t.

This tattoo shop was super convenient and helpful! You could walk right in and they will get you set up. I seen Jason- I was a walk in client from out of state wanting a small flower to add to my floral sleeve. He brought to life just what I was looking for! He was attentive, talented and friendly. :)

Walked in while visiting Nashville and they were able to take me with no problem! Waited about 30 minutes. They were able to give me what I wanted and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. Funny banter and personable staff. For a walk in tattoo right around the corner from downtown, the price can’t be beat. Healed nicely and I get tons of compliments!

The piercer was very nice, actually, everyone was very nice, but the prices are pretty high for piercings. The tattoo minimum is $80 and that’s about average these days. I was happy with my results.

Our first time in Nashville and we wanted to get a tattoo in the city. This place does not do appointments, only walk ins! We had maybe a 15 min wait and our artist was amazing!

Been wanting a particular tattoo for some time now. I called and made an appointment with Darren and I do not regret it at all! He was amazing! The reference picture was done in black shadowing but I wanted it done in pink hues, which is very difficult... He NAILD IT! Cant wait to see it all healed when the shadowing really comes out! Thank you Darren and thank you Nashville Ink!! I will be back next time were in town! 💗

Rose (the owner) pierced me. He was very nice, professional, and accommodating.Everything was sterile and appropriate PPE was used. Would recommend.As a note, they don’t accept Capital One or Amex credit cards and there is a 2% charge on all other CC transactions.

Called ahead - when I was 500 feet away from there shop - GPS took us around two blocks - and even though we were tired and frustrated by my own dumdass navigation skills - they greeted my horrible sarcastic lame jokes with laughs … cheered me up and DID my Roommate / semi / sometimes Girlfriend a Solid minimum priced tattoo faster than Hard Rock Cafe brought out our drink order !!! WADE did a great job and she is smiling right now as I read this review out loud. !! - hey I may get lucky later !!Thanks NASHVILLE INK !!!

Nice looking place and the setup was nice for all the bands. Food was average and the service was as well. They need to add Labbatts to the menu being the kid live so close to Canada

Came in from out of town so I didn’t have a chance for an in person consultation. Had a few chats with Rob over the phone ahead of time and when I got there, he had drawn exactly what I was picturing. The place is super clean, the pricing is some of the most competitive I came across and the staff was all extremely friendly. Couldn’t be more happy with how the tattoo came out and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Would highly recommend this shop to anybody looking for a small walk-in piece (there were quite a few while I was getting my piece done) or for a more detailed session.

A group of us decided to stop in this past Sunday. We had to wait a good while, but we had 5 in our group so it was understandable. Jerod did a great job with my tattoo and took the time to even add to the design once he had completed what I had asked for. The detail he added really made the small piece pop and I was extremely happy with the outcome. I would definitely make an appointment and go back to see him next time were in town if possible.

I could have sued them 12 years ago. They electrocuted me and burned a hole in my back skin. Their machine wasnt grounded properly.

Yesterday I got my fifth tattoo (this is my third at this shop). My other two are fairly simple roman numerals and this one was more detailed/fine so I was a bit more nervous. Menace did an amazing job drawing out exactly what we wanted. I was wearing a super thick jacket and due to the heat, I actually passed out during the tattoo. The staff was super helpful and immediately provided me with a glucose tab and gatorade to help me feeling better.

The best!!! Sean does incredible work, took my idea and exceeded all expectations! Would recommend to anyone looking for a great artist who is able to turn ideas into masterpieces! 10/10 😍

I was very excited for my first tattoo. I had a very small Q of hearts tattooed on my hand. We selected this place because of the reviews. Everyone was very polite and fast. When the artist was done, I mentioned it looked like there was a spot not shaded in… he said it’s 100 percent shaded. 2 weeks later, once it’s almost heeled, it is obvious it wasn’t shaded in. Very disappointed. Now I need to spend more money to have it fixed even though I pointed it out to the artist.Update- if I thought mine was bad, once my husband’s tattoo healed it looks like a child outlined the heart. He has no color inside. $160 for this mess was ridiculous! Be careful!!

Darren was fantastic! He was very patient with all my questions and nervousness! There were 5 of us getting tatts, and they took us in immediately. The studio was clean and organized, staff was friendly & accommodating. We were happy they accepted walk-ins. Although the design was simple, yet meaningful, Darren’s lines are clean. We recommend this shop!

Great tattoo parlor! Brandon and Wade did fantastic jobs with my sons and my tattoos! The reception staff is super friendly and nice. The shop has a great vibe! We didnt have appointments and the wait was not long at all. We were there on a Saturday night.

My dad and I walked in and got tattooed by Darren. We came from out of town and got matching tattoos, he did an amazing job. We were in and out fairly quick. The shop was also very clean and everyone was so nice:) Definitely recommend coming here for any of your tattoo needs!

