Scott and his Girls are so professional. I have been going to him for over 10 years. I took my daughter for her first ear piercing and now shes hooked. I wouldnt go to anyone else unless he moves out of state or retires. I would recommend him to anyone. Hes the best. Thank you Melano.

Extremely professional and clean. It felt like a hip doctors office, in a good way. I only purchased a new eyebrow piercing but they changed it out for me for free, and on top of that, he cleaned out the gunk that my old jewelry created. Quick, simple, effective. I would definitely come back.

I have been suffering from migraines forever. The side effects from the medications Ive taken have been horrible. Ive always heard that migraine piercings work, I didnt think they would. When I left. Left. I still had a bit of a migraine but I was driving down the road without my sunglasses on and didnt even notice it. I can never be outside without sunglasses. I have not had a migraine in 3 months. This place is awesome. I would recommend it to everybody that suffers from migraines

I called and made an appointment on the same day. I was a little nervous, but the guy who did the piercing was very professional, clean, and funny. I got two piercing same day on my lips after the first was done I started to sweat and felt a little nauseous but he noticed right away and took very good care with making me feel better and got my second one done before I knew it.I just went back after two weeks to get a shorter stud and again very professional, clean and nice. Will be definitely going back there when I want to get more piercing.And they have a decent selection of all kinds of different jewelry and gages. Decent prices as well.

Milanos used to be fantastic thats where I would always come to get my peircings. Very clean and sterile. Scott is a great peircer. My last few visits I was left unsatisfied. I felt the reception area people were very cold and unwelcoming and snooty. And the last few times I have always felt rushed and not gotten exactly what I wanted which is disappointing considering how expensive it is. I feel like milanos has kind of lost its touch :(

Scott and his staff are skilled, professional, and fun. The atmosphere is inspiring and very clean. A little pricey, but it is justified for the experience.

Review update. Its been a few years with my cartilage piercings. I never ran into issues with infections or unwanted bumps. If I have any minor imitation with a jewelry change I hit it with the salt mist a couple of times and the irritation is gone. My initial review was awesome, bit pricey. My updated review is Awesome, you absolutely get what you pay for, and its worth it! All of the jewelry I purchased with the piercing looks the same as it did a few years ago. No signs of aging. I am still highly satisfied with my piercings.

Amazing! the staff to the procedure there’s nothing but amazing to describe them!super allergic to almost everything and I got my nose pierced here and not once had an issue and was taken care of amazingly before/during and after!!

What a great experience. This studio is extremely clean, organized, professional and friendly. Scott, the owner, is a complete perfectionist and extremely sanitary, it’s as if you are in the hospital, in a good way! My two daughters had their ears pierced and after having had them pierced at mall type places, this is SUCH a better way! The girls tell me their ears do not even hurt, they can’t even tell they were pierced earlier today. Don’t go to the mall, this is the place to go. You will be so completely pleased, as am I.

I have been coming in to get piercings done with Scott since I was 18 years old. I’m now almost 40. He and his staff have always been very knowledgeable and helpful with any and all of my needs. The store itself is very clean and tidy. His work is done with so much care he always makes me feel safe and comfortable. Such a sterile, clean, and incredibly inviting environment. Appreciate his professionalism and knowledge. Would absolutely recommend coming here to get any work done never been disappointed never had any issues.

I love Scott, the owner. I have gotten 4 different ear piercings, 2 nostrils, and a septum. All healed within a month. His technique is amazing and the place is super clean.

Fabulous piercing parlor. Generally they only accept reservations but there have been instances where I was able to walk in and get stuff done. The head piercer is very experienced and the entire building is very clean. There is a separate, private room for the piercings that’s always spotless every time I go in.They have a fair amount of selection for body jewelry but nothing too crazy. They’re a little more expensive than some others, with most basic silver barbells being $40 minimum. Prepare to have at least $60-$200 on hand depending on what you want, as they charge both for the jewelry and “per poke”, if you will.Overall I’ve had nothing but good experiences and friendly staff interactions, but might not be the best for piercings on a budget. Would recommend to anyone looking for a safe, clean, reputable piercing experience.

