Rock N Roll Tattoo & Piercing

This is an okay piercing place.. The piercers are okay also- I have nothing outwardly bad to say about them. The things that I did not enjoy; they are extremely understaffed, wait times were long. The piercer put the wrong length of studs in my ear- they were too long and prevented the piercing from healing correctly. Same happened with my mom- the stud was WAY too long. We went back, explained the situation. They charged us $60 for just 4 measly new studs- extremely overpriced, as they presumably buy these in bulk. The original lobe piercings + jewelry ranged from 80-100$.When we got the new studs, we left (after waiting for a very long time just to buy the studs, not even to get pierced this time!) ... in the car I realized that he had given us the wrong TYPE of studs (pop-in studs but we needed screw-in studs). So we had to turn back around and wait AGAIN for replacements.We explained in detail what had happened and what we wanted (studs that fit appropriately) so he took us to the back and replaced them for us - then during this he realized in fact that I was not crazy and that he did sell us the wrong studs. Again, It felt rushed since he was the only piercer on a busy Saturday.We left, and shortly after I realized that my new studs were EXTREMELY tight and short- I had said multiple times that I simply wanted identical length studs as my first holes. My mom ended up with studs that are still way too LONG. The purpose of wanting these particular flat-back earrings is so it will be comfortable to sleep in- and after the multiple times we tried to explain the situation in detail, the new studs are still not comfortable or what we asked for. We avoided going back for a THIRD time, though, since we didnt want to wait and have to try and explain it to him all over again. So after all of that, we still are not very happy and my tight earrings are struggling to heal, just as they were with the long studs.I want to emphasize that the piercer was extremely FRIENDLY however, I am not quite sure why he didnt understand the simple request that we had of replacing the absurdly long original studs. I might be back one day as a last resort, but not any time soon.

Switched over to here after a decade of being a client at another local shop . Samantha did an absolutely incredible memorial piece for a very close friend of mine who passed away on my back (this is without question my most personal tattoo . And its now my favorite one as well) the whole session was super relaxed and fun , she really is a passioante and dedicated artist. the atmosphere of the shop is super welcoming . Ur not just a client here . If that makes since. Anyway 10/5 stars. Cannot recommend enough .

This place is awesome! I went to get my belly button pierced and the experience was great! They had a lot of belly button rings to choose from, all super cute and nothing cheap looking. The place was extremely clean and sanitary precautions were definitely taken. Lee did my piercing, he explained the process and did a great job making sure the piercing would be center. Overall a great experience, and the crew is very kind!

Lee did my septum piercing! He informed me I have a deviated septum and compensated for it to make it look straight from head on. Lee has been piercing since the 90s and his skill is obvious. He was so kind and made sure I felt cared for. The building is full of cool art and plants and arcade games my kid played on while we waited. Great vibes! Thanks, Lee!

I walked in for a tattoo and was greeted by friendly people who want to help. My artist was Sheanna. I had a wonderful experience and good conversation during my piece. She was very helpful in deciding placement, and font. I’ve been to a few shops where artists try and rush the process or aren’t friendly, but Sheanna and everyone else at RNR were great. 10/10 will come back.

Bradde is awesome! If anyone is looking for a place to get their kids ears pierced, then book here with Bradde. He’s done all three of our girls and each time was a memorable experience! He does a fantastic job of creating a fun atmosphere while keeping their nerves calm. I couldn’t imagine a better experience for first time piercings! The waiting area was great too! The free arcade games kept them, and us, entertained while he waited. Great all around place 👍🏼

I usually see Lee here for piercing needs, but he was off the day I had a piercing “emergency”. Lee is always awesome! Bradde was able to help me instead as a walk-in. He was also amazing! Handled my issue quickly and was friendly as well! Very pleased with my visit per usual. I recommend everyone to come here for piercing needs!

This was our 2nd time coming here for my daughter’s nose piercings, and each time we had the pleasure of working with Lee. As usual, he was very professional and informative of the upkeep of maintaining the cleaning process for my daughter’s piercings. Also thank you to Katelyn at the receptionist desk, for the warm greeting when we arrived. We will definitely be back!!!

I got my second tattoo ever this past weekend with Kamil! It was such a great experience, Im definitely going again! I went with a big group and he made sure to take time, ensuring we all were getting exactly what we wanted! He was such a fun person to talk with too, super knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions we had! 😊

Even though we were walk-ins, Lee was absolutely amazing! He was extremely patient as we were making our selection, despite our going back and forth several times. I ended up getting a second ear piercing and a helix and his experience and expertise were obvious throughout the entire process. Would definitely go back again - great experience!

Walked in today to have something put in my ears. Havent had anything in them in 10 years! Lee was fantastic at helping me pick out jewelry and made the process quick and painless! I got a dermal piercing here and the piercer , Lee, was great and very helpful ! He helped me figure out what I wanted to get and answered all the questions i had and reassured me , as I was anxious, and walked me through the whole piercing process and the piercing looks great ! Great guy and really cool shop.

My daughter wanted to get a second piercing in her ears. The first attempt (from another place) was not anywhere close to symmetric and didnt look right (earrings were touching on one side, and had space between on the other; so the distance between the 2 holes was obviously different.). We went to Rock N Roll tattoo and Lee helped my daughter decide to let the hole close and redo it, and Brad did a fantastic job on the redo. Im really impressed with their experience and skill. Very happy I took my daughter here. I would highly recommend either of these piercers and this shop.

