I had the idea of representing my military service along with where I went the day I proposed to my now wife. Met with David after speaking with Chris and I couldn’t have asked for a better artist to create what he did. I love it, everyone who I know who has seen it, loves it. It is truly the best tattoo I have so far.

Wanted to get my first professional tattoo in order to cover up some scarring on my leg. Savage Tattoo set me up with a consultation with David, and I couldnt be happier that they did! I had ideas and thoughts of what I wanted, but no rock solid plan. David happens to be a very talented artist, so he listened to my needs, viewed a few pictures I liked as inspiration, and then he pulled out some markers and created an original hand-drawn design right there on my leg. He also hand-drew a stencil lotus for my foot, and then freestyled with the tattoo machine to make it look more masculine(with my permission). First and foremost, I love my tattoos! Secondly, David and I spoke quite a bit, and he really takes pride in the professionalism and level of quality and care that he provides to his clients. He cares about us and his work, and for all these reasons, Ive already booked my second appointment with him to start work on my other leg. Ill only trust David with my future ink, but every other artist at Savage Tattoo was super friendly and polite, and Im sure they are all great as well!

I was able to meet and get tattooed by a talented artist who was able to make my first tattoos look how I wanted it to look like. Hes new to Savage tattoo but hes been tattooing for awhile. Joe did such an amazing job! I have an allergy that is in most things and it was nice that he took some of his time to research and make sure I wouldnt have a reaction to the ink or the cleaning supplies. He had wonderful communication and made sure I was always comfortable. Joe did a fantastic job!

David was awesome! This was my first tattoo and he made it an amazing experience! He was super easy going when it came to collaborating the idea. He was great about communicating throughout the process, a true professional! And the work speaks for itself. They are pushy with setting appointments. Then they spam your email and texts until you block or unsubscribe.I paid 138 for touch up insurance. then Jimmy Vegas the artist who did an “OK” job left the state. Blaming the people here. Maybe it’s because he talks so much trash and he can’t back up his ego.My tat got infected too. I’m not a noob or a dirty ass idiot. I followed directions. I also know and practice proper after care. I have plenty of tat’s and piercings that never got supper irritated or inflamed let alone infected to the point I had to get antibiotics.With so many options in Utah to get ink done keep looking. There are better and less obnoxious studios whose artists are established and they don’t have to spam for business.After this experience I don’t want to go to Savage for some Rando to do my touch up. Let alone another tattoo.

This shop took great care of me. They helped me make amends to myself and helped transform a tattoo that caused a good amount of guilt and shame every time I looked at it, into The beautiful symbol that it should be. Now every time I look in the mirror I am proud of what is on my chest. Thank you Eddie and the rest of the team. It was also very chill and everybody was laughing and having a good time. I went to see Joe a couple weeks ago to have a name put on my ankle to match an existing name from my other ankle. He did such a great job! He was friendly and made sure I was comfortable. The tattoo healed up well and he matched it as closely as he could, including the way it sits on my ankle. They look like they were done by the same artist and if the existing tattoo wasnt old enough to be faded it would have looked like they were done together. I love it! It turned out exactly how I wanted it and I will make a point to come back to savage, and Joe, for any future tattoos!

Eddie is amazing! I was really scared because it was my first tattoo and I am so scared of needles but he made me feel comfortable and safe, explained everything and the whole process was really smooth. I didnt even need the numb cream because he was talking to me during the process and made me forgot about the pain. If you want to get your first or another one tattoo, Eddie is the guy!

I got my first tattoo with David and I had the best experience!!I was a little nervous, but David was super friendly, professional (15 years of experience) and was very careful of every detail. This shop is by far the best I’ve ever been in. It’s private and friendly, every staff member I interacted with was helpful and encouraging. I would highly recommend Savage Tattoo for anyone looking to get a tattoo. For my first tattoo I was very nervous, and was scared that the artist would not be able to get my idea across in a tattoo. What’s great about Savage is that not only do you get a consultation to just spill your thoughts out, at the beginning of the session you spend time redesigning the tattoo to make it perfect for you! Savage does tattooing right from consultation to wrapping up your piece. I’ve worked with Mike Ghantt for both my tattoos now and couldn’t be happier with how they turned out and my experience. He’s easy to work with, makes sure you get exactly what you want, and an all around chill dude to sit and chat with for a couple hours. Tons of talent at that shop and a really great experience, so I’d highly recommend them.

