My daughter and I just went and got our second piercing done on our ears. We had Alysa the store manager do them and she was great! She was so fun to chat with and so confident in what she was doing! We love how they turned out!

Stephenie was amazing. She helped re-open one of the holes for my wifes bar that she bought. She did a great job and was super friendly. Shes a keeper!

Would not recommend taking your kids here. They screwed up my daughter’s earring so bad the back was sticking out the bottom of her ear. The manager wouldn’t even fix it for us unless we payed them again. (Because she started crying the second time) well she wouldn’t have been crying if they did it right the first time. Will not be coming back.

Dont waste your money on the pendants they are NOT worth it I tried pawning mine and they only offer me $5 cause its gold plated and only wanted the silver under and the diamonds are way too small to even measure so its not worth it all

Horrible. We took our daughter there on Saturday 6/24/2023 around 11:30am for her first ear piercing. There was a lady working who wouldnt even acknowledge our existence, wish I would have got her name. After standing there for at least 10 minutes looking at earrings, we had to get the ladys attention and tell her we were ready. She said she had no time, she had to go to the bank, do inventory, blah blah, every excuse just to not help us. We said fine and went down to Claires where we had much better service. They lost a sale, the lady was rude, horrible place.

They where great! They helped me pick out my earrings and explained the process of the piercing. They were so nice and cheerful, definitely recommended especially for children. They use a piercing gun that comes straight out of the package (one time use). My piercer was Melissa and she was wonderful! Definitely highly recommend.

My experience at Pagoda was great! I had so many questions since I was getting my ear pierced for the first time. I was carefully taught on how to take care of my piercing and things to be aware of.Sabrina, the person who attended me, was knowledgeable and very helpful. She showed me around their inventory and was glad to answer all of my questions; she was very patient. She made me feel calm through the piercing process, which was new to me.Sabrina showed great patience and friendliness towards her customers, I highly recommend going with her!P.S. I was given good promotions and offers!

I recently took my Four Year Old to get her ears repierced. It did not go well. I had left a poor review for the young lady who had done one ear (couldnt even do both) She was refusing to pierce her when clearly my daughter was refusing her. She kept her arms folded and would not attempt to help me console her. Her whole energy was making me uneasy, I could just imagine how she was making a kid feel. I was not happy whatsoever. Shortly after my poor review, a lady named Jessica called me to apologize and offer her expertise. I was hesitant due to the last appointment. However, just from our phone call I could tell she was more of a people person, on top of that she has had ten plus years of experience.I brought my child into the store to get her second year pierced. I have never been in so much AWE in my life. Jessica was amazing, patient and had the most beautiful glow about her. Truly, she was made to work in Customer Service. I say that as I also work in Customer Service/Interview people to join our company. She is the pure example of who I would want working with me.Right after Jessica pierced my daughters ear, she was happy, loved my two earrings and could not stop smiling.If it werent for Jessica reaching out to me to give it a shot, I would have either kept the one earring look or had taken it out, until we could get two piercers.I cannot stress this enough, I am overall truly impressed with Jessica and her Crew in the Ogden mall.If you can, please go to any of the Girls at the Ogden location rather than the Layton. Its worth the travel.

Got my ears pierced on June 11, 2021 by Jessica! Shes so kind and amazing! She didnt just talk to me employee to customer but as person to person! I feel so blessed she was working with me that day because I was extremely nervous but shes SO EASY TO TALK TOO and will DEFINITELY calm your nerves!!! What a wonderful lady ❣️ THANK YOU YESSICA

Kai pierced me and my friends 2nd and 3rd piercings. She was so lovely, she was thorough and knew what she was doing. She was clean and redid our marker dots several times to make sure they were perfect and we loved the placement. As for the negative reviews I’m seeing, just be respectful, don’t wear huge earrings in. Also, they work in a mall in the middle of an isle, so if they don’t acknowledge you at first cut them some slack people probably come up to glance and then leave all the time. And if your child is crying, these employees are piercers for people of all ages, it’s not their job to stop your kid from freaking out, that is your job. The employees are understanding and kind, but they can only do so much before it’s dangerous for them to pierce a wiggly screaming kid.

Jessica was so fun to work with. Totally knowledgeable, made us feel very comfortable, and she is so obviously very good with kids. My 6 year old got her first ear piercing today and it was super smooth and tear-free!