Scott has done three ear piercings, including one in my cartilage, and a nose piercing. I would never consider anyone else, he is simply the best. He is friendly and efficient and will answer any questions and explain the procedure without hesitation

I’ve tried to come to the store a few times in the past couple months and they are always closed. Their sign says open until 8, Google says until 5:30. Super frustrating when I show up at 4:00 and it’s closed.

I went here to get my hood done since nobody anywhere else that I knew of did them. My mother got hers done 19 years ago with Scott, and now I got mine done. He was very quick and very helpful. I dont think I was in his piercing room for longer then 10 minutes. He was very clean and professional.Sure, some people are turned away because one piercing jewelry can be $100-$200, but you are paying for quality. My hood piercing was $160. From now on I think Ill be sticking to Scott instead of my previous piercer.

Was able to make an appointment 30 minutes after my call, when I arrived the lady at the front counter was extremely nice and helped me pick the best size for my piercing. The wait was short and the piercier was phenomenal, quick and almost painless. Wonderful all around will be going back for more!

My 9 year old has an amazing experience here. So much so that she told the gals up front that she would only go to Milanos for future piercings. I agree with her.

I purchased an opal eyebrow ring for my wife from here years ago. Last night she lost one of the balls, so I stopped by after work to see if they sold replacements and if not maybe just purchase a whole new piece for me wife. I was informed that they couldnt sell me a piece of jewelry without the piercer putting it in themselves! How ridiculous! We only needed a piece of jewelry, not a piercing! Since my wife doesnt need people to put her jewelry in for her, we wont be returning. Disappointed with this.

My experience here was not the best. I went here based off of many highly rated recommendations. I scheduled my piercing to be completed during my one hour lunch break from 12-1. I showed up at 12 on the dot and was informed by the receptionist that Scott (the piercer) had ‘just left’ to grab lunch and would be back shortly. Since I had an appointment, I’m not sure why that would be a good time to grab food? Anyway, the receptionist lady was very young and after telling me to take a seat, just sat and played on her phone. She made no effort to converse or make me feel welcome. I was the only other person in the shop and felt very awkward and out of place. After about 20 minutes Scott walks in, lunch in hand, and curtly informs us he’d eat his lunch and be right with me. So in all about 35-40 minutes past my appointment time, he finally calls me back. There wasn’t much conversation. I didn’t find him to be warm or welcoming. The shop was clean, and he explained the process well, but those are honestly the only two positives I can pull out from my experience. This shop is very popular, so I’m sure this review won’t make a difference either way to their business - when you’re this busy I suppose it doesn’t matter if you inconvenience a customer or two. I wound up being late back to work and spent a lot more money than I ever had at any other piercing studio. My piercing healed nicely, so no complaints there, but I would not return or take my kids here.

I went in the shop with money, even willing to buy new jewelry because of store policy, met with the owner, horrible person, tried to sell me new piercing and jewelry that I didnt need, I have had my two (2) ear piercing for 30years, I just am not able to put the jewelry back in, in the mirror, they have these little balls that go in the middle, super hard to put back in, they dont even sell them anymore, I have no one to help me, my son failed, the owner tried to say the holes closed up and would need to be re-pierced, ($) hog wash I told him, he basically lied to my face, walked out, never be back, found out that other people have said the same, owner is horrible person, I finally found a friend to could put them back in, and it was tuff for her too, but no problems with the hole and jewelry, dont recommend this place, I dont right reviews either, but I feel like I needed to after meeting with the owner

Took my daughter here to get her ears pierced for the first time. Scott was fabulous! He made her feel at ease, talked her through the whole process and after care. The store and piercing room are spotless! His staff is very knowledgeable and personable. They really went above and beyond with their customer service. I would highly recommend this business!

My daughter recently got her ears pierced and I am so glad we went to Milano’s. I have had friends in the past who have all had great experiences and that is why I chose to go here. It’s nice to go into a place that looks clean, feels clean, and IS clean. The staff are very friendly and timely and I have had great experiences both times that I have came in for my daughters ear piercings. Scott Milano has also been great on both occasions and I am overly happy with the work that he did. My daughter is home and can’t stop looking at herself in the mirror!