Ask for Vic! This man is a true artist and master of his craft. He takes his time, provides a comfortable and friendly environment, and his work speaks for itself. He is easy to speak with and cares deeply about his art, he used only the best equipment and aftercare products and was full of knowledge from 20+ years experience. You can’t beat that! Went with a group to get piercings and flash. The piercer was amazing and very transparent on every step of the process, making us feel completely comfortable. The tattoo artist, Kyle, on the other hand made us all feel very uncomfortable. The woman receiving the tattoo has had many done in the past, and knows the process of getting one. Kyle was unprofessional in his ways, failing to shave the tattoo spot, using his phone after putting on gloves, and when he finally finished, he taped a paper towel over the finished piece. During the entire time we interacted with him, he never used her name, instead calling her dear and gorgeous. Not only this, but touched her in uncomfortable ways without asking or saying why. We were expecting a flash tattoo to be quick, but instead listened to many life stories before even completing the drawing. I would not recommend him to anyone, especially women.

I walked in with a group of friends on a Saturday and all 5 of us were able to get great tattoos that we loved within 3 hours. Kamil was so great to us. Would definitely go back!

Will at Rock n Toll Tattoo did my tattoo the other day and it turned out better then I could ever dream. He is easy to work with as far as designs and time. Both of my tattoos he has done and he is my only tattoo guy that I go to now.

I went here about 6 months ago to get my ears pierced again since they closed up from not using them. My appointment with Lee went amazing! My initial appointment was fast, easy, and comfortable. I have had to go back a couple times with questions and every single time Lee was helpful, knowledgeable, and happy to help me and answer questions. After having a less than stellar experience with my nose piercing that I just literally just got on Friday in Atlanta, I found this local shop (Capital Rd). From the moment I walked in the young lady at front was very friendly. The gentleman I believe his name is Bradde (he had copper gauges and locs and we talked about The Simpson’s ☺️) whom changed my nose piercing had phenomenal energy, he was quick and kind. I look forward to coming back. The establishment was clean and the environment welcoming.

Went there to get my nose piercing fixed after having one done that closed. The staff was very knowledgeable, facilities were super clean. I’ll definitely be back.

Bradde was so professional and clean through the entire process. Got my navel pierced last minute on a Saturday night. The staff was accommodating and very nice. Walked in with a group of 5 people this past weekend and Kamil did my first ever tattoo. Got the paw print of my dog that recently passed. Kamil did a great job with the tattoo and made the entire experience easy and enjoyable.

I cannot rave enough about Bella’s work! This is my all time favorite tattoo I have ever gotten. She is super understanding and is really creatively in tune with what I wanted as well as what she enjoys tattooing. We sort of went on a limb with the shading on the smoke and I think it made the tattoo 10x better. I’ve gotten 2 tats done by her so far and I plan on continuing for many more. Would recommend her to anyone, especially for fine line tattoos!

Updated 6/14/24: I have eight piercings now, all of them from Lee. They have healed perfectly. Go book him now!Original post (2021): I went in to get both nipples pierced. I was nervous, but the woman at the counter and Lee put me right at ease. He talked me through the whole process, and was very quick. Though the piercing itself hurt (its quite the unique experience), a few hours later my nipples felt normal. Lee is wonderfully professional and good at what he does. He gave me his card and encouraged me to call or email him if I had additional questions during the healing process. Ill absolutely return when I want additional piercings and/or tattoos.I seldom leave reviews online, however I want people to know that if theyre fretting about which tattoo parlor to get work done at, go to Rock and Roll Tattoo.

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! Came in looking to get my third lobe piercing and my conch done. All the staff were so kind and helpful to all my questions. I got my piercings done with Lee and he was so kind and talked me through every step. I was nervous as it was my first time getting a piercing done at an actual shop and not the mall. 100% would recommend this place to everyone. They also have a great selection of piercings to choose from.

I got both a piercing and tattoo at this shop and 110% will be going back next week for more. Bradde is excellent at piercings, quick, gentle and very informative about any questions you have, Victor tattooed my hand for me and listened when I had questions or asked for something to be done a certain way. This shop is awsome! Casey welcomed my friend and I right away was super friendly and patient helping me pick the font I wanted for my tattoo. The shop itself is decorated beautifully and clean. Virtu comfortable atmosphere. The were able to get me in right away (which I was expected since I was s walk in so that was a bonus) Carlton was my artist he was super nice, professionally & personable. He did an amazing job and was really quick (but not sloppy). The price was a little higher then I expected but other then that it was a perfect experience! Keep up the great work :)

Was told something that wasnt true. Went home with a horrible piercing and never got any money back. Was told that there was no paperwork that I ever went there for my piercing in the 1st place. So due to their lack of organization I lost money and need to find a place to fix my piercing now. Also the staff was extremely disrespectful when I called to ask what I could do. I was brushed off and never able to speak with the person that did my work. Horrible experience overall! Definitely do not recommend!

