Sushi Balloon Body Piercing

Okay so today was my first time visiting a piercing shop in Omaha, and I chose Sushi Balloon! I put a lot of thought into where to go, because its really important to me and kinda nerve wracking trying to find a place thats gonna put a new hole in my face and make it look ✨️dainty✨️Out of all the shops I looked at, this place just really resonated with me and Im so glad I came here to get my labret piercing! The man on the phone (Im bad with names 😬) was really kind and took the time to explain how to set up an appointment and what to expect when I arrive.Today was my appointment and I loved the whole vibe of this shop! They are really friendly, personable, professional, and kind which I greatly appreciate- ultimately making me feel like this was a safe space & I made the right choice! The entire process went smooth, and Abi the apprentice was my piercer. Shes awesome! And I got a $30 discount due to being pierced by her which was rad. 😎Everything was explained in a way that was concise but not too overwhelming. I got a sheet with aftercare instructions and what to expect moving forward (Im AUDHD so Im glad it was on a piece of paper and I didnt have to try to remember everything!) I also got a cup of water, a sucker, and 2 stickers after my piercing bc I was feeling a little light headed. This is the BEST BIRTHDAY MONTH EVERRRR!!!!I have numerous other piercings & Ive been to numerous other shops. This was by far the BEST experience Ive ever had getting a piercing. Its exactly what I wanted, and that means its perfect to me! I think I shall make this my go-to shop, Ill definitely be coming back in the future.Thanks, yall! 🤙I highly reccommend anyone looking to get pierced by the professional peeps at Sushi Balloon! 💖💖💖

I have gone here for most of my piercings and as always, these guys were awesome!I just went in tonight to get a nostril piercing and Kyle did a fantastic job! Very informative about the piercing and after care. Walked me through each step before and during the process.Both Kyle and Abi are so great to work with. They are easy to talk to and are very knowledgeable and welcoming.Their jewelry selection is fantastic and great quality!! There are some beautiful hand made pieces and some new additions as well! I have very sensitive ears and often struggle to find nice affordable jewelry. Here, I have not had any problems with any of the jewelry and have gone back several times to get new pieces.I always leave with a smile on my face and a I feel like a badass now attitude.**My only complaint would be; that I ALWAYS have such a hard time choosing what jewelry I want!!**

Abi and Kyle are kind, passionate, and super professional. I feel safe and valued in their care, and the piercings Ive received from Abi have been excellent. Their studio is way out of my way, but I keep making the trip for all my piercing needs. Only improvement I could imagine would be if they wanted to expand their jewelry collection.Revision: just communicate to them if youre interested in other jewelry options, theyre more than willing to work with you and order what you want if they dont already have it.

The cleanest most professional shop I’ve ever been to! They are very knowledgeable and easy going people. Definitely a great place to get your work or needs done.

I came here last week to get my nip pierced after having one years ago and taking it out because it was crooked, I was nervous to get it done but literally I am so happy I found this place. They were so much more personable here and it was such a private and intimate experience they really make sure to go over everything with you and needless to say my piercing is absolutely perfect. They are amazing 10/10 would recommend and I will definitely be back :)

Kyle truly has the best piercing shop in town. He is thoughtful, thorough, and patient. He explains everything to educate his clients and make them feel comfortable. Such a calm and professional temperament, too.He has also helped me remove all of my 20+ piercings and reinsert them for hospital procedures.I will always recommend clients to Kyle.

I have been going here for my piercings for over a year and do regular check ins. Both Abi and Kyle take their time to set up, clean, and get to know their customers to make them comfortable before piercing. I recommend this shop to all of my friends!! Great quality jewelry and care, not to mention that they will tell you if your anatomy suits something better. Best shop ever!!!

