My sister brought me here to get my nose pierced for my birthday and I had a fantastic experience. Greg was super professional and clearly knows what he is doing — he helped me find the best placement of the piercing for a nose ring, explained the whole process, and even told me to come back so he could switch out the piercing once it was ready for a ring. I have gotten a few piercings from Greg and just got another two recently. He is extremely throughout in explaining the procedure and aftercare. Every thing is very very clean. He takes a lot of time making sure the piercings are positioned perfectly and that you like where they are.

My boyfriend and I both got pierced by Greg and it was a great experience. He communicated throughout the whole process and gave us exactly what we wanted. He was very informative about the after care instructions and made sure we knew how to contact him if there were any issues. We drove over a hour to meet with him and would gladly do it again. Insane, I don’t know how else to describe it!! I got my ears pierced here in June with my cousin! He talked us through the whole process and even gave me a stress ball to squeeze while piercing! My friends are all astonished too! They healed so fast and so well everyone can’t believe it’s only been around 6 months! It was such an easy process! They made sure the earrings were placed precisely and used a surgically sharp needle. Used titanium as the starter earings which was amazing and gave us such good maintenance instructions. I will definitely come back for a second piercing soon. Just amazing!

I’ve gone to Stix N Studz three times now, once for a septum piercing, once for a nostril piercing and another time to get jewelry replaced after snagging a piercing and reopening the wound. Each time it has been incredibly professional and Greg has been super nice and knowledgeable. After getting a daith piercing from another shop (that didn’t heal so well) he gave me new cleaning solution and several tips that have drastically improved the healing process. I’ve never had a bad experience there and will not get pierced anywhere else!

Will never trust anyone else to do my piercings! Greg is also so accommodating and willing to make time for us. He genuinely cares so much about the wellbeing of all his customers and always makes sure were happy and feel good about our piercings. I got my septum done here and had a great experience with Greg!!! very experienced with his work and accommodated for my needs. I felt comfortable throughout the whole process, as he explained what he was doing, and worked smoothly and confidently. The piercing itself turned out great too! He told me how it would look before hand and made sure I was fine with it all. He also hooked me up with specific after piercing solution to clean with, so no need to buy saline!

Greg is the best and cleanest piercer i have ever been to. my friend and i consistently make the 30 minute drive to his studio just because his service is so great. he provides you with a way to contact him if anything is wrong with your piercing (even though it’s never his fault) and always makes time to do little things like help with cleaning and switch out jewelry. greg is so incredibly kind and just an all around sweet person. i trust him with all my piercings and wouldn’t dream of getting pierced anywhere else!

I went and got my cartilage and second hole on my lobes re-pierced and had a wonderful experience! Greg did a fantastic job and made sure the piercings were placed evenly! Everything was clean and prepackaged, he wore gloves, and he made sure to tell me how to properly do after care. He also asked me to return in two weeks to make sure everything is healing properly, which I greatly appreciate! Got my nipples re-pierced here by Greg today! I have nothing but good things to say about this piercing shop. I just got my second piercing done here and it was painless and easy. The owner who is the piercer was so diligent about placement and provided me with all the aftercare knowledge I needed. I have a low pain tolerance so I was a tad nervous but he kept talking about things and calmed me down in a mater of mins, I was in and out in like 15 mins with my friend who also got pierced. Both guys in the shop we’re welcoming and funny as all hell. Would recommend!

I got two earlobe piercings on my left year and the process was pretty easy. Greg is chill. I truly appreciate him taking the time to position the piercings correctly and choosing the right piercing and gauge for the location. Ive had bad experience with another piercer, who rushed and didnt bother using the right piercing for the helix piercing and I had so much struggle with the healing.Greg took time, checked it many times, had me and my friend check it too, before piercing. My friend got her septum pierced tonight and Greg was amazing!!! He has done my nose as well and just as easy, quick, and professional. He took her as a walk in last minute but did a great job! So quick she didn’t even flinch, and was perfectly symmetrical!

The space was small but very clean and it was comfortable. He gave super clear instructions for at home care and how to properly clean it while it heals. I contemplated getting my nose pierced for quite some time. I read reviews to Stix and Studz and knew when it was time to bite the bullet, this is where I was going! Greg was friendly on the phone when I called to make and appointment and was just as friendly in person! He’s experienced and knowledgeable which made my experience positive and uneventful! I went in for an adjustment a couple weeks later and he handled it quickly and efficiently.I would recommend this place for sure!

Greg was awesome. I got my first piercing ever in my ear lobes and he did such a good job and made me feel so comfortable that I got my belly button as well on the same visit!! I’ll definitely be back soon. I would suggest if you’re looking for the cleanest and most chill place in RI.

