Modern Ink Tattoo

My girlfriend and I went for a walk in tattoo. They were able to get mine done same day but we walked in pretty late in the day so we had to push hers back a day. Both tattoos turned out amazing! The artist that we both went to was Bo. I highly recommend him and I will be working with him more to get some of my ideas put to paper then to skin.

Loved that I ended up going to this place specifically. I googled all the artists instagram profiles before going here and loved the tattoos theyve done... ended up showing up without an appointment and only waited about 15 minutes, got tattooed by Bo Banks, super comfortable and friendly and understanding. His line work is precise perfect, I loved my tattoo just waiting to heal now. I recommend this place, everyone that works there is friendly and helpful.

Went in for a Friday the 13th tattoo, had a great experience. Bob was my tattoo artist and I would HIGHLY suggest booking with him next time. He was attentive, professional and made me feel comfortable the entire time. Offered honest opinion and helped me decide on finalizing the rest. Straight lines and shading was on point! Ill be back for more. Thank you for the great work and it making me feel welcomed.

I had an amazing experience. The staff was friendly, experienced, and knowledgeable. Bo took a tattoo I’ve hated for years and turned into something absolutely beautiful and was really understanding about what I wanted. He also worked with me to get a stunning piece within my budget. It had been a while since my last tattoo and the wrist can be a spicy area but he took great care of me and made sure I was comfortable. By far the best tattoo experience I’ve had. Thanks guys!

Professionalism, cleanliness, exceptional artistry are just some of the things that come to mind when reflect on upon my experiences at Modern Ink Tattoo and with my artist Johnny. Remembering back to my first visit I was greeted promptly and immediately felt at home. The shop has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Great energy between the staff and guests. Luckily for me, I met with Johnny who was already with a client, but was kind enough to make time to not only listen to what I wanted to do, but he was also able to accommodate my busy schedule by making time for me that day! I was seeking a “traditional style”, nautical ship scene and Johnny made it happen! Not only did it come out better than I imagined, but also Johnny is hilarious and made the hours go by like nothing. Since then I’ve been back twice to work on my sleeve which is an ongoing project. I cannot emphasize enough how much I’ve enjoyed working with my artist Johnny at Modern Ink Tattoo!!

Scheduled an appointment with Hannah and she was amazing! She communicated very well prior to appointment day. The day of, she was very friendly and gave such a great vibe. Amazing way to start my day. I cant wait for the next one.

Went & checked out Modern Ink for the first time yesterday & i have nothing but good things to say! Overall was such a wonderful experience, i had called around noon to see if they had any openings for a walk in such as myself & by 4:30 i was being taken care of by Mr. Bo ! I showed him a couple photos of what i kind of wanted, i let him do his thing & i absolutely love it :)) Bo was so nice, as was everyone else in the shop that day, lots of laughs over there ! i will most definitely be back soon ( & have already recommended a few friends ) could not be happier !!

This shop is great! Super clean and everyone was very nice. My brother and I went in for our first tattoos and we both got ours done by Jianna. She is a wonderful artist. WOW, WOW, WOW! Tonight I got my first tattoo & I cannot say how much my father and I adored our artist and this shop. Shop is so clean and also super nice, the artists have their stations more personalized which was so cool to me. All the artists make you feel so welcomed. Our artist, Mike G, was so kind and really communicative when telling me the options he could do with the dimensions that I had chosen. He was also very open to hearing our opinions on the sketches that were made and accommodating them as much as he possibly could. I asked, last minute, if I could add a few colors to mine and he was more than happy to. Our tattoos came out so amazing, exactly as we imagined. Mike was freaking awesome, so many laughs and just an incredible night and memory my dad and I will always have here. Dad and I got Superman tattoos together as that has always been “our thing”.

I went here a week ago and had Steve do my cover up on my forearm. I will add I researched and sought out Steve. The piece of art he created was unbelievable. Ive had tattoos for many years and I can confidently say all mine now look like amateur hour compared to the quality of work Steve puts out. He truly cares about what he is doing and took time to research what I wanted, design, proper placement, color placement. Every step was done with precision and careful planning. His wait time between reaching out and the finished work was 1 month. Once your piece is designed to your liking the booking process after that was a really short amount of time. He is also super easy to work with. My pain tolerance is not as high as most and he had no problem stopping when i needed it. He was never rude, cocky or arrogant. Absolutely great experience. He will forever be mine and my husbands go to artist. To add, one week later and my piece looks incredible. Healed nicely and the wrap he used was awesome I had no reaction to it at all which i usually do. The shop was also very clean and all the staff was very friendly.

Found this shop highly rated online and must say it lives up to the hype!! Clean shop where everyone is solid and knowledgeable. My artist Bo Banks took what I wanted and helped make improvements and when it was all said and done the outcome was sick!! Will be going back for my girlfriend’s piece too!!