I contacted Savage Tattoo to get a memorial piece for my mom who had recently passed away. Chris paired me with Eddie, and I truly couldn’t have been happier. The work he put in to my piece, and how he took all the little parts I sent him and made it all make sense, and the artistic ability it took to create a piece that brought me to tears. This was my first tattoo, and he made me feel so comfortable and welcome as well. I not only want to highlight my artist Spencer (@spinnertattoos) but the entire shop as well.I was really nervous, as anyone getting their first tattoo would be. But add an additional six more in that session and you start thinking to yourself that you’re a little crazy.Throughout the entire afternoon I was there, the process was so comfortable. I didn’t feel like a guest, it felt like I was meant to be there. As my session went on, I was only supported and encouraged by my artist, other staff, and clients. Honestly, the only thing I wish I did was being a movie to watch on my iPad. I didn’t think I was going to be so relaxed. I got a shoulder piece from Eddie I am really happy with how it turned out! I like his attitude he was a cool guy. his work was amazing! It was exactly what I wanted my only critique was the price at first but after I have payed for it I think it was worth it I am so happy with it I definitely think you should spend a lot to get the tattoo you want. It’s going to be on you forever so be willing to get the best!

Savage tattoo has been excellent since the initial contact. I requested a consultation and was contacted by Chris’s within a day. He was awesome and so helpful. He set me up with Mike, who I was not sure about until Chris sent me his instagram link and I saw his art. I met Mike for the consultation and was so impressed! He heard my vision, understood my vision and created an incredible piece!! I have gone back to Mike for 4 additional settings. We completed my 3/4 sleeve and he just started another piece on my other arm. Mike is AMAZING!! He takes my random ideas and turns them into gorgeous art that represents everything I wanted. I have referred my mom and several of my friends to savage tattoo and to Mike!! Recently I went on vacation and a lady was so impressed with my pieces she took pictures. Savage Tattoo provided top notch service. My artist spent almost 40 hours over a 4 day period to complete the work. They took the time to understand the meaning behind each of my tattoo concepts, they brought me in to the design process and authentically cared about my project.I had mine done at the Miami location. I then showed up (back to where I live in Utah) and stopped by their shop to change out my Saniderm. The team there was also, they took care of me right away.Couldn’t be happier with my experience and the piece of art on my arm.

I cant say enough great things about this shop. Ive had 2 from here and completely satisfied with them both! Sheldon was my artist and Im so glad he was. They dont use the rotation system, which is why I continue to go there. This means they get you to the perfect artist for your tattoo. Not just the next artist in the rotation. I dont know about you but if Im spending my time and money on a permanent item on my body, I want someone with experience and who specializes, in the style I want. That way Im never disappointed. NO REGERTS HERE! lol

I had the awesome opportunity to get tattooed by Luie Estrada at Savage Tattoos. The 8-hour session was brutal, but an amazing experience I wouldnt give up for the world. Luie was amazingly talented and knowledgeable He answered all my questions and was super understanding when I needed breaks etc. Hes a beast that was able to accomplish this massive piece in one session. The detail is insane and his color work is the best Ive seen.I highly recommend this shop and Luie to anyone!

Spencer was my artist today he was very helpful throughout the entire process from start to finish. I have other tattoos and I can honestly say for the starting of my anime leg sleeve our first session together was awesome. With it being on my shin he is medium to light handed depending on how well your skin takes ink.he kept me comfortable and i had very little pain. He was very detailed in the drawing and very detailed when laying the ink in. I will definitely be back for more! Looking forward to working with spencer again at savage tattoo.

This shop is hands down the best I’ve been too. When you talk to the manager Chris you feel that you have known each other forever. He sets you up with the right artist for what you want. When your artist contacts you same thing, it’s like your talking to a family member. My artist was Mike and exceeded my expectations by a long shot. Definitely recommend this shop!

