Awesome experience this week at Rebel Heart. Karin is super-talented, professional & calming. Ive been wanting this tattoo for 8 years, since a friend of mine created the graphic after the Pulse nightclub tragedy. The time was finally right, and Karin nailed it!

Karin is an amazing artist. Which is what we (my husband and I) were looking for someone to tattoo during our wedding. We asked Karin if she would be interested? She immediately said she would do it. My wedding guests loved this idea. Then less than a month later, I was scheduled to have some more work done on my 1/2 sleeve. She added the hibiscus flowers and I am in love.Karin has been my tattoo artist for 11 years. She takes my crazy visions and makes them a reality. Like Grogru or a Darth Vader Sugar Skull! She listens to her clients and provides them with exactly what they want and how beautiful it is on the body.She creates a very open and friendly space for all people, especially those in the LGBTQIA+ community.

Karin is the best! I come in every couple of years to give my half sleeve that she did 8 years ago a little face lift. The shop is clean and the artwork is thought provoking and interesting. Best place in the Peoria area to get a tattoo. Book in advance because she’s in demand.

Karin did an amazing job on my peach tattoo, I’m still blow away by how cute it is, and I love the color palette she chose for it. The environment was laid back, and comfortable. Booking was super simple, can’t wait to go back for a new one in a couple weeks 🫶🏻

This place is seriously amazing, I got my first tattoo here by Karin and would recommend to everyone!! I had a bad experience at another shop, and from the first time I talked to Karin she made me feel comfortable and brought to life exactly what I wanted. The shop owner and artist, Karin, is so skilled!! The shop is well kept and inviting, as well as being a lgbtq+ friendly establishment! Karin always listens to what I want and takes everything I’m thinking of into consideration while she creates a design that is beyond what I could have ever hoped for! I feel relaxed, respected, and like I’m in good hands when I’m in her chair. I always leave so happy with the outcome and get so many compliments on my tattoos done by Karin! 10/10 best experience!

Fantastic tattoos and awesome company! Rebel Heart is a safe and welcoming environment, which is important to me as an LGBTQ person. Karin goes out of their way to ensure client comfort and satisfaction. Tattoos hurt, but I still had a ton of fun getting tatted!

I had the best experience with Karin and their shop! It was a super comfortable atmosphere and I felt 100% welcome and safe in a LGBTQ + affirming shop. The work they did was exactly what i wanted and turned out amazing. Would definitely recommend to anyone and I will be back!

I have found my new fav tat shop. Karin is a stellar artist, has great suggestions for placement/size, and the work I got done was exactly what I wanted.If you’re timid about trying a new shop (or your first shop!), hesitate no more! You won’t be disappointed . Walking into Rebel Heart felt like a cushy hug. Or a warm cottage in the winter where I don’t have to pay for the heating bill. Or a day at the beach with plenty of Vitamin D and a nice breeze to keep your temp perfect. Or a sigh of relief that Tattoo shops CAN ACTUALLY be friendly and welcoming and not awkward.

Took my 18 year old daughter for her first tattoo. Extremely clean and personable shop. Karen did an amazing job. We will Def be back.

Karin is one of the best. Hands down. Insanely down to earth for a comfortable experience (esp for you new tattoo goers!!), her line work is amazing, black & grey, and color work… she’s just an all around amazing human and artist!!!!!!!

An amazing artist. Very skilled in broad range of styles, portrait, cover ups you name it. She is crazy creative. Tell her what you are thinking and she will come up with some dupe stuff!Plus Karin us really fun to hang out with!
