I’ve gone to get piercings 4 times in the past 2 years and every time is such a comfortable and welcoming experience.I have trouble with laying down to get pierced and they found a way to help me and offered support. The team is so helpful and Adam always seems to make every visit special.They do an expert job with their piercings. I’ll always suggest this place to anyone who wants a piercing or is planning on getting their first. Questions always have answers and they are so patient. Absolutely love this place

I took my two daughters in to get piercings. Brittany was the piercer and was kind, comforting, and just an over all nice person. This would be a 5 star review if we would have only dealt with Brittany. Adam on the other hand as soon as we walked in the door was acting like we were an inconvenience, yelling at Alexa to play different music while we tried to make small talk with him. While Brittany was doing my daughters piercings I was videotaping an Adam walked by making very snippy comments not only to us but to Brittany. Saying, theres another person video taping in your face when I was more than 5 ft away from the chair. I instantly stopped recording and said I didnt realize you couldnt record because its not on the waiver. Then I looked further theres no sign posted in the shop there is nothing posted on the website. What it boils down to is he was just being rude to be rude. A much different experience with him than the way hes depicted on the website as a safe, clean and welcoming environment

Rachel is amazing. So kind and puts heart into her work. First tattoo experience and I don’t know that I could go elsewhere now since the bar has been set so high!

My husband got his ears pierced by Adam. He is such a delightful person to work with. He was very welcoming and engaged our little 4 year old kid into conversation to make her a part of the experience. Excellent hygiene! Great high end jewelry collection. Despite Adams busy schedule, he was able to squeeze us in which we appreciate very much. I highly recommend this place and see Adam for an awesome experience and piercings 🥰

I got some pretty sensitive piercings from Adam, and despite how much the actual piercings themselves hurt, he did a fantastic job and did really well at making me feel super comfortable. They’re healing well so far, and when I had a question afterwards I got a pretty quick answer when I reached out. I’d definitely recommend him and would go back.

The initial piercing appointment was great and I was very happy with the service. When my piercing became infected and the stud no longer fit in my ear I reach out to sacred heart and the piercer directly to see if i could just come in and get a longer stud backing. I never received a response from the piercer and I had to go to a other piercing shop for help. Disappointed I never received any help from the piercer or shop considering how much I paid.

I was so happy to be able to get in there quickly. The girl that did my piercing was very nice, calm and informative. She did a really good job and I hardly even felt it. She pierced my daith. I would definitely recommend her.

I highly recommend getting any piercing or tattoo done here !!! Everyone is always so friendly and welcoming. I’ve been here two times and I always feel comfortable and they were always super duper extra clean when they did my piercings which I deeply appreciate ! I was super nervous for both of my piercings but the lady who did my piercing was encouraging and it really helped ❤️ thank you!

Got my ears pierced by Adam. Very professional & experienced. I went in after my appointment time (an hour) and he still pierced my ears. Great person.

Adam was great with our 14 year old daughter. She wanted to get her nose pierced. We asked around and he came highly recommended from many people. I have to agree he’s fantastic! Everything was extremely clean and well done.

This place is beautiful from the decor to the people. Adam made my experience amazing, answering any questions that I had, gave me follow up instructions as well. Such a super nice place! I highly recommend. I got a septum piercing and I can’t be more happier. Update 3/4/5. Just another awesome update on this place & the wonderful staff. I came in looking for new ink and Joe took care of me. I am very pleased with my tattoo , just want to say this place is amazing, professional and friendly. I never leave here disappointed