Jason and I just completed a sitting for a partial sleeve on my forearm. He has been absolutely amazing to work with! He’s extremely knowledgeable about artistic practices and theories and when I would make suggestions on placement, color or anything(!) he would give me the artistic term for it and support my opinions even though it was his piece. We spent one visit planning the piece and placement (because I’m a control freak), we completed part of it today and we already have our second sitting planned to complete it.I have multiple tattoos from other artists and I can say with surety that this was by FAR a better experience. He was also very easy to talk to and I could SEE how excited and focused he was to work on my tattoo.Update: We never completed the tattoo. I won’t lie, I made my mistakes as a customer, BUT Jason made me feel like he didn’t really care if I was his customer or not. When I had a misunderstanding on time for our second appointment, he never sent a reminder or called/texted to let me know I was late, he just canceled the appointment. I would have gladly paid for the hour I missed and STILL gotten 6-7 hours of time on the tattoo, but instead we had to reschedule for months out.Then, i thought I still had my deposit down, but I apparently didn’t. When I called to verify my appointment a week ahead I was told that my spot had been given to someone else because I didn’t have a deposit. He didn’t try to contact me at all to request the deposit, just gave away my spot and didn’t let me know.The tattoo is beautiful, but I’ll find someone else to complete it who values their business enough to offer communication. I made my mistakes, but they could have been minimized if he had been willing to contact me.

I had Kira finish an existing tattoo about a month ago. I found her work through Instagram and just knew I had to work with her! I had a negative experience with the tattoo artist that started my floral sleeve, and while it was a pretty technically sound piece of art, I just didnt love it. Kira got me really excited at our consultation and that excitement continued into the tattoo session with her. Not only did she give me an amazing experience, but such a beautifully finished work of art as well! Now instead of cringing when people ask me about my tattoo, I am proudly showing it off! I am also thrilled with how well it has healed after a month! I will definitely be going back to her, I need a Kira Teter original!

I came and got a cover up done by Gary and he was amazing he made the appointment and consultation easy and relaxing while making sure I had all the correct information and he had to tattoo over a lot of burn scars and was as gentle as possible and I am in love with the end result I definitely would recommend coming to Gary or at least savage tattoo

After months of research on where to get a tattoo, I decided to reach out to Savage and I was not disappointed. The entire process, from beginning to end, was highly professional. I really appreciated the initial intake call to determine if Savage was right shop for me, and to fit me with an artist that would give me exactly what I wanted. The artists at Savage specialize in various types of ink so you get placed with someone who is an expert in what you are looking for. For me, it was lettering primarily and so Klozr was my guy. My consult with him was super professional and he listened carefully to not only why I wanted a tattoo but what I wanted. There is bit of a wait but I appreciated that too because quality work is worth waiting for, and it gave me time to be certain I wanted to move forward. The day of my appointment, Klozr had artwork prepared, which is a bit unusual, or so I was told, because the artwork is typically prepared right in front of you so ensure its right but he had ideas and wanted to get the design down early. We did tweak the art slightly before getting started. Klozr is super awesome, and I felt really comfortable with him. He took his time to ensure the detail of my tat was on point, and yet he was highly efficient. I felt like I was in and out in no time. His work is true perfection, and I definitely feel like the art was worth the price, which was not unreasonable. And aftercare is a breeze. Thanks Savage and Klozr for a truly awesome experience. I am already thinking about my next tattoo.

I got my first tattoo from Klozr. He was very professional and made me feel comfortable the whole time. Klozr was very understanding when I wanted a certain detail changed. He was great to work with and genuinely cares about the quality of his work. When I was getting wrapped up I began to feel light headed and he took great care of me and made sure I was feeling good before I left. I would recommend him and savage tattoo to anyone.

I inquired on an Instagram post that led me to a link for a free consultation (promo). I received a text and call from the shop manager, Chris, within minutes! After speaking with Chris for 15ish minutes he had me send over some inspiration photos so he could get an idea of the style I was looking for, and pmto pair me with an artist that specializes in the style. Shortly after, he got me scheduled with Mike for my consultation. Mike was so kind and understanding of my situation. This was a special opportunity for me, therefore my tattoo had to be perfect, BUT I didnt know what I wanted it to look like 😬 I just knew what it meant to me. During my consultation I let Mike know that this would be my first tattoo, and that I knew nothing. He assured me that with his 20 years experience that I would be in good hands. Mike asked me to tell my story behind this tattoo, then gave me patience and grace as a stutterd through the tragic story of my brothers death. I was trying to make it clear how much this would mean to me. He thanked me for sharing the details with him, and explained that it is helpful for him to get a better image. He began to give an incredible description of images that were coming to mind and it sounded so beautiful. I knew this would be a good experience. We booked my appointment for as soon as we could and kept in touch with questions and ideas all the way up until today. Today was the day!! I am so glad I chose Savage tattoo. I got to meet almost all the artists and the owner of the shop. Everyone was so chill, supportive, and helpful. It was easy to see the friendship these gentlemen had. The place was clean, each artist had adequate lighting and materials, and clients were all happy about their new ink. I would recommend that you call the shop or book a consult online. Its worth it!! I had an awesome experience having my first tattoo done at Savage Tattoo Shop. Nikita was awesome with answering all of my questions, both in person, over the phone and over text. She is such a kind and encouraging person. April was the artist who did my tattoo. She took the time to design a custom piece with the ideas that I brought in from online and text that they have on the computer in the shop. I appreciated her advice and expertise as she worked to get my design exactly how I wanted it to look. She made the experience a lot of fun and put me at ease with my nervousness and not knowing what to expect.

