Underground Art is fantastic! My two friends and I wanted to get tattoos! Trey was so helpful with setting up our appointments and welcoming us upon our arrival! Jay is an amazing artist!! He listened to what we wanted and tattooed some awesome artwork on us! Will definitely be back!

If I could give more stars, I would! Great atmosphere, great people, and great work! I will be returning. For once I find a shop that I can go back to multiple times. Also, they introduced me to color and it came out beautiful! Best shop to get tattoos and/or piercings at. My go- to artist is Jay, I highly recommend him, I’ve had multiple tattoos done by him from large custom pieces to small tattoos and it’s always 1000/10 experience! 🔥 From his level of cleanliness to professionalism and mannerism, you name it he got it. Great atmosphere the vibes are always a 10/10 everyone is friendly and welcoming. This is the shop you want to be at, whether it’s a planned tattoo or you’re feeling spontaneous, they take appointments and walk-ins!

Went to get a last min tattoo yesterday. The owner Jay was very nice, makes you feel comfortable and welcomed. The shop was clean and chill. My artist Ant did a great job and I definitely will be back for more.

It was a good experience such a vibe . My tattoo artist Nascartatts did his thing on my tattoo it came out better then the picture.They are very welcoming as soon as your walk in the door .

Overall, amazing atmosphere and amazing work. The artists make sure you are comfortable, they are friendly whilst still being very professional. Pat did my tattoo and I love it! He did an amazing job, I definitely recommend his work and going to the shop.

10/10 amazing experience at underground! the artists are awesome and really make you feel super comfortable! I got these two fine line tattoos with Rico. He did a perfect job and really took his time with helping us out on creating the designs. Most definitely coming back soon!!

Close to downtown, affordable, and a fun place to get tattooed! After trying many artists from around Raleigh, this one has definitely been my favorite.

Rico designed tattoos for my girlfriend and I within only an hour or two after failed walk-ins at other tattoo shops so he took us in as a walk-in and did the BEST detail on our tattoos and was very patient with us. The vibe of the shop is almost like you’re hanging out with your close friends. He gave us an amazing deal and it was super inexpensive for such beautiful work. Thanks Rico! I went for 2 tattoos from Rico and I loved the experience! They all made me feel very welcomed and at ease. All my questions were answered and the tattoos are great! Wasn’t expecting to come back so soon but I couldn’t say no after my first visit! Definitely coming back for more for sure!

Ive been here the last 2 days for separate pieces getting tatted by Rico. Hes great he did about a 7 hour tat session split between 3 people. Hes very clean and professional. Definitely will be returning for more. Found my new tattoo haven.

WOW. I truly cannot get over how AMAZING my experience was. You know that TikTok sound “don’t be sad, go get a tattoo?” I found this place because I was feeling that sound, and thank god I found them. Mostly painless, great service, super kind people, super fast, and exactly what I wanted!!! The price was also amazing. Will definitely be coming back with my friends, family, coworkers, and random people I meet on the way back here. 11/10 experience.

Got tattooed by Rico two days in a row and I couldn’t be more pleased. He did an amazing job. He was very easy to talk to as well and I am very happy with both the tattoo and the experience itself. Would go here again without hesitation.

I went for a tattoo on Saturday and it was the best experience. Rico did my tattoo he was very professional and made you feel very welcomed. The play is very nice they even give out water if you need some. If you need a tattoo go to Rico he will hook you up for sure.