I got my septum pierced at Milano and had a great experience! The shop was super clean, and the receptionist (sorry I didnt catch her name!) and Scott were so incredibly helpful. They answered all of my questions, and were patient and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Had a wonderful time with my kids. We came to have my oldest get her second piercing and my middle child to get her ears done for her sweet 16. The girls were both quite nervous, but the staff was super welcoming and comforting and calming. We have a short video of my eldest getting her nose pierced that literally ends with the words Oh... Was that IT?Will be returning for any future piercings, most certainly. After seeing many local people recommend this place, I chose to go in and get a couple of piercings. It is clean and the environment is relaxing.I got a helix and a stud next to the hoop in my nose. I hadnt gotten a new piercing in about 15 years so some things have changed since then. The person at the counter helped fill in the details for me and get me back up to date. This was my first experience getting a cartilage piercing so I dont have a comparison but it was nearly painless! I probably could have slept through it. I do have experience with my nose being pierced and I recall it making my eyes water and being a little more painful the first time. My experience here was quite different. My eyes didnt water at all and it only pinched a slight bit. No real pain with it. Only tenderness afterwards.It hasnt even been 24 hours yet and they are both pain-free unless bumped, which I obviously try not to do.These are my 6th and 7th body piercings over the years, my previous ones being done at various places. Im amazed at how smooth they were here. This will be my go-to place now. Such a great experience at this shop!

Great, quick, and nearly-painless nose piercing. I have had this done in the past, and Scott did it better. He took the time to educate me on the metals used in the industry, standards, practices, and third-party certifications. I was also impressed with the clean and well-decorated salon. The person working the front (did not catch her name), was really friendly and helpful as well. Finally, they have a decent selection of jewelry at a variety of price-points.

Unprofessional and unhygienic experience. No cleaning/sanitizing between clients. My piercing site has been infected since I got the piercing. The owner/piercer assured me that the bump/infection on my nose would go down after he removed the long post to a shorter one. It has been months and it has still not healed. I do not recommend this place if you want a clean or hygienic experience.

This place was amazing! My sister and I went to get our noses pierced for my birthday. The staff was friendly and answered all of our questions. Scott was super friendly as well as very knowledgeable about the metals, piercing process, and also took the time to answer any questions we had before and after we got the piercings. I was nervous to get it done, but he really put me at ease! Great guy!One thing that really struck me was that he looked at the structure of my nose and knew that my piercing had to be placed higher than my sisters. I had never thought about that and I really appreciated him telling me why he suggested piercing a little farther up.The piercing process was quick and very clean! I wish I could give him a higher rating than 5 stars because he truly did a wonderful job! I will only go back to him from here on out.Prices were great, and the experience was even better! By far the best place to get your piercings done the piercer/owner has been doing this for over 27 years! I will be getting all of my piercings from him.they sterilize and clean absolutely everything everything that is touched the cleanest place I’ve ever been.I it is my highest recommended place that people should get their piercings

Scott has done several of my piercings now. Hes helped me learn whats safe and not safe. Everything he uses is sterile and I havent had any issues with healing on any of my piercings. He is a very kind and patient man, the ladies at the front are also super helpful and fun to talk to. I would definitely recommend and I plan on going back a lot more in the future!

I have had all my piercings done here I would never go anywhere else. I recently had an issue with my conch piercing due to my beautician pulling it while getting my hair done. I was able to get into Milano same day. Scott cleaned my piercing put in a longer post and it immediately felt better. He even gave me antibiotic ointment to put on it. I would never trust anyone else to do my piercings.

Scott did a fantastic job! He fixed my uneven nostril piercings, (went to paramount originally) he was quick, delicate, and I overall had an amazing experience. The front staff are also very sweet and knowledgeable! Won’t be going anywhere else to get pierced.

So far I have gotten four piercings from this shop. Everything is very clean and sterile. The piercer is super professional and does a great job! Ive never had any infections from the jewelry. All of my piercings have healed up perfectly! I recommend this place all the time to other people :)

This is a nice, professional shop. The front of house staff are friendly and helpful. The quality of the work is great but from my experience the piercer is not the most friendly. He is just very straight forward and to the point. If bedside manner is important to you this might not be the best place for you but if you dont care about that and just want to get a well done, quality piercing look no further.

First time getting pierced here. Im happy with the result! The gal at the front desk was efficient and kind. When I was confused about which way the helix piercings were going to face, Scott took the time to show me with pictures and placeholders what the end result would look like, which gave me confidence in my decision. Scott was meticulous with the preparartion and placement and quick with the piercing. Went home happy with cleaner and care instructions.