My big complaint about tattoo shops is they are not professional. This place was no exception. We had to wait for it to open because nobody showed up. We were the very first people to put our name down. We were skiped twice. After around a 45 minute wait and no artist had come over and spoken to us, we left. Tattoos are in style right now, so nothing’s gonna hurt their business. I just didn’t appreciate the way we were treated so we left. I can get an over priced tattoo anywhere in Nashville.

I was serviced by Brandon and he did a great job! He was kind, patient and super helpful as he recommended places for my husband and I to visit while in Nashville.

Last minute vacation decision turned into my favorite tattoo. The guys were super helpful with mine and my best friends jumbled ideas we brought in and came up with great pieces of art. I’d travel back from Oklahoma to Nashville for an excuse for another vacation and tattoo any day.

Upon walking in I could tell this was a busy place with lots of groups. After waiting a few minutes for my turn to put my name on the list, I was told it would be about an hour wait which I didn’t mind considering it was a Saturday. When speaking with the artist he understood what I wanted and agreed to keep it dainty and said he’d be back in 10 minutes with the sketch. After placing the stencils on my arm, I asked if he could change one of the stencils (a star) to the other variation that was stenciled out, to which he did. After placing another stencil I asked if that one could be moved over to which the artist said that by extending the line on the other star that moving this one wouldn’t work, I told him I understood and continued on. Upon completion I took a quick look and asked if he could fix one of the lines of the star as it looked like there were two ends. He proceeded to work on the star but not the specific line I asked. After paying and taking a better look outside, most of the lines aren’t even straight and the lines are thicker than what would be considered dainty. I guess that’s what you pay for. Overall the shop was friendly and clean but I’m disappointed in the line work of simple stars (20 small lines).

Four of us girls walked in and were helped right away. Jared did all four of our tattoos. He was funny and considerate, especially with this being my first tattoo. Loved the environment and all the tattoos were phenomenal! Highlight of our Nashville girls trip!!!!

Went for a girls weekend. We wanted a music note, which i know is not what an artist wants to do. We felt so welcomed. I have multiple large pieces, including my entire ribs. This was such a great experience for a simple piece. Extremely clean and organized. Best tattoo place in Nashville!

Went in today as a walk-in and had the best experience ever ! I had gone to a few shops before coming and I’m glad I landed here. The front staff were so nice and helpful. My artist was Elvis and he was so nice. I got a small, simple tattoo and he was so awesome. Highly recommend this shop !!!

Went into this shop to get 2 small tattoos while on my bachelorette trip. The girl sitting at the front desk wouldn’t even look up from her phone to talk to me. I showed her what I wanted and she said the shop minimum is $100. I asked her what the total cost would be, and she said she would have to bring an artist over to quote me which I accepted. The artist came over and said “so are you all getting tattoos” I told him just me and he said “alright what do you want” in a bothered tone. I showed him the 2 small tattoos I wanted to which he laughed at one of them and repeated what I described the tattoo as in a mocking tone. I told him it was a band’s logo and he laughed at me and then told me it would be $200 for both. I told him I’m sorry that I thought the shop minimum would cover most of both and maybe a bit extra, and he said absolutely not that I have to pay shop minimum for both (one was extremely small). I told him no thank you and I wouldn’t be getting them but thank you for his time. He said “so you don’t even want one?” And I said no thank you. And he laughed and said “alright then”. The staff was very rude and not accepting/accommodating to us coming into their shop. I do not recommend this place at all.

In Nashville for work and had a nose ring emergency on a Monday, a day most shops are typically closed- but not Nashville Ink! Maddie came to the rescue not only with amazing jewelry that was absolutely perfect, but also swapped out my old jewelry for me!! She was so sweet and friendly and knowledgeable. 5 stars just aint enough yall 🙌🏻

My wife and I were in the local area on vacation and have had the ice for fresh ink for a while. After looking at some reviews we decided to stop by Nashville Ink. What we thought were going to be to quick tattoos, turned into something much more. We were paired up with Sean, who after seeing our ideas asked if we could come back the following day which, we had no problem with. He ended up re-working my entire tattoo and doing a phenomenal cover up/add on. I truly couldnt be happier with the final result. He also did an amazing job on my wifes tattoo, who had gotten our late great danes paw print. She was almost in tears because it literally looks exactly the same as the print we have! Sean was great to work with, and the atmosphere of the shop if very warm and welcoming. Definitely recommend this shop and Sean!

For a $100 minimum on a tiny name tattoo that look less than 10 minutes, you’d think they’d do a good job at least. After it healed the tattoo was missing spots and faded. Some letters are over-lined. Lots of squiggly lines and overall does not look good… Very dissatisfied with something that will be on my body forever! Thanks a lot.

My daughter and her friends wanted to get piercings. My daughter passed out and had a severe panic attack along with seizure activity. The piercer Christina was absolutely amazing! She was so patient and kind and really stayed calm in a scary situation. She took a lot of time (like an hour) with us and made sure my daughter was okay and was very considerate of her friends and making sure they didn’t freak out. As well as me. I’m sure this has happened before but she never made us feel like we were a bother and was just so caring. The piercing turned out so good too and my daughter loves it! Highly recommend.

