The first tattoo is what i wanted the other two pics are what i got , it looks nothing like what i asked for, I was told that the color was the brightest on the narket but you can barely see it. I have a friend who is a colored person and her color on her tats look great. I would not go back to this place or recommend it. We thought it was sketching frim the start bc we thought it was a shop but it was in his house no License on the wall or anything no tattoo, portfolio or books, but I dont think my answers were the truth i should have went with my gut feelings now i have to pay to get this fixed. What you think of me doesnt matter i am not acting like i am a business owner and I stand by what I said This look horrible, ppl have asked me who did it and i tell them and they are like you are crazy they suck and you are not ranked anything in the state you dont even have a business license or a tattooing license or a certificate from the health department nor did you have me fill out paperwork or take a copy of my drivers license license which is required by the state of Virginia, but thats OK. Insult me all you want on here it doesnt bother me, Ill be going to a real professional tattoo shop where I got all my other tattoos and getting it redone and Ill be glad to post those pictures. Also, Ill be contacting the health department and the business bureau probably and for your information my tattoo been covered ever since I went back to tanning is not been exposed not one time my tattoos completely healed. but it still looks horrible.The last pic is after i got it fixed Thanks to Jersey shore line Tattoos and Jay my artist and he also fixed things that were missing and also fix some that were not right its exactly what i wanted. So there was no excuse for poor work or aay the things you said when in actual you just couldnt do the work

Got my tattoo done by Jay hands down Im impressed. It took him 1.5 hours and looks amazing the price was great. Ive been to a couple shops down in roanoke and they either dont listen to you, run the clock (to make you pay more) or dont even care how it turns out! Definitely will be back.

The most amazing tattoo experience I’ve honestly ever had. I’m still like wow, at how fast he got that much detail and completed this tattoo in not even 30 minutes. I contacted Justin through this site over a month ago. I wanted to set up a consultation. He text me back to let me know he was on vacation. I responded with a picture of what I was wanting (a full sleeve) and that I knew it would take at least 8 hours. He told me that he would contact me after he got back. Well he didn’t. I guess with all of the the tattoo artists in town he doesn’t need my business.

Tonight was my first time meeting Jay, he’s extremely clean, professional, great talent. Light handed, didn’t bleed nor didn’t it hurt excessively. I was there at, by 9:30 it was done. Great work. Absolute great talent!Husband and wife owned and operated. I took my daughter to get her first tattoo, and they were so helpful, professional, talented, friendly and encouraging. The husband is the artist and did such a phenomenal job that she got another one and I also got my first tattoo!His prices are very reasonable. He has a deal 6 hours for $250 (he said it has to be booked in advance, and Im not sure how often he runs that special).Very VERY happyAlso, we had driven over two hours to go to another tattoo place ( because from our city Rail Yard Ink had not come up on our search) and even though we had called twice to ask if we could come, they turned us away. When I called Rail Yard Ink, even though they were having a break, they made time for us.

Jay is an incredibly talented tattoo artist and all-around great guy. Hes got the skills to put awesome art down quickly and cleanly. Hes a proficient artist and whatever you want to get done he will make into a masterpiece. First tattoo newbie or 10th tattoo he will do a great job. I have gotten two tattoos so far from him out of six total and hes hands down the best at it for the fairest prices. Cannot recommend enough.

He made sure it was exactly what I wanted (BG rose), it turned out flawless.His staff also reflected his image. The environment was clean and inviting. ( DO NOT GET PIERCED HERE )I got my tongue pierced today 12- 14-18 and when dude was doing it he was rushing he did Not dry my tongue off he did not mark my tongue he just did it well any ways he end up makeing the bottom of the ring at the tip of my tongue And its not supposed to be like that. So they got my money so I ended up Haven to go to skin thrills to get them to get it out and had to pay for that to .. so then I called the girl whos I guess runs the place and she did not care and was not given my money back. She was just as rude. They might do good tattoos but no a PIERCING!

Just walked in and asked for a quote on a forearm piece. Great prices, he was open for it at that moment! Finished up in about an hour and it’s a big piece, shading and all. Extremely impressed with the work and I will be back.

My 78 year old mother had always wanted to get a tatoo. She had been waiting for years. I found Jay at Railyard INK. As soon as he heard what we wanted he immediately said that he could do it. He chose the perfect colors and gave her the tatoo that i had drawn. His lines were perfect and the tatoo looks exactly how we imagined. He is truly an artist. He has a calm demeanor and is very patient. I would definitely recommend him.

Went through hell to get a cover up, and rail yard Ink was my saving grace. Great customer service and a great job exactly what i wanted drawn and done same day freehanded. Would recommend this shop to anyone in the valley looking to get ink done.

RailYard Ink just isnt your average neon sign tattoo shop... Jay and Lacey are two amazing people that any everyday people can connect with. I had some bad ink done 20 yrs ago and it needed covered up. After 7 tattoo shops in the valley wouldnt attempt it, all 3 of us sat down, brainstormed and Im telling you- i dont think its nothing Jay cant do. Free handed, the boy is a beast! Talented artist.

I called to see if they did walk ins and they told me to be there around 8 o clock on a Saturday. By time I hop in the Lyft and get down they close the shop down and it says they’re opened until 10pm on Saturday. Pfft oh well onto the next.Edit: yeah I just take a Lyft down there to see a beautifully dark building then go on google and write a review for no apparent reason sheesh