My mom and I went in for small matching tattoos today. Jacob was friendly and drew up the tattoo exactly as I had it pictured in my head. He was very sanitary, quick, and talented. Not much more you could ask for.Price was fair and shop was very nice and clean. Highly recommend

There is nothing bad anyone can say about the shop! Everyone who works there is so friendly and helpful, it doesnt matter if its your first tattoo or your 100th, they will help. Hannah has been incredible to my wife and I and we are always blown away with the work she does. Ive referred her to a handful of other people now who would all say the same. Went in about 2 months ago to get a snake band tattoo from bamboo. The head shape is strange and fat, Lines were done very poorly and ink wasnt packed well. A month ago I got a touch up and it didnt improve the packing or lines in the slightest. The pictures are of the tattoo fully healed after the touch up, and you can notice the errors I mentioned. I added another picture showing what I asked for to give you an idea. At this point its pretty much ruined, other more reputable artists have said its ruined and they wouldnt touch it, and that at this point my only option is to get it removed with a Laser. I would recommend avoiding this shop to anyone who want to get anything more complicated than a stick figure.

By far the best environment to get a tattoo done! I spent some hours here with Ryan and I’ll just say I won’t use anyone els for my tattoos again! The work he does is amazing and always turns out better than what I imagined. He has done both my sleeves and he doesn’t hesitate to make sure his clients are as comfortable as possible. Also not to mention everyone els in there are super friendly and just all around great people. I highly recommend stopping in if you’re looking to get some work done.

A friend and I were able to do a walk-in. The studio is clean and open. The front desk and artist were friendly and welcoming. We had to wait a bit and went to the little crystal shop next door, which was a great way to kill time. The artist, jjrenae, worked with me on the design, was patient when I wanted to move the stencil, and gave me a beautiful tattoo. Will be back for sure!!!

First let me start by saying this place was amazing! My husband and I got tattoos by Terry and he was so friendly and amazing, honestly one of my fav artists! He really understood what we were looking for and delivered! He captured the meaning behind the tattoos and I couldn’t be prouder to show our tattoos off! Michael the front desk guy was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable! He set the mood when we first walked in! My husband and I will definitely be back! We trust Modern Ink Tattoos with all of our future tattoos and we will definitely recommend Modern Ink Tattoos for anyone thinking about getting a tattoo!

Hannah could not have made us feel more welcomed and comfortable. The quality of the tattoo is very good and the price was reasonable. I am looking into having her do a larger piece in the near future.

They have random gum ball machine tattoos! Got one with my friend near closing time and the artists were more than happy to oblige. The designs in the gum ball machine are varied, none of them bad or embarrassing from the several I’ve seen…No spoilers…Johnny was my artist and he put as much care into it as if it was a planned piece, despite it being some fun random flash. The parlor itself is comfortable and easy to relax in. All the staff were easy-going and fun to talk to, and most importantly make clean lines. Immediately scheduled an appointment to get something a little more planned-out.

UPDATE: got in contact with owner, very cooperative and helpful!Great atmosphere & awesome that they take walk-ins all day. However, the price that I paid compared to the quality of my tattoo doesnt add up. My tattoo is missing spots of ink and my lines are also very shaky. Will definitely have to get touched up somewhere else.. Im super unhappy with this. My friend also got a tattoo and has the same issues (same artist) I paid $250 for a tattoo that took 30 mins and the quality is just not there. I have no problem with the price so long as the work meets the expectation of having clean & completed lines, this wasnt the case. I also got the tattoo on my arm and he didn’t shave it before the tattoo? I will not be going back.

Amazing environment!! Very clean very professional! Steve went above and beyond!! I gave him a rough idea what I wanted and he completely amazed me!! What I asked for was definitely a unique design and definitely one that to was specific to me for a specific reason for the design!! He blew me away with what he came up with!! Steve is an AMAZING artist and puts so much detail and care in to this work. He took what I asked for and turned it into an amazing one of a kind work of art!!! Already have a second tattoo in the works with him!!!!

My mom and I came in for my first tattoo and an add on to one of hers. They were so nice and it was very clean. They were able to fit us in last minute after being stood up somewhere else. We got our tattoos by their guest artist Javier and he did an amazing job. He was very friendly and made the whole experience perfect.

There was 3 of us trying to get tattoos at this other place but they were fully booked! So we called modern tattoo and asked if they were available for 3 of us and they said yes if we come now! We were 8 min away! We got there and they took us In, there was only one person in front of us took less than 30min. It looked very sanitized, very clean and friendly. Went to this shop on a whim for matching tattoos with my sister and another for my aunt because my usual shop was booked up. They took all of us in no problem. The shop was beyond clean and Johnny did an awesome job on all of our tattoos. He took our weird idea and turned it into something great. I called many places determined to get a tattoo done, times are crazy right now and of all the places I called they were the only ones taking walk ins. I was looking for something somewhat small and a new artist to try before I get my daughter her first one for her birthday. My friend and I went in and Steve told me he’d have to draw it up and he’d get mine completed in the next couple of days. He called me the next morning and I was in within the next hour. I shared a couple pictures with him and he showed me what he thought would be better and I loved it!. Now, let me say this... I was kind of nervous even with it being my fifth one. I decided to get it on the top of my foot and have heard many stories about the pain of getting it in that particular spot. He was very straightforward and prepared me for what was to come, even the pain.... which surprisingly wasn’t as bad as I expected. Steve has an amazingly delicate hand and pays such close attention to every detail to make sure it’s perfect and I am so happy with the way my tattoo came out. Thank you so much Steve for what might be a small tattoo, but means the most to me over all my others since it represents my daughters and I. I will literally never see another artist besides him for any future tattoos for myself and for my daughters first one.