I didn’t really know exactly what I wanted, so I told Chado kind of an idea of what I wanted. He came up with something better than I could imagine! I asked him about water color and he loved the idea! He’s super friendly and does fantastic work! This was my first tattoo and he made me feel comfortable right away. Great guy, great shop. I’ll definitely come back for more work.

I got a tattoo here and it was an awesome experience. The whole staff wore masks and thoroughly sanitized the areas. They were nice and great at conversation, and the artists would even go around and compliment each others work. I got my tattoo done by Spencer!!

I have multiple tattoos, so I know a good shop when I see one. I was in the area visiting my friends when I decided to get a tattoo to commemorate the trip. I found Savage through a Google search, and was immediately pleased with the online research. I went into the shop and spoke to Levi to book an appointment with April. I got a little triceratops done behind my ear. I love it so much, and she is great! The communication between everyone was beyond stellar. Everything was sanitary, and I was in and out in about an hour with clear after-care instructions. April has continued to follow-up with me to check on the progress of the tattoo. Absolutely would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a great place to go. A+ for sure.

Let me just start by saying Colin Senesac at Savage Tattoo deserves more that 5 stars.Before getting a tattoo from Colin most of my pieces were something that I got more on a whim than anything most of my tattoos I gave the artist a basic idea and let them run with their own creativity and while I love all my tattoos a few of them I look at and wish I could change or that I would have thought them out a little more.At first I was a little worried to get a realism tattoo simply because I didnt have anything else like it on my body. But getting to know Colin these last few months, seeing his art progress and what he could do I knew I was in capable hands.As always I gave him a basic Idea and let him do his thing. I couldnt be any happier with this tattoo than I am right now! When I told him I wanted teal in my tattoo, he went above and beyond to get the shade of teal that I love. No other tattoo on my body had my exact favorite shade of teal. They have several varriations. But Colin mixed the perfect shade I the first try. And I would reccomended him and his wonderful art to ANY AND EVERYONE that is interested in getting a sick realism tat, be it something horrific and spooky, or a beautiful pet portrait.Not only did Colin give me a better tattoo than I could have asked for, for an AMAZING price. Overall pretty good experience. I came here for my first tattoo ever! I had David as my artist who did a great job! If I could recommend two things to them, it would be to allow one person to go with their customers and to send a sketch of your tattoo to you before the day of. This would allow you to get exactly what you want out of your tattoo.

I went to savage tattoo, you, one of the greatest experience of my life, I got to meet an amazing guy his name is David, I gave him an idea I wanted done, and he redrew it, and I gotta say it was so beautiful, I was thinking this is exactly what I wanted, he was so kind , very graceful with his work, I’ve never met someone who has so much passion for their work, it’s a passion for him and I can see that and I got to have something like that put on me, shout to David thank you so much , I will never forget , and can’t wait to get more done by you !!!

I mostly went to Savage because Tyler Bloomingdale had just come in and he had some spots available while he was visiting here and because I had done a little research on him and saw he was really good with blacks and grays. So I made a consult with him to at least see what he could draw up to convince me to go with him. I explained to him what I vaguely wanted and that it was more or less a memorial for my grandfather who had passed away 4 years ago. Based on what I told him I wanted he drew up something that I believed was awesome and booked my appointment. When it came down to my appointment he showed me his final touches to the piece and asked if I had any questions. This was one of my favorite parts about the experience with him. He took suggestions from me a some slight criticism and made sure I was exactly happy with everything before he started tattooing. I attached a photo I took about mid session, Im extremely happy with what Tyler did for me. Highly recommend this guy when he finally moves out this way for tattoos in the future.

