This is personally the best shop I’ve ever been to. The work is great , the atmosphere is amazing. I would recommend them to anyone! Cory did my work & he’s great!

Corey did my nose piercing quickly and efficiently. He made sure it was placed in the spot I requested. He explained how to take care of it and pricing was better than any other shop! Definitely would refer him to anybody looking for a good priced piercing with quality work. 5 star for sure

When I arrived nobody greeted me. I had to basically introduce myself and why I was there. Waited 45 minutes just to get a Daith piercing. Cory was rude, never showed me the placement and just pierced me. Gave me the wrong jewelry for the healing process. Swelling got so bad to the point where I am now taking antibiotics. Over all bad experience and would never recommend this place to anyone!

Went to Cory, very funny and personable, just got a new tattoo from him. I’ve also been tattooed by him a few times in the past and received a belly piercing from him, everything has healed nicely.

Definitely not coming back the short black piercer he kind of chubby he don’t know what he’s doing. You had that needle in my lip for over 40 seconds I start getting light headed he definitely don’t know what he’s doing and he needs to get his permit taken away,

Me and my friend had a wonderful experience with corey for our belly button piercings. corey was super nice and they healed well.

The artists had good vibes and I love my tattoo so much! I wanted a very delicate looking snake coming out of my hair behind my ear with some detail. Im small and it was small to fit and still has great detail just like my pet snake 🐍 I knew itd be a fine line between aggressive snake neck and fem animal lover and she got it!! And theyre open late. Highly recommend ❤️ Thanks Q

Super great and nice staff. Walked in on a date night whim. Q was nice with a great spirit. Made us comfy. She made sure to customize what we asked for, showed us, and made some revisions as we envisioned. Highly recommend going to see her!!! Everyone was nice and pleasant.

I have come to this shop for coming up to a year and have had all my tattoos apart from one done by them. I’ve worked with Cory, Mark(who has since left), Cesar (who also left) and now Jacob. I have met every artist who currently works here as well. Never once had a bad experience with any artist here! As someone who has done some apprenticing for a tattoo shop, I can say their prices for their art are priced by piece and not overly charged like a lot of places. I’m always happy with the outcome, and haven’t ever switched shops.Although Cory can be quiet and straight to the point, once you get to know him he’s a great dude. I personally like the straight up attitude.I just worked with Jacob for the first time today and I am beyond happy with this piece! A great, friendly and talkative dude who does some amazing, clean work.I don’t think I’ll ever switch shops.Thank you all for your work!!!

I got my tattoos there and I get compliments form every one who see then . There very professional and knowledgeable and clean . I recommend family and friends.

This is my main place to get tattoos, both of my biggest tats are from here done by Cory and Kat, and they both exceeded my expectations while also keeping it affordable for a college student like myself. Extremely nice guys who make sure youre comfortable and do a great job as well.

Cat did my tattoo and touch ups on my older tattoos for an extremely reasonable price and it is some of the best line work I’ve gotten by any artist in the raleigh area. He took both my friend and I at a pretty late time and stayed past closing and was extremely nice and accommodating to both of us! We couldn’t have gotten a better experience anywhere else. Thank you again and we will absolutely be back for more

Corey was great. I went to two tatoo shops before and they acted like they could not do my cover up. I pulled up and he immediately helped me. I was undecided about what I wanted and he patiently researched different ideas. He was professional, reasonably priced, and I felt safe at the facility. Highly recommend.

Gifted stylez shop is a great place to visit professional atmosphere and great quality I have had 83 percent of my work done by all the artists they all are sterilized people every thing is disposable and never reused. Ive done business with Cory and Cat for year never had a problem with any of there work. And all there new staff are freaking awesome luv them all

I decided I was wanting to get my first tattoo awhile back. Being a 24 year old gay man at the time, I decided carefully and looked at reviews and ratings for a bunch of different places. I wanted to feel comfortable, safe, and happy while I got my tattoo. That exactly what I found here. My artist is Mark, and I am on tattoo #6 soon. They use clean and safe products, sterilize everything after each use, and make sure your tattoo looks awesome and that youre happy with it. They absolutely amazing here. I got my sisters nosed pierced here too and they joked around with her to lighten her up and made sure she was calm and happy. I will recommend this place to everyone. Thanks for creating art for me that I will have forever.

Hadnt gotten a tattoo in about 10 years. I took my son in honor of his 21st birthday to get matching tattoos. The front door staff was friendly and personable, the honor both professional and have clients laughing at the same time. The tattoo artist that did my tattoo entertaining and treated me like family.

