My oldest daughter brought my youngest daughter here to get her ears pierced. The ladies were awesome! The process was quick, they were efficient &very professional. I think I know where Im going for my next tat. 😁❤✊ thank you Ladies!

Went to this place for the first time and honestly so glad I did. I just moved here and it’s hard to find a piercer I trust with my body. Although I just went for a jewelry change, I plan on going back this weekend to get some piercings!! Lexi was so welcoming and understanding, she really listens to you and try’s to accommodate your piercing to the way you’d like it but in a safe and healable way of course!! Loved this place!!

I got a lower double helix done by Lexi and it was the best piercing experience Ive ever had! She was quick, efficient, and so so kind. Ill definitely be coming back to see her for piercings!

We took our 5-year-old daughter here today to get her ears pierced, and they were really good with her, explaining everything to her. They were able to do both her ears at the same time and it didnt seem to hurt her ears at all and it went very smoothly. We decided after the fact that we didnt like the placement of one of her ears and when we went in to ask about what steps to take to get it fixed, we were surprised when they said theyd fix it right then, and they were so patient with our girl and extra gentle when repiercing her ear and Im just happy they seemed genuinely concerned with making it look good for her and they were really understanding about everything. Her ears look awesome and shes so happy with her new look 😊

Visited for my first piercing and had a comfortable (and surprisingly fast) experience. Lovely staff and cool building. I dont *need* to BUT I want to get more piercings and Id definitely be coming back here! Ill have to settle on a tattoo design too and get one here

Nothing but wonderful experiences here, honestly deserves a 5-star bc of how kind, caring and attentive the owner is. In response to the 1-star review, you’re told that there are no refunds and I’m pretty sure it says that in the waiver you sign before you get your piercing. If you can see the bar through the skin then that means that it’s rejecting. Honestly, it’s your fault for not paying attention to it and for not taking it out in-time. The audacity to ask for a refund months LATER is really funny.

I have had two piercings done since January, a daith and helix piercing. Mandy did both and did an amazing job. She is super professional and extremely fast. If you need a piercing I would definitely go to her! Only complaint I have is on the website, they list these piercings as $70 each. I paid $85 for each plus tip, which isn’t that big of a deal I was just expecting to pay a little less. Nonetheless, I had great experiences here and would recommend them to people in the black hills!

I called ahead to schedule an appointment for a nostril piercing. They got me in within an hour. The shop is very clean. Lexi was my piercer and we ended up doing a double nostril piercing. She explained everything really well and was very kind. Everything was sanitary and or sterile. Overall amazing service. Whenever I want my next piercing I will just wait until I’m in town again to get it done here.

I went in to get my tongue done for my birthday and the lady who did it was lovely. She made me feel comfortable and safe while doing it and even gave my a pixie stick afterwards. Her advice on the healing process was super helpful and I plan on going back for more piercings (she had those horn body mods & super pretty

Spent $90 on getting my forward helix pierced. Two months later, completely tore through my ear. I was obviously warned of it getting rejected, but nobody warned me that this would happen. When I called to see if I could get a refund the woman on the phone was very short and rude with me and acted like I was very dumb. Now my ear is stuck like this. Will never be going back here and I advise you don’t ever go there either.

Mandy is the absolute best! I would never go to anyone else. She has pierced my ears and my nose. I’m someone that has a severe phobia of needles and Mandy was so accommodating and kind. She made all of my experiences comfortable and virtually pain free. Highly recommend going there!

BEWARE!!!!Gemini is a THIEF!! He came to the San Antonio area a few months ago and my husband and I booked an appointment with him after his family members made a FB post on one of our local pages saying he was a great artist and he was coming to town. So we took a chance being we took our boys to get their haircuts at the authors barber shop, so we figured we could trust them and him. My husband and I wanted to get tattoos honoring our prior service in the military. We contacted Gemini and set a date and he requested a $200 deposit ($100 from each of us) and we paid it to him to secure our future appointment. When the day came for our tattoos (mind you my husband took the day off) I contacted him in the morning to ask if we should meet him at the barber shop. He asks me…who is this?, where are you located?, what where your tattoos? 😳I was in complete shock because we had an appointment and my husband and I were excited!! I had to remind him with screenshots and earlier texts and proof of payment of my deposit. After his memory came back to life he gave a bunch of excuses of why he had to leave the area and go back home. He then promised to pay me back but he never did. I stated that was unacceptable because just as he expected his deposit immediately I expected my refund immediately!!Well, long story short I have had to get his family involved (which he doesn’t like and is the only way he will respond back to me) to get 1/2 of my deposit back months after. I’ve called, begged, pleaded, and even tried to make a payment plan and arrangements and all he does is just ghost me and my husband.All we wanted was our tattoos!!! And all we have gotten is grief!And according to the original post that we were inspired to get the tattoos she stated, and I quote, “trust us on this, you won’t be disappointed with your work”.Well we are BEYOND DISAPPOINTED and we didn’t even get a tattoo!!!!!!GIVE ME MY MONEY GEMINI!!!!!!!