At an appointment for 1:30pm payed upfront to reserve that time and was even 20 minutes early and multiple hours later not one employee ever said anything to me or even helped me phones rang and werent answered and I never got my tattoo.

I found Modern Ink through a family friend. I contacted Stephen and I am extremely happy I did! He was very professional and has great communication! He fit me in last minute and I couldn’t be happier with the tattoos or service I received. He has great attention to detail and I will definitely be scheduling with him again! Also, Modern Ink was very clean and very professional as well!

Great service and Bergen was my guy. Hopefully I spelled that right.... oh boy. Super clean and colorful in there and ran like a well-oiled machine. They actually managed to get my girlfriend and who came along with me to be support. Prices are reasonable and everybody is super nice I will go back there to get another tattoo covered up.

My tattoo artist was Bo as I was a walk in, one of the very few shops taking walk ins right now. From when I stepped in, the shop had all around good vibes. I feel like most tattoo artists try to always give their input on what they want to do with your tattoo, but not Bo. Although he gave me artistic suggestions (can’t write symbols vertically) he reassured me that it’s my tattoo and my body so however I want it he’ll do it. Definitely a badass, humble tattoo artist. I will definitely suggest Bo/Modern Ink to all of my friends!

Came in today to have my moms eyebrows done and Jordan absolutely blew me away with how personable, professional, and precise she is! My situation stems from many years ago. I had a very large tribal on my forearm that countless tattoo artists over the years refused or just didnt have the vision to cover up. I wanted to do something to honor my late Grandmother and when I showed Steve this horrible tattoo on my arm, it didnt phase him at all. He welcomed the challenge and covered it up amazingly with an elephant pictured in his portfolio. I then went back to Steve to finish the lower half of my arm which will eventually turn into a full sleeve. The artwork is impeccable and Steves attitude, care and vision honored my grandmother in ways I cant Express. I know in my heart she would be proud. If you are looking for a tattoo shop, Modern Inc is a must.

I received four tattoos from Jordan of varying complexities. Some tattoos came out beautifully, some were very wobbly, with blowouts and inconsistent color packing. Get Jordan on a good day - if shes tired or grumpy, she will rush your tattoo. She also has copied references entirely and will not draw her own work. If you bring this to her attention, she will become very frustrated and hostile with you. Id forgo color entirely - shes not comfortable with it but will attempt it anyway, and just do it poorly.

I went here for my first tattoo and wasn’t sure on what to expect, Jordan was so sweet and made me feel so comfortable definitely not going to any other artist besides her, and will recommend her to everyone I know!

Johnny Tattooie did an amazing job on my tattoo for my kids! I am completely in love with it, he made it almost painless by keeping the conversation going and signing songs with my sister and I. I haven’t gotten a tattoo in a while and I made an appointment to see Jordan. I get there and wait about 40 minutes past the time we agreed on. Then she comes out to tell me that it will be 5-10 more mins and I say okay. Next thing I know, she pawns me off on a guy that looks like a crackhead when now there’s less than an hour left to work with. My husband and I were able to walk in today with barely a wait. There was great customer service by the guy at the front, a good atmosphere and Jordan did an amazing job. I would definitely recommend!

I had Hannah & she was amazing! I gave her an idea of what I wanted for my finger tattoos and she did such a good job. I will definitely be seeing her for my touch ups & any others I want to do!

Went in on a Sunday afternoon as a walk-in asking for 3 matching tattoos & Jordan got us in the same day! She was very nice and welcoming. She made sure we got exactly what we asked for & her lines were clean.

Came in for 6 smaller tattoos and absolutely love them all! Johnny is amazing, the shop is clean and a good environment, I have nothing bad to say.

Came in as a walk in to get my son and daughters name on my arm, Steve happily took me on as his client and did an amazing job!!Few weeks later I scheduled an appointment to come back to have a cover up done. $200 for a 3 color,2 inch penguin . Every outline( just about) is blowout. The artist kept boasting about his state of the art equipment but could not use it correctly. Ink went in too deep. The shop itself is nice but what’s it matter if you have regrets??

Me and my boyfriend walk-in and Art came up to us help us with tattoos but told us a price then when we got up there change the price to 100.00 more then when we went back for a touch up they said touch ups are 50.00 never heard of a tattoo place charging for ur first touch up u should guarantee your work! Bad customer service would not go back there!