When I first arrived, I was told by a young lady at the desk that it would be a 30-45 min wait and that they would call me when it was my turn. I wondered how they would know I was next, but because there were only 3 or 4 people ahead of me, I didn’t find it too concerning. After about 25 mins of waiting, traffic picked up and I noticed people giving paperwork to a different young lady at the front desk. I went up and let her know that I didn’t receive a form when I first came in and that I’d been waiting. She took my ID and gave me the paperwork, then told me that they would call me when it was my turn. An hour later, I realized that everyone who came in after me was basically gone. I went back up to the desk and tried to explain again that I had basically been skipped and had been waiting an hour and a half. The young lady at the first desk was kind, but I could tell she wasn’t really listening to understand, but instead was trying to explain why I was still waiting. Long story short, I left and went to another shop. If order is determined by paperwork, ensuring that all customers are given the initial paperwork upon arrival would be helpful.

Kamil did an awesome job and was very informative and insightful, making suggestions, making sure I was comfortable, and that was just the consult. Thank you for treating me so well and making my first tattoo experience amazing and for such amazing artwork, he re-did the sketch he made a few times according to my pickyness, and was very awesome to work with, def will come back

Yesterday, I went in as a walk-in for a helix piercing. Everyone who works the front desk was really nice and attentive. The man who pierced my ear, Lee, was kind, quick, and thorough. He got the placement of my earring perfect and explained the aftercare well. Highly recommend for all your piercing needs.

I took my 13 year old to get his ear pierced and it was an easy and mostly pain free experience. I also got my nose pierced (second time since the first closed/the first was not done here)... our piercer, Lee, was FABULOUS! He made us feel comfortable and talked us through the process. I had a drastically different experience at this place and would not hesitate to go back. Definitely recommended to my friends and family.

I have had multiple piercings here and would highly recommend!! Very clean, fair prices, and able to be fit in relatively quickly. Piercers have great aftercare instructions. Im not sure if he still works there (dont see him on the website anymore), but DO NOT go to Noah for tattoos. He did the tattoo well, but took my phone number off consent form and sent me creepy tests for the following couple weeks after the tattoo.

I got a nose piercing with Lee today and I cannot recommend him enough! He was quick, very knowledgeable, and in comparison to my first nostril piercing experience this was amazing! No pain no bleeding over all a great experience highly recommend!

I was in need of some new jewelry for my ear piercings however, the place that I usually go has closed. I took a chance on rock and roll and was greeted by a very polite and helpful receptionist. The piercer came out to help me when he was finished with his appointments and took the time to help me pick jewelry and place the jewelry for me even though I was a walk in and they were busy. The pricing was so reasonable and I will definitely be back. I hadn’t planned on getting any more piercings but I just might because of how good of an experience that I had here.

Been looking for a new artist for a while now and had a friend tell me about Sean at Rock n Roll Tattoo. He far exceeded all my expectations. He’s super chill and honest with you. Did a fantastic job! Line work and shading was out of this world! He makes every tattoo into his own work of art! I will definitely be getting more tattoos done by him! I have gone to RnR in the past to purchase gauges and have always gotten great pricing. On my last visit I found my lobes werent ready to size up but I had been wanting a few more ear piercings for a while and decided to do this last minute instead. With no appointment and little to no notice, the Piercer (I think his name is LEE, need to check his biz card he gave me) fit me in almost immediately and proceeded to do all 3 piercings I requested with little to no pain. He is super professional and definitely the most knowledgeable piercer I have ever met.Cant wait to go back for more work! Thanks RnR for making my experience awesome every time. :)

My sister and I went to get our nose pierced and I was so absolutely impressed with the entire shop. I loved the process, the safety measures in place and just the overall cleanliness of this establishment. Lee did our piercings and told us stories of his bird to take our minds off the task at hand (we were both nervous). He was very thorough in giving us info on how to care for our piercings. This place runs like a well oiled machine. I havent gotten any ink from here but from what I experienced I know that it would be mind blowing. If you are looking for a tattoo and piercing shop, PULL UP!!

Just be prepared to be overcharged for a simple tattoo. My sister got a small roman numeral tattoo on the back of her neck about two inches big and it ran us $100 CASH. Keep in mind, I got the same exact tattoo at a shop downtown for $40! The real kicker is that the artist didnt bother to ask what font or size we wanted and I was under the impression that he just wanted us in and out as quick as possible. When we voiced concerns about wanting the numeral numbers in times new roman font (instead of what? arial?), we were told that we were wrong for even questioning him, then proceed with the tattoo anyways. How dare we have an opinion on something that was going to be on her body permanently. Please save your time, money, and energy by finding another shop with better integrity.

I got my first (and second) tattoos here today with Bella and I am already wondering what my third should be. I had an amazing experience and absolutely love my tattoos! A couple of friends and I scheduled appointments to get several ear piercings and even a nose piercing removed. They were very patient over the phone with our numerous questions and were even nicer in person. They explained the process in detail, and were great at calming our nerves. They also emphasized the importance of our satisfaction in our piercing placement before the piercing process takes place, as well as the importance of aftercare. I felt welcomed and heard. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to get a piercing!