Today was my first time at Gifted Styles and I will DEFINITELY be going back! It was me, my mom, twin, and little sister. We all went for piercings; varied between nose and tragus. Corey pierced us and he was amazing! He tells you everything you need to know when it comes to what you got pierced and aftercare. Cat provided amazing service as we waited to be pierced. Gave us waters, his business card, and was all around welcoming and friendly while maintaining professionalism. To top it off, everything was so clean and sterile!! If you are looking for a tattoo & piercing shop, that is also black owned, this is the place to go. Hands down.

Today was my wifes birthday and after dinner she really wanted two new tattoos for her birthday. We went in and she saw a familiar face and knew she was in good hands. As part of her birthday they gave her a discount and the artist was very professional!!!! As I waited, there was repeat customers waiting on service. Clean, professional. So I found this shop on Google and figured Id check them out because they had such good reviews and ratings, not to mention they were the only tattoo shop open so late. I was extremely impressed with the quality of work and the comfortable atmosphere. The ink that I had done was amazing I couldnt be happier. my artist was so awesome. I look forward to doing a lot more business with them.

I got my first tattoo ever here a couple months ago. i completely forgot to write a review but omg i love this place so much. mark did an amazing job on my tattoo to tribute my brother who had passed. he was super nice to me and made me feel really comfortable. i will be going back here this week to get 2 more tattoos!!

I just called to ask about a possible tattoo possibility for today (August 3rd) and needed to know if they accepted walk-ins. The man who answered the phone was VERY rude. When I asked if he could take my sister and I this evening for a small tattoo he said “walk-in” and I said, “Okay, so you do have availability for us?” (which is reasonable to ask considering he had not answered my question clearly) and with the upmost attitude he said “yeah, if you walk in.” He spoke to me as if I was dumb and his tone was extremely condescending. Whoever that was, you should seriously reconsider how you speak to possible clientele. I will NOT be supporting this place with my business since this is how they speak to people.

We had cory do our tattoos and he did a wonderful job! It was late and last minute but came out awesome! Both my hubby and I are very happy with the results!

I called to ask if if they could hangs my jewelry piercing. The guy who answered was very rude. Probably the same person that was referenced in an earlier review. I asked if they had availability today and he said “Yeah, if you walk in.” Definitely be cautious about anyone with this type of energy going near you. Y’all be blessed.

Artist Cat was great, detailed, asked questions, and professional. I will return soon for another tattoo.

So July 13th 2018 I go and get a nose piercing by Cory. First off walking into the shop vibes are completely chill and everyone was nice. That is always a plus. Cory was a bit unprofessional and although I laughed some things off he went a little too far with some comments. So I sit down and he has my jewelry already out it wasnt even in a sterilized package or anything. I asked him about other kinds of jewelry and he says I ask too many questions and asked me did I ask all those questions at the white shops when I got my previous piercings. Basically accusing me of being racist to my own people. It was weird. He ranted about it for a while. I was scared to get the piercing and he told me if I backed away 3 times he was refusing to do my piercing. I only back away once and basically felt rushed into getting it. So today Monday I had to go to another tattoo/piercing place to get the Nose ring taken out because it was embedded in my nose and according to the piercer it wasnt done properly. IT was angled, and also too short and very difficult to try and fix. I am pissed because I paid $20 for my nose ring and tipped $15 because my wife got a tattoo and our total was $65. I am just annoyed by the fact that 3 days later I am out $35 and in pain with a hole in my damn nose. You get what you pay for and if you want quality you might want to consider paying that extra buck. Needless to say Dogstar Tattoos in Durham was very helpful in this process and when I am all healed I will be going to them for all Tattoo and Piercing needs. SMH. Yall beware cheaper isnt always better. Oh he also gave me no after care instructions and simply handed me a paper towel and told me to hold the piercing to stop the bleeding for a bit. Like wth? They didnt make me sign anything no waiver no receipts nothing. Only record I have is we recorded the process.

I went to get a hand tattoo the night before my birthday. It looked super good after I left but as the days went on and it started to scan up and peel I could see that barely any of the ink held. It ended up looking like I had gotten my tattoo 80 years ago and had it exposed to the sun 24 hours a day. I’m embarrassed to have this on my hand and I now have to go to a different shop to get it fixed. And the owner was extremely inappropriate with a younger friend I had brought with me to the shop. Wouldn’t recommend.

I went to get my nose pierced and they gave me the wrong nose stud. They put a ear earring in my nose and now my nose isnt healing right. When I lift it to clean it its very raw and the spot doesnt get air because its so tight. Very upset.