Jason was *amazing*. We worked together from start to finish on a cover up of an old tattoo and the outcome was stunning. I loved having someone *listen* to everything I asked for and ensure I got exactly what I wanted. His floral artistry is spectacular. Chris, the studio manager, did an amazing job simply pairing us together. One the best tattoo experiences I’ve had. (And J has great music and movie taste ;)

Overall, the tattooing experience was awesome. Jason took his time at the beginning to go over my tattoo with me before anything else happened. He took his time to explain things to me as he went so that I was always comfortable with what he was doing. He continually checked on me to make sure I was comfortable and at the end of the tattoo took extra time to calm my skin down. Jason has the best personality and made me laugh throughout the whole experience. He also does some of the best line work. 10/10 would recommend going in and getting a tattoo from him!

I’d been looking to get a tatto for about 3 years. I was worried about having something stuck on me permanently and not being absolutely in love with it. I found Savage tattoo from someone’s Instagram post. Not soon after a new artist came to their shop, Greyson. I set up a consult and immediately knew he was the one after 3 years of looking for the right artist. I’ve been so busy with work I haven’t had time to schedule to finish it but he took my vision of what I wanted above and beyond what I ever could’ve asked for. Spencer was my artist at Savage. My tattoo was in a more intimate spot and I felt really comfortable. Super professional and he completed the piece very speedy. He was very gentle and mindful of the placement of the tattoo which in turn made the experience less painful. Loved my experience and I’m already thinking of my next tattoo for Spencer.

Jason did a great job covering up my tattoo from another artist (it was poorly done trees sleeve). When I came to Jason, I didnt have any hope and just expected to cover it all with black ink. He said that he can save it and make it look like a forest (what I originally wanted). I ended up being really happy with the result! It took him only about 4 hours to complete it which is incredibly fast and it was almost painless.I also have to mention that the customer service is great there! I felt very welcomed and was treated with care and respect. It feels like Jason and Savage team really care about providing good quality service and want you to leave their shop happy and satisfied. They act profession and you dont feel intimidated, like how it can be at some other tattoo places. Jason even mentioned that if I dont like my tattoo, he will fix it at no cost. I ended up liking my tattoo a lot and cant wait to come back and do another one!

Amazing!! Ive spoken to Savage Tattoo several times about a particular tattoo over the years and just never connected with the folks there at that time. But this last I had been looking at David Tattz work and decided to click on the link on their Instagram for a consult. Im so glad I did! Had an immediate connection with Cris the shop manager and booked a consult with David Tattz. We hit it off instantly and I knew he was the one to do this *Special* to me tattoo thatd Id been talking to various shops off and on for about 15 years. My experience with David Tattz was great and we talked about everything under the sun while he gave me the most important, amazing tattoo I have! (10 counting this one) Definitely will be getting more art from David Tattz/Savage Tattoo as I have several more that are almost as important as the one I just had done. The photo is 24 hours after it was done. I get compliments everywhere I go, about my oldest sons beard and how life like it looks and just the whole realisticness of the whole tat. This was so important as my oldest passed away and David captured him perfectly. Thanks David Tattz for being an amazing artist and an amazing person.

Finished my second session with Tyler Bloomingdale of Savage Tattoo and couldnt be happier with the result. Tyler put it around 6 hours of work total on this piece over two sessions and always remained upbeat and focused, never once trying to rush or push for more sessions. Absolutely badass work.

Been putting off getting my first tattoo for years, stumble upon their Facebook ad and could not be happier, staff was friendly and very professional, and Eddie did an amazing job on the tattoo.

David Perez was my artist and he did a great job on my first tattoo. He did a large lion and clock. He was easy to work with when I saw the design there was just a couple of things that I wanted to change and we was able to figure out what I wanted. He is a fast tattooist.

Jason was my artist, and of course did a wonderful job, as usual! He gave me some amazing Rock Horror Picture Show ink. And am not disappointed.Update: I have come back to get a couple more pieces from Jason because I highly regard him and makes it such a wonderful collaboration. I highly recommend going to him.

