Came here for a piercing and Autumn is the absolute best! Is very thorough and very knowledgeable. She made sure I was comfortable and knew all the aftercare for my piercing! Would definitely recommend her and this place in general.

Jessica did my birthday tattoo and she was awesome! She took the time to capture the essence of my plant, and made sure everything was to my liking. She was super friendly and worked efficiently- it didn’t hurt even over old scars. I love the cleanliness and safety measures they take making everyone wash their hands, get a temp check and wear a mask. I also love Jessica offers touch ups for up to a year, she stands by her work if you need to come back. Also major props for doing memorial cremation ash tattoos!The location is great, I was able to walk from my hotel on Glenwood and the shop style/decor is so fun. I am really glad Jessica was able to get me in when I emailed a week before- I highly recommend her!

Got a surface barbell today with Autumn. I’ve had my face pierced many times at different places and she was by far my favorite. Super thorough, knowledgeable, and kind. Way less painful than I planned on and I couldn’t be happier with the result. Will definitely be going back for any other piercings in the future.

I had a wonderful experience with Conspiracy Ink Tattoos. I have two tattoos done by Libby and I am extremely satisfied. She is a very talented artist and the shop is spotless. It was extremely easy to make an appointment over email and I did not have to wait for months to get in like some other places I called. The prices are extreme reasonable for the beautiful and professional work that they do. I will definitely be coming back again.

A friend recommended Autumn to me and I saw she had great reviews so I went for it. I love that she takes clients on a first-come, first-served basis. Conspiracy is a cozy establishment with a sweet dog to greet you, and they have a paid lot right behind them if parking downtown stresses you out.Autumn did a great job with my septum piercing! She is very knowledgeable and gave me a lot of helpful information. She felt for the sweet spot in my nose before piercing and had me lay down, which I think ensures accuracy for her but it also helped me avoid feeling lightheaded. I felt great. She asked me at multiple points in the process whether I had any questions or concerns, and she hyped me up once it was done. It was a very pleasant experience and I will likely be back before too long. So glad I went!

(July/August 2021)I’m extremely happy with my first tattoo. Jessica was flexible, friendly, and sociable; just overall great. At first, I was apprehensive about whether I could find a shop that could do a colored tattoo on darker skin, but Jessica was knowledgeable and gave me color options that she thought would fit best for my ladybug. The price was also more than reasonable, based on the size and time it took. I honestly have nothing to complain about. I’ll be back again for sure ;) Thank you!(October 2021) Got another tattoo done by Jessica. I LOVE IT!

Libby has been one of the best tattoo artists I’ve worked with. Her hands are excellent, she also takes safety and protocols very seriously being that she is an ex-RN nurse. I had a piece done that was excellent the first time around then updated for free. Her prices are more than economical so make sure you tip well, this level of quality is hard ti match. Email communications etc were professional and easy.

This establishment is located on the second floor above a restaurant (the name escapes me). The only thing I dont like about the establishment is the sulfur smell that stings your nose and engulfs your lungs when you first come through the door. You may gag the first three minutes or struggle to breath.What I do enjoy however, is the tattoo artist. If youre looking for an amazing and talented tattoo artist that uses vegan ink, look no further than Libby at Conspiracy Ink. I was referred to Libby by a co-worker whose ink looked fresh on chocolate covered skin. I was blown away by not only the art but the fact that she offered vegan ink. You can expect Libby to be feisty and sweet, communicative, and gifted at what she does. I highly recommend you see her for your first tat and let her know Ruthie sent you.

Listen, I am a needle-phobic scaredy cat that has been putting off my nostril piercing FOREVER. Autumn was so great. She explained everything in such detail, I had absolutely no questions and trusted her completely. The shop was clean and inviting. Much to my surprise, the piercing was practically painless and Autumn talked me through every step. I couldnt have asked for a better experience. She noticed that I was feeling bit woozy and went to get me a popsicle. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this was!!! Thank you for making this experience trauma free and easy-going. I ADORE this place! I got a nostril piercing from Autumn a while back, and she is extremely knowledgeable! I recently got a couple tattoos from Jessica and they are gorgeous! She really knows what she’s doing! I love everyone’s vibe here, the decor is super cool, lots of things to look at while you’re getting a tat or piercing, I find something new every single time I go lol! I chose this place because they are women owned, and they did not disappoint! I highly recommend this place for your ink and piercing needs! And yes, they are needs!