KEEP YOUR KIDS AWAY from this piercer.Adam was so rude and hostile that I had to walk out of Sacred Heart without getting anything done. My daughter and I had appointments for piercings and were 5 minutes late. We live almost 45 minutes away from Rochester and I did not account for the terrible traffic at that hour. That was my fault. I rushed in feeling horrible and flustered and I was ready to apologize. I never got to do that because Adam started talking down to us as soon as we stepped in the door. He was rude but I initially ignored his attitude considering we were late and he had a right to be irritated. I tried to explain why we were late but he didn’t care. The shop was pretty empty and I did not see any other customers there. I informed Adam we had 2 appointments booked that day but they were scheduled 2 hours apart. I asked if he could possibly do both piercings at the same time (just in case he wasn’t booked or had cancellations). I wanted to let my husband know (who was waiting in the car) if he should stay and continue to wait for us or if he had enough time to leave to run his errand. Adam kept snarking at me that we were 5 minutes late over and over again. Basically throwing it in our faces. Then he became angrier and even more hostile when I asked about the appointment times. I understand places are busy and I figured they wouldn’t be able to fit us in at the same time. He never answered the question because he was too busy being verbally aggressive.While he was ranting I realized I didn’t have the right documentation for my daughter, which was my fault. Nothing was going right. Had things been different (normal) I would have rushed home after my piercing to get my daughter’s birth certificate and been back in time for her appointment. But we never got to that point because after several minutes of him being belligerent to us I didn’t feel we could stay even for my appointment alone. He behaved so unprofessionally and rude that it wasn’t worth it. Especially to be so confrontational to/in front of a kid and literally scare her was out of line. At this point I had enough and told him we were leaving and was canceling both appointments. He then escalated to screaming at us and told me we couldn’t cancel because we were already there. He was so aggressive that my daughter ran back to the car before he was even done checking us in. I ended up screaming back at him because I was pissed and done taking his abuse by this point. 5 minutes did not warrant all of that. That extreme reaction is a big RED FLAG. We left and will never go back.Honestly, I suggest people find someone else to do your piercings in Rochester. Any person that has no problem screaming at a customer and a kid should not be trusted with children. I’m sure there are other piercers in the area that treat people with decency and respect. People make mistakes but people should still be treated like human beings.

My family (there were 12 of us) visited Sacred Heart to have tattoos done in remembrance of our Grandmother. We had an absolute blast! Matt and Jason ( I believe Luke helped out the next day too) were great and also very helpful. They truly made this experience everything that we were hoping for! Everyones final tattoos truly surpassed our expectations! I would recommend this Tattoo Studio in a heartbeat and would definately go back for more art.

Had a 3 hour tatt done today. Thane is incredible! Love the design he came up with, and it turned out AMAZING!!! Will be going back to him for my next one.

My daughter wanted her ears pierced when she turned 10 so, listening to my sons advice, I brought her to Adam. He did a GREAT JOB!!! My daughter has a history of passing out when she sees needles, so i was a little nervous. Adam talked her through the process and was sensitive to her needs. Her ears look beautiful and healed great! I couldnt be happier!!

Adam put my friend at ease & was very friendly. She said it barely hurt- just a pinch & significantly less than the piercings she had done with a gun. Adam did an excellent job and they are healing nicely. We will be back.

Huge THANK YOU to Sacred Heart!!! We had a birthday party today for one of my friends and we were all able to get exactly what we wanted for tattoos. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. Jim Hores worked all day getting us all inked. Its not easy to please 6 people at the same time but he managed to do just that! Jim Thank You for all the hard work you put into today!

I took my 16 year old to get her nose pierced for her birthday, as a momma bear I wanted my cub to get high quality care and we did. Adam is a clean, sanitary, informative, knowledgeable professional. I was very impressed.

Profesionnal tatoo shop, with very good artists, very busy but I worked with my artist over months to design exactly what I wanted , we modified the sketch a lot of time until it was perfect, the tattoo was done as expected in time. Hygiene is perfect , overall I highly recommend the shop ,very serious.But be patient and you will get eventually what you asked for ;)

Asked Matt for a tornado tattoo and told him to design it himself instead of an ordinary picture. Wasnt expecting anything special, but Matt took EXACTLY everything I asked for and added to it. I was overwhelmed with how it turned out, and it even had better designs than I was looking for. Started with a thunderstorm cloud with lightning all the way up to adding a tornado into the cloud itself. Couldnt have been more happy with it. Shop was clean and well disinfected. Matt had a clean-up and set-up routine that left noting out. Picture isnt the greatest because Im lazy and didnt want to go all the way to the big mirror UPSTAIRS LOL. Thank you Matt, have some new ideas for when I come back to MN from FL next year, hopefully all the Covid BS is gone by then.

A shout out to Josh Brown who did my first ever tattoo yesterday! We worked together on the design and he was very accommodating. Fun conversation throughout the process and when it was done it looked freaking awesome! For me, getting a tattoo was a big decision - glad I went here. Thanks Josh!

I’ve seen many tattoo/piercing artists, they are usually nice, but Adam goes above and beyond. I took my 8 yr old in for her double piercing and my 14 yr old for nose and helix. Adam made them feel at ease. They barely felt any pain. The shop is clean. Great place.