I have been working with Jason and he has been really great!! I have spent years searching for a shop/artist to see my ideas. I have been ghosted, told it was to much, would not do what I wanted for me as my first tattoo, etc. It has been a negative experience leading to this point. Jason has been on board and understanding of how much meaning this piece has to me. It has felt like trying to fit 10 pounds in a 5 pound bag, but he has come up with some really great ideas to piece it all together and has collaborated with me to come up with ideas. I just started a lower leg sleeve, and we got the grey line outline put in and one part at my ankle colored in. I CANNOT STOP STARRING AT IT!!!! I LOVE IT!!! I cant wait for my next appointment to blast color into this outline and really bring this thing to life! He made it such a great experience from design to placement to ink and aftercare. I had very little pain and I had a great time with him in the shop. He was very willing to have conversation and share, I was pretty quiet and just could not stop watching it was so fascinating seeing it all come together. I could not recommend the shop more or Jason. I drive nearly 2 hours one way for the work they do. I will put pictures on after my September appointment when we really start blasting it with color. Go to Savage, ask for Jason! He will do really great things for you!

Louie has completed the top half of my sleeve and completely blown it away. He is an amazing artist and the shop was awesome, all of the other artists that I had the pleasure to meet were really good guys. Everyone at Savage is just that “Savage” I would and have recommended Savage Tattoo to everyone one I know. After my most recent session on April 12, 2021 I immediately scheduled my next session with Louie for farther down on my forearm. This guy is seriously amazing and this shop is unreal!!!!!!

I was looking for a tattoo artist that specializes in trash polka style. Savage tattoo was the first the first place that popped up close to me. After a great consultation, they set me up with Spencer! After sending some reference pics over, Spencer got a hold of me to hammer out some final details. I have to say his final design was way better than anything I could’ve come up with! We finished up my 4hr session today, and Spencer killed it! His work and attention to detail was fantastic! Had the greatest experience at Savage Tattoo! I loved Kira and her work is amazing! I got to the shop and we ended up drawing up my tattoo on the spot which was an awesome experience! She was extremely knowledgeable and informed me about anything I needed to know. Just got this new tattoo over the weekend. This is the second one i got done at savage. Both were done by Spencer. Hes been so good with my tattoos! Hes very percise and careful and he gave me exactly what I wanted. Turned out so beautiful. Its a very chill environment and everyone there is so nice. For sure going back for my next one.

Absolutely 100% love the work Louie was able to do for me. This tattoo means a lot to me. Here’s the story, my wife and I found out we were pregnant in 2019, the week we found out the gender we had a miscarriage. We were going to name her Willow. My wife had a dream about my grandfather(he passed away in 2006)who she never met and she said he was saying the name Willow, now this dream occurred before we found out we were pregnant. I showed her a picture of him and she said that was him. Unfortunately my wife had to have an emergency DNC done but as soon as she recovered from the operation I told myself and her that I wanted to get a tattoo done to take our baby girl wherever I go so she is always with me. Two years later after searching for an artist that would do a tattoo like this, Chris(the shop manager)referred me to Louie and said he is really good at realism, which is what I wanted. He pulled through and gave me this beautiful Willow Tree in two sessions, just finished the second session today and I am extremely happy that he wanted to and was able to do this. Louie, I appreciate you for doing this for me and I cannot thank you enough! I will definitely be coming back for my future tattoos.For anyone that is looking for high quality work and get your money’s worth. I highly recommend going to Savage Tattoo, all the artists, the shop manager and the shop owner and super friendly and laid back, you will enjoy the time you spend there, full of rather interesting conversations and lots of laughter. My Artist David Perez was a super chill guy and very skilled he absolutely killed my Half sleeve Brown Bear tattoo! He was very thorough and quick and had excellent tattoo equipment to handle the tattoo which made it virtually painless and more of an enjoyable experience for my first tattoo I’d recommend Savage Tattoos to anyone!

Spencer did such an amazing job on my tattoo! I got a fine line tattoo, and his hand was so steady, not one single place I can complain absolutely. I love it all! They were all very friendly, made sure I was comfortable, asked about the temperature in the building and the music. Really focused on me and my comfort. Got a great tattoo and conversation out of coming here!

I was really nervous to get my first tattoo. My artist was Louie. The process was simple. He took the time to understand what I wanted and calm my nerves. I have been looking at designs and tattoos for the past 20 years and never pulled the plug into getting one myself. Finally I decided I was going to do it. The people at Savage Tattoo was honest and upfront on what to expect. They do their best to team you up with an artist that is suited to the type / design you would like to get. They get to know their clients and put them at ease during the process. The process took about an hour to design and then about three hours to tattoo it. I expected it to take a bit longer.