My friend and I got matching tattoos from Victor and we could not be happier! He is so kind and talented! The tattoo flew by because of our great and deep conversations. I have never met such an amazing and well rounded artist! He also stayed an hour after close to finish up our tattoos which is greatly appreciated and generous. I got my third lobe pierced here back in January of this year and i am still healing from this experience. I was unaware at the time but the needle that was used on me was double pointed versus a needle with a point and flat end, which is what you’re supposed to use. The process was quite uncomfortable (come to find out i was bleeding) and took longer than my usual piercings - which was when i knew something had went wrong. My piercer explained what had happened at the end of the session. The double pointed needle basically went through my ear but the earring wasnt in. So he went through the freshly pierced hole with another needle, the correct one this time, immediately after so the earring would be correctly placed. He even said he had never had anything like that happen to him in his 5-10+ years worth of experience. Said it could have been a “manufacturing issue.” Had he checked the needle before he pierced it through my ear, he wouldve seen it. I understand mistakes can happen but this mistake has caused me a lot of discomfort even 9 months later. The third lobe i got on my other ear that same day, which was used with the correct needle, has healed perfectly fine. I take care of my piercings so i honestly believe this carelessness is why my simple lobe piercing has yet to heal. Hopefully they dont repeat this mistake in the future.

Got my first tattoo for my mother that passed away due to cancer back in 2018. It came out AMAZING!! Very gentle and took there time. Absolutely would recommend. Kamil is the tattoo artist that did it. Absolutely grateful it came out even better then what I was thinking

Lee did my industrial piercing here a few weeks ago. He wouldnt give me the piercing until he made sure that my ear would support it. Thats what a piercer is supposed to do! He did an amazing job and sent me home with everything I needed for after care as well as a check up date to make sure its healing correctly. He even offered to assist me in stretching my lobes to make sure I do it safely. Cant recommend this place enough for piercings!

So happy with my experience here. I went in to get an industrial piercing. Lee was honest with me and said that it wouldnt be a good idea, and explained how it might cause issues because of the shape of my ear. I ended up getting a helix orbital piercing instead, and I couldnt be more satisfied with the results. Expert piercing skill, quick and relatively pain-free experience, and an absolutely gorgeous piercing that I might love even more than what I initially came in for. Ill definitely come again when I want another!

Went in for a quote to have a custom tattoo done. Terrance at the front desk immediately got me in touch with “Lucky”. Made my appointment for the next day. Tattoo came out better than I ever expected. After just moving here I’m happy to know I got myself a new tattoo guy! Hands down the coolest and most talented tattoo artist around. After searching throughout the area for a tattoo shop online, I decided to go with Rock N Roll Tattoo & Piercing. As this was my first tattoo, I was definitely nervous about the entire process. After sending a picture of the tattoo idea, scheduling the appointment and paying the deposit, I worked with artist Kamil. I cant say enough great things about his work! He was able to address all of my questions and talk me through the process before we began. I love how the tattoo turned out. I would recommend Kamil and Rock N Roll Tattoo & Piercing even for those getting their first.

Terrance the apprentice helped me out so much! I had an emergency issue with a cheap very small septum ring I put in my self that was causing major pain. He swapped it out as calmly as he could and relieved me of that horrible pain. Thank you so much Terrance!

My father and I got a matching tattoo from Victor! He was amazing, he cleaned everything in between sessions, got our tattoos exactly how we wanted and made some great suggestions. Im so glad I went to R&R Tattoo for my peircings!Lee did an excellent job last year with my helix and daith ear piercings. He is clearly experienced and explained why one of the peircings I requested was not appropriate for my anatomy and may not heal properly.Ive been back several times since to have my jewelry changed out at no charge, just the cost of the jewelry (unless I bring in my own).

I went to get a tattoo on my toe for my birthday. The guy from Ireland (I think) did my tattoo. He didn’t color my tattoo in and told me to come back to get it colored. When I tried to make an appointment to come back to get it colored they tried ti me me for through the appointment process again. Are you serious??? I was told to come back. I tried several time to call and speak to the person who did my tattoo and I even emailed him and I didn’t get a response. How professional!!!!REALLY!Furthermore…… I paid for a tattoo that you can’t even see. I have dark skin and evidently they don’t know how to tattoo on dark skin.Thank for a good birthday!!!

Went to get a septum piercing BC its been on my to do list. I always thought I was too old now to do so BC Im 45 and they made me feel comfortable on helping me feel better about my decision. I was not pierced here but have come in twice with issues with a healing nostril piercing. Both Lee & Seth have been super helpful adjusting my jewelry and talking me through the process. I had my forward helix pierced by Jimmy on 6/23/17. He was very patient and gentle. I had a great experience.I revisited today on 7/18/17, as my earring came out, and Amanda put the earring back in today, she was SO gentle that I did not feel a thing! My nose piercing was done by Lee and my daughter had a belly button piercing done on a different date. Lee was very patient and informative. He was sure to provide aftercare instructions and offered to change the piercing after healing. Lee made me very comfortable with my decision to use him. I used Google to find a Piercing place close by. The first real place was rock n roll. I read about all of the good reviews Lee was getting so I felt confident that I made the right decision. I was not wrong. I only had my ears pierced but Lee was entirely professional kept talking right through the entire procedure making sure I was fine. Quite painless. The covid-19 shot hurt worse actually. Ill definitely recommend this shop and Lee to anyone wanting a piercing.

Went to here today 2/9/13 with my brother after going to another shop down town. Place was very clean, and with in seconds an artist was asking if they could help us. Showed Nadir what I was looking to get and I decided after talking to him that I would go with a different tattoo. So I picked on off the wall. Nadir told me right off that bat that he was going to change it up just a bit, which was fine by me. I have to say with in 10min he had an outline to me that was just awesome. He was able to start the tattoo right away. Took about an hour and I cant say enough how happy I am with his work. Very nice guy talked about different things as he worked on my tattoo and was very easy and gentle with his work. I will be returning very soon to get the one that I originally wanted on my back and Nadir will be my tattoo artist from here on all. The whole staff was very friendly even the owner walked into the rooms and checked on the clients. I high recommend going here for all of your work. Thanks for the great job guys.

