This place is awesome. The atmosphere was welcoming and warm. My artist Nic was awesome and was very helpful with my first tattoo, all the while we talked music and life. Definitely made a customer and a friend out of me!

Stopped in to Squid Ink with an idea and Nic brought it to life. This is a coverup of an old faded tattoo. What and upgrade! Nic is a true artist and professional. Cannot thank him enough. We spent the time quoting eighties movies and talking music. Cannot wait to get the wife in there for her first Squid Ink Tattoo!

Nic did excellent work with me today. Excellent bedside manner. We had a lot of fun designing and working on my tattoo. I would highly recommend coming here if you want excellent detail, fine lines, and a fun experience. He priced me fairly and had excellent communication with me before and during the process. I will absolutely be coming back here to get more work done. I had a larger tattoo done and I plan to get a sleeve with it done by him.

I don’t know about Nick, but a lady answered the phone and after I asked basic questions inquiring about a simple smiley face tattoo, she was very dismissive and disrespectful and even called me rude for asking about a store minimum. Before calling this shop, I called 6 other tattoo shops around the area and all of them gave me a store minimum upfront without me even asking. This is information a customer is entitled to know upon wanting services. Nick may be a great guy, but whoever is answering the phone at this establishment deterred us from ever going here. Just to let you know, we ended up getting the tattoos somewhere else and our experience was amazing. :)

Love my tattoos from both Kyle (visiting) the whale tail and Nick the owner, finished it off with a galaxy.....because Mark was my world.

10/5 stars!! Nic worked with me on a big coverup job and it turned out phenomenal! Felt right at home in the shop, great conversation and incredible new art! I have around 20 tattoos and this was the best experience I’ve ever had. I would highly recommend working with Nic on your next piece! I definitely will be!

Good people, family owned which is awesome. I got color in my arm and he even touched up the line work on it. I have the unfinished tat for 7 years and he made it look great

Squid Ink in Pensacola is without a doubt one of the cleanest, reputable and nicest family owned Tattoo shops around. My wife and myself had a wonderful experience while she had an anklet Tattoo done over some scars from a previous injury and myself, I had a half sleeve done while incorporating and existing Tattoo that was more than 30 years old. It has never looked this great ever. I wouldnt hesitate to visit Nick and his family for all future endeavors.

I love Squid Ink! I was so sad when I had to leave Pensacola because I was leaving my favorite artist. Nic and his wife are so nice and so easy to get along and talk with! They were very professional and I just loved my time there plus the tattoos were amazing! They were genuinely excited about my tattoos and it made the experience so much better than other shops. I would recommend this place to everyone in the Pensacola area it’s such a hidden gem!! I wish I could give more than 5 stars, 10/10 recommend

Tattoos and a Testimony. Nic and Oliver were awesome. My brother and I did the get what you roll. It was fun and while we got our tattoos Nic shared his testimony with us. It was great. We will definitely being going back for more.

I was trying to get a half sleeve and made an appointment and put a deposit down and when i arrived at my appointment and came inside i was approached by Nic the tattoo artist and he said he cannot do it because it conficts with his religion (no biggie) but completely wasted my time i took off of work to come in and now im leaving empty handedStill trash service i dont care what your reply says 🤷🏼🤷🏼🤷🏼🤷🏼 more than likely the best thing i did was walking out of your tin can you under train your staff to have them waste peoples time you literally looked at my arm and said you can do it then waited until i got there to tell me nevermind im a christian and i cant cover a outdated cross tattoo that looks horrible and could use covered up

Nic and his family are fantastic. They do great work. I’ve gotten two tattoos there and have taken my family there for some of theirs. We all love the work that we got and will be going back for more. They are easy to work with, offer artistic guidance while giving you exactly what you want.Thanks again Nic and Ollie.

Great shading, great tattoos. I loved his artwork, it was simply amazing, I have multiple tattoos and this was one of the best experiences Ive had.

From meeting with Nic and discussing my tattoo to getting the ink laid, the whole experience was excellent. He understood my vision and made something that Im proud to show off. The shop was super clean and had a wonderful, inviting aesthetic.

My wife and I got an amazing panda and penguin tattoo. Nick was professional and made you feel comfortable. We didnt have to wait long, and he gave us both a matching tattoo that we absolutely love! Highly recommend.

This tattoo artist didnt listen to what I was looking for, charged more than what was originally discussed and has not returned any calls to set up the much needed touch up. My tattoo is a black ink 5 word saying and 3 of the words are unreadable. My recommendation is drive the extra miles and go where they take pride in their work and have good work ethics.

I shopped around the area for awhile before choosing Squid Ink. And boy am I glad I found Nic!! Nic is the owner of the shop and is an amazing artist. Nic worked with me to translate the design I had in my head into a truly amazing tattoo. The whole experience was lovely, he was very friendly, efficient with my time and had the perfect touch. I was surprised to learn the shop hosts concerts for local and traveling musicians, and is also a screen printing shop. I can hardly believe such an awesome place exists, and right down the street from Waffle House. Very good vibes coming from Squid Ink for sure!!

The shop is clean and homey. The artist and staff are friendly and kind. The work was well done. However, be warned if you are not Christian as the artist will use his time with you proselytizing.

It is with tremendous disappointment that I have to provide a horrible negative review. Nic not only did not listen to what I wanted but completely drew something he wanted. Didnt remember where I wanted and was even drawn at at entirely unusable size. Set up another appointment, showed up and he wasnt there!! Then at the third appointment he said he was not going to design the tattoo that I wanted and there is no refunds.The single most disappointing proprietor in the Pensacola area. Almost as if it were a scam but I see that someone took the time to post something positive so he must have at least done a tattoo or two.

I got this tattoo mid July of this year and it has already faded beyond recognition. The picture pretty much speaks for itself. I went back to the tattoo place to show him and see if he could fix it, and he was non responsive. Very unprofessional and a very poor quality tattoo that lasted all of 3 months before fading.

Thank you Nic for a amazing tattoo. It’s more amazing then I a imagined it would be. I will be sure to tell everyone I know about your shop. Definitely will be back for more tattoos.

Nic does AMAZING work, is highly professional, and is extremely invested in ensuring whatever ink you get done, is done right, and looks right. Takes pride in what hes doing, and will talk to you about what youre wanting done.Defiantly come on by, hell take whatever basic idea you have and make it Pop even more.