Kira was absolutely amazing!! Im so in love with my tattoo! She is so talented at what she does, I dont think Ill ever go to another tattoo artist again! Im obsessed with her work! She genuinely cares about her clients, and was very knowledgeable on tattoos. Ive never been to a tattoo shop that provided me with all the after care products that I needed, so that was awesome! Everyone in the shop was chill and Kira is incredible!! Thank you again Kira! Cant wait for our next session !

I went to Savage for my first tattoo defiantly nervous but it could have not gone better! Spencer was amazing with my tattoo, he did such an impressive job, he was also very patient and is someone that really puts his heart and effort into your tattoo, you can tell he takes pride in his work. The consult process was great, I was able to do it virtually weeks in advance. My artist was Mike and I showed him my inspiration photos, told him what I liked and didnt like about them, and the results were amazing! The shop is clean, the vibe is relaxed and fun, and Mike went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process. I drove all the way from the south end of the Salt Lake Valley and would totally do it again!

I was really nervous to get my tattoo. It’s my second one, but it has been a LONG time since my first one. I had a great consultation with Chris. They truly care about you as a customer and want to make sure you are happy. He matched me with Mike and we did a FaceTime consultation. He asked me a lot of questions about why I wanted the particular tattoo I picked. That helped him with his design. He got me in really fast and was awesome! He was very easy to work with and was always asking if I was doing ok. He is a great guy and very talented. I could not be happier with the result. I got my tattoo 2 days before I was going to run a half marathon. When Chris found out he asked me to come back in after the race so he could re-wrap it for me. They typically only do that once. I really appreciated the extra care. All in all, I’m a customer for life. My husband and son will be going there too!!

I had followed Savage Tattoos and Kiras work for a little while before I finally decided to go in for my consultation, convinced by Kiras clean lines and geometric works. I had a vague idea of design, but didnt know quite how to articulate it. In the end, Kira took the challenge head on and produced a beautiful design that I am so happy with. We had an enjoyable time together and produced a great result. I cant stop smiling!This was an excellent experience for my first tattoo, and I will recommend Savage to everyone. Mike did a fantastic job on my knee cap mandala! I gave him a few ideas about what I wanted but really allowed him to use his artistic vision to give me a truly unique piece. He was great about walking me through his thoughts on how he envisioned the piece. He took the time to line it up just perfectly on my leg and knocked out the entire piece in one sitting. Mike was great to talk with while getting tattooed and the banter with the other artists was entertaining, making the session fly by. I highly recommend Mike as an artist and attention to detail and this shop as a whole. Thanks again Mike!

I absolutely love the environment and vibe at savage tattoo. Everyone there is super nice and you can tell that every single artist in that shop cares. I had Kira as my artist and she was phenomenal. Her line work is so amazing and clean. She does some really beautiful work. I am very disappointed honestly. I came here to get my first tattoo not knowing really anything about them. I chose savage tattoo because I saw they had a lot of great reviews, only to find out after I got my tattoo done that they pay for their 5 star reviews. They had me do an online consultation, with the artist they thought would do best for my tattoo, I explained to Spencer (my artist) everything that I wanted and how I wanted it, which he said he’d have drawn up and if there’s anything I wanted changed he could fix. I was told it would take 2-3 hours max and it would be $175 an hour so that’s what I had saved for. Come the day that I’m getting my tattoo done, nothing was prepared and had nothing but an outline of a picture on his iPad I had sent him as an idea of the type of moth I wanted. I sat there for 6 hours trying to explain to him what I wanted and trying to find a picture of exactly what I wanted, but being the creative person I am there was nothing on google sense I wanted my own design. I was getting annoyed/ anxiety and just settled for something I didn’t even really want. He finally got started at around 7 and when 2 hours had already passed I just knew this tattoo wasn’t going to be done in the time he said sense he had just finished with the outline. I had told him I only planned on paying for the 3 hours and he kept going, finally at 11pm I called it quits because I didnt have any more money to keep going and I had graduation the next day. He still had the eyes to do, which he said would “only” take another hour. In total I spent $875 for this tattoo which is absolutely ridiculous considering they eyelashes are all messed up and most of the lines look horrible and will not be able to be fixed. Not to also mention that he had to take a “smoke break” every hour. I do not find it very personal to smoke weed while trying to do a tattoo that is supposed to have a lot of detail in it. I feel very taken advantage of and now that I’m actually talking to people about it and other tattoo shops I realized I could’ve gotten a lot better from way more experienced artists for half the price.