Hands down the best piercing experience I’ve had in all my years of piercings. Kyle is so knowledgeable and comforting, and his apprentice Abi is incredible as well. Highly Recommend. This is the best piercing place in town! Me and my 14 year old daughter did a group appointment which includes up to 2 piercings each. Abi was very knowledgeable about what piercings would be best and how well they would heal based off our ears/noses. They have a nice variety of jewelry and use threaded jewelry which can have longer posts at the time of piercing to allow for swelling and they can be changed out later after the piercings have fully healed. They offer complimentary check ups after your appointment as well. They take extra care in sanitizing all the equipment and seemed SO much cleaner than your typical tattoo/piercing shop. Abi was so sweet and patiently answered all our questions (and we had tons). We will be back! Thanks Abi :)

I have been to many different piercing businesses in Omaha for the last decade and nothing comes even close to Kyle and his team at Sushi Balloon. Kyle is knowledgeable, personable, and an incredible artist. Anytime I visit or have a question, I always feel heard, validated, and included in the creative process. I couldn’t be more happy with the progress we’ve made. Sushi Balloon is truly the BEST for piercings and jewelry.

Abi and Kyle did an awesome job of walking my daughter through the process of piercing and taking care of them while healing. She was nervous going in, but they were so good at hyping her up.

Just took my daughter here to get her ears pierced. If youre looking for a place to take your kid, look no further. Kyle was so amazing with her, so patient and took the time to explain everything to her. He made her feel comfortable and confident. He is great with kids. It was also very clean and sterile and he did a great job. He even squeezed me in between appointments to change my jewelry. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back!

Great experience! Booked a piercing party for three people with seven total piercings and we were in and out in an hour and half. The longest part was selecting the jewelry - lots of great options! Kyle and Abi were both great, very professional but kept a relaxed atmosphere. Will go back for sure!

I absolutely have to give sushi balloon a five star review. I have been seeing Kyle for my piercings for around five or six years now and I don’t think I would go anywhere else. He always makes me feel incredibly welcome, and that I am never a waste of his time. He has a beautiful collection and variety of jewelry and other goodies throughout his shop. Abi is also fantastic and I would be happy to have them pierce me any day as well.

My peircing experience with Abi was amazing! She was super sweet and super helpful with picking out my jewlery and walking me through the process! Paige was also super nice! I will definitely come back for another peircing!

Kyle and his team are amazing! His help and guidance as I tried to change my stud to a hoop was above and beyond what you think of when you think excellent customer service. I was able to book frequent check up appointments as we tried to get it healed, and when it didnt workout for my hoop, Kyle graciously got me fitted for a stud that wouldnt fall out. Even just a few days ago, when I had an accident and it came out, he saw me the same day to get it put back in. I would recommend anyone who needs a piercing go to his shop!

They did great. I didnt have the right ear for an industrial, but he found a way to get me a custom industrial that fit my ear perfectly. 10/10 recommend

Logistically booking and website proved to be very user friendly! A card is needed upon booking an appointment, and isn’t charged until service is completed! Parking is your standard strip mall parking, no problem there.Upon the initial visit and being newer to the Omaha area, I was unsure about what i would find at this Ralston location.I was pleasantly greeted by the owner and jr piercer. This studio/shop was bright and unique, lobby area was well kept, clean and just a neat little space. I arrived to my appointment 15 minutes early to allow enough time to complete paperwork and be settled in. Make sure to bring form of ID! Paperwork was not too hefty and easily laid out, (I didn’t feel like I was having to read through a bunch of legal jargon in tiny font). Only room for feedback would be to maybe make this an online form to be completed at the studio, that was a digital copy can be shared to the client and eco friendly (yay).The owner (solid handshake) was my piercer and let me know that he would perform the service and have his jr piercer observe and assist.One of my favorite parts was the display, it’s not your typical” jewelry store esque” display with hundreds of tiny pieces with minuscule differences where your mind honestly cannot interpret which ones you actually like and be able to distinguish the difference! The selection is curated and trendy without crossing over into that “viral” or “fad” territory. These timeless pieces are very beautiful and I was pleased to hear that he (not sure on pronouns, apologies) sources from different artists who make this jewelry! Makes me feel way better than buying from amazon. He took the time to explain different price points and had me hold the item to see for myself what would work for me.Once jewelry was picked out, he went over total cost of service and jewelry and once we agreed on everything we went to the piercing room(? Not sure if that was the title) and he explained the process and we got some tunes going!Just through conversation about the process, I knew I was in good hands!Everything was clean!! Cannot emphasize this enough!!! The extra sparkle on top of this whole experience was that although I’m just a small little workout girly I didn’t feel out of place at all. The staff here care about what they do and who they’re working with!Pricing at first seemed high for me, but I am not someone who is a regular at a piercing parlor and the last time I did this was college 6 years ago and times(and prices) have changed!Thank you so much Sushi Balloon staff! I hope you liked me as a client and I can’t wait to come back!