I made an appointment over the phone and they were very informative over the phone and made sure their procedures were clear for pandemic purposes. The day of my piercings they called an hour ahead and confirmed my appointment and answered any questions I had. When I first went in they were extremely friendly and there was a wide variety of jewelry to choose from. I felt bad because I had them count around $95 in $1 bills and coins, but they had a very good attitude about it. The actual piercing I was getting was a Daith and I was quite nervous since I heard it was painful. The piercer did a great job and they didn’t have the original white opal piercing I wanted in the correct length for me and he did a great job of trying to find a color I liked. Everything was very clean and he did it very quick and it looks great. I’m definitely gonna come back for any other piercings or jewelry needs.

Wow! This was my first time getting a piercing (I got my septum done) and they picked a PERFECT size! We came a few minutes early and the wonderful people at the desk quickly let us fill out our paper work, then minutes later the piercer showed up and I got it done! WONDERFUL Covid precautions, everything was so careful and clean! The piercer was SOOOO nice and patient with me! I was super nervous but he totally made the experience feel painless and comfortable!! I am literally recommending this place to EVERYONE I know and I’m coming back for snakebites in a few weeks! The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The shop was very bright and clean. The only negative was we had an appointment at 11:30 am and the piercer didnt show up until almost noon. He was very friendly and made my daughter very comfortable which was good. I would highly recommend this shop for any of your piercings needs.

Got my belly button pierced for my birthday and I was very nervous about where to go and who to let do it. After all my friends recommend here I decided to give it a shot. I made the mistake and tried Adorn in Beaverton and their Portland locations! Their Covid policies were insane and they charged me a cancellation fee because I was exposed to Covid so I had to cancel and reschedule (the irony).I found Scott and this business after that experience and he was super cool and easy to work with. This place is impeccably clean and decorated well. He was great at explaining the process and definitely seems like a pro. I will definitely be back if I’m in need of his piercing services in the future.

Extremely clean and knowledgeable. It’s a little more pricey than your average tattoo shop, but I didn’t mind seeing how sterile everything was I felt the extra money was worth the extra steps and care.

Ive had both my kids get their ears pierced here & I had my daith piercing done here too. They are awesome, friendly, professional, and we will not go anywhere else because of how great this studio has been for us. Its a family tradition to go to Milanos and now the kids want different piercings and it will be where we go. Highly recommend.

Very clean and safe. Will definitely return. He corrected earlier piercings I had done at a cheaper location, which apparently he does often (looking at you, Paramount). I felt stupid and he was a little condescending, but with good intentions, I think. The guy is educated, informed, a perfectionist, and a pro. Totally worth it.

So I had an appointment at 12pm. Im still sitting here waiting at 12:10pm and the piercer guy still hasnt shown up. This is actually the second time Ive had to wait on him after Ive already set up my appointment. Ive already paid so I cant just leave, I also had to cancel my next appointment I had because the piercer guy is running late. If your gona own a shop, you need to be there during hours of operation AND communicate with your employees. The girls are amazing and helpful! They should be the ones running the show! Been going here for years, the piercer has become very flakey. I only recommend him IF your day is pretty open.

Ive been going to Milano off and on for years. Scott is very experienced, safe and keeps everything sterile. Hes really friendly too and willing to help even with unusual requests. If youre looking for a place to get piercings done professionally, this is the place to go.

Went in to get a dermal anchor removed (old piercing from another place) - was SUPER nervous, but was reassured by the super friendly staff, and after I walked in, the super clean, brightly lit interior. Still nervous, they took me back and I laid down (after a mild scolding for not coming to him in the first place) and showed him the problem piercing. He took a look, moved it around (ouch!), then we started talking. His shop has been there since 99, but he has kept it up-to-date. Hes the only piercer there and had started piercing in Portland in one of the first shops that opened. ...... And then he was sliding my footrest down and handing me a small baggy with my jewelry in it. I was amazed. Astounded. So happy that I had to give him a hug. 10/10 would return. Whether I had to get something else removed, or wanted a new piercing, I would head back there.

No complaints about Milanos. Scott Tran (owner) is qualified, professional, informative, sanitary and easy to be around. I got my nose pierced here, procedure was fast and almost pain free. He was also more than happy to answer all my questions and calm my nerves. Highly recommended.

