Highly recommend Legacy Tattoo! Such an inviting and welcoming environment. Prior to my appointment one of the managers kindly took time to walk me around the building, introducing me to the artist and allowing me to see what the business was all about. The entire team was warm and friendly. Xavier was my tattoo artist and he was nothing short of amazing! So professional, efficient and beyond talented at his art. By far the best tattoos I have received! Highly recommend!

Atombomb does fantastic work and is super great to design and work with any style. I couldn’t be happier with my tattoo. His scheduler was super accommodating and helpful in so many ways. Absolutely had a great experience with them both. Thanks 🙏🏻 to you both. Definitely will be back!

Just walking in, you know this is going to be a next level tattoo experience. The design of the place is beautiful. Squeaky clean. They kept the historical part of the building yet created beautiful work spaces for the artists.The service was beyond fantastic. Walk right in, you dont get that feeling you sometimes get with other shops like you feel youre an annoyance and interrupting. Adam stopped his project came right over and was super helpful. Beyond nice...Kylie, my artist took the time to talk and design my ink. At not point did I feel rushed. Im super excited to see whats next! James Gonzalez is an absolutely amazing tattoo artist!! He designed a piece that was beautiful and spoke to me. I Reached out to him immediately to set my appointment and snag his design. He was very kind and professional and definitely knows what he is doing! His line work is out of this world! He has done 3 of my tats and I have an appointment for another one. I highly recommend him! You wont find any better!! He is the best!!!

James did mine and my friends tattoo yesterday. It was a great experience. Very welcoming and clean. Simple tattoos aren’t necessarily the easiest and his lines were very clean. I’m from out of town but I will prob be getting my tattoos from him from now one when I’m in town.

I just recently got some work done from James at the Ogden tattoo convention and I am truly amazed. His hospitality was great, he was fun to be around during this session as we all know its not a fast process and the quality of his work is top tier. He was clean and organized. I can not wait to get back in to get more work done! 100% recommend him for black and grey work.

I went in and asked Adam to do a very hard thing....lol I wanted 5 tattoos covered up with no color just black...lol We sat down and he came up with an awesome idea that I fell in love with... 3 weeks later he knocked it out of the park and did my whole sleeve In 10.5 hours...It was an awesome experience and all the staff was super amazing too...I also seen some other amazing work leaving the shop wile I was there! They have a bunch of super talented artists there! Go check them out for your next tattoo!!!

Adam Id a damn good job! Loved it and he is great to work with. Very detailed and informative. Answered all my questions with knowledge. Didnt rush me into it and did exactly what I wanted.

Adam is my favorite tattoo artist! I have gotten 7 of my tattoos from him, and plan to get the rest of my future tattoos done through him. He’s very professional, does what you ask, and also puts in his suggestions when asked. Some of my tattoos are a couple years old and still look super new! Adam has been so great! I can’t imagine going to someone else and expecting better service or ink done. I have loved all of my tattoos and have had 100+ compliments on my ink. Definitely recommend Legacy Tattoo and Adam!

Went to Adam after seeing work he did on a coworker. I was told several times by other artists that my original tattoo would be hard to cover.... they were WRONG! Adam did an AMAZING job covering up the abomination that was there before! I highly recommend visiting Legacy Tattoo! Atmosphere was chill, studio was nice and clean. Looking forward to forward to finishing this cover up soon!

Chanelle(Florid Flesh) is incredible, my entire experience was done with absolute professionalism and expertise. Even though the shop was busy. The front staff kept checking in to make sure I was good. She made sure I was comfortable and provided the best experience, Following the piercing Chanelle gave precise instructions for aftercare will always return for her services.

Went and got a tattoo from Adam his work is amazing. He takes his time and works to make sure that your tattoos looks phenomenal from start to finish. Definitely recommend him and legacy tattoo for anyone that is looking to have some work done

I went to Adam for my hip/thigh tattoo. First things first, Adam makes sure you’re comfortable throughout the whole tattoo process. He is very respectful and works with your budget! I went in at 10:00am, he started getting the drawing/stencil ready. Had the stencil placed on around 12, started the tattooing shortly after and left around 5:20pm. Went in thinking I was going to get a smaller piece, but ended up getting a big piece instead. I can’t even begin to describe his line work and how quickly he works in general. I will 1000% be going back to Adam for future projects! Overall my experience was amazing and I’m in love with my new piece!! Thanks again!! I would highly recommend him!