Libby is beyond amazing! She took impossible circumstances around making her client’s wish come true and asked, “how can we make this happen?” when many other artists said “sorry, we can’t help you.” Libby went above and beyond any reasonable expectation to make sure that her client had something so incredibly personal, meaningful, and beautiful. She is the rare type of person who gives me hope in the world, and her kindness and genuine compassion can’t be surpassed. Autumn is amazing. She is such an amazing piercer! She gives you an in-depth lesson about the aftercare process. I have gotten 5 piercing from her my rook, flat, anti-tragus, and second lobes. They have all healed perfectly. I won’t go to anyone else for my piercing!

I got my first tattoo here the other night (something small but super meaningful to me) and Jess did an AMAZING job, i already booked her for a bigger tattoo/coverup next month. She did a fantastic job at making me feel comfortable, making sure I was happy with it before and after. The other ladies were also awesome, it felt like I was just talking to and hanging out with friends I’d known forever. Love everything about this place, I’d give ten stars if I could. Amazinggggggg service! Took some time for me to find the right place I wanted to go to, read the reviews on Conspiracy Ink & saw great things about Autumn. She was extremely knowledgeable, took her time to explain every single step, I felt very included in the process. My best friend even got a piercing as well. Id highly recommend coming here for piercings. They accept cash only but atms are nearby if needed. Very affordable pricing as well!

Lengthy Post:I went with two of my friends to receive septum piercings on 6/12/2021. I previously had my septum pierced in 2017 at Gifted Styles (tattoo & piercing) in Raleigh near Wake Forest Rd and the piercer did a horrible job. He went straight through the thickest part of my cartilage and caused me extreme pain to the point where I was in tears. The end result was awful and the piercing was entirely too low and rested on my lip and was not what I had expected. I showed him a reference photo BEFORE he pierced, he reassured me he could do it, and then did not give me what I asked for. I ended up taking the piercing out the same day due to the pain. I have wanted a septum piercing practically all my life, but was hesitant to try again after my previous incident. After one of my friends did some online research, we found Conspiracy Ink Tattoos. I explained my hesitation to Autumn, and she did a fantastic job at walking me through the piercing, physically feeling for the sweet spot, and piercing with ease. She made me feel comfortable, practiced good sanitation measures, and overall provided a great service at a great price. I am extremely happy with my septum piercing and it looks exactly the way I wanted it to look back when I first tried in 2017. My two friends also loved their septum piercings that they received with me from Autumn. Thank you once again, we will certainly be back!

Autumn did my nose piercing, she did a great job of walking me through the process including making it as painless as possible. I got it done nearly four weeks ago and have had zero negative side effects, no infection, swelling, anything! The aspect of it being a female owned business made me feel very safe in there. Autumn was also very patient and let us wait so that my friend could be there for the process. Thank you Autumn!

Conspiracy Ink is amazing! I came here to get my cartilage and third ear-lobe piercings. I chose to come on a Saturday for the walk-in piercing service and the entire process went very smoothly. There was a wait time of only 15 minutes which was nice. I got my ears pierced by Autumn and she was very kind. She walked me through the entire aftercare process and also explained each jewelry option very thoroughly. When I went in to get the actual piercing, the process was painless and easy. Autumn talked me through the whole process and made sure I didn’t feel dizzy or sick after each piercing. She was also very patient during the piercing placement process and made sure that I liked where the piercing would be made before she actually used the needle. The studio itself was very clean. Multiple measures were taken to ensure the studio was COVID free, including mandatory masks and hand washing as soon as you enter the studio. Also, just an FYI for everyone, the studio is cash only, so make sure to bring cash for your payment. However, if you don’t have cash on you, there is an ATM right downstairs. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience with Autumn at Conspiracy Ink and I would highly recommend this studio to anyone looking to get a piercing.

Went in for a helix piercing, called before I came and had no wait time. The shop is very clean and sanitary. Autumn was AWESOME! She made me feel super comfortable and she definitely knows what she is doing. I had a great experience and will for sure be coming back!

Libby at Conspiracy Ink was awesome. She guided me through my first tattoo. I gave her some ideas of what I wanted and she drew up a sketch and then made it a reality. Not a big fans of needles and she handled with care. Very clean studio! I would recommend to anyone who likes her work!