I took my daughter here to get her ears pierced and it was a fantastic experience. The process of booking the appointment online was easy. Kyle explained everything about the process in detail and was all around a super nice guy. The studio was easy to find and very clean. We will definitely return for any other piercings in the future.

I took my 15 year old daughter to get the upper part of her ear pierced. Kyle was absolutely amazing with her and made her experience wonderful. He made sure she understood the whole piercing process and thoroughly explained aftercare to her. Kyle was extremely professional and nice. Kyle and Abi are literally the most wonderful humans to stab holes in your body. I have been working with them for the past 3 years to curate a collection of body jewelry that expresses who I am. They have the most extensive sanitation processes ive seen in any studio to the point I would eat off their floor, let alone wear their jewelry.Their selection is world class ranging from cost effective pieces to beautiful high quality jewels. Dont see anything you like? Sick, Kyle can make you something custom.You literally cannot lose here and I will continue to throw my money at them until there is nothing left to pierce.

Kyle at Sushi Balloon pierced my daughter’s ears today and the whole process was above and beyond my expectations as a parent. We had a consultation with him a week ago where he went over the process, answered all of our questions and explained aftercare. It helped my daughter feel comfortable and familiar with the staff and location. Today was the actual piercing appointment and every step was explained which really helped to settle her nerves. She was quite the chatterbox and Kyle was so patient and conversational with her—he is really good with kiddos. I’d definitely recommend their services! Especially if you are looking for a place to have your child’s ears pierced for the first time. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and my daughter is extremely pleased with her new piercings.

After searching for somewhere to take our 6 year old daughter to get her ears pierced for the first time, we found Sushi Balloon and did the consultation with Kyle. Kyle really made our daughter feel comfortable and put us at ease! He answered all our questions and so we decided to set up an appointment. Kyle and his assistant Abi were incredible! They did not rush, RE-explained everything that was going to occur to our 6 year old and did such an amazing job! I would highly recommend Sushi Balloon!

OMG! Amazing experience. First of all the place is so cute, clean, and chill. It’s a total vibe. Put me at ease as soon as we walked in. Kyle and his apprentice Abi were so knowledgeable and nice. My friend and I were in Omaha for the Shania concert and decided to randomly get our noses pierced while here and they talked us through the whole process. They took their time. They helped us pick cute jewelry. And I am a total baby and needle phobe and Kyle really helped me feel comfortable and not scared. If we didn’t live in Denver we would definitely be their new regular customers for all things piercings and tattoo with the Cats Claw Tattoo! 10/10 recommend!

I highly recommend this place! I walked in and got an appointment for an hour later. Both Kyle and Abi were very kind and professional. Abi pierced my eyebrow with Kyle overseeing. She spent time making sure that the piercing placement was perfect and even switching me over to a smaller bar once seeing the original piercing looked too long. I really liked how she communicated what she was doing and when she would touch. It made me feel really comfortable!

