Excellent, well worth the wait! Natalee did my cover up. Thank you so much for understanding how i wanted the colours and incorporate it beautifully, My hubby who is not big on tattoos even complimented it. The whole studio seems to be full of talented artists.

I’ve now had 4 tattoos done at fleshworks and it’s such a vibe every time. They’re incredibly nice and accommodating, the artists can do almost any style giving incredible ink, and the care they put into the aftercare packages including hand written notes is crazy thoughtful. Got a new tat today with Tommy Smith. Always knew he was an amazing artist but him doing out tats for the first time blew us away. The tats are clean and look awesome. We love the shop it has so much awesome decorations in it and is very clean. It was nice and cold as well which is a plus during the summer. Definitely our new tat place and would definitely recommend. Expect more business coming your way for sure.

Honestly I feel very out of place at this shop but Jess makes it much more personal and calming. If you’re looking for someone who can do clean, fine line work and “micro decorating” then this is the place. Jess has done 6 of my tattoos and it’s always precise and less than an hour (no milking time). She’s comfortable with change on the spot (both placement and some extra filling in of space). She also is great at matching your tattoos to be alike as mine are all small black sections. This place is always booked but if you wait and finally get in there is definitely consistency with getting you priority on the schedule for your next one. Side note, they have beverages and food which I appreciate during a long session or just coming after work or something. For first timers, I recommend!

My artist Chris Chandler is amazing and has 20+ years experience. His artist vision is beyond words.The shop is one of the best shops I’ve been to. It’s family friendly and they make you feel like you’re apart of that family.It’s the only tattoo shop I recommend.

My tattoo artist moved away so I needed to find a new one. I heard about Fleshworks from a friend, checked out their website and the different artists work and thought theyd be a good fit for my birthday tattoo. Natalee had an opening the following week so I booked with her and couldnt be happier! I will definitely be back.Also, the shop is super cool.

My husband and I decided to get our anniversary tattoos at a new shop and chose Fleshworks based on friends experiences. I am so incredibly happy that we gave them a shot. We got tattoos from Chris. He took our inspiration and turned them into beautiful tattoos. We will absolutely be back.

Had an appointment with Natalie today. 10/10 recommend. Shes an incredible artist, very talented. And she was easy to talk to and accommodating of requests. The shop is fun and the staff was relaxed and helpful. Excellent experience all around, will be back!

Got three tattoos done by Jess for my daughter, son and myself. It was my sons first. They turned out amazing. Very clean facility and friendly staff. Will definitely be making a trip back to them as soon as possible.Updated. I have had 3 more tattoos done by Jess. In fact she has been the only one I have trusted to get new ink. Travis is the best of the best and worth the wait. I have been going to him for six years and here is an example of some of the work he’s done for me. The Raven on my back is a cover-up and the lion he fixed from a previous artist and added the elephant. He is extremely kind and a breathtakingly amazing artist.

Everything about this place is amazing!such a family type vibe, extremely clean, super welcoming. Chris chandler is such a phenomenal artist, he took the time to have a 2 hour consultation (free of charge) to mock up an idea for my moms memorial tattoo, he really cared about making it perfect and including all the personal details. He absolutely made it happen, everything I could want from a tattoo artist to the tattoo he created was nothing less then phenomenal. Seriously the best experience Ive had. Started using Fleshworks several years ago when they were in the last building. First let me say that there is a great vibe when you walk in. The decor is killer and everyone is positive and helpful.Chris did a tattoo for me this time. It was a little memorial piece for my dad and the amount of time and patience he gave to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. We bounced ideas off of each other until it was spot on.Chris made this a very meaningful memorial for me. I always refer people here and always will.

I could not speak more highly of Fleshworks if I tried. I was beyond thrilled at how the shop runs. They were extremely welcoming and ensured I got just what I was looking for. They truly have a family atmosphere and the artists look out for each other, and they show great respect to their apprentices and speak highly of them. That alone speaks volumes of their character.Travis was well worth the wait but Im sure theres not a single artist in that shop Id be disappointed with going through. They all take their jobs seriously and the art they put forth. They also are visibly cognitive of any clientele in the shop going through a hard tattoo and do their best to help get minds off pain and make it a positive experience for the customers that are not in their chair as well.The artwork was absolutely impeccably done. Travis works very efficiently and is truly deserving of his accolades as best of south sound. Very skilled, very thoughtful, and remarkably talented. His reputation isnt built on specializing in detailed work but yet he made an impeccable tattoo out of my steel horse and driftwood idea.Bar none will absolutely go back for the next one. Dont mind waiting for Travis again. Too thrilled with the results not to.

