Gotten two tattoos done with Andy and this place is phenomenal will never go to anyone else great pricing and great service they truly make you feel comfortable when getting a tattoo as well as the great history this place has they have many years of experience and are true professionals

I’ve been going to Joel for the last 2.5 years and his work has always been incredible. Just got my biggest and most expensive piece done today and it’s got to be my favorite of the 8 I now have. I will never get tatted by anyone else. His work can’t be compared to. His freehand style on some of my tats are beyond beautiful. And he’s the nicest tattoo artist you can ever go to. Great sense of humor when you’re coping through the painful areas lol. Here’s 6 pictures of my forearm piece from today as well as all the other amazing work he’s done on me in the past!

Havent been back since Joe sold the place. But glad to see that Joe kept it in the family. The guys were cool, there was a good vibe, the work was collaborative and. well done. Cant really comment on pricing because Ive been out of that world for so long that I dont know whats good and whats bad.

Physical has been my place for years. I have gotten 7 tattoos from Joel. All the guys are very talented and I always have fun in the shop.

The absolute best Tattoo shop in town. Great bunch of guys and girls in there. Definitely all take pride in there work and it shows in there tattoo work. Highly recommend.

Update to my previous review- still 100% a 5 star ! As Ive grown into getting more tats and have tried other places... no where can compare to the quality and DETAIL that they have at physical graffiti. Huge shout out to Joel-hes been my main artist. Everyone there is super cool super down to earth and definitely going to give you a great piece. Thank u guys

Went in for my very first tattoo ever this past weekend. Ashley was amazing and put me right at ease explaining everything she was doing from beginning to end. I didnt get the girls name at the front desk but she was awesome and super friendly too. The shop is super clean and the atmosphere is awesome! I highly recommend them and I will he back for another one!!

Im so obsessed with this tattoo. By far my favorite one Ive gotten so far and this place is dope. I had Andy do mine and he is so talented but also just fun to talk to. He makes you feel so comfortable and makes sure its exactly what you want before he starts. Prices are also super fair! I cant say enough great things about this place. Will definitely be going back!

The young woman in the front was very friendly and helpful, very chipper! I walked in after bad experiences with 2 previous shops and wanted cover ups, not only did they accommodate me on the spot, but the whole atmosphere was friendly, the shop was very clean and everyone was professional. Pricing was good & Joel did an AMAZING job on my cover up. I will not be going to any other shops again!

Im 45 got my belly button piercing here when I was 18. A short while later received a beautiful tattoo from Tom. I believe it was his first tat at the shop (Bengal tiger). It came out beautifully and remains a beautiful piece of art that I am proud to show off! Thank you.

Had my first tattoo here today! Squintz did a fabulous job. He was kind, professional, and took my design to the next level; bringing it to life. The shop was clean, and comfortable. VERY happy! The quality reputation of Physical Graffiti did not disappoint!

I got my first (legal) tattoo for my birthday today and andy did an amazing job!!! Its on my chest and it hurt so badly but he did a good job with giving me breaks and even let me use a stress ball :D absolutely LOVE this place definitely coming back asap!!!!

Definitely where I go when I get the itch for new ink! Ive had alot of work done here over the years, at least one new tat in every shop theyve had since they opened to be specific. I would highly recommend going here for your next tattoo. Theyre clean, professional and just all around great people & a great shop!

Will go no where else for my piercings. I got my double cartilage from here as well as my rook. I also got my Tragus done here, which, I went to get it done a year before I knew about this place, and the other place I went to said I couldn’t get my Tragus pierced because it’s too small. I came to physical graffiti and they pierced it, perfectly, and it looks amazing. The artists are wonderful, and I can’t wait to turn 18 in 4 months and get some tattoos from here.

Went in for a small, simple black and white pineapple tattoo. What was drawn up for me (and tattooed on me) was completely different from what I wanted and was told that the one I wanted “looked like something out of a coloring book”. The lines are crooked and uneven in thickness, as the guy who tattooed me told me “how hard can it be to tattoo a pineapple?”, and it looks like some parts weren’t tattooed on my skin completely and looks faded. Tattoo was way too expensive for the size & quality. I’ll be going somewhere else to get it fixed.

I always seem to have an allergic reaction or sensitive to piercings prior to coming here. I’ve had 5 piercings done at Physical Grafitti with NO problems at all. Clean and professional. Definitely coming back!!

Ive been getting tattooed by Gooch since I was 18 and still with him 10 years later this mans work is impeccable I won’t go to another shop in Rochester. Always leave more then satisfied and always a great group of guys to talk to that work there.

This shop offers a variety of artists to customize the best piece for you! The owner, Gooch, has been in the tattoo scene in rochester for a long time and has curated talented artists to work alongside him. Reasonable pricing.

I got my rook pierced and in five days later had to go to the hospital and have it removed it was so infected and nonstop bleeding. When I told them they said after I leave it’s not their problem. I was never given care instructions to take care of it either. My friend got her forward helix pierced the same day and now she has to get it surgically removed by a plastic surgeon.

Andy is the best! Got my first tattoo there on 3/19 and I love it! A bunch of down to Earth guys.

I went for a rook piercing and it didnt end well. Either the piercing was poorly done or my body pushed it out, but 5 weeks later I had to take it out because it was barely hanging there. After the fact I realized that I had accidentally given the guy a crappy tip and I kept telling myself that the next time I was in the neighborhood I was going to stop in to give him more money, but since the piercing failed I never went back.

I got an amazing tattoo done by Squintz! The place was clean and I felt comfy and safe. My tattoo is beautiful and I would highly recommend ❤

Have been going here for tattoos for 17 years. Have work from three of their current artists and one who is no longer there. Nearly all of my tattoos in Rochester come from Andy or Gooch.

Honestly kinda mad, went in to get my ears pierced. Was told the price was $20 for the pair, but i guess it was 60 because i got hoops? but i was never told there was a price difference? not going back