I wish I could write a better review for Rock N Roll. I got a few piercings done here awhile ago and loved it. Recently I reached out early this week for an appointment for an extremely basic tattoo. Told me to email, didn’t hear back. Followed up, didn’t hear back, then called, then finally heard back. Sent me an appointment schedule for the day I requested and told me they would send me a price quote and schedule me a time, never got a price quote. Finally called the night before when my appointment was supposed to be and was told there were no more appointments left. No comment on any artists or other workers, I only spoke with a man at the front desk that clearly was not organized or just didn’t care to follow up with customers.

I made an appointment to have jewelry exchanged for my nose piercing with Lee. Unfortunately, it was a bit too soon to change it out 😞. However, Lee provided me with increased comfort by adjusting the existing jewelry, as well as providing further care instructions. I will definitely come back to see him once completely healed for my exchange.

Called ahead of time to make an appt and was told it was walk in only and when I got there I didnt have to wait, which was great! Originally planned to get a different tattoo, but Kyle told me the one I picked would not have looked good in the long run because of how small it was, so I got my plan B tattoo done and he did great! Very clean shop and people were friendly. Kyle kept me laughing the whole time! Will definitely come back for my second tattoo!!!

Lee is amazing at what he does. Knows a lot about piercings and aftercare. Been going to him for over 10 years. Trust him and highly recommend him for any of your piercings. I went to the capital location to get a nose repiercing. Lee was so kind & calming. It was over before I knew it. Lee did a great job! I love how he gives a follow up appointment before you leave on your care instructions. True professionals! I also appreciated the safety precautions the shop is taking due to covid.

Fine work, but was overpriced. I spent $150 on a single-color tattoo that took 15 minutes. When I asked other places around for the cost, they would have charged $60. My fault for not educating myself and shopping around, but a 150% difference is pretty steep.

Sean did a great job with my newest tattoo! I went in person to make an appointment and he was able to do it within a couple days. Kudos to RocknRoll Tattoo, and in particular to Lee, who pierced my nipples today. Lee has been serving folks for more than 2 decades. He explained the procedure clearly and calmly (I have no prior piercings), was happy to answer all my questions, and respectful of my ideas. He was matter-of-fact, helping me feel relaxed, and executed my piercings in a straightforward way. He explained after-care measures, gave me a thorough instruction sheet with his contact information if I might need anything.I was pierced with pretty much no pain within just a few minutes. The cost was certainly reasonable, and COVID-19 and other sanitation standards were evident and reassuring.Im a man in my 60s. My wife and i are impressed with my new nipple rings. I can strongly recommend Lee and RocknRoll (notably, to other novices). I will definitely return to see Lee in a month to place lower-gauge (thicker) rings as soon as thats appropriate.

I do not remember who did my piercings but I do remember that he was very kind because of the butterflies in my stomach & stories I heard I was nervous with butterflies😁 & kept saying Im ready, then Oh no I lied, hold on. Literally the most clean and friendly tattoo shop ever. I went in nervous about getting my nipples pierced but it definitely was way better than I expected. Lee took the time to introduce himself and talk to me about nipple piercings. I can honestly admit my jitters were gone after he talked to me. I got a third hole in my ear lobes and my tragus pierced. I went one afternoon during the week. When I entered I was immediately greeted and asked what I was looking for and was quickly filling out paperwork to get things started. Fred is the piercing artist who did my ears and he was great. I was nervous but he was very chill and calm and professional. He made me feel very comfortable. He explained every step of the process and gave clear instructions on aftercare. I am very happy with my visit there and if I ever decide on any more piercings I will be returning to have Fred do them.

I saw Kat at the capital location for a rook and double helix piercings on 1/5/2020. I had never had any cartilage piercings before(just double lobes) and she made me very comfortable and took her time explaining everything to me. Ive been to this shop several times and each experience had been a pleasant one! The piercer on staff is very informative, helpful, patient and efficient! I had issues with a nose ring that I had gotten elseware and he provided insight that helped my healing process. I would definitely recommend this establishment.

Love the work i had done here, at a very reasonable price in my opinion. However my second trip was much different! The professionalism was horrible...had an artist tell me he could compete a piece for me all for him to renig on the deal as if hed never spoken or dealt with me. Told me i never paid a deposit wed never discussed and pushed my date back by three days after having a prior arrangement. Will never do business with rock n roll ever again!

I got my first tattoo ever from Kyle this morning. Could not be happier! The place is clean and welcoming (surprising given what it looks like from the street but I assure that is misleading). Kyle was fantastic, he drew my tattoo, which took a few drafts, to make something perfect for me. I was so nervous, but he talked to me the whole time which helped take my mind of off the pain (which really was NOT that bad). The end result was perfect, I will certainly be going back to him for my next tattoo. Beautiful artwork, honest staff, and a great facility!

I went in to get my nose pierced on 2/23/20. It was a little busy, but I didnt mind waiting. I worked with Lee, and let me tell you, I usually dont do that great when it comes to needles put holes in my body, but he talked me through the whole thing. He explained the different positions for a nostril piercing and made sure Id be fully happy with it. I barely felt a thing! Definitely recommend going to Lee for anything piercing related!