My friend and I went in together to get double helix pierced and I additionally got my conch and a jewelry change on my daith I had pierced over a year ago. He noticed it wasnt healing well and suggested I get a barbell instead of a ring to help it heal. His attention to detail and placement is really good, he is also patient to make sure you are getting exactly what you want. Never felt rushed, which is nice when you are doing something you are going to see every day.My friend and I had tried to go elsewhere but it just felt somewhat dirty, service was bad and they had an hour wait. We decided to wait and try this place which feels decades ahead, clean, sterile and modern. Ill just go here from now on.They are still healing but so far so good!

Went for a nose pierce with my daughter. Super clean place and Scott is very up to date on cleanliness and technique. The needles are so sharp that pain is nearly nonexistent. Even my 14 year old didnt feel pain. Highly recommend for any one wanting to be pierced!!!

I have been going to Scott for 12 years now. I have never had an issue with him, but his reception staff is another thing. I went in wanting to get my conch piercing changed to a different style. I paid for the new piercing and asked the girl how long the wait would be. She told me about 10 minutes. 25 minutes go by. Someone else came in for a piercing, and one of the girls told that person that it would be about 10 minutes. So I went up to the counter. I asked her how much longer it would be, and she said soon. I informed her that I had already been waiting about 25 minutes and did not have time to wait that much longer. I ended up getting a refund, because she told me that he HAD to put it in for me (even though I have had this piercing over a year and have had many piercings). I understand that she may not have known how long he was going to be, but instead of gossiping with each other, the employees could have been more attentive of their customers.

Gives good advice to make sure you don’t go overdo it on stretching or piercings and going to lower gauges. Will give a little freedom to stretch more and skip sizes/upgrade early with experience and proper healing; everyone has been very professional here and I was comfortable with my first and only piercing. Nice 14k gold selection.Added 1/26/18:I went back for more work and they gave excellent advice as I only had an idea what I wanted. The piercing specialist took time and made sure it was perfect.

I usually dont have any issues with the studio. Everyone is usually very nice. They also have a really good selection of jewelry in different price ranges. But more recently, things have changed. I made an appointment to come in, waited for an hour, and nobody showed. Even the ladies said that he comes in only when there are appointments. So, no piercing. A different time, I went in to get septum jewelry changed. He told me it was pierced at the wrong size so instead of asking, he gauged it up a size. I wasnt expecting that, he didnt even tell me that he was going to. Went to Black Hole West instead, and I dont see myself going back to Milano.

I loved this place! It seemed like an amateur place from the outside with all the jewelry and the cutesy employees so I had the piercer walk me through the sterilization process and how he would conduct the piercing. I was very surprised with how all of his licenses and experience. I didnt even feel my piercings. He did a fantastic job and I would definitely go again. If you are thinking about going here, do it.

Absolutely horrible prices and horrible service, I got my industrial pierced here and they put a way too small bar in and it wouldn’t heal. Do not go here if you are expecting any good service. The prices are completely outrageous, they said it’s $180 to get your lobes pierced

I took my 8 year old sister in to get her ears done and the staff was very kind and attentive. They helped us find the right style of earrings for her and helped set us up with cleanser. They did all they could to ease her nerves, make her feel comfortable, and made her feel so special afterwards for not crying or anything. They made her birthday that much more special.

The first time I went here I really liked my nose piercing but then I went to get my septum pierced about a year and a half ago, the guy was really aggressive and I decided to try a place a friend recommended. When I went to a different piercing shop and I was told that I was pierced in the wrong spot! Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Edit: I have never had to do this before. The owner who replied below has no idea how the interaction went or he wouldnt accuse me of using Choice words when I called. It was a short, and surprisingly rude call where I wasnt even allowed to ask questions and received an attitude before even responding to my only question. The harshest thing I said was I guess Ill give my money to someone else! and I hung up. I had ZERO dialogue otherwise and not a single swear word. I had a better experience with the piercing/tattoo shop at the Vancouver Mall. Straight professional work. Took several hours to wait, but it was quality. If these guys will lie about a phone call, Id be weary of letting them use any devices on your body for anything. If I could erase the gold from the only star Im forced to give, Id do it. Poor customer service man. Im stunned you would lie like that. Original review: Called to find out about hours and was immediately treated as an undesirable inconvenience for asking as theyre booked into the following week. Attitude is everything and obviously this review wont hurt their otherwise busy business but its not stopping me from expressing my experience for what it was. Ill give my money to someone who deserves it.