JADE: I got a helix, 2 lobe and my tragus pierced by Jade. Im so glad I heeded the other reviews about her. She truly was the BEST piercer Ive ever had.Her space is so boho and cozy...not like your typical piercing parlor. She has SO MANY options for jewelry....she gets that woman like their piercings to be fashion statements!Shes so easy to talk to, and incredibly sweet and down to earth. And SO FAST! My mind is still reeling how she was able to do all my piercings so quickly, like milliseconds lol.And I dont know if its because they were done quickly...but these have healed so fast, (not like 100% healed, but after only 2 weeks, theyre hardly sensitive at all-even my cartilage ones). Im use to it taking 1-2 months before I can lay on my side where my piercings are… in this case, I already can 🙌🏽✨

Pretty cool shop. Not creepy or goth like a lot of tattoo shops. Adam is a very talented artist. He was fun to talk with and he asked all the right questions when designing my tattoo. I will going back to Adam for more ink!

I’ve gotten a tattoo from Angela @morbidsoulstattoo twice now and had a great experience each time! She was nice and helped with determining the best options for placements and sizing. Definitely would return for more! The studio was clean and had a good atmosphere.

Got my nose pierced here and Jade was AWESOME. She helped me feel relaxed and showered me with compliments the whole time I was there. Will absolutely come back for more piercings here.

I recently got a tattoo done at Legacy Tattoo by Angela and it was an amazing experience! Everyone there was very welcoming. Angela talked me through everything beforehand and was able to create a unique tattoo to fit me perfectly.The experience went very well. She asked me when I needed breaks and offered me drinks and snacks to help. She watched my pain tolerance and adjusted as needed.She also was willing to finish the tattoo in one 7 hour session which is an incredible feat (drawing for 6 hours hunched over 🤯).The shading and line work on the tattoo is incredible.I would highly recommend Angela for any future tattoos. I definitely know I will be going back for more.

I had an appointment with Keysha for a tattoo she was great! She drew everything up fast and made it look so good! She made sure I was comfortable and okay! Her work is perfect and was everything I expected! I had a concept and gave her artistic freedom and it came out so good!

Set an appointment with James with a very vague idea of what I wanted to accentuate a current tat. He was so accommodating and patient and we sat down and worked it out. It turned out even better than what I had imagined. He was kind, friendly and had a gentle touch. All of the staff seemed very pleasant as well. Great atmosphere! A++ experience !

Me and my sister went in for a tattoo. Adam helped us make our design perfect. He gave us a lot of input for placing and helped us make the perfect decision when we weren’t exactly sure on placing. Can’t wait to go back and get more work done!

James did an amazing job with my cover up. He took the time to understand my vision, look through pictures, sketch it out, and made sure I liked the placement. He was very easy to talk to, light handed and has great technique. He also made sure to keep a clean work station and opened the supplies he used in front of me. Excited to get more work done :)!

Awesome place and Chanelle was fantastic! She was very informative and professional! She was also very nice and gave off a relaxing feeling, definitely helpful when getting new piercings! Even gave me her card in case anything came up, which is extremely helpful!

I have gone to seen Angela multiple times! The first time was actually when she was a Tattoo apprentice! Even then she has never failed to amaze me with her straight lines, attention to detail and overall amazing talent! I’ve given her so many different ideas, price ranges, and size differences in no matter what she has always listen to me and given me multiple options as to what she can do for me. She’s been very patient with me and willing to change or create anything that I wanted! I recommended so many people to go see her! She is very reasonably priced especially for her talent!

I had ear piercings done by Bear a few months back. I got five done that day and he was so quick and it was painless. So great. Today I got my first tattoo ever with James and the whole experience was so great. He got my design done really quick and the tattoo process took less than an hour. His work was so quick and it came out so great. I can’t say enough how happy I am with the result. I highly recommend Bear for piercings and James for tattoos.