My 6 year old got her ear lobes pierced here and we were so pleased with them. The piercers got down to her level and explained the process, two piercers did the two lobes at the same time which was awesome, and they were so quick. She didn’t even cry! We will absolutely come back again with our other daughters if they want their ears pierced as well.

I went to go get my tounge pierced and Mandy did such an excellent job. She helped me stay at ease and has a very calm presence about her, the piercing was quick and fortunately wasnt too painful! Good price, it was clean in the shop as well. Everyone was required to wear a mask upon entering and had gotten temperature checks before getting seen by the piercer or tattoo artist!

Took my child to get their ears pierced. Everyone was wonderful, kind, and patient. We ended up leaving the first time as my child was too nervous. Staff was kind and understanding. We came back an hour later and got the ears pierced. Thank you so much for all your help and kindness.

This place is phenomenal! Especially Mandy Lash. The shop itself is clean and beautiful. The service was great. Mandy was also very kind and easy to talk to. I had to go in for a dermal removal on my back; Mandy took care of me and she was quick and even went the extra mile to help me get some new jewelry in another dermal I have on my face.

I had to stop here because of a piercing that I already had. The bar was too short and my ear was swollen and pushing it out of my ear. The shop was very clean. The lady who does the piercings (I forgot her name) was awesome. She was so willing to do it and helped me right away. She also didnt charge me and I couldnt believe she did that for me. I tipped her anyways and was so grateful. If I was ever in the area needing a piercing I would definitely go there.

They were very rude, and had that Im better than you vibe. Very ostracizing about how sensitive our ears are. When we told them the jewelry that works for our ears they refused to use it because its bad quality, but silver is the only metal that doesnt make our ears get infected. Very rude.

I came here twice, once to get my daith jewelry changed and once to get my rook jewelry changed. Both had piercing bumps from being pierced with captive beads rings. The curved barbells I chose to change into were well priced and the young lady who changed my piercings did so well and was so nice! She gave me some tips on how to prevent bumps and when I left my bumps were completely gone and have not returned! Definitely recommend!

Had our daughters ears pierced there, the day after her 5th birthday. They did an amazing job and had 2 people to do both ears at the same time. Simply amazing experience, will be going back and highly recommend!!!

Mandy did my nose piercing and she did absolutely amazing! She was completely thorough in letting me know exactly how to care for it and exactly what to expect and she made me feel so comfortable getting it done because I was a nervous wreck. I would absolutely recommend her and I LOVEEEE my piercing!

Brandy is a great piercer! Ive had several done from her and shes awesome. She swaps the needle to the jewelry so fast you barely feel a thing. Theyll also swap your barbells out for smaller ones free of charge after a few weeks of healing!

So I got my nose pierced today, the lady who did it (I can’t remember her name) but she was amazing! Definitely recommend!! All the staff was so nice and also when she pierced my nose I hardly felt a thing. I’m not saying you won’t feel anything but mine went very smoothly.

Stopped by a while back for some spontaneous tattoos. I entered to a warm welcome, an easy process, and some wonderful work. Andy did an awesome job, and is an excellent individual! Ive been to quite a few places across the country, and this is easily one of my favorites !

The staff was staff was awesome and friendly. My wife always says that she wants a piercing or tattoo but freaks out. The lady doing it made her calm and talked her through every step. We both were extremely satisfied. It was a little more expensive than what I am used to but it was worth it.

Took my 7 year old there to get her ears pierced. Very clean and professional, and so very sweet to my nervous and excited little girl! She absolutely loves her earrings and spend the rest of the afternoon showing them off to everyone she met.

Mandy Lash was amazing. My conch peircing was done elsewhere but I needed a hoop put in to help feel more comfortable. She hooked me up with excellent service and tips to keep it healing well. Highly recommend. :)

Tattoo artist Gemini did an amazing job on my brothers memorial tattoo. Very clean, he put a unique touch to it that tied the whole thing together making it a very good experience. Staff members are friendly. I would highly recommend getting a tattoo or piercing from here!

Excellent artistry and very helpful staff. This place is clean and professional. They are willing to work with you on selecting the perfect piece of art for your next tattoo. The lobby is very comfortable and there are plenty of tattoo books to look at while you wait. They are also on Facebook and that makes it very easy to communicate through messenger. I highly recommend this place for a great tattoo. The piercings are also done very discreetly and professionally.

Iv had no problems with the piercings i have had done here. Amazing job. But when you guys close the store whenever you want just because it’s a slow day why not say that on your website instead of having people waste their time just to find out your not even open.