Me and 6 others wanted matching tattoos. We called and were told to come in anytime. We went there right after and they took our name and said an Artist would be with us soon. And hour and a half to 2 hours later, they called us up. We did not get an estimated wait time. We probably should have asked. The receptionist was very polite whenever we had questions. Brandon did our tattoos and was great. He was friendly and easy to joke around with. He got the 6 of us done in no time and the price was what I had expected so I would say its reasonably priced. All in all, I would definitely go back. The other artists that were there were friendly and joked around with us also. Next time I would probably ask if they had an estimated time. We didnt have anything else planned for that day so it was fine.

Just stopped in today to get my nose pierced! Super clean! Friendly staff! Sanitary measures taken…. Mask worn, gloves,alcohol prep, quick and easy. Pretty painless. Detailed care directions given and also available on their website. Private room for piercing. Chair wiped down after use. Very reasonable pricing!Definitely recommend! Will return for future piercings. Parking garage located right outside the front door! $5.00 for up to 30 minutes. We were only there about 15 minutes total time!

Fun atmosphere and nice staff. They had several options for piercings at reasonable prices. Was able to walk in without an appointment and took us back within 15 minutes. The whole process took about 5 minutes. Christina did a great job with my 6 year old daughter’s ear piercing, she didn’t even cry. Recommend this place for parents to take their kids! Safe, sterile, and easy!

Tattoo came out better than I was hoping for. Jerod killed it, amazingly talented guy!

We went in for a walk in tattoo and spoke to the tattoo artist named Sean. When we showed him our ideas we said they were fairly simple and he responded in a condescending manner. He said “would you be able to draw that up and tattoo it” he then proceeded to say that walk ins are more cowboy hats or boots. The tattoos we chose were a moon with lines. In my opinion, not a tattoo artist, this would the same if not easier than doing a cowboy hat or boots. There were 6 of us looking to get tattoos and 3 looking to get piercings and they lost all of our business because of the way he spoke to us.

Called in a month before our arrival and explained what we wanted - they said they take walk ins on Sunday and it wouldn’t be an issue. We arrive and they turned us away because they couldn’t accommodate what we wanted. (Which was simple line work) don’t go here. They lie and would not trust them.**edit. To the response. We sent a detailed email with photos and exact details of the want. So “simple line work” was defined by the artist and said it would be ok ? Just be careful thinking they can accommodate… they apparently can not

Darren did an amazing job for my friend and I who were visiting from out of town. Very clean shop, everyone was super friendly, and he did a great job on mine especially considering I am very jumpy with tattoos, lol. Would recommend to anyone coming into the area! :)

Paid almost $200 for two piercings and a daith earring change. Within 4 hours the daith piercing had lost one end. Called & they said they wouldn’t do anything about it. Couldn’t ship a new one and wouldn’t refund any money. My new piercings got infected even with proper cleaning and one of the new piercings came apart this morning. Very disappointed considering how highly rated this place is. I have over 13 piercings and have never had this much issueBut, I will say the people were super nice while getting the piercing. Was satisfied with service while there

Me and my wife went in last week when we were in Nashville and we got small tattoos we were quoted for mine it was the shop minimum of $80 and my wife’s was color and the quote was $160 and we agreed on that price but then after we got tattooed he changed the price and blamed us. He was so rude while tattooing us and barely acknowledged that we were there.

DO NOT get piercings here. It is WAY too expensive. It was $110 just for lobes.

Went here as a walk in with friends after I had called and was told walk ins were welcome and the tattoos were fairly simple (a moon with some lines) I was told by Sean in a very rude manner can you draw me up something like that right now? And proceeded to tell us walk in tattoos were boots or cowboy hats. The piercing girls seemed nice enough but after Seans attitude we left without giving them any business. Very rude and entitled artist.

The whole shop had great energy. My two friends and I had Wade as our artist and he was the best! I was nervous and he made me feel comfortable, talked us through size and placement, and laughed with us through all our goofiness. Highly recommend this place and Wade if your wanting some ink.

My husband and I came into town for vacation and we were looking to get some new ink. We came here thinking we were just going to get some tattoo therapy but ended up walking out amazed and sooo happy. Sean did an amazing job on both of us. My husband had a cover up/add on and i got my late girls paw print. I am soooo happy with the outcome and honestly i almost teared up. Sean was amzing and i would highly recommend him!

My wife and I went to go get a tattoo while we were town. We had Darren as our artist and he was great! Got us in and out the door very quick while executing the tattoos we wanted very well! Highly recommend using Darren if possible but everyone there was great.

Really disappointed with how my very simple/small tattoo turned out. The guy that did my tattoo was very nice but I’ll definitely never go back here next time we visit Nashville. The lines are squiggly and don’t line up in spots. The heart looks blown out. Not very happy that I spent over $100 on something that I now need to figure out how to get fixed.