My bestie and I wanted matching tattoos. After months of looking around the valley and looking at different artists work we decided to go with Savage. Jason was our artist and his work was better then I imagined. Hes easy to be around and chat with AND hes a great singer haha for real though. While there we met some of the other artists in the shop and they were all super chill and Id feel comfortable with any of them. If youre looking for a tattoo artist you wont be disappointed with Jason!

Just barely had my tattoo finished this last week. It took 2 sessions but each session was a great experience. I want to thank Colin for bringing me an awesome twist for an idea on my tattoo. The customer service here is out standing and the dedication to quality and satisfaction is magnificent! I was originally scheduled for an appointment in July however my appointment was cut short. You might think “well that’s bull shit” but my artist had already spent 2 hours working with me to pull the image in my head into reality and something just wasn’t looking quite right. I scheduled another appointment (at no extra cost to me) and Jason told me he would continue to fine tune the image. I arrived at my next appointment to see the image in my head on his tablet screen and left a few hours later with it on my arm. This shop is dedicated to service quality and client satisfaction. I will be getting more pieces from savage tattoo.

My experience at savage was amazing. The shop and artists are all so inviting, its filled with good vibes. Kira designed and gave me my first tattoo and I couldnt have asked for a better experience. She made me feel so comfortable, shes understanding and super down to earth. She also makes sure your tattoo is exactly what you want. The dotwork she did on me is stellar, plus she specializes and is talented in MANY different styles. Her artwork is phenomenal. I highly recommend her!

I decided to make the journey all the way up to Ogden one Friday afternoon after hearing the raving reviews. I made a consultation appointment and the professionalism and welcoming attitude from Brandon was phenomenal. It was like talking to an old friend. He set me up with an artist he felt would work best for what I was looking for. After driving for an hour to get up there, I was told that my artist unexpectedly went home sick that afternoon. Instead of immediately turning me away, Tyson stepped up to the job. I was so grateful that he was willing to take on my tattoo after the other artist went home. He made sure my time was not wasted one bit. We made the appointment and I came back two weeks later to get my tattoo. Tyson is extremely talented, fun to work with and he will do anything to make sure youre happy and getting exactly what you want, even if it means starting from scratch on something completely custom. Im very happy with my tattoo and how well I was taken care of. I highly recommend Savage for anyone looking for a great tattoo experience!

First tattoo ever and Jason was the perfect choice of artist to go to! Did a dragon on my back and the while process took 3 hours which was much shorter than expected. He was very light with the needle too and so the pain was not much compared to what I anticipated. Would highly recommend him as your artist for your first, second, or any tattoo! If he doesnt do the styling you want, then the other artists are just as skilled here at savage!

This was my very first tattoo! I am so happy that they put me with Spencer! He was so calm and chill when talking to that he put my mind at ease. I went for a watercolor art tattoo on my forearm and he seriously is a master! I absolutely love it! I had debated getting this tattoo for five years! I had lots of ideas, when I was able to narrow the design down and share, he made it 100 times better! It is so perfect for me! Thanks Spencer!! Spencer did a very fine line tattoo on my wrist that Im absolutely in love with. I recommend him for fine line work 100 percent. Also the management is wonderful and listens to what you want and connects you with the perfect artist. I cant recommend this place enough.

Mike did an AMAZING job on my first ever tattoo! Finding an available tattoo artist here in Ogden is tough and finding one willing to combine each other’s thoughts and views is even tougher. Mike was above and beyond attentive from the word go. Especially if you’re like me and love anime and are trying to find an artist with that same vision, look no further than Mike at Savage Tattoo! Him along with the rest of the staff are the kindest folks you can ever let dig into ya with a needle lol, they’re awesome!

This please is outstanding. From the second I walked in I felt welcome they set you up with the perfect artist if you dont already have one in mind. I had Chado finish the color on a tattoo that was already outlined. He did an outstanding job! He also has gone above and beyond with the care and touch ups to make sure it all looks amazing when fully healed up. Also all the other artist there are amazing and friendly. If your looking for a good shop I suggest Savage and I personally will be going back to get more work.

Jason Pickett and savage tattoo really set my standards high for anything regarding tattooing. I got my first tattoo done here, it’s a bouquet that cascades across my whole back.