Scott is knowledgeable. The front desk girls can be a bit annoying. I bought (half inch) bars here after Scott determined my size. I came in over six months apart (only having bought 1-2 the first time) and bought their whole supply the second time, but was hoping to buy more. Would have liked to see better stocking of quality jewelry (without words etc). This product was hard to find online.

Got my kids nose pierced here, they where extremely clean, polite, and prompt. We had to wait 15min longer then our scheduled appointment but stuff happens. Would definitely recommend this place. 👌

Ive been here twice, once for a navel piercing 5 years ago, and again recently for a septum piercing. The piercer is fantastic. Very experienced, detail oriented, and patient. Everything is kept supremely clean.

I went here years ago for my septum piercing and the guy did it in the wrong spot but oh well it looked fine and didnt hurt much more than the second time when the lady pierced the sweetsop at another shop. But I was trying to make an appointment for my friend to get his septum done and.. the prices START at $80 for septum piercings 😳 thats outrageously expensive.. average is like $40-50 and found one place to do it for $25.

Got my industrial here february of last year, had a horrible time trying to get it to heal, called around june to make an appointment to get a downsize for the jewelry after reaching out to a app certified piercer and doing my own research, they said they were gonna put two different smaller bars in for it to heal and then put the longer bar back in after, i knew that wasn’t right so made an appointment at a different place with a certified piercer and when i finally got in there they told me he shouldn’t have even pierced me in the first place because my ear doesn’t have the right anatomy for an industrial piercing (when i went to get it he didn’t even do an anatomy check before piercing), he also used the wrong gauge jewelry for the industrial.I also got my septum done here (after the industrial but before getting it checked out and everything) and he pierced it crooked.

The piercer is so knowledgeable! Its the cleanest place Ive ever seen and he makes you feel at ease. The only place I go for piercing. I just got snake bite piercings that are healing great. His assistants are very knowledgeable and friendly also. I highly recommend this shop!

Trustworthy place to get a piercing as far as knowledge and cleanliness goes. However, the prices are pretty unfair in my opinion. $10 for a single curved barbell! Thats ridiculous! All of the ones Id actually wear were even more. So, if you have the money to spend then go here, but if not there are other places just as good for much better pricing.

Clean, welcoming studio, with thorough sterilization practices--this is very obviously their highest priority. Competent, well-trained and very experienced piercer who owns the shop and does all the piercing. Friendly--good place to bring a child to get ears pierced safely. Follows practices of the Association of Profession Piercers. High quality metals--including pure grade titanium available. And reasonably priced. This is the real deal.

The wife and I got our septum pierced just the other day. Scott was gracious enough to come in for us. He was very professional and a delight. The environment was clean and the staff was friendly.

Gone here since I was 12 (20 now) I dont trust anywhere else. Extremely clean, organized and professional. Not as cheap as some piercing shops but definitely worth the extra $20 for the piercers expertise. Also good place to buy jewelry that you know isnt going to irritate your skin or tarnish or fall apart.

This shop is very clean, and the staff is so friendly. Got my ear cartilage done here, the piercer was nice and very knowledgeable!! I’ve had a great experience here and will be back for jewelry/ piercings.

The two young ladies at the front worked with my daughter to get her ears pierced and were extremely professional and friendly.

The studio is clean, but the wait time is preposterous because the piercer is never there. Earring removal and aftercare instruction is covered only by an unhelpful piece of paper. The salon forces you to buy overpriced piercing cleaner, one of which claims on the bottle *not for internal use*, which the aftercare instructions explicitly state NOT TO USE. If it is unsafe to use, why is the salon selling it? The phone often goes unanswered, and the girls at the desk are aloof and unhelpful. Despite the terrible service, the environment is clean and relaxing, which helps to negate the feeling of irritation growing with every hour-long wait.

The guy did an excellent job shoving a needle through my body what can I say. Theres certificates all over the wall like he some kind of Harvard grad so that was definitely comforting.Edit: want to follow up with my review and let everyone know that they use low quality metal here kind of unfortunate since I was happy with the piercing. This can give you a bad reaction to the piercing causing keyloids. Also I want to add that you may or may not have a reaction like this, however the chances will be greatly reduced if you go somewhere that uses good metals.