Waiting area is nice and clean. Staff was pleasant. Jewelry quality is ok - expensive for what is used. Uses external threaded jewelry (internal threads are preferred). I also had a reaction to the jewelry that I hadnt had with other piercings.Piercer was unable to find one of the holes for my piercing, so i have to travel back to my original piercer to replace jewelry.

Sean was absolutely spot on with His work n personality...5 girls came in for the Freedom Kite and we all were so happy when done...the establishment itself was so clean n everyone there was helpful n courteous...

They do walk ins, we were told an hour and waited closer to 2 but i understand that they can’t always predict how long it will take for the artists to do their work. Darren was great super nice and understanding. Joked with us seems like a great guy and did amazing work with super crisp clean lines. $80 minimum for anyone who is wondering

DARREN was so heavy handed my skin was BLEEDING like I felt anemic and I had literally ate a steak for lunch? Anyways, this man tattoo’d me and huffed and puffed about the sizing like… should’ve got it right the first time. But he proceeded to tattoo my design UPSIDE DOWN. Like?????? King… bffr I didn’t even get a chance to approve the placement before hand I’m sorry but you’d never catch me recommending this place to ANYONE. On top of that, when he moaned and groaned about the placement he CHARGED ME EXTRA. Just know if it wasn’t for all the other WONDERFUL tattoo artists in there I wouldn’t have paid a dime. Like, If he doesn’t want his bills paid just say so.

Just finished getting a tattoo from here & the shop itself was not the problem. The atmosphere was nice, we didn’t wait long and everything ran smoothly. However, my friend and I were not happy with our artist Brandon. He made multiple rude comments as we got our small tattoos and made us feel very uncomfortable.

Just go here, there is no reason to pay an absurd amount of money anywhere else. Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Anytime my wife and I are in Smashville we’ll be coming here!

Went with a group to get tatted the same day. Took 5 walkins and got us in at a reasonable time. Wade did a fantastic job and was kind, funny, respectful, and patient. Other artists were the same. Reception was on top of their game getting people in and paper work done. Environment is super clean. Definitely the best shop I’ve ever been to. Highly recommend.

My cousin and I came to Nashville for my 30 + 1 birthday and impulsively got tattoos. Rob was awesome! It was busy but he took his time making sure we got exactly what we wanted, where we wanted it and more. He was funny, interactive and super talented. The price was awesome too! We were surprised. Being on Broadway is expensive but Nashville Ink was perfectly priced for the service we got. So happy with the result and service. A great memory to have forever.

During a girls trip to Nashville a couple of us wanted to get a very small tattoo that did not entail a lot of detail. The tattoo artist that was assigned to us took a very long time drawing up these two very little very basic tattoos. Two times he had to go back and redraw them because hes was not giving us what we asked for even though we showed him pictures. Each time he was very sarcastic and really didnt seem like he cared to put too much effort into these very basic projects so even though we were there waiting a very long time we decided to leave and not follow through with the tattoos feeling uncomfortable about the situation. The receptionist or whoever is behind the counter responded with oh hes going to be really mad. He could have gotten four tattoos done in the time he has been waiting on you guys. First of all the correct response should have been Im sorry you guys were unsatisfied and what else can we do to make this right.. secondly he couldnt get two very basic, very small tattoos right for us so the thought of him doing four other tattoos in the amount of time we were there is highly unlikely. Im sure there is a lot of talent that works with this tattoo shop but the attitudes of the people that at least we encountered absolutely sucked. Will not go back and definitely would not recommend. Courtesy for your customers go a long way.

The girls at the front desk were so sweet. My best friend and I got spontaneous piercings on a girls trip! Kris the piercer was very good but very matter of fact and all business-some could take offense but I appreciated her professionalism.

Both my wife and I got tattoos here while on a nashville vacation. We showed up a few minutes before our appointment, talked designs and price, and then got straight to it. Did not take a long time for either tattoo. Both artists that we worked with were friendly and made us feel at ease and comfortable. They charged us a fair price that we all agreed on and we were done. It was a very pleasant experience.

I have SEVERAL body piercings, so not my first rodeo. I went and got my cartilage and nose pierced June 8. I had to go back on June 10 because the more expensive “gold” stud lost its rhinestone. Paid the full price of $130 for a new “gold” hoop. Ten days later my more expensive “gold” pieces turned and tarnished and I’m now treating infections. Makes sense since I’m super allergic to fake, cheap jewelry. The “gold” jewelry they sell is FAKE. Don’t fall for it.

Loved this place! I got a septum piercing by Rose and my tattoo by Frankie. Both men were extremely professional. The wait was long, but its walk-ins and downtown Nashville. I believe we were there for a total of 3.5-4 hours, which included 3 piercings and 2 tattoos!

This place was fantastic! My friend and I went for piercings and to replace my nose stud for a ring. Christina was my piercer and she was very knowledgable and friendly. Getting the stud out of my nose was a huge pain for both of us, but she stuck with me and got it out! She also did a great job on my lip and industrial piercing. Be warned though, the jewelry prices are on the higher side, but they are quality pieces and it’s worth the extra money for a great piercer like Christina!