I got my first Fleshworks tattoo at a recent convention from artist DK Ouye. I saw the bare bones sketch, literally the outline--no detail, and knew I had to have it. DK was professional but fun to work with. He had a vision in his head and I was happy to give him artistic freedom. Im so glad I did, as a matter of fact, I have gifted him my right arm (dont worry, Im left handed) to use as his canvas. My future appointments will be free thought and even at times free hand.DK isnt the only talented artist! I watched Fleshworks Tattoo clean house during the competitions, and based off of their award table they had been for every night of the convention; that night though owner Travis completed a sick Ninja Turtle thigh piece, Artist Jess (??? Im so sorry if I got the name wrong!) did a beautiful floral night scene on an arm and hand, and there were so many more unfortunately I was so enamored with my own tattoo, it was hard to focus. Shyes work can be seen all over town, including one of the dopest portrait pieces of Mr. T. When my arm is done with DK, Im gifting her a leg!I go in Wednesday for the touch up and give DK time to let ideas flow for the week after Thanksgiving, when I officially hand (pun intended) over my arm. Hank is getting a gold tooth, DKs idea!Each tattoo comes with a care package, carefully put together with hand crafted products free of fragrance, chemicals and other additives that can harm a tattoo healing. All made by Travis wife!10/10 will come again, and again, and again.

My partner and I went into this shop to get a memorial piece and made an apt with an artist (DK) for two weeks out. I was specifically looking to get a tattoo of a photo that holds significance to me of a family member who has recently passed away. My partner was looking to get something similar. Almost the full two weeks goes by and the artist still does not reach out to get the photos from me to draw something up. Finally, the day prior to the apt, I called the shop hoping to inquire about the artists process and to touch bases on why the artist had still not requested the photos to draw up and to possibly reschedule to allow more time for the artist. The person who answered the phone told me the artist would call me back. The shop closed at 8PM that day and I never recieved a call back. The day of the apt, 5 hours before the apt time, the artist reaches out to me to get the photos to draw up. This left a very poor taste in my mouth as with my previous tattoos, the artist drew something up to send me prior to the apt. I understand the artist has a process but reaching out five hours before the apt time to draw something up didnt sit right with me. I asked to cancel the apt and to get our deposit back ($300). The artist directed me to his boss, the owner of the business. My partner spoke to the owner on the phone and from the beginning, I could tell she was irritated we had even called. My partner attempted to explain why he was frustrated and she kept trying to get us to come in for the tattoo (despite nothing being drawn up). My partner explained that I had called the day prior and nobody had called back. The owner told my partner that the apt was not canceled 24 hours in advance and therefore a refund was not available. It was at this time, I attempted to explain to her that had Id known the refund would be denied I would have canceled the day prior when I called to attempt to speak with the artist. But since the artist had not called me back, I had no knowledge of their cancelation process nor was this ever explained at the time of making the apt. The owner accused me of yelling at her and of being rude for attempting to explain our frustrations to her. I could tell that she was frustrated as well, but that customer service was not her strong suite. To me, it felt as it she did not care about the concerns we had and was strictly set on telling us it was our fault. Overall, I am very displeased with the way this shop does business. If I could give zero stars, I would.Hopefully this review saves someone else the headache of doing business with this shop.

I couldn’t be more grateful for Travis Brown and the team at Fleshworks Tattoo.I walked in and was greeted so kindly. There were fresh-baked cookies on the counter! I saw the 50+ Tattoo Expo gold medals on the wall and felt confident that I had come to the right place. Travis was so easy to talk to, so accommodating, and willing to work with me to achieve my goals, even though I had originally gotten the outline at a different shop. I am so glad I made the switch! Travis’ wife Cynthia is a total peach who chatted with me and kept me laughing through much of my tattoo. I felt like I was treated like a welcomed friend or a family member. When my first color session was done, I had a hard time peeling my eyes away from the mirror. I am fascinated with how intricately detailed and beautiful my tattoo is becoming! Travis chose the perfect color palette for this piece, and it’s turning out better than I could have imagined possible. The office is clean and neat and the decor is right up my alley with oddities galore! All of the people on staff are top notch, extremely knowledgeable, communicative, and so kind. They really thought of everything - right down to the piece of chocolate in my aftercare pack! The team at Fleshworks also supports local charities and families each year - which makes me so happy to support them. I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else.

Went in to schedule a memorial tattoo. I wanted my best friends fingerprint. There was a waiting list till April. BUT....for whatever reason they got me in THAT EVENING!!! JP did such an amazing job!! The entire shop was so nice!! My husband was waiting with our granddaughter and her friend in the car and when they came in to use the restroom they loaded those girls up on goodies!! I would recommend them not only for the quality work they do, but for the welcoming, homey atmosphere. Truly was a great experience!!

Natalie is AMAZING!! My sister-in-law and I went to get a commemorative tattoo for someone very special in our family, who passed away. Natalie took the photos we sent and created a beautiful image, was so sweet and fun to talk to and work with, and did an incredible job on each of our pieces. I can’t wait to go back to her for more work! I even fell asleep for a few mins during mine 😆. I have been tattooed by Jess a couple times for a large thigh piece, and she is amazing!! I talked with her about what I was looking for and sent her a couple examples of the style I wanted and she came up with the most beautiful design, better than I ever could have imagined. She is a true artist and I am so appreciative of her. The experience at the shop was great, everyone is friendly, its clean, and the bathroom is a cool homage to Stranger Things 🤩I highly recommend Jess, she is definitely worth the wait!