This review is intended to serve everyone, but in particular I wanted to highlight my experience getting a tattoo for the first time in case there are others out there who were a little nervous and not fully in-the-know, like me!I recently had my first tattoo completed by Robin and I have to say I could not be happier with her work! First of all, the shop atmosphere is relaxed, cozy, and very clean. My initial consultation meeting with Robin was very informative and she took the time to educate me on the basics of tattoos as well as help me put the finishing touches on my idea. She is relaxed, but very professional, which made the experience truly great. She was very upfront with what to expect for the tattoo and the process itself and made herself available to me for any questions prior to getting the tattoo done.As a small side note, Robin also uses only vegan inks, which I really appreciate. Overall 5/5 stars, definitely recommend and will absolutely being going back in the future.

I had my rook piercing done about a year ago at another shop and I needed the jewelry changed. Luckily I was able to get in touch with Autumn at Conspiracy Ink. I went to the shop and picked out the jewelry I wanted and she swapped it out for me. Couldnt be happier! This jewelry looks so much better than what I had in before. Ive been going to Robin for about five years now and I leave happy every damn time. Shes easy to work with, hilarious to talk to, and extremely talented. She listens to what I want but isnt afraid to tell me no when something wont turn out well or wont fit the way I think its going to. The shop itself is clean and welcoming -- definitely a great place for people who have been scared off by other tattoo shops. Libby has always given me exactly what Ive asked for. Her work is beautiful and she provides sketches beforehand which some artists dont. Her deposit is minimal and fair. Her ballpark pricing helps a great deal and she is so easy to work with. She is never judgemental and is also honest; knows what shes doing and will tell you what works and gives suggestions for things that work best for your design. Shes my go to artist and I cant recommend her enough!

My friend and I took our 17 yr old daughters to Robin for their nose piercings 3 months ago. As we are pretty conservative, this was a big deal for us moms. The experience was really fun. We took pics and videos. Robin was fantastic in every way. The nose piercings healed perfectly, which was my main concern. It never turned red or showed any sign of it being a new piercing. It looks really cute! Great experience!! 😁

Woman owned and operated by amazing artists who are all-around wonderful human beings. The shop location is awesome (above the Flying Saucer) and clean, making appointments is easy, and the prices are great. The only tattoos I have that werent done by Libby is the one from my 18th birthday and the one that Libby already covered. Shes particularly gifted with watercolor and flowers too if thats what youre after.

A couple of badass ladies who know their way around a needle work here. Easily the best tattoo experience Ive had. Libby has given me my favorite piece so far. They care about their art and are willing to work with you to make sure you end up with exactly the tattoo you want. When I get another itch for ink, I know just where Im going.

Back in August of 2016 Libby did an amazing job of a 3D butterfly on my foot. I have been to other parlors where the artist are arrogant and rude and love to make you wait for months to give them your money. That was not the case here. It took about 3 wks from first contact to my completed work and I enjoyed the whole experience. I have been and will continue to recommend Conspiracy Ink as THE place to have yourself inked. S/N Libby is an amazing artist on canvas as well!

Robin is awesome. Went in for 2 small tattoos on my arms. She made great conversation and really made me feel comfortable. Highly recommend this place, and Robin! The tattoos came out great.

The girls were very friendly and their shop was very nice and cozy, had a nice atmosphere. I was hoping that Libby would be great and had a massive amount of ink I wanted done. We started with some simple things and I have to say that I am highly disappointed in what I saw in the sketches. It seemed as if very minimal effort was put into both of them, I asked for 3 very important elements. One of which was simply to make an octopis tentacle wrap around my arm instead of being awkwardly pointed upward like a cheesy sticker. From the looks of both sketches she did for me, I would say she definitely just traced the google image I sent her.If thats the kind of tattoo you want then Im sure it would be executed fairly well. I was however under the impression they did custom tattoos. Unfortunately when I asked that she change a couple things, I was informed that I should find someone else to do the job.Im giving them a poor review simply bc no effort was put forth in nearly 6 months. Very disappointed and will not use them again.

The staff is very friendly and helpful but both of my tattoos did not end up as I intended. The colors were not blended well, the lines were not crisp, and instead of going back to the same place to tweak the original I should have gone elsewhere that does more skillful cover ups and listens to what I want.