James did a small script tattoo on my leg. I came in from out of town for a week and he made time for me within a few days. He was so calm and collected. Ive been three times and love(d) the final result every time. This time was a hammer with measuring tape around it that has three words on it and looks absolutely amazing. Love the work and how it looks!! This time my artist was Adam Meyers and hes awesome!! Definetely come here for tattoos! They have an artist for whatever style you want and will do a killer job!!! Dont go to Ricky. I went to him for black words on my upper thigh and all of the letters turned out good and then somehow he completely messed up the last letter and it was smaller than all of the other letters. I went back to fix it. My fiance wanted to fix it with black so it couldnt be messed up any further but Ricky insisted we fix it with white. We ended up trusting him that he said it would be better. He had to dig into my skin to fix it with the white instead of the black. He told me the white would fade after a couple of months and after a few months it still hasnt faded at all and stands out a lot. There is also scar tissue since he didnt just fix it with the black like we had in mind. I ended up starting tattoo removal for the tattoo. He seemed chill so I thought that I would give him one more chance at my next tattoo which was a lion which was a mistake. It ended up not being symmetrical at all. The left side is way bigger than the right side. The red shading was also done uneven. He was high while tattooing me and even hit a dab pen while tattooing me. He was also talking about tattoo shop drama the whole time he was tattooing me and kept stopping during the tattoo to talk about the drama going on in the shop about how they dont like each other at the shop which made it more raw by the time it was done. Overall I ended up having a very low frequency experience with this tattoo shop.

Got my first tattoo here! James Gonzalez was my tattoo artist. Even though it was my first tattoo it’s easy to tell James is a professional at what he does. He was super friendly and funny and his tattooing process from beginning to end was phenomenal! Even when it came to lots of customization and changes, he breezed through every concern I brought to his attention and really made me feel heard when it came to designing the tattoo and actually tattooing me. I had requested lots of shading and had a bunch of small details on my tattoo, but he really made it look easy with how sweet the finished product turned out! He was recommended by someone close, so I decided to see if he could do what I wanted as I had been looking around for someone who could do I exactly what I had in my head. He perfectly captured what I wanted and even than he was still able to add some additional details to really bring out the main eye candy of the tattoo. Can’t help but recommend him!!

I got a Kirby tattoo here last September. Chado did it, and he was super understanding of my epilepsy and was incredibly kind, funny, and skilled. My tattoo came out great and I get compliments all the time! He made sure I was okay every step of the way, and put a lot of effort into getting pink ink for me. Its stood the test of time, from freshly tatted to today! The facility was very clean and nicely kept, and many of the other artists there looked great, too. I also got a second lobe piercing recently by Bear and he was funny, sweet, and knew what he was doing. Both had great aftercare advice. Highly recommend!

I emailed Magic for an appointment and she responded very quickly and was friendly even through email. Niko did an amazing job on fixing my tattoo!! I honestly love it. He wanted to know what I would like to fix about my tattoo as well as give some advice on what else would look cool such as color, shading, and depth. He was also very gentle with the fact that he is covering up my existing tattoo that was a shame to look at before hand. I highly recommend going to this awesome new shop! He definitely knew what would make me happy as well as making the piece look beautiful!!

I took my son to get his ears pierced for his birthday and as an added bonus, my nose pierced. First off, the atmosphere was great. Angel did both mine and my son’s. She was precise and paid attention to detail. She was also incredibly friendly, informative and made my son feel very comfortable. Best piercing experience I’ve ever had.

The shop was super clean and everyone there is nice. I got a new tattoo and had also had a old tattoo enhanced both by James. He did an amazing job!! Went in for my first tattoo James was my artist he is awesome makes you feel comfortable and his work is amazing...sat for 3 hours with a couple of 10 min breaks. Magic has pierced by eyebrow and I was very nervous to say the least but she calmed me down and she pierced it while distracting me.. it was very smooth. Her energy all around is amazing and I will definitely be going back again!And of course Jade has done my tongue and my dermal, she was very fast with it and also calmed my nerves down a whole lot. She was the sweetest and I will also be going back to her for more piercings!

Worked with Adam on a MASSIVE cover up on my ribs, and I couldn’t be happier! Adam is an awesome guy to work with and does amazing work! I threw him a curveball with the original tattoo, and he hit it out of the park with the old quote now being nonexistent! Shop atmosphere was also great with the other artists all being super chill and cranking out sick pieces during my multiple sessions. My only regret is not having Adam cover this up sooner!!! I will definitely be back to finish my sleeve and some other stuff!

My daughter and I decided last minute to get a few piercings during a snow storm ;) Magic was amazing!!!! I was second guessing myself the drive there because of the storm, but it was so worth it. Magic helped my daughter put her focus elsewhere by having great conversation and making her feel super comfortable. I got two piercings and am planning on going back for my septum. If you are looking into body modifications, give Magic your trust…she will definitely take good care of you while doing beautiful work and her soul is just pure “magic” :))

Maybe look at other shops nearby and ask for a price estimate first. The experience was good and they shared a lot of care and told me how to treat the tattoo. However, I was not aware Id need the money in CASH! I had to run around to ATMs in the area and was a little frustrated I wasnt told before the appointment. I also think it was a little expensive since other shops Ive been to have charged a GREAT deal less for the work I had done.Theyre cool but I think some of the artists may charge a seriously higher price than youd expect from other shops.