Mike had done both of my tats. They are custom art from some of my favorite jewelry pieces and look great. We always have a nice visit as he works and it takes my mind off what is happening with all those needles. I recommend Black Hills Tattoo to all my friends.

They helped me change my ring even though I didnt get my piercing there and they only charged me the price of the ring. I checked out wild idea after and they charged me 4 times what black hills did and black hills took more time to give me what I wanted and talk me through everything. The staff was much friendlier at black hills as well. Would totally recommend over any other piercer Ive been to in town.

I had gone to Mandy for two piercings I had done, first one being my nipples. It was my second time having them done and they were done very bad to where I had to go and pay for them to get redone else where. I also had gone back after thinking it was jus a lil mistake to have her pierce my tongue super duperrrrr crooked. Am now out a little over $200 and would not recommend anyone to get pierced by Mandy as I’ve been told I am not even close to being the only one this has happened to. I would add a picture but I can’t seem to figure out how

Jesse is an awesome artist. He did a fantastic job on my Wily Coyote and Bar and Shield with F.T.W in the bar. My husband made an appointment for Jesse to do a new piece for him. I will definitely have him do my Native American Medicine Wheel with feathers hanging from the bottom. Also my husband got his ear pierced by Brandy. Both people are amazing and a great asset to the company. Black Hills Tattoo and Piercing is definitely our new shop for any services that we want that they offer.

The first time I got my ears peirced, it was a nightmare (not at here). I decided to get mine repeirced here after letting them heal up, and Ive had no issues. I was bracing for the nightmare and Im relived

I got my nose pierced there this morning and it went SO smoothly. My friend also got her daith piercing. It was so fast and they created such a fun and laid back environment. Definitely would go back there in a heartbeat.

Great service, this was my first piercing done by them and I had no problems. The lady who pierced my nose was very helpful, she calmed me down and helped me understand the caretaking I need to do for my piercing.

Came here yesterday for the first time to get some piercings because where I normally go was busy. They were able to fit me in and they made the piercing process quick and were able to answer any questions I had. Will definitely go here again.

I had been in contact with Blacks Hills regarding piercing my daughters nose. I even let them know Id be in on the 17th to get it done. Showed up today around 4:30pm to have it done, they were closed, no note on the door, no explanation. The hours on the door say they are open until 7pm, they even have a special for 25% off for walk ins on Mondays. Very dissatisfied excustomer! I guess we will go elsewhere, too bad too, all 3 of us were going to get our noses pierced.

My daughter had her cartilage pierced from a different piercer. He put in a post that was way too short and it started growing into her skin, which was very painful. I believe it was the owner who helped us, I forgot to ask her name. She took her in without an appointment and took such care of her. Thank you, again, so much for your help!!!

I do all my percings through this wonderful lady Mandy. She is so sweet and kind and doesnt just peirce what you want correctly but she also dose free after care and more women is amazingly gorgeous inside and out.

My daughter enjoys this its her go-to place when she needs a piercing. Id recommend going here its a great place.

Loved my experience. Me and my daught got tattoos from Morgan. Daughters first tattoo. She was nervous about it. We are very please with how they came out.

Terrible. Can’t remember the ladies name but I got my lip pierced. Severely bruised, nonstop bleeding. Next morning I had to go to the hospital to get it taken out because she went through the superior labial artery in the lip and caused me to get my lip cauterized and stitched. Wouldn’t recommend.

Didn’t tell me I couldn’t get 6 piercings in one day caused all but 2 to be extremely swollen the 4 on my lip were lopsided as well

Got 2 tongue piercings and a septum done here and they were super nice and helpful. 10/10 would recommend.

This was the second time I attempted to go to this place to get my nose pierced. The first time google stated they were open so I stopped by, no one there. Tried again about a month or two later, Google again said they were open. Their website says no appointment needed. Stop and they were closed. Again. I took my business somewhere else.

Made me and my friend feel super comfortable. I got my nostril done and she did her septum and we’re both happy with how they turned out!

My daughter has had 5 piercings here and wont go anywhere else. They are kind and very gentle!

Gemini has been on a massive power trip disrespecting his clients and staff since he has taken manager. Not to mention he over charges compared to anyone else in there. Not worth it. Run! Don’t go here. Gemini ruined this place.

Moved here looking for a new tattoo shop...checked out a couple an went in to this one was Introduced to Lash as my ole lady had some piercings done...we had a great talk...went over future ink an looked at his art work....he took time to talk to me an earn my business ...had some bills from moving and havent went back yet but will...he has all my business.

Ive had tattoos done all over the country, and LJ at BHT&P has, by far, the most talent out of any of them. In fact I might need him to fix the ones around it so theres not such a contrasting difference in quality.