Best place I have ever been to for tattoos and piercings. When you walk in the front door, you can not help but notice the difference the place is well lit, extremely clean, and the staff was extremely professional and courteous.My daughter got her belly button pierced at another studio less than 6 months ago and needed an MRI. We contacted the original studio, they informed us that the lady that worked with her was no longer with them and said she was now working for Sushi Balloon. When we called Sushi Balloon we found out she had left the business and we made an appointment for her to get a retainer put in and another appointment to have them swap out again after the MRI.When we arrived for the first appointment my daughter and I both felt comfortable with the decision to take our business to Sushi Balloon. Im getting ready for another tattoo and my daughter wants more piercings in her ears, we are definitely coming back here! The absolute BEST Place in the Omaha Metro.

Kyle has been piercing me for almost ten years, i don’t trust anyone else to stick a hole in my body. he’s very clean with the process and extremely thorough and educating, experience was amazing all around

Kyle is amazing. We brought our daughter there to get her ears pierced and he was so patient, kind and fun with her. She was able to relax and get her ears pierced the right way without using a gun. He went through the care routine with her multiple times to make sure she fully understood how to properly take care of her piercings. I cant recommend them more. Absolutely fantastic.

My fiance and I made appointments to get pierced together! This was hands down the best piercing experience I have ever had. Kyle is super friendly and chill. Communication in the whole process was awesome! I love the honesty and how he will give his professional opinion on if a piercing will work with your anatomy. Booked with Kyle and was informed Abi would be piercing me. She was awesome! Walked through everything with me. I was there to change one nose stud and get a second nostril piercing. Both Kyle and Abi were great with suggesting where my second piercing should go. Abi took her time while placing the dot for the second piercing and made sure I was 100% ok with the placement and I am. Kyle was fantastic piercing my 13 year old daughter’s nose. He talked with her about why she wanted it pierced, the process, the cleaning and maintenance, and how it would impact her in sports (and how to put in a glass retainer during a game). He walked us all through the cleaning and hygiene procedures as he was prepping. He also took the time to fit my already pierced nose for a hoop, and offered to custom order the size needed to make the switch to a hoop. It was by far the best experience I have had with a piercing!

I had the best experience getting my double forward helix and second lobe piercings with Kyle! His studio environment is so welcoming, and Kyle is the most patient, kind, and knowledgeable piercer. The whole experience was such a positive one! He walks you through his selection of high quality jewelry (made in the USA) and doesnt force or pressure you into anything you dont want. Hes upfront with pricing and aftercare, and wont do a piercing if he feels like you wont love the end result. I would highly recommend going to see Kyle for any piercings you need! Abi did my nose piercing about two weeks ago and did an amazing job! It is healing nicely. She was so thorough explaining everything to me, she made sure I was comfortable and walked me through every step. I will def be coming back for any piercing needs! By far the best experience I’ve had in a piercing shop! I visited the shop to watch my niece get her doubles pierced not intending to get anything because it was her appointment. Kyle didn’t even hesitate to make time and help educate me on how to restore my nose piercing. He also took the time to walk me through the proper care and jewelry purchase that would help it get back to the hoop stage. The fact he cared more about helping me save my nose piercing than turning me away because it wasn’t my appointment truly speaks for his dedication to his craft. Over the past year I have gone exclusively to Sushi Balloon for all of my piercing and body modification needs. Ive been to numerous shops across the country and have yet to find neither the service nor the environment that the owner provides here. Incredibly clean, stellar bedside manner, high quality jewelry, and top tier professional piercing skills!

We were visiting from out of town, and had been to multiple shops in Omaha looking to get a piercing for my daughter. Sushi Balloon set the standard for customer service and professionalism. They did a great job! Staff at other shops in town either treated us like we werent worth their time or were stupid for not knowing their process. The side eye from the girl with pigtails at Salvaged Soul was legit next level. Just for walking in the door lol! Sushi Balloon Kyle was so welcoming and professional. I was beyond impressed.

The most sanitary and sterile experience I’ve ever had!! Kyle is very laid back and friendly. He explained everything thoroughly throughout the service and even cleaned everything right in front of me. Highly recommend, I will only be getting my piercings done here from now on.

