Iron Mountain Tattoo

Iron Mountain is my favorite place to get tattooed in Redding. It’s a real shop with real folks with real skills. I’ve always been happy with every piece I’ve received, which is many over the years. Currently in process on a new piece with Eli. His thoughtfulness and quality of work is very appreciated. Definitely recommend coming in to see anyone at this shop!

Iron mountain tattoo is the most beautiful shop in all of Redding. As soon as I walked through the doors I knew I was in good hands. Everyone is well rounded and willing to help bring your ideas to life. Don’t be fooled by imitators. This place is the real deal.

Had an amazing session with Curt! Because of the location of the piece I was expecting to be in agony, quite the opposite! This man is FAR from heavy-handed and an AMAZING artist on top of it! He worked with me through the whole design, indulged the few requests I had, and I couldnt be happier with the results! I honestly cant imagine Ill ever get another tattoo from anyone else but Curt!

Iron Mountain has been my go to tattoo shop for the past 7 years. Everyone there is very nice, professional, and always willing to work with what you want. I’ve been tattooed by Curt, Matthew, and Aaron and I’ve never been disappointed by the art they’ve created. Amazing experience every time!

The best tattoo shop in Redding!!! They always do a damn good job! I got the flower of life on my outer thigh by Brad and it turned out AMAZING!! Plus it took less then a week to heal. Ill always go to this shop for more body art.

I was so disappointed in this place. Jacqui Alberts seemed cool enough in person, scheduled two appointments and paid for 8+hours in advance, with an agreement between her and I that I would get two full sleeves from her, as well as shoulder pieces, and potentially line work on a back piece during her travels. We discussed the artwork, I am an artist, and had a outline already made of what I wanted. She asked me to send her an email explaining everything we discussed. I did, and got no response. When I showed up to my first appointment she was not done with my artwork and asked me to come back 2 hours later. The tattoos looked good and the people were nice, so I just went with the flow. For my second appointment, she was late again, by hours, 2+. She had issues with her machine stating paper towel was stuck in it. The results are visible on my forearm, spotty lines it appeared she was even frustrated with, as she cut the appointment short by an hour, leaving me with $150 on the books and two dissatisfying experiences. At this point I had spent quite a bit of money to have two appointments and somehow drive back and forth to the shop more than 8 times because my artist wasnt ready at the scheduled time... I called the shop and asked if I could potentially shift that $150 to another artists books since Jacqui was leaving the area and a few in the shop had suggested they could pick up her work when she left. I was talked down to and told that would not be possible. I never did get that $150 back, but didnt want to deal with any further disrespect. Taking my tattoo business elsewhere indefinitely.

I can’t begin to thank Nick enough for doing a walk in memorial tattoo for me today, they were so kind and made me smile on a day that had been really rough for me. You’re the best!

Always have gone to Luke, hes the goat. Puts a lot of time and effort into his work. Always have left super satisfied with what I asked for. - Just tell him what you want and hell get the job done!

Worked with Aaron to get a shoulder peice done. Great experience. And even better work. Kept small talk throughout but also kept checking how I was doing, I tend to shake and jolt all day everyday anyways. But great work and 100% reccomend.

Got my tattoo done by Jacquai and she did an amazing job! The outline is perfect, the shading is perfect, and the color is perfect. She was so nice and, since I got my tattoo in a difficult spot, very supportive. Great experience.

Excellent service, but youll have to wait for it (as is normal with the best artists). If you do not like hard rock and metal music, dont go here. Good quality tattoos!

The artists are all incredibly experienced and professional in what they do. They will take what someone brings them and up it to the next level. Their prices are beyond comparable to other shops in town and theyre friendly as all hell. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

Been looking for a great tattoo shop and I finally found one I did a walk in matt was very professional and great would definitely recommend going to iron moutian if you want great quality tattoo just got mine last night and might be back agian today

Very rude, did not feel comfortable or welcome. The tattoo was good, but from beginning to end myself and company did not feel as if we were being welcomed.