Got my eyebrow pierced on a whim. She was fantastic, quick and professional. Its been two weeks, and Ive had no problem! We were walk-ins and it was about only 45 minutes on weekend holiday.

Great place to get work done! The were kind enough to see me as a walk-in, provided I waited for a few people who had appointments ahead of me. They set very clear expectations in terms of wait times so that I knew what to expect and could plan accordingly. After a sketch of the small tattoo I wanted, Austin was awesome and listened to the adjustments I had in mind and quickly tweaked the image for me. He worked quickly but professionally and made sure I was 100% satisfied with his work before sending me off. Great place, appreciate yall accommodating a short notice small tattoo, would definitely recommend!

Two of my best friends and myself were in Nashville and we were wanting tattoos. After looking around at places we called them. They accepted walk-ins which was awesome. When we called, they were able to take us right away. Once we arrived we stated the size of our tattoos and soon filled out our paperwork. We all had the same artist and he did an amazing job! The guns were so quiet in the shop which was different from a regular tattoo shop. Everyone was friendly there. The shop was clean as well. Id definitely recommend this place!

Sent an email asking for an appointment on my birthday while I was staying in Nashville. I received an email very quickly asking if I had reference photos. I sent photos and a detailed description asking for an approximate price and approximate time frame for the tattoo. I never heard back from anyone for weeks. I decided to give them a second chance. A woman answered the phone and said she would speak with an artist and call me right back.......never happened. My daughter had the exact same issue. We were going to do tattoos for both of us on my birthday and piercings as well. Very disappointing customer service and never had this happen with any other tattoo shop.**Update** Nashville Ink did email me back and I missed it. I apologize to them for missing it and they were nice enough to call and try to fix the situation. I appreciate their time.

My sister got her medusa back and they did it perfectly fixing the mistakes the original piercer did. Prices are reasonable for their work and theyre highly knowledgeable. Will be returning to get stabbed in the face myself sometime. 😜

Over all good experience. We felt our greeting wasn’t very friendly.... When the artist took us to the back though, he made us feel comfortable. He explained everything he was doing step by step, his work area was clean and neat. The bathroom needs serious cleaning, but we would go back for more work. Happy with our results.

Visiting here from Indiana for a bachelorette party. Came into the shop and we were promoted to come back in about a hour which was NBD. We came back and we’re assigned to Sean who was VERY rude and unprofessional. He told us our tattoos had to be simple and quick. We showed him what we wanted and then judged almost all of them and then walked away. He spent no time with us. He also then overpriced our tattoos we wanted when they were simple lines and tats that take no more than 30 mins. I highly recommended not coming here as a visitor to Nashville. We ended up walking out on the shop.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. We called asking about a minimum and got told to be there fast. Proceeded to make us wait 20 minutes for Sean to be rude and tell us our tattoos have to be small and simple. He left out the fact that for each small and simple tattoo he was going charge us $100 over the minimum. You would have to get a line on your finger to be charged the minimum here. Highly suggest going elsewhere. Unfortunately, we had to walk out. 0/10

Had Jerod as an artist he did a amazing!!! Was just looking for some flash tattoo and sent him a simple design. He blew it out of the park. This shop is probably one of the best tattoo shops I have EVER been to. There was a specific tattoo I wanted and have wanted for over two years. I called around to probably 15+ tattoo parlors and everyone of them turned me away due to one reason or the other (one i chose to leave a mystery). Nashville ink, on the other hand, opened their doors Ike it was a family. The minute I walked in I was greeted with professionalism, understanding, and care. Jesse was AMAZING! Such attention to detail, and just an overall great guy. Not only does the tattoo mean so much to me, but the way you treated me made feel even better. Only place I will EVER go to! Kind, informative, caring, and just all around bad ass! Thank you for turning what could have been, and started off to be, an incredibly judgement thing into a great experience! Just great overall experience! The desk person was super friendly and helpful and the artist worked with me to get something I liked . It was over all a really awesome shop and not intimidating at all like a lot of other shops I’ve been to. Big D did my tattoo and I absolutely adore it and did an amazing clean job on it . The shop was a decent size, i didn’t wait too long as a walk in and prices are very competitive!Visit this shop you won’t regret it !

DO. NOT. GO. HERE. I went here with two other friends and right off the bat the staff kept staring at us and giving dirty looks. Once we got signed in and sat down it was about 8:10pm however we did not get any service until 9:19pm. We had to wait for our piercer (Rose) to arrive because our original piercer left. As we sat people came in about half an hour after us to get pierced and were taken up and done within 20 minutes. Eventually Rose arrived and we went up with him and I got my third lobe done. My pain tolerance is nothing and when I jumped and said ow he was very snippy and asked me what ow is because it is only a lobe while rolling his eyes. One of my friends who was getting her septum was told that a septum piercing would hurt a lot and did it without really planning out where to place it. I’ve checked with multiple other professionals and a septum should NOT hurt and should only be done on the soft part of your nose, so it needs to be placed correctly. We found out after we left that he pierced downward along her nose, causing immense pain. We had to take it out and almost went to the ER because of it being done so so so wrong. We later reached out to him to get a refund for the work and he said he does not do refunds but can re pierce it, you can see why we would decide against him ever piercing us again. I will say again, DO NOT GO HERE IT IS NOT WORTH IT.