I haven’t had the best luck or greatest experiences with piercing in the past but Kyle was AMAZING! He made me feel so welcomed and comfortable (even after grabbing a display of earrings and knocking them over 🙈) he’s very nice and fun to talk to…He takes major Pride in cleanliness and sanitation…He knows his stuff and is very informative with before during and after the piercing…His technique is amazing…Definitely will be back for more piercings…Thanks Kyle!

I had the pleasure of having an appointment with Kyle at Sushi Balloon. I had originally found his business on Google. I can’t even express how wonderful this experience was. I don’t know why you’d go anywhere else. The shop was extremely clean and welcoming. Kyle was a wealth of knowledge and extremely big on educating his clients and staying up-to-date with continued education for himself. From the moment I walked into the room he explained everything to me step by step and what to expect. He went through the very thorough sanitization process with me and made sure I felt comfortable with my decision. The whole process was painless. One of the biggest things I admired was Kyle’s passion for what he does, which shines through. It’s extremely hard to find businesses now-a-days that can provide a red carpet experience, and I promise you will not be disappointed. If I could, I would give him 10/10. Hands down, the best piercing appointment I’ve ever had! (And I’ve had a LOT of piercings!) Kyle spent so much time with me today swapping out some old jewelry and adding a daith and flat to my left ear. Appointments are super easy to book online. The studio is clean and welcoming. The jewelry selection is amazing and I was asked about budget and given price quotes before we got started. I’ll be checking back with Kyle in a month to make sure everything is healing well. The whole process was great! Highly recommend!

I had a fantastic experience with Kyle! I got my cartilage pierced a while back and had a follow up jewelry change. He remembered me from the first time I was there and we had a nice chat! A week later he messaged me to see how I was doing. It was great. The new location looks so fantastic. It is very clean- I felt very safe getting a piercing done. He has a great selection of jewelry! It was so reasonably priced as well. If he pierced your ear, he will change your jewelry for free, all you have to pay for is the jewelry. Overall, it was just a fantastic experience. I would never go anywhere else for a piercing!!

After I accidentally ate my piercing Kyle was able to size, order, and change out my piercings. I was worried because it’s a unique piercing, but he found the perfect replacements! I definitely will be going back!

I will never get pierced anywhere else!! I got my doubles and conch the first time around and Kyle was extremely helpful, so nice, so informative. I had a little trouble with the healing process because of the long post and I kept sleeping on it. but when I went in again more than a year later for my triples, he remembered me mentioning the irritation I got from the longer posts and gave me shorter posts without me even asking! Kyle is so attentive and awesome. He will not disappoint, I promise!

Y’all!!!! If you even consider going anywhere else for your piercings than to Kyle, you should reconsider. He is the absolute best piercer I have ever had the pleasure of getting pierced by. He makes you feel so comfortable by answering any questions, walking through with you what will work best for you anatomy and how the process will go, gives amazing aftercare advice, and is the least painful piercer I’ve been pierced by. He listens and helps diagnose problems if they arise. He also has a gorgeous display of jewelry that fits anyone’s style. I even ordered a custom piece from him AND he suggests pieces to elevate my existing piercings. He sat down with my at my first appointment with him and we created a curated look for my ear with existing piercings and new ones I would eventually get. I got to visually see what he’d suggest putting where and what jewelry I wanted. He quoted out the price and it made it very easy to slowly work towards a goal that I was in love with. I honestly can’t say enough good things. I will never go to anyone else ever again. Oh! And the sanitation and cleanliness is OUT OF THIS WORLD!

I’ve gone to many shops, and have had a plethora of experiences. Kyle was hands down amazing, good communication knows his jewelry like the back of his hand, extremely informative and just a very down to earth guy. Kyle pierced my 12-year-old sons earlobe. He is patient, kind, and GREAT with kids. He has a wide selection of studs for the piercing and explained the care of the piercing. We have had no problems with the healing process. I wouldnt take my child anywhere else.