Went there to get my hips pierced with dermals 2 years ago. I heard it was the best place in PDX to get surface piercings, and I definitely agree! My piercer was absolutely amazing - even used a level to make sure my dermals would be even and level with each other. They healed extremely quick and 2 years later they are still fantastic. It was an extremely sterile and professional shop with very friendly and comforting staff. Most piercing shops Ive been too, the staff has been very arrogant with a snobby attitudes, but this place was the exact opposite. Thank you so much Milano Body Piercing! :)

Unprofessional and snobby staff members. I made an appointment to get a piercing done first thing in the morning. The Guido who runs the shop casually rolls in 15 minutes after my appointment was supposed to begin, and made NO apology or recognition of his disrespectful behavior. This is no way to treat a customer who had been going into his store for many months, and who has spent way too much money on his business to be treated that way.

As a person with sensitive skin I was very hesitant to get my first piercing (minus my ears when I was 5). On my birthday I got my belly button pierced. I never once got an infection or keloid since I took care of it just the way Scott said to. He let all three of my friends be in the room with me as well. Its all clean, the ladies at the desk are all amazing and helpful. Since my belly button Ive had my tragus, nose and tongue all done by Scott. If you want the best I highly recommend Milanos. Everything is always clean and steral. Ive seen friends get infections because the piercer didnt open the package with a new needle in front of the customer. Scott always opens packages in front of you and sterilizes the area of piercing properly.

The piercer, Scott, does not explain what he is doing, and gives you no time to prepare. Ive had my tongue and my industrial done by him. He pierced my industrial once, not symmetrical with the other ears industial bar because My ears are different. I went back for him to fix it because it was very noticable to me and I was very bothered by it, he moved one side down. My ear started to swell and I went to a new, more professional seeming and much friendlier piercer elsewhere, who told me my bar was too small. Its very painful and unessesary to be pierced twice and have a bar changed in a time span of 2 weeks with a very angry industrial piercing. I will not be back and dont recommend this place to anyone else.

I came into get my nose stud switched to a hoop because I didn’t know my gauge size. I’ve had my nose pierced for almost a year and a half and never had any issues or bleeding with it, but it was super painful when he switched it to a hoop and even bled. Since then, my piercing has continued to bleed for over a week now and is really painful- which doesn’t make sense considering it was a fully healed piercing when I went in to switch the jewelry. I’ve tried contacting the piercer to look at it or suggest something to do to help it, but I haven’t had any replies or help.

Great service I was getting my right side pierced and he lined it up to the piercing I already on my left side and did an amazing job it didn’t hurt at all after they had very friendly service and made me feel comfortable 😇

The first time i came across milano is when my double nose piercing got done by someone else who kept getting them misaligned/crooked wrong x3 times and blamed my nose. scott made me feel comfortable and assured me my nose was not the problem. all his certificates on his wall made me feel comfortable as well. Second time i went i got my cheeks pierced . LOVE them . i will never go back to anyone else.-the place is also squeaky clean.

This is a couple years late but he did my dermals and at first I wanted them somewhere else but he explained really nicely why that wouldnt be great cause theyd come out fast. He pumped me up about doing it in another spot and I still have them 3 years later! I love them! Going back to get my medusa repierced cause he is the only piercer ive been to that hasnt messed it up!

I have been going here for years. Had a appointment for a piercing. I arrived 15 minutes early and was treated so rudely by the employee that called herself the manager the poorest rudest customer service skills I had experienced ever that I walked out and will not be returning to here. Seriously so bummed with this place I’m 21 and have been going here for all of my piercings since I was probably 12 or 13 they have all come out great recently I got my second tongue piercing done and not only is it not where I wanted it to be it’s not lined up with the first one it’s so amazingly crooked!! And to top it all off when I called the shop to see if he would fix it I was told no I will for sure be going somewhere else for now on!

I called a week in advance to make my appointment when I got there the guy wasn’t there so I waited because I needed a spacer to go for an mri I waited for almost an hour before I decided to leave because I was going to be late and ended up having to remove it and I am probably going to loose my piercing now not happy at all I’m very angry and upset.