Walked in on a whim to get a simple tattoo of music notes since I was in Music city. From the moment we walked in the door we were welcomed and everyone was friendly. Ryan was my artist and he was fantastic. Beautiful lines and excellent touch. He was quick and made sure everything was perfect before I left. Everyone in the shop was friendly and joking around with us. It was an all around wonderful experience!

I walked in with a friend for a last min appt about an hour before they closed and they quickly accommodated us. I am so happy with my tattoo and piercings I plan to go back tomorrow for some more work! Highly recommend!!! As a nurse I take cleanliness seriously and this place was clean! 5 stars all the way!

I walked in afraid to get my second and third holes done on my ear lobes, but I was quickly helped and the artist was so kind and understanding and walked me through what he was doing. He also redid the placement more than once, which was so kind. The studio is so clean and well organized as well! Very reasonable pricing as well. Will definitely stop back the next time Im in Nashville!

Im sad to say I dont recall my artists name but he was amazing! I came in at 8:30 pm on a Friday night while visiting Nashville, with a drawing my daughter did. I asked if he could do it and he was very friendly and the price was great, he did exactly what I asked and more. He kept the drawing true to the original with a few minor tweaks. Definitely would recommend this shop on your way downtown.

Artists was talking about selling fetnol and seemed to be on it as well, artist was Brandon so just be careful. wouldn’t put a penny size tattoo were I wanted it for 80$ supper unprofessional and dirty. From someone who is covered in professional. Tattoos it was one of the worst tattoo experiences that I have had even for being out of town.

Walked in on my last day of my Nashville visit. Wanted a small wildflower piece on my wrist. Jarod did such a great job, and he made everything so easy. He sketched it out right on my arm, and worked with me while I decided exactly where I wanted it.Tat turned out great, it was exactly what I wanted and everyone loves it! The shop was great, and the people were very friendly. In and out in 30 minutes, and had no complaints. Will definitely be back when I come back to Nashville!

I was in Nashville last week, visiting a friend who lives there, and we decided spontaneously to get tattoos! We walked in, no appointment, and asked if they could do two very small tattoos (we got them on our wrists). They were simple tattoos but they turned out fabulously! It was my first, and they made me feel incredibly comfortable. It was a really great experience. Not only did he listen to my idea and bring it to life on paper, he worked me in to his schedule last minute and now I have a beautiful piece of art in tribute to a recently passed friend. I got my septum pierced there and they pierced it incorrectly (outside of the sweet spot with septum piercings). I have to take it out and let it heal and then re-pierce it so I can stretch it. Very upset. This is one of my first public reviews on the internet... I dont leave bad reviews. Please dont get a septum piercing here.

Great place, great work, super fun staff and great prices! They clearly value their work but are not trying to rob people. We first went to Hart & Huntington a few blocks away and they quoted me $250 for a name tattoo (two of which I already have) AND they told me I couldnt have it the same size as my other 2. ?!?! We walked the 2 blocks up to Nashville Ink and it was so worth it. I got perfectly matching tattoo for a great price and we had a great time laughing with the staff. Great experience!

What a wonderful experience! He did such a great job covering up a tattoo that I hated... can’t remember his name but he was a Hispanic guy who was super nice, and focused on doing my tattoo instead of talking my ear off the entire time! I got my first tattoo here last week and I have no regrets! I had actually first gone to a different place, Electric Hand in East Nashville, and the person at Electric Hand wasnt able to do exactly what I wanted and seemed a bit annoyed that I was super picky. Eventually I left because I didnt feel comfortable getting my tattoo from someone that didnt seem excited that I was there wanting his business. Then I went to Nashville Ink and immediately felt more comfortable! The staff was super friendly and actually seemed excited to give me a tattoo.. oh and they also were able to give me exactly what I wanted! I had a great experience and would highly recommend it!

Got my conch pierced here with a friend and we had a pretty good experience! The girl was a little grumpy and not so friendly but we joked around with her and eventually she was being more friendly. The options for jewelry were limited but it was fine because I had some jewelry at home from a different piercing place that I was waiting to wear. Overall it was a decent experience. She didn’t make us feel as comfortable as we would have liked but it was okay! Our piercings healed well

I went to Nashville Ink for my 21st birthday to get my third tattoo. My sister, both of my roommates and I all got tattoos and all four of us are insanely pleased! We all did walk ins and they got all four of us in right away. Everyone there was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful and the place was very clean. My roommates both got piercings, as well and both were very happy with them.I had Danny as my artist and he was great. I brought in a really crappy sketch of my design and he took that and turned it into exactly what I wanted. He was awesome at explaining which parts of my design wouldnt make sense in the final tattoo and helped me decide other ways to do it. It turned out beautifully. Im planning on going back to get the color finished and, over the next couple of years, have Danny incorporate my tattoo into a sleeve.