We took our two young girls to get their ears pierced today at the Piercing Pagoda in the Newgate Mall and the experience was nothing but awesome. I spoke with Jessica on the phone about appointments and not only was she kind, she was upbeat and told us how excited she was to work with us. She helped us pick the right studs for the girls and was so positive about the experience, they couldnt help but be excited. She explained everything she was doing to the girls and took extra time to make sure she made them look right. You can tell that she really loves her job and is very knowledgeable about what she does. Honestly, she was all that we could have asked for both professionally and personally. I cant recommend her enough - Jessica is your gal if you are looking for a piercing. Highly recommended for little girls and anxious moms.The Pogoda itself was nice as well - everyone was masked and safe and everything was clean and sterile. They did a great job.

Just wanted to get on here and say that the store manager, Jessica, is my favorite! She listened and did my piercings exactly as I wanted even though I was being super stubborn. I have had problems with cartilage piercings in the past, but the ones Jessica did for me have had 0 issues and look so good! I will only go back to Jessica when I get more piercings in the future. I would recommend her to everyone. Give her a raise. :)

I’ve had multiple piercings done here in the last year and my experience was beyond great both times! Jessica has done all of them and she is AMAZING!! Jessica/Ogden location, is an outstanding customer service oriented young lady. She pierced my granddaughter’s ear after a bad experience at another location. She was kind, gentle and beyond patient. Was looking around for a place to get a piercing and just happened to stumble upon this place. I soon figured out that I came to the right place. I walked up not knowing what I needed because this would be my first piercing and the manager Jessica was awesome! She was so helpful and very friendly. She made my experience great and I had 100% confidence in her. The process was quick and easy and I would definitely recommend all of my friends to come see Jessica.

I came here to pierce my 5 month old daughters ears and it was a lady named Jessica that pierced them. She was nothing short of awesome and professional. I am so happy with her ear piercings they are straight ( got them perfect on a moving baby) she had reassured me that she had been doing piercings for 8 years and she was sooo considerate and patient, she really took her time I appreciate her and thank you for caring for my little baby girl!

I would not recommend going here to get your ears pierced. My piercing ended up crooked and not in the right spot and the associate offered a refund if I wasnt happy. When I did decide that it would be best to get a refund because I was not happy they told me in no uncertain terms that that would never happen. Even if that is your policy, you should honor what an employee promised. They also use cheap butterfly backs for cartilage and dont have a great selection of earrings.

I used to love come to Pagoda , but the last two time I had , the two lady’s that were working there have a Very bad actitud ,just finding excuses to show what I ask for , than today I ask one of them to show me a necklaces and she was just talking that this and that just because she didn’t want to work but talk to the other coworker , Thani ask to show me an other necklace and took her 5 minutes because they were having they conversation, really sad because Jessica is such a amazing person and take care of the costumer , but this two employees are very dissatisfied costumer service , I ask if they can do the piercing on my daughter and one of them said “oh oh I think we have an appointment coming right, normally you don’t need one but today we have one , that’s ridiculous and than she said and we closed in 30 minutes , sorry ,Very poor costumer service and hope Jessica get this review because when I talk to her she will know I had been they costumer for many years ,The both lady’s work on last and this Tuesday, will never go again and will look forward to talk to Jessica

Lady piercing our ears mistaked me as my daughters friend and was giving me attitude when I asked questions about other earrings for my daughter other than the ones the lady was choosing. She asked if I was questioning her experience and was being a little confrontational. After she asked me for my ID and then asked for my daughters I told her she is my daughter and she had to look at my birthday and then look at us. Then she apologized for giving me attitude.... After the fact. Super unprofessional, and I thought it was weird how she kept on telling me she has over 10 yrs experience like I needed to be convinced. I will be driving to layton mall pagoda before this location from now on.

We got our 5 month olds ears pierced here by Nic. He was incredibly kind, great with our daughter, and thorough. Very very happy!

I came in Saturday night. There were two girls working and one was busy but the other lady was not busy I waited for about 30 minutes while one of the girls was piercing a boys ear and the other girl was not doing anything at all. She literally was staring at the counter top. I had to wait for the other girl Roxanne to finish piercing the young mans ears before I could get help. Roxana was amazing. I gave 3 because of her but the other girl 0 stars.