I got my nose pierced by greg about year ago, and have never had any issues with the healing process! the experience was very comfortable, he suggested the placement for it and it came out really good! healed great, and was provided with cleaning solution on the way out. i just came back today to switch to a gold stud, and greg changed, cut, and adjusted the piercing free of charge, as well as gave me more cleaning solution (despite me saying i didn’t mind paying at ALL)!! he also slid me a few stix n studs stickers for my friends and i! i really appreciated it, greg is a great piercer and always creates a comfortable environment for customers.

I came into Stix n Studz with an unusual request - needed some body piercings reinserted after they were pulled during a surgery. The experience was great from start to finish. It was easy to make an appt, they took me in right on time, and Greg was wonderful - quick, but gentle and v. conscious of safety and sterility. Youre in good hands at Stix n Studz!

Wish I could give less than one star. There were so many red flags here. first of all, he told a girl who came in with an infected piercing (who he had previously pierced) that she needed to use HYDROGEN PEROXIDE! So extremely bad for piercings. Any person would know not to use this. during both me and my friends appointment he touched his phone WITH GLOVES ON, and then proceeded to touch his equipent with those same gloves! honestly surprised my piercing isnt infected yet. One of my piercings is crooked and not pierced correctly. My friend had to go back because her ball wasnt even screwed on all the way, and piercing was extremely swollen. when she came back to see him, he told her that it was because of her hair dye (she dint even dye her hair), made it feel like the swelling was all her fault, and then told her to use Hydrogen peroxide AGAIN. At the end of this he gave us a bottle with no ingredient list on it and told us to clean our piercings with it. Yeah right. We threw it away immediately. DO NOT GO HERE.

Couldnt have asked for a better experience with Greg when he pierced my nose. Was very helpful and generous, and calmed my nerves when I came in. Hes extremely knowledgable and maintains a clean establishment. Definitely going back in the future!!!

Stix N Studz is great! I had a piercing emergency -- no details, but I was freaking out -- and I went in, with no appointment or anything. They helped me out right away, and were so kind and reassuring. Greg (I think) handled the situation and was definitely like Piercing Dad -- ok, lets get this fixed, heres what were going to do and it was a huge relief. I will definitely be going back in the future!

I really enjoy the staff at High Hopes/Stix and Studs. Ive done the majority of my piercings with their main piercer and he always takes his time and hes very gentle. I got my rook and my industrial done the other day and I couldnt be more happy with the results. I originally thought about getting my daith done but he assured me that because I have a thicker ear the daith may be unsafer to do and I may be at higher risk of infection. This was very good information for me to know. Hes also very honest and wasnt afraid to tell me that my piercings were in sensitive places and that theyd probably hurt. My rook piercing was bleeding badly and it got on my shirt, I told him it was fine, but he cleaned the blood stain off at the store which was very nice. Id recommend Stix and Studz to anyone looking for some cool new piercings. The service is pleasant from beginning to end and all of the staff is friendly. No complaints about this experience. I had my second and my third lobe piercings done here and both experiences have been terrific! It’s super clean and professional; they always take the time needed to make sure the placements of the piercings are right! Would totally recommend to anyone looking to get ear piercings done!

Greg probably just saved my ear. I had a keloid from a helix piercing I got about 9 months ago and Greg worked some strange magic and my ear looks—and feels—brand new. (I’m sure it was all normal practices, but the speed at which the keloid shrunk made it seem like magic was performed.) He cares about your healing process and develops an aftercare program with you because he knows the best way to run a business is to take care of your customers. His pricing is fair and competitive but also very generous; the client before me got a piercing for her birthday and he gave her a small bday discount. If you find yourself on Broadway and want to get a piercing, Stix N Studz is the only place to go.

Got both of my lobes pierced to prepare for gauges, and Greg did a fantastic job. Professional and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend going to High Hopes/Stix and Studz!

I don’t leave reviews often, and not because businesses aren’t worthy, I’m just so busy that once I walk away my mind is already off in the clouds trying to figure out what other task I need to tackle. Case and point, I walked in here quickly on my way to get groceries trying to get my husband a septum ring because his ball fell off and he didn’t want it to close. I interrupted Greg to ask if they changed out piercings because my nose was super unhappy. He looked at it and immediately asked to take care of it for me. He got rid of my keloid and changed out my I’ll fitting stud from another shop. He didn’t judge or bash the previous establishment I went to (or me for going there) and treated me as if I was his client all along. Super thorough about after care and how to prevent what I had already gone through. He also asked to follow up which no piercer has ever done, talk about extra mile! I’ll be going back for any future piercings.