My best friend & I were in town and wanted tattoos. I am beyond happy and glad we stumbled upon Nashville ink. The staff was SO nice, very welcoming and made us feel comfortable from the start. Jesse, who did my small tatt on my side was amazing. The equipment they use was the best/least painful tattoo I’ve ever had (I have 8 tattoos in various places). I almost considered getting my other ones done here that day because of how painless that needle was! Clean studio, showed me the new unopened needle he was going to use on me. awesome experience , check them out you won’t regret it!

The man who did my helix piercings (I got both ears done.) was incredibly patient. I’m 16 with a low pain tolerance, and got very anxious, but the man doing my piercings continued trying to get the piercing in. Overall, I had a very good experience. Many thanks to everyone that was working!

My 19 year old son wanted me to get a second tattoo with him. We were walk ins at Nashville Ink after reading reviews. Rose was at the front desk. He was friendly and helpful. He drew up what I wanted and got me in next. My son had his done by another employee. Both did a great job and explained how to take care of the tattoo since it had been awhile since my 1st one. Both my son and I left happy and had a great experience. We went on a Monday around 1:30pm.

My husband and I both came Nashville Ink and got tattoos!! They did amazing work!!! I had Rose do mine and he did amazing work!!! We will 100% be back we have already started planning next years trip to Nashville!!! :) thank you Rose for my amazing turtle / flower tattoo!!! I love love love my tattoo!!!

Super clean and inviting environment. I don’t remember my artist’s names but he was rocking a dope mustache and a trucker hat. He worked with me to get exactly what I wanted. I got a minimalistic match on my finger. He ended up drawing the stencil free hand on my finger. Lots of raw talent in this studio. They also take walk-ins until 12pm for sure on Friday nights (and maybe the rest of the weekend?) which is great if you’re only there for a weekend and want to get a piercing or ink. I was in and out of there within 30 minutes. Fastest walk-in ever!

My sister and I wanted matching tattoos... We happened upon this great spot. We walked in and were immediately greeted and helped. This is one of the cleanest shops I have been in. Great music and atmosphere and great personalities from the staff. We are from NY and VA and if and when we come back and want another TAT to commemorate our visit, this is where we will come. Thank you for the memories!!!

Went in for a piercing a month and a half ago. The piercer was rushing me so she could leave. She did not walk me through the process and gave me a crooked piercing because she was going so fast. Would not recommend at all for piercings.

Really enjoyed my experience here! Nice, clean, and very reasonably priced...especially compared to the local competition. Was my first tattoo and my husband and I both got one. We will come back for more! Back for his second and my third from Rob this year. They look great! Thanks!

My family and I were visiting Nashville from out of state, and stopped in here on a Friday to ask about a Saturday appointment. They let us know they take walk-ins all day Saturday, and took the time to look at pictures of the work we wanted to give us all a quote on prices. Cost was extremely reasonable, especially for a shop in a touristy spot. When we came back Saturday they had three artists available and got right to work on drawing out our pieces so they could take all three of us at the same time. My artist, Ryan, was awesome - he was a guest at the shop and was a great guy to talk to. He had some really cool stories, and made me feel really relaxed. He does beautiful work and I couldnt be happier - he took the drawing I did and made it into a perfect piece thats exactly what I wanted! The shop was clean and you could tell everyone there really cared about their work and their customers. I would highly recommend, and will gladly go back next time Im in town - overall amazing shop, gorgeous work, and badass people!

Excellent service for an impromptu tattoo decision! I’d 100% go back again! We had a group of 5 stop in one day and then a group of 3 stop in the next day. Tattooed were done phenomenally well! I recommend!

I LOVE YALLThe girl up front I totally forget her name but we were both from Florida and she was so sweet and professional considering the place seemed to be constantly busy. And to the guy who did me and my best friends matching tattoos, daddy T? P? Anyways he was cool as hell too and did an awesome job on our tattoos. If I ever go back to Nashville, I’ll be stopping by again for who knows what

We walked in at 9:00 for 4 small tattoos. And they got us in within 30 minutes. Staff was friendly. Wade did ours. He was a pretty cool dude. It was very clean. And great tattoos!!

Visiting Nashville from Texas & I honestly don’t understand why these guys have as many bad reviews as they do. I went to H&H on 2nd before this place & they were 3x the cost, not to mention pretty pretentious. Jarod gave me a tattoo & designed it better than I could’ve imagined. His quality of work is great & he’s a got a good bedside manner. Will be back.

My wife and I were on vacation and decided to get tattoos of our girls names and initials. It was the first tattoo for both of us and my wife was certainly nervous. They were so friendly and patient with her and let her move at her own pace, before she knew it it was done, and not nearly as painful as she thought! We are both very happy with the tattoos we got at Nashville Ink and would recommend them to anyone, especially first timers!!!!