After turning 18 a few weeks ago I went here and got my first of many tattoos. My tattoo artist Jason Hassel did an amazing job on an intricate piece to start my arm sleeve. Hes a great guy, with amazing skills. I was really pleased with how efficiently he worked and the final product. I definitely look forward to going back to see him to finish my tattoos and would recommend him to anybody looking to get the first tattoo or just a tattoo in general!

If I could give zero stars I would! They cancelled my appointment as soon as I walked in the door. I was there early sat for a few minutes for the receptionist to tell me “the artist (Kamil) can do your tattoo but not the whole thing.” I said ok waited for about 15 minutes while I could hear the 2 of them bickering (he had someone on the table) , the receptionist came back up to me with no remorse at all and said that he couldn’t do the tattoo at all and wanted to reschedule for about a month or so out. They had also messaged me a few hours prior to the appointment confirming that I was coming in. So much for my deposit, probably why they only take $20!!! Highly recommend NOT going here!

Got a couple tattoos from Kyle earlier, he went extra deep on the tats, his line work isn’t the best, he didn’t shave the hairs off of my body before he tattooed me, he also didn’t clean one of the areas where i got tattooed. he just didn’t seem like a very clean tattoo artist and he didn’t seem to really care about what he was doing. he also didn’t put any type of bandages on my tattoos nor did he tell me about any type of aftercare whatsoever. i wouldn’t recommend this shop to anyone. Not sure why the reviews on this place are so high. Oh and not to mention he definitely wasn’t the most friendly guy so he made me feel pretty uncomfortable. Just an honest review.

I got my tongue pierced on Sunday, 5/12/13 at about 9:00 PM.Rock N Roll Tattoo is a very clean shop. It is deceiving from the outside! Its actually really big and nice inside. It was one of the better shops Ive been into.The guy that pierced me (I think his name was Jeff) was very professional and nice.I was in and out within probably 10 minutes. The tongue piercing costs $30, which includes the barbell. I tipped $5 for the great service. My only word of caution is pretty much a no-brainer, but dont bring anyone that is easily offended by swearing. (Small children or old people.) The guys running the shop dropped a lot of F-bombs in the short time I was there. It didnt bother me one bit, but I know some people are overly sensitive. I will definitely be back in the future and I would recommend Rock N Roll Tattoo for anyone.

My wife, son, and I had our family crest tattooed earlier this week. The artists at Rock and Roll were professionals in every manner. The shop was clean, everyone was courteous, and the final product was spectacular. I would recommend this shop to anyone considering getting a tattoo.

I was extremely nervous about getting piercings and sheawn (I can’t remember how he spelled it) was so great. He gave me a lot of reassurance and by the time he got started I felt calm and comfortable.

I walked in today to get my cartilage repierced. All visible personnel did not greet me or ask if I needed any help during the few minutes I spent looking for the hoop I wanted. They were all too busy watching a show on their TV and talking about it. Its a shame because the last time I went the guy that does the piercings was super friendly and helped me though I was not actually getting a piercing at the time. I was confident Id get what I needed today from the last experience but this one has left me needing to find a new place to go that cares when someone walks in.

Ive been here twice now, once in October 2014 for my belly button piercing, and then again today for my nose pierced piercing. Lee pierced me today and he was so calming and very experienced that it helped ease my nerves so much. Super quick and barely noticable pinch .Ill definitely be back for future piercings.

I got my rook,navel,nostril, and lip piercings done here. The environment is sterile and Seth and Lee have a lot of experience. Seth and Lee take their time and explain the process. Seth gives you his card and follows up to make sure the piercing is healing correctly. Both are really thorough about cleaning instructions.

I just got my first tattoo ever from here and i had always had it recommended to me when i was looking for places to go, I have also seem some nice work done there. A while back i did get a piercing from Rock n Roll and I observed that it is a very clean business. My artist was Jason Hassel and it was a very good first experience. I am very specific about what i get done to my body and i was very picky on how I wanted my tattoo, but he work with me through the process and got to work. His lines were very clean and placement was very nice. He did not rush, but he also didnt take forever. Additionally, he was very generous with the pricing and didnt try to cheat me out of anything. I highly recommend Rock n Roll and I also recommend Jason.

Rock n roll tattoo is the best. I have gotten a few of my tattoos done there and I prefer them over other shops in Raleigh. The thing I love about them is that they are super friendly and excited about what they do. Hassel did a tattoo for me today free hand and it is incredible. I rated earlier on my experience of this place and one of the workers had commented back saying I was a liar. I went in on Friday around 4-5pm and filled out paper work and even paid a $20 deposit. The artist and the receptionist were both very aware of the tattoo I wanted, foot prints, a bible verse and a flower. I told them whatever weekend you can I’m in no rush. When I went in on Friday Kamil was rushing me on what I wanted and was trying to get me to do it then and there but I told him only weekends and he walked over, looked at his schedule and said “Can you do Sunday at 6?” And I said yes. The receptionist scanned my ID and I also paid. I could’ve made a bigger deal then I did but I just walked out! The receptionist offered me a Tuesday appointment and I declined because I’m a SAHM with a 5 month old (which I explained on Friday when making the appointment cus I even came in with my child to schedule). Once I declined he offered me a few weeks out and nothing more. I would highly recommend not calling your customers/clients liars cus that will get you no where.EDIT: and they deleted my previous comment. What happened was I had an appointment at 6pm on this past Sunday and they cancelled on me after waiting in the lobby for several minutes. The artist (Kamil) and the receptionist (he had dreads and glasses) were aware of what I wanted and when I was coming in. The receptionist even scanned my ID and took my payment of $20. That same day I received a message from them and I was pretty much confirming the appointment and they said nothing about him being behind. I recently got my first tattoo done by Jason Hassel and I was super impressed from our first meeting when talking about what I wanted and his drawing exactly represented our conversation. My second visit to start my tattoo was equally impressive. It was a great experience and I highly recommend!

