If you love color tattoos, look no further. Marbles is the best! The fade on her color tattoos is very minimal still looking fresh five years later. This is the first artist Ive wanted to consistently stick with. The shop is also amazing. Its so welcoming with beautiful artwork on the wall and free refreshments. Ive provided references for my most recent and told her to make it her own and she has no problem doing that and designing a beautiful piece.

I’ve been going to Darbi for a few years now, and she never disappoints! She’s done a thigh sleeve and various pieces here and there and they’re always so beautiful. The color is so bright and vibrant. Truly the tattoos look the same years later. I trust her wholeheartedly and will continue to come back for more!!! Love her and her work 🫶🏻❤️

Other than the vibes being immaculate, being here is always a treat. Every piece or idea I’ve brought to Darbi, she’s always blown me away with - I always recommend her when asked about any of my color tattoos!

The atmosphere in the studio space was wonderful. Maki greeted me at the door and brought me her bone and a squeaky toy while I was waiting. Darbi was welcoming and has created such an enjoyable space to be in - it feels cozy and almost like a cafe that you would love to hangout or read a book in, and you can immediately tell the care and love for art/anime that was put into how it’s been decorated - even the bathroom has Studio Ghibli film prints and Spirited Away soot sprites.I was tattooed by Kyle and could not have asked for a better experience. His style is fantastic and I am super happy with my latest tattoo with his own surrealist style added to my initial idea, not to mention talking about every nerdy passion under the sun. I don’t think I can say enough positive things about Fire Flower Tattoo.

I have had the absolute pleasure of being tattooed by Kyle Downs multiple times. Every tattoo I have from him has healed beautifully, looking as crisp even years later as they did the day I got them. He has an expertly light hand, it blows my mind that a tattoo doesn’t have to hurt so much! Also, he’s a really genuine person who is fun to talk to and nerd out about anime/video games with. Even though I live far away now, I’m definitely planning to go back to visit and get more work done by him. It’s hard to find an artist you trust 100%, but that’s Kyle for me.

I got my entire chest piece done with Kyle who just joined this shop. He is absolutely incredible, his stippled approach to black and grey doesnt hammer your skin and leaves you with an easy to heal and amazing tattoo, looks as if it was laser etched into my skin. I simply wont get black and grey done from anyone else, from his talent, to him being overall just an awesome guy, anyone should be more than excited to get on his books!

Darbi is a great artist and does excellent work. Ive been going to her for almost 2 years now since I moved back to Rochester. I was looking for a tattoo artist that specialized in anime and came across her profile. She does a great job with bringing the idea out of my head and translating that to a great drawing. All my tattoos from her have great line work and vibrant color. Her studio has a very calm and relaxing vibe and Studio Ghibli themed bathroom is a nice touch. Would definetly recommend her to anyone looking for a tattoo artist in the Rochester area.Im currently working on a One Piece sleeve with her. Will update when it is finished.

Ive gotten two tattoos from Darbi Marbles and theyre sticker perfect. The yellow from my January 2019 swallowtail tattoo is still packed in and I get compliments on it all the time. My poppies that I most recently got my mom said its so pretty and she has NEVER complimented a tattoo of mine. Her colorwork and designs are amazing. Ive found my artist!

Darbis work is awesome and she did a great job on my tattoo. Her studio is very clean, well-decorated, and is a very relaxing and nice environment. We watched anime and hung out with her puppy during my session. Highly recommend this place.

I have a few of from Darbi and all three of them still look wonderful. One of them is a tattoo for my son on my arm, a task I wouldn’t trust to just anyone.False one start reviews from unhinged ex’s can’t negate the fact that Darbi is a wonderful artist and an ever better person. Her portfolio speaks for itself and every single day she gets better and better at her craft. If you’re looking for an amazing, vibrant full color tattoo, you’ve found your artist.