We had an amazing experience at Nashville Ink. There was a group of 4 of us who wanted to all get tattooed together, and they were beyond accommodating being walk in customers! Tim was very receptive to our idea and did an awesome job with the design. Jesse and Tim both tattooed our group and we have nothing but positive things to share about both of them. I chose this place from good reviews for my first tattoo and everything made the experience so much more important to me. the service was wonderful and quick. they made sure the pain was tolerable and honestly it was even easier than that. he didnt waste any time but made sure i was comfortable. im incredibly grateful to have happened upon Nashville Ink. i would recommend it to anyone, for a first or not !!

I came in between rushes on a Saturday and was able to very quickly get what I wanted. It was a simple symbol from a Podcast I listen to (My Brother, My Brother, and Me), and everyone there was very friendly. It was my first tattoo and they were able to give me clear expectations of what the tattoo would be like, and made sure it was the exact size that I wanted.If you’re new in town like I was, looking for a tattoo, and want a chill, laid back atmosphere - hit these guys up! Also, I can’t recommend the ointment they sell highly enough. Smells great, and seems to be fairly high quality stuff.

I got my third tattoo and first piercing here, with my best friend. My experience wasnt bad with the tattoo or piercing, though it felt a little rushed. However, my friend wound up paying for titanium jewelry to avoid skin irritation, and the cheap jewelry they gave her instead required a different piercing shop to remove, because they had grown infected and rusty within just a couple of days. Her tattoo was rushed more than mine, and she felt uncared for. I also felt like little more than a number.If youre looking for a quick tattoo on vacation, this is the place to go. But if you want a good tattoo, book one in advance at a non-tourist shop.

My friend & I got a tattoo by Jason rose. It was very quick , no wait. They had a good amount of staff. I liked the layout of the shop. It was very clean. We left happy 😊

We visited Nashville knowing we wanted to get some tattoos. The plan was to check out a few and get a feel for them before making a decision. 1st in the list was Nashville Ink. We arrived late at night and there were a few artists hanging out. We met Jarrod and Matt. They were funny and approachable and had a really good knowledge base about Nashville in general, although we heard they were both featured artists at the shop. We had such a good rapport with them that we decided right then that we would be back the following day for our ink. My husband was tattooed by Rob (his first tattoo) and I was tattooed by Jarrod. We both LOVE our ink and both artists were integral in the artistic design of our tattoos. This place is great, fun and really excellently knowledgeable. We will be back

Awesome experience. My friend and I made a spur of the moment decision to get matching tattoos that we had been discussing for years - walked into the shop without an appt and they did an amazing job creating the art we wanted. It’s been a week now and my tattoo (on the back of my neck) is completely healed and needs no touch up whatsoever. Highly recommend this place.

Jared took great care in not only the idea for the design but colors also. It’s only been three weeks and I’ve been super happy with his work. It’s healing nicely, the colors are beautiful. The shop took us day of and were super fun. I would highly recommend working with them!

I decided last minute to get a tattoo Ive been planning for months. Timing just felt right. I chose Nashville ink because it had the best average of reviews I had found. When I got there I was treated with so much respect and kindness and nice conversation, followed by quick and good service. I felt safe and I trusted my artist.

We had an awesome experience with everyone in the shop, the artist were kind and talented. Nashville Ink specializes in detailed work and small tattoos or lines so when I took in handwriting and asked for additional small text they were able to do it with no problem! Overall a great experience with a really reasonable shop minimum.

I was a Sunday walk in right when they opened. I wanted a custom tattoo, kinda photo realism, of my late grandpas hand made and hand painted fishing lures with his name and dates. I expected to wait a while, but Rob was able to get it drawn up pretty quickly. That actually made me a little nervous, but that was completely unfounded. Rob and I discussed my options, he listened to my concerns, and took into account what I wanted in addition to what he knew would look good. I know youre supposed to trust your artist to tell you what will and wont work, and Im glad I did. My tattoo is so beautiful that it made me tear up a little, knowing my grandpa would love it. Its the perfect memorial tattoo. I wanted two lures, but we decided to just do one that day with his name and come back later so he could really have time to draw out the details of the second and put the dates with it to make them interconnected. I cant wait to go back. I cant say enough good things about these guys.

Very disrespectful of anyone’s time but their own! Wasted over 4 hours of our vacation to be ignored straight to our faces. Never ever give this place business too many other options in the area with respectful artists. This place is a tourist trap.

Tim did a walk in for me and I am amazed at the attention and information he gave me! He was helpful in picking exactly what I wanted, and also was always explaining what he was doing with a good attitude--not condescending, super friendly!!! He was so great and gentle too. Light handed and reassured me that I could feel free to move if I needed to. He explained the machine he used and the bandage after. Awesome guy, great attention to me as a customer. Go see him if you can!! Book an appointment, I was super lucky to snag him when someone cancelled for the afternoon. Also, ask to see his other work!!!