Bella at Rock N Roll Tattoo was recommended to me by a couple of my friends. Words cannot explain how amazing of a job she did to cover up my very first tattoo that was unfortunately messed up. I’m going to her from now on for any future work.

Went in for Friday the 13th flash sale! Jason did quick accurate work and Im so happy with the end result! I was there for a minute but it was worth it. Facility was clean, staff was pleasant and they were nice enough to get us pizza and sodas since we were gonna be waiting awhile. Great experience.

I have had 5 of my 6 tats and 1 piercing done here. The staff are awesome! The experiences that Ive had here have been so good, that I brought my daughter here for her 1st tat. Both of us will be coming back!

Came in here and got a good tattoo. There were nice and professional. Was in and out in under 30 minutes. Kamil Wojcik did the tattoo. Was nice clean and professional. Explained everything and sanitized everything. Really enjoyed my experience. Will add a picture later

Kyle started my sleeve from scratch and its absolutely beautiful. He is an extremely gifted artist and really listens to what you want done. Hes a ton of fun to be stuck in the same room with for hours at end, which is a big bonus. I seriously cant recommend him high enough. Me and my fiancé were walk ins and got matching tattoos by Jason Hassel. It was a great comfortable, clean, and fun experience. Jason worked with us to give us what we wanted and they came out great. We love our tattoos! Just moved down from NY and Jason is one of the best artists Ive had yet! Friendly clean business too!

I would like to start off by saying that I am new to getting tattoos and this was my very first tattoo. The guy that handles making appointments and dealing with the customer is extremely rude and unprofessional. He made rude jokes and I felt so uncomfortable around him but I figured since he wasnt going to be my artist that it would be fine. I get there on time for my tattoo and the artist barley says a word to be about the tattoo, the placement, the cost and doesnt walk me through what hes doing or going to do at all. While we were in the room and he was tattooing me his phone rang and he picked up his phone (which is the dirtiest thing someone can own) and stop doing my tattoo and talked in the phone and then proceeded to continue with my tattoo without removing those gloves and putting on sterile gloves. Then when it came to discussing aftercare he was very short and bland with the instructions and keep in mind Ive never had a tattoo done before so idk what to do. Then when it was time to pay I walked up to the front counter and the receptionist guy says what do you want and I tell him I need to pay and he laughs and says you pay him talking about the artist but HOW was I supposed to know that when no one told me and Ive never gotten a tattoo before! Like I dont know anything about this stuff and its like he excepted me too.The store was clean and the work is alright but the people and the atmosphere is terrible and I will never go back or recommend this place to anyone!

I got my belly button pierced over summer and my experience was terrible from the beginning. I walked in and practically had to yell to get their attention after standing there waiting for 10 minutes. Once they took my money I had to wait another 20-30 minutes to actually be taken back for my piercing even though I was the only one in the shop. Once Fred finished, I was given no care instructions for it and as we were walking out, they made a joke about how he was sick and still pierced my belly button which then got infected a week later even with constant cleaning like I was told after having to call another piercer for care instructions. Definitely wont be going back for any more piercings.

Went today for navel piercing and Lee did an amazing job! Fast and very knowledgeable. Was a little nervous but he talked me through everything! Will deff recommend to everyone! And I will be back (:

I got my belly pierced like a year ago from Lee, and he did a wonderful job, I was very nervous and he helped ease my nervousness and it went by very well, yesterday I got my nose pierced by Lee again and it went by fast and smoothly. A great place go, I definitely recommend going here!

I finally am able to wear earring!! This was the third time I had my ears pierced. I have tried two different times in malls and both times my ears were so infected that they bled and took months to heal. I check reviews and found Rock and Roll Tattoo & Piercing. At first I didnt know what to expect going to a tattoo place as I have never been in one before but they were friendly and helpful as soon as I walked in the door. Jason Hassle, one of the artist here at Rock N Roll, this guy is hands down the best artist Ive ever been too. Ive spent around 3 grand, probably more with him. Im to the point now where I just let him tattoo me, I dont question his colors, shading or anything else because every tattoo hes done on me has been great. If your looking to get your first tattoo or your 40th. Hes the guy for you.