I purchased two nose piercings about 3 months ago, returned one of them the next day because I didn’t really like it never opened it also had my receipt and everything. I went in they processed the return, I also noticed they had charged me extra for one of the piercings the manager Jessica said I should get my refund in about 3-4 business days it’s been about 3 months and still fighting for my refund. They tell me different information every time I call or go to the store directly. They are no help and tell me “ they can’t do anything for me. “ very frustrating having to go back and forth and getting absolutely no help. Never shopping there again.

The manager helped me out, Breana is so great to work with! I came in looking for a simple pair of earrings and she went above and beyond. Long story short me and my daughter have matching pairs and I couldn’t be more happy with how we were treated. Go here before anywhere else and talk to Breana!

5 stars for 5 star service. Jessica is the piercing queen! She explained everything, made it a fun and exciting experience. Take the time to talk to her if you’re getting your ears pierced. We’ll never go to Claire’s again.

I took my 4 month old baby there because I thought they would have a little more expertise than going to Claire’s. They ended up missing my baby’s ear on one side but still drawing blood where the gun pinched her ear. I called to let them know how bad of an experience we had and was told she’d ‘heal up where she got pinched’. So unprofessional! When I asked to speak to a mandager I was told that was the manager. Not ok. It was a big deal for me to trust them with my baby and i so regret taking her there.

I went In about a month ago and I was looking at some earrings when the store manager Jessica took about 5 minutes to acknowledge me and when she realized that I was there we started talking about the earrings then she kept telling me to get the 14 karat gold ones because the stainless is cheap I am very allergic to gold and I told her that about 3 times and she kept repeating the same thing telling me to buy the 14 karat gold. This is the reason why I shop at Layton and I drive from Ogden to Layton now because I hate running into her.

Jasmine was so great. I wasnt going to buy anything and she convinced me of the deals. Once I heard buy one get one I wanted to buy the whole store. Great customer service! Will definitely be a repeat customer.

Went to get my ear pierced for the first time and Jessica A Leatham helped me out. She was very nice, personable, and helped with and overall awesome experience. Definitely recommend.

I usually get my cartilage done at claries, but i decided to give this place a try, seeing as the first lady i talked to was very sweet and seemed to know what she was doing. Well when i went back it was some other lady, and she did horrible. She had me sit down and didnt even say anything just shot my ear, and said youre done. Uh ok? i also told her I had to have an earring with out Nickel, she stated that ALL of their jewelry is Nickel free. Which is not true at all. Anyways, I kept my hair away from my ear and kept it very clean and it burned shortly after she had pierced it. I have NEVER had that problem with a cartilage before...EVER. Well, I waited and waited for the redness and swelling and burning to go down. 5 days later I couldnt handle it anymore and had to take the earring out. Again I have had my other side and this same side done before at Claires and NEVER had a problem. I knew my ear wasnt infected, not with how clean i had been keeping it. Come to find out, It was an allergic reaction to the NICKEL that was in the EARRING that she used. Go figure. I am still pretty livid, because I just wasted money to have this done and she did a crap job. Horrible customer service first off, and then to misinform me and tell me all the jewelry was Nickel free when clearly it was NOT, because i had an allergic reaction to the stupid earring. I will never go here again and i will NEVER buy any jewelry from them again. EVER.

I literally walked by this in the mall. Didnt stop there. Dont really believe in piercing, personally. It only gets three stars because although the name is catchy, its not actually a Pagoda - give me the right shape and Ill upgrade your rating, you filthy animals!

Took my daughter in to get her ears repierced because her previous piercing from clairs was crooked. After the healing process we tried to put in a new pair of earrings and this piercing was even worse than before.

I took my 2 year old daughter her to get her ears pierced. They ladies there were fantastic! Very clean and professional. Her ears are healing very nicely.

They do not replace lost items even when you get inusrnace there only down side of their business

Worst place ever, will never come here again! The woman who works there called me stupid because I wanted to get rid of my warranty on it. I understand they know what they’re doing but no need to be rude and unethical about it! Never retuning

I was in the other day and I was looking at this gorgeous gold chain and I was going to get it but then the manager started yelling at one of her employees. Honestly I’m really disappointed in the customer service from the manager that is no way to talk to the employees. I didn’t get the necklace.

They moved out of Layton hills mall and I’ve had 2 broken jewelry pieces and now I have to go to Ogden Utah or slc utah. Don’t buy from them. Not very good

A decent place to get regular ear piercings but do not get 2nd, 3rds, cartilage, etc done here. They do not have proper training for those piercings.