I’ve had the pleasure of being tattooed by Kyle twice, and both times were very positive/the quality of the work was excellent. Kyle knows how to create a safe and comfortable space; we could (and have) just chit chat for hours, and suddenly I’d have an insane work of art on my skin. Can’t recommend enough, especially with anime and ESPECIALLY his surrealist original work.

Kyle has tattooed me 2 times for a total of 4 tattoos. His eye for angles, perspectives, and shading are second to none.I appreciate his detail and patience. I never felt rushed in our appointments.Looking forward to our next session for another round!

Ill preface this with my tattoo is gorgeous. There is no question about the quality of Darbis work. My one complaint about the actual are is that the line work isnt what I would want it to be but the colors are amazing.That said, my tattoo with her was the most painful Ive ever had in my life and I have 40+ hours of work on my body including a 7-hour piece on my thigh I did in one sitting. Ive been getting tattoos for over a decade. This is all to say that until I came here, I had never once tapped out of a tattoo session because of the pain. Darbi was my first, and so far, my only time ever tapping out from the pain.Anyone who asks me about her, I do warn them about the pain while also telling them they will absolutely get a beautiful, quality tattoo. But as far as Im concerned, I have plenty of options for beautiful, quality tattoos, that are nowhere near as painful. I do not ever plan on going back to her, nor do I ever plan on having her touch up my tattoo. Id sooner pay another artist to touch it up. Which is unfortunate because her work is gorgeous.

I had a tattoo done by Kyle a few years ago and had an awesome experience. It is actually my favorite tattoo experience ever. He was extremely respectful and kind, and the art turned out even better than I had imagined. I can’t wait to get another. I would 100% recommend going to him.

The most chill, creative space of a tattoo shop Ive ever stepped into! Adorable shop with an extensive selection of her custom merchandise, the cutest Miyazaki themed bathroom and Darbi is phenomenal! You can definitely tell shes been tattooing for over a decade. High quality space, high quality skill. Shes patient and willing to continue helping you until the stencil is perfect!!

This is one of the cleanest and most efficient shops in the business. Not only are the tattoo artists kind, compassionate and have a love for tattooing, but the marketing of this shop is on point. Stop by for some stickers, prints and merch if you don’t have the time to get tattoo’d. Kyle Downs is a golden god.

Darbi I feel isn’t a well rounded artist as she only can do kind of one style or two, she did my ex’s(her brother) tattoo and it was free mind you which I think is ridiculous. Ma’am you run a business not a charity organization. His tattoo was not well done as I had seen it. It’s the triforce from legend of Zelda. It was not colored in well the line work was not even remotely straight and the line work was even faded. I wouldn’t give her my business nor trust her judgment with a tattoo gun. Unless you like anime or bright colored “that new style” of tattoos, then go to her. However I want a professional and darbi doesn’t really act professionally from my experience and what I see.

I had an outstanding experience at Fire Flower Tattoo Studio. This was my first tattoo and I did a lot of research on artists and styles before making my appointment with Darbi. She made it very clear what I should expect for each step of the process, from booking right up to the day of the appointment, which I really appreciated. The studio is clean, bright, and quiet. She owns and operates the studio so there wasnt anyone else hanging around. The whole place is anime themed, and during the tattoo she put Samurai Champloo on TV. The whole atmosphere was very chill which is exactly what I needed for a first visit.Her work is incredible, clean bold lines and vivid colors. Everyone who has seen my tattoo has commented on how good it looks. She encourages you to take breaks if you have to stretch for a minute, and she has snacks and water in case you need them. She also has awesome care kits that have everything you need for the healing process, and very clear instructions on what to do for each day.I highly recommend Fire Flower and Darbi, and Ill definitely be back for my next tattoo.

Holy heck well worth the wait, I gave her a design of my own and she cleaned it up. And gave the advice on it I needed to hear. Before even tattooing they set a vibe to help relax with anime. With a super light hand she did my piece with minimum pain. Definitely would recommend.