James: I went in for a custom script tattoo of my father’s handwriting and he absolutely killed it! He started by taking the parts I wanted and tracing them letter for letter. He also assisted me with the placement and gave me advice on what he thought looked best. It looks the exact same as his handwriting, you literally cannot tell the difference. With this being my first tattoo, James was very understanding and caring. He’s an awesome guy who will definitely make you feel very comfortable while you’re in the chair.

I loved my experience at Legacy! I got a great tattoo done by James and he did amazing! Great communication, the tattoo was affordable, super great quality, and I absolutely love it. I definitely recommend going here for any tattoos.

Update 4/5/24 - Still love Legacy! Went to Adam for a tattoo yesterday and he’s amazing! Listens carefully to what you want, but works quickly and efficiently. His work is beautiful and he made the whole experience fun. Looking forward to my next one already!We took my 5 y.o. to Legacy to have her ears pierced by Bear after hearing many glowing reviews about him, and I am so glad we did! He was phenomenal with her! He took his time to map out exactly where the piercing should go and never seemed rushed. He gave my kiddo some suckers to distract her and even played Let It Go and sang with her to keep her occupied. I will always recommend Bear to anyone looking to have any piercing done!

My girlfriend got two piercings through Legacy. Then we both got tattoos from Tyson! Awesome place with amazing artists. Everything was comfortable quick and professional.

Jade pierced my ear last month. My sister in law and I went together, and Jade told us to just book it as a single appointment even though we were both getting three piercings, plus I wanted ear curation. I felt really disappointed afterward because she hardly spent any time listening to me. She told me to tell her what I wanted while she was piercing my sister in law. She spent maybe 10 minutes with me, including the piercings. Even with the photos I showed her and the explanation of what I wanted, it was totally different than what I wanted. I think had she either insisted we take separate appointments so we had more time, or maybe explained why she placed the piercings where she did it would have helped. Her bedside manner overall was very cold. It felt like she was just trying to rush us out the door. She only uses hoops for helixes and mine werent healing well. Also the flat she pierced was crooked and she never mentioned during my appointment that the earring would need to be downsized later on. I went to another piercer to recurate my ear and she explained that it was at a steep angle and that if it were to finish healing, it would be hard to put jewelry. She was surprised when I said I have not been sleeping on my ear, and it must have been pierced that way. All in all I had to take all three piercings out. Maybe Jade was just having an off day, but this was my experience.

I got an extremely beautiful rose tattoo done by James. Definitely met my expectations and then some. I got daith piercings done and Jade did an amazing job!! I wear a hearing aid in one ear and she took the time to help me get a good position for my hearing aid that worked with the piercings and still allowed me to wear my hearing aid. She was quick and the pain was minimal. She provided great aftercare instructions. She was very personable and knowledgeable throughout the whole process! I will definitely be coming to her again for any future piercings!

Colin did a fantastic job. He worked on me for 22 hours total two days in a row and made me feel comfortable the entire time. He was professional, extremely clean, and fun to hang out with for that long. I looked for an artist for over five years and he delivered way beyond my expectations. Colin was very light handed and knowledgeable about the color palettes and science behind taking good care of your skin. His artistic abilities are just beyond belief.

I’ve gone to Legacy a few times, and this time has been my favorite experience. My artist James gave me a beautiful pothos vine tattoo that was everything I wanted it to be. He took a good amount of time finding a reference that I liked and constantly made sure that it was what I wanted. My tattoo was near private areas, and he was very respectful during the entire process and made sure I was comfortable throughout. The FREE-HANDED tattoo itself turned out incredible, clean, and shaded beautifully. If you want a great tattoo that you’ll love forever, I suggest going to James.

I had a tattoo done by James a few days ago and it was incredible work. I came with a specific design and was nervous that it would come out differently from how I wanted, but it was perfect. I could not be happier with the result, and James was very gentle and kind while doing the tattoo. He worked with me when placing and sizing the tattoo and I would go back to him for any future work in a heartbeat. Could not emphasize how much I would recommend him!