I came in on 12/20/17 to get a double nostril piercing on the same side. The shop is spacious and CLEAN. I was greeted as soon as I entered. I only waited maybe 5 min. I was a walk in. Seth introduced his self. I explained to him what I wanted done. I originally picked out the 2mm studs. Seth recommend that since I was getting 2 piercings done that the 1.5mm studs would look better. I also explained to Seth that I planned to wear hoops and studs once it was healed. Seth was honest and explained to me that with the shape of my nose if I wanted to wear hoops that I should just get one piercing but if I wanted to get the double piercing I should wear studs. I really appreciate his honesty because that was one of the reasons it took me so long to come get it pierced wasnt sure if it would look good. I continued to get the double piercing. Seth explained every step of the piercing. He was extremely gentle and quick. Matter of fact I thought he only did one piercing when in fact he already did both. Felt like a quick pinch wasnt painful at all. Seth explained how to take care of them. He didnt push any products on me at all even though I bought the product that the shop has for sale. The piercing was $30 a piece plus I tipped. I woke up this morning to see that one of my piercing had sunk which I know it can be from swelling but I was a little nervous about it so I went back to RNR so Seth could have a look at it. Seth wasnt in but Lee was. Lee is extremely pleasant. Even though Lee didnt do my piercing he explained to me that it was normal just that I had a double piercing so it is a little bit more swolling then normal.(btw you cant look at it and see that it was swollen it was from the inside.it was hardly red)Lee took me to the back and took at my stud and adjusted the back to give it more room for the swelling. At no extra cost. It was quick and pain free. Lee said if I had any more questions or concerns to come back anytime. Before I stopped in my nose was a little sore now I dont even feel it like I never even had it pierced. I will definitely be back for any more piercings in the future. I recommend Seth and Lee they make you feel very comfortable and answer your questions open and honestly. My piercings look better then I even thought they would.

At some point I had been tattooed by every artist that worked there. Im not sure if theres been turnover since my last time there but a great place to go for tattoos or piercings! Lee is a great piercer and knows what hes doing

I had to go to rock n roll to get my nose ring back in it had came out overnight and I failed trying to put it in the morning since it started to close. When I got there around noon I waited till it was my turn (not too long of a wait) and the girl was super sweet I forgot to catch her name but she helped me pick new jewelry out and she reopened my nose piercing. She was awesome so sweet and nice the customer service was great I love going here 😊

I was so nervous. The guy that did my tattoo his name is Noah and he had me laughing putting me at ease. I love my tattoo. He did a great job. I wish he would have wrote down how to take care of my tattoo. I called back to confirm what he said and a different person said take the hottest shower I can stand.I had two people with me. I had to call them just to find out what Noah instructed. Noah never said such and I wish everyone there would be on same page. 5 star for Noah 4 star for the business.

My girlfriend got her nose pierced here. Had a great experience with friendly staff. She was very nervous, but Lee did a great job calming her down, and now she cant stop talking about how much she loves it.

I will never go to another place or use another artist again. I have many tattoos with all of them, except todays, coming from Warlocks tattoo. Warlocks has gone down hill and can now shove it. Prior to going to Rock n Roll Tattoo, I went to multiple other places such as Blue Flame who provided poor customer service and advised that the detail required on my tattoo (Pink Floyd The Wall theme) could not be done. I then decided to give one last shop a try and I couldnt be happier. I immediately received service from Jason who was happy to discuss my wishes and what could be done. Guess what? Jason was able to tattoo every inch of detail required for my piece and I couldnt be happier. Another artist was also more than willing to immediately help a friend. In the end we were both able to get pieces we could not be happier with. I am already planning on using Jason for another tattoo in the very near future. The owner even came into the room multiple times to check the progress and to see if I was comfortable. The entire staff was very welcoming and friendly and have no clue what the others are referencing regarding foul language. This is an A plus shop that will get my business multiple more times. Jason...you da man bro!

Place is clean and very nice staff. I went here to get my naval pierced. The artist who pieced my naval did not seem to be in a hurry until she was actually sticking me with the needle. She moved way too fast for this process and I ended up with a crooked piercing. The healing process for this piercing is ALOT longer for those who dont know. So far no issues with infection. Soem irritaion. Most of my discomfort comes from the fact that I spent way too much money for a professional to do the job and instead I got a crooked piercing.

I visited the shop on capital Blvd to get my nipples pierced about a month ago. I had a great experience and Justin did a great Job. He made me feel very comfortable. I will definitely be returning soon for another piercing.

They have some of the funniest funniest an sweetest staff an when I was a lil nervous to get my nose pierced they made it seem like nothing they’re really chill love them🫶🏽

Got my cover up done here about a year ago, Noah did an amazing job and I am still very happy with his work. My birthday is coming up in the next few weeks and I will definitely be coming by for a visit!

Lee is AMAZING! I walked in with 2 nervous young ladies...1 symmetrical nose piercing, 1 single nose piercing, and 1 belly button piercing later...I left with 2 happy and excited young ladies!! Thank you Lee...you made my daughters birthday great!!

Kamil did awesome work on my tattoo. I have full sleeves, so Ive had multiple tattoo artist and Kamil gave me some of the cleanest lines Ive ever had. Shop was very clean and organized.

If I could rate it a 0 for customer service I would. Spent 10mins on the phone trying to find the right place because they didnt change the address on Google. So when I finally get there, I think his name was Seth was to do my tongue piercing. He was not very kind. I simply wanted to explain my prior experience with my piercing and his responses was sarcastic. Different state, different shop I get it but its still good to inform of prior experiences. Walked out. No satisfaction. Off to spend my money where customer service is primary.

I highly recommend this place. Excellent customer service and staff, clean and respectful. Was greeted and treated like a VIP! The artist Chris did an excellent job hooking me up with my new skeleton hand tattoo(on my hand)....all while listening to Danzig....couldn’t have been more perfect right? Had a great experience there and will be returning for more work!
