My sisters and I wanted to get matching tattoos to honor our mother who is sick. We all live in different states and rarely see each other. But during this time we were gathered together as sisters and had a good day. We were able to get an appointment easily. The shop is clean and LJ is super friendly and funny. Engaged with us the whole time. He did a beautiful job! I came here to read these reviews before choosing this shop so I wanted to add mine too! I have been going to LJ for the past 4 years, and I would never go anywhere else! Whenever people see my tattoos they have always asked where I got them done and usually dont believe me when I say that work that looks this good was done in South Dakota. I go to college on the eastern side of the state, and have had one of my roommates from California make the trip out to see him to get work done as she couldnt find anyone in California that could accomplish what she wanted. He is such a great guy to hang out with as all my tattoos have taken about 5 hours each, but it never felt that long. I would recommend that you go to him if you want t love your new artwork and to have a great and clean experience at a reasonable price.

Both tattoos I have (so far) were done by LJ and I couldnt have asked for better experiences. The first was a custom arm band, and it came out better than I imagined. The second was a moogle from Final Fantasy that he made look like a sticker. I love them both so much. I would eventually like to have a sleeve relating to Final Fantasy and only trust LJ and Rushmore Tattoo Company to do this for me.

LJ is such a creative and talented artisit. He brings your tattoos to life. Very professional and hard working. Love LJs work! He did amazing work on my fiancé & I. I got one simple one and a cute peach that turned out just like I wanted it too. My fiancé got a wolf on his neck & he said LJs handwork was very light & it barely hurt.

All 12 of my tattoos LJ has done and I wont go to anyone else but him! He does such fantastics work and my tattoos always comes out better then I imagend they would! Everyone that asks me where to get a tattoo from I tell them to go to Lj because be honestly is the best Ive ever seen!

Got my first tattoo here and I had a pleasant enough experience to warrant getting another tattoo. The tattoo was an all day process but, but enough breaks were allowed to make sure I was comfortable and that the tattoo got done.

My tattoo experience was awesome here! I went in for a cover up, he fit me in right away and did over and above what I had expected. I highly recommend coming here for a tattoo!