This guy was amazing. Colin is the guy to see if you want a masterpiece on you. It looks as vibrant as if it was just done 10 minutes ago. Didnt loose any color or clarity from the healing process. Its been a month and has healed perfectly. Also a cool dude to chat with. Felt like I knew him for years by the end of the second session. Hahaha Definitely recommend to go see him at Legacy. I had no problem with the tattoo artist himself. He was great. My tattoo is fantastic. Which is why I am leaving 2 stars instead of 1.I am disappointed with the unprofessional way the receptionist handled a situation. My husband came for moral support as this was my first tattoo. We got a baby sitter for our toddler but brought our 4 month old baby. She is very temperamental with anyone whose not my husband or myself and we didnt want her to just scream the whole time with a sitter. We thought it would be fine considering she is too little to move around and would have to be held by dad the whe time anyways.The receptionist came up about 45 minutes into my appointment and right in front of us discussed with the artist the rules about minors in the studio. She should have taken the artist out, away from us to discuss this. My husband ended up being told the baby couldnt be in the room. Not a huge deal, he waited in the hall instead. The artist apologized and explained he thought the baby would also be fine to be in the room considering shes a baby. He did explain that because he doesnt have piercers license it would be an issue if a health inspector showed up. Very understandable. So, my husband and baby were in the hall waiting, and 30 minutes later the receptionist came back. And again, right in front of us told the artist the boss didnt even want the baby upstairs. My husband and baby had to wait in the downstairs lobby.There is a lobby upstairs and a waiting area on the middle level landing but they had to go downstairs? They can pierce babies ears there, and there was a baby getting its ears pierced while we were there, but my husband and baby cant wait in the lobby on the floor I am on? I got my nose pierced when the baby was two months old by Jade and there was no problem with either of my kids in the upstairs lobby then. The situation was very unprofessional in the way the receptionist addressed it. And having them wait in the downstairs lobby was excessive. It was my first tattoo and my husband came as moral support. The baby didnt cry the entire appointment and didnt bother anyone. I will get more tattoos in the future but not there which is unfortunate for the artist because he was great. Maybe when people book appointments they should be told absolutely no minors because I never once was told.

Despite these being my 11th piercing I still freak out everytime and she was amazing. I had the option of changing the color of the jewlery but I kept it simple with the silver.

Love it!First review for piercings: I looked at many Google reviews prior to selecting Legacy Tattoos and Piercing. My mom, who is in her late 70s, wanted to get her ears pierced for her birthday. It was a big deal. I looked at places that just use a gun in a large chain retail setting. I quickly realized that my mother would be having her piercing done by pretty much anyone with a brief in-store training when they were hired for retail. No way. We needed someone who specialized in piercing, who was a professional, who knew everything about aftercare, who would take their time, who had hundreds of piercings in their portfolio, and where we were assured of a sterile environment with the appropriate licensing. After comparing prices online as well, with retail chains charging for a piercing bundle which you have no choice about, Legacy was a fraction of the cost. They are ethical, and only charge for the piercing and your choice of jewelry. AND-- we got to meet Bear, who has wonderful reviews. It was a miracle my Mom agreed to go to a tattoo and body piercing location in the first place. Believe me. She is very set in her ways. When I explained the benefits of choosing Legacy, she had no problem. I had to take a photo to prove it was done. ;) Now for the best part. Legacys studio is BEAUTIFUL! It is an immaculate, high-end art studio. There is even a loft area, and closed door options if your tattoo or piercing requires it. The moment you walk in, the positive and happy vibes hit you, and you leave with beautiful, professional work and explicit care instructions and training. You are not forced to purchase your aftercare product from them like the retailer makes you. Its just available if you choose it. (Its great, and smells really good IMO.) My mom is allergic to almost everything on the planet, and she had zero allergic reaction. Ive used it on 2 piercings myself. They healed perfectly and quickly. Bear was so amazing with my Mom. Kind, warm, patient, respectful, professional. She was completely pampered and Bear made sure she felt special. It was as quick as a gun, without any sound to startle her at all. I was so impressed that I came back to Bear not long after to get a daith piercing Id wanted but had been putting off. I love it and have received a lot of compliments on how cool it looks. Bear also has a gift for figuring out what jewelry vibes with each person. He only makes suggestions and shows options, but leaves the choice completely up to you. For my daith, he immediately knew what would be the perfect hoop when I asked him for a suggestion. He chose something that he thought matched my vibe. He was right. I came back last week for a pretty cartilage hoop. He made a suggestion knowing me, but for some reason, I chose a smaller version instead. I ended up realizing after seeing my ear with the hoop I chose that the perfect size for my look was what Bear had already recommended. I absolutely and highly recommend Legacy. All of the artists are so nice and happy using their talents. I saw their tattoo work as well, and am treating myself to an early Christmas present soon. It will be a custom tattoo.