I recently got a partial sleeve tattoo finished with Shye at fleshworks. I don’t have enough good things to say about this place. The location itself is very spacious and comfortable, artists are all incredibly talented, and it was ultimately a great experience. All of that aside, I absolutely love my tattoo.

I came in with an idea and gave the artist full control. Seven months later, the idea was a reality. I got a sleeve that was in full color, no skin showing and for the complexity of the piece, seven months was an insanely fast time line. Chris was the artist in question and did such an amazing job. I have no words to describe how the art came out, other than it being a literal master piece, equivalent to Picasso.The entire shop and everyone in it is extremely friendly and very welcoming. Its a literal family for those guys. They never skimp on the professionalism and the shop is very strict on their cleanliness. The shop owners, Travis and Cynthia are amazing people and care about everyone. Theyre work speaks for itself, given the success of the establishment. Chris, and the other artists are experts. Theyre funny, friendly, clean, and courteous of their clients. The apprentices are very enthusiastic about their work, and they make the place even more at home during your sessions.I couldnt have picked a better place to go to have work done, especially the extent of this project. They took it and ran full speed without worry. All I had to do was show up to the appointment times. I highly highly recommend this place if youre looking at getting work done. I never write reviews but I feel like I have to. I scheduled an appointment with Shye. I gave her a general idea of what I liked. I was nervous for the tattoo because this one was meaningful to me. She designed something for me that was exactly what I wanted. She listened every step of the way. I am not the easiest client as I am perfectionist and she was very patient with me. Best tattoo artist ever she is incredibly talented. Her line work is immaculate. She pays attention to detail and makes everything perfect. The studio is professional, clean, and everyone is super friendly. I have been recommending them to everyone. Get a tattoo here you’ll never regret it. I am honored to be able to rock this piece of artwork for the rest of my life.

I got a piece done by Travis that holds significant importance to me, and I couldnt be happier. The shop is amazingly decorated and furnished and while I waited to set up I had an awesome conversation with Red about nerdy awesomeness. I felt like I was at home the entire time and enjoyed tea and brownies they put out for clients (delicious!). I wanted the piece pretty much as is, and not once did I get pressure to change any of the elements. The tattoo came out way better than my expectations, which were high to begin with knowing how amazing Traviss work always is. I would recommend Flesh works to anyone in need of some ink, without a doubt! Absolutely worth the wait!

I went to high school with Travis back in the late 1900s. He is obviously a very talented artist. His work speaks for itself as he has won numerous awards and done some amazing pieces. I imagine if you wanted to schedule an appointment with him it would take a long time, maybe many months....While his work is obviously 5 stars, as he is among the best of the best. My review is based on his character...I have not spoken to Travis since high school, back then he was a stand up guy who would literally do anything for anyone. Fast forward 20 some odd years and he is doing so much good for his community, he donates his time to cover up mastectomy scars....who does that?? Who literally goes out of there way to arrange for travel and donate his time to help someone who has just literally gone thru hell and back. This world needs more Travis Brown’s.

Me and my buddy went and got some tattoos this guy named Chris was hella chill did my buddy one day and I got an appointment the next day and I love the results they all really care for their work and are a giant family the place is honestly gonna be a the only place I go to for tattoos from now on

I met Travis Brown quite a few years ago down at the Seattle center tattoo convention, where I got my first and only tattoo from Travis Brown, its a hard hat diver holding a mermaid. Its beautiful I have had more comments on that tattoo every year. And I tell them where I got it and who did it. And I was about half scared to get it figuring it was going to hurt like hell, and I didnt even feel it at all he has a very featherlite touch and I recommend him to anybody.

The shop has amazing art and pieces that get you talking. The artist JP Gomez did the tattoo and I was very impressed with his work. I will be back with another idea soon enough. Many thanks to an amazing shop.

Whoever is in need of an amazing tattoo in a really comfortable setting (dog who loves fetch included) should go here. I got my first tattoo in years done by Natalee who is the current vampiric apprentice of Fleshworks and she did above and beyond. She gave me exactly what I was looking for, a watermelon Stevens with a dog companion, and was patient, kind, communicative, and best of all, enthusiastic about doing the tattoo 😊 if an apprentice (*prodigy cough cough*) at this location can give me a piece that instantly helped me feel more comfortable in my body then I can’t imagine what the veterans could produce. Got a tattoo done with Red about a year ago, just a small simple black line tattoo. He chewed tobacco the entire time which felt unsanitary to me, and the lines are not very solid (there are blank areas in the middle of lines).