Adam pierced my 6 year old’s ears yesterday. I can’t believe how amazing it went! He made her feel so comfortable and joked around with her. The piercing went phenomenal- she didn’t even blink and told me “he did amazing!”So thrilled with our experience!

Got my new tattoo done today by Rachel! She is absolutely amazing! She touched up an older tattoo too. Now both look great and I couldnt be happier! Highly recommend Rachel. I highly recommend the whole shop. The vibes were great! I will definitely be returning for all my work!

I just got my 4th tattoo done with Joe Pagoria at Sacred Heart Studios. He an amazingly talented artist but above all a great person! He made the whole experience great. Was quick to respond to messages and able to work me in quickly. Will 100% be going back to him for more work. If you are not getting your tattoo done with Joe or at Sacred Heart you are doing it wrong!

I got my nose piercing done here by Adam and it was a breeze. I felt very comfortable and it was a relaxed environment, my sister was with me but if I came by myself I would still feel comfortable. Explain everything to me, and I didn’t really have any questions.Definitely will be my go-to place for any other piercings! It’s been three months since I got mine and everything was healed up perfectly!

Adam pierced my snakebites and my septum.i got each one during my 13th and 14th birthday. they both turned out great. He is a very chill guy, very quick and makes the piercings pretty painless. Honestly super great place.

Had a great experience with Josh Brown. Ended up free-handing most of the design and it came out even better than I envisioned. He has crazy talent and I highly recommend booking with him.

I went in to buy jewelry and ended up having to wait an hour and a half just for a piercer to give me the jewelry which still turned out not to be what I needed. I explained that I needed a longer bar since the area that was pierced was swollen, now I’ve wasted my money and time.

I absolutely love this shop. I’m personally dedicated to one artist here, her work is absolutely perfect. The shops vibes are welcoming, there’s cool music playing all the time and the inside is just so beautiful. There’s art work everywhere you look, little trinkets in every corner! Best thing is; I am never shamed or made to feel bad about my reactions to getting tattooed. I have a super low pain tolerance bc of health issues but no one has ever made me feel like I was being too much. Also never felt bad for needing a break when the pain was getting to me, I %100 RECOMMEND THIS SHOP!

Wanna give a huge shout out to Josh Brown. He tattooed my best friend and I and I much say he has such a soft hand. His line work was perfect!! He also fixed up an old tattoo for me and made it look the way it was supposed to. Thank you so very much and I cant wait to get another from you!!!

Went to get my daughters septum pierced. The place was very clean and had a great vibe. Adam did a excellent job at doing the piercing. My daughter was very nervous but he explained everything he was going to do and I think that made her much less nervous. But, he did it quick, but perfect job and my daughter said she barely felt anything. Definitely recommend going here for any piercing.

I got an eyebrow piercing with Adam. He was very friendly and professional and did a great job. He even matched my piercing with my hair color (pink)! He also helped me out with getting another bar put in after mine fell out in the shower. The piercing is healing great - no issues there! Overall great experience - Ill be coming back again!

This was my first time at Sacred Heart and was by far the best tattoo experience I have had yet! Matt had several ideas ready when I got there, and I am so happy with what he designed for me. As soon as I met Matt, I immediately relaxed. He is very professional. Everyone in the studio were extremely welcoming and friendly and the studio is very clean and nice. Im definitely ready to go back for another tattoo!

I have really enjoyed my experience with Sacred Heart Studios! My tattoo artist was Mike and he is an awesome guy. Very relaxing and entertaining for sure while you are being stabbed with needles. The whole staff have been great though as well, very inviting and engage the customers well, even if not tattooing them. I would recommend them because they are talented, respectful, and awesome.

I just got my lobes pierced here. Id never had piercings before and was a bit nervous but Adam did a wonderful job and also gave plenty of helpful advice on aftercare. Overall a nice and easy experience. Ill certainly think of this place if I ever want more piercings.

Update: I was very pleased that one of the tattoo artists reached out to me and apologized for the poor interaction in order to resolve the situation with their front desk staff. I continuously look at the work of these artists and it’s incredible! The environment seems very open, welcoming, and clean.Disappointed by the front desk staff. Wish I could say my first impression was amazing because I am overwhelmed at the incredible work these tattoo artist share on their website and instagram pages. However, walked in to schedule a tattoo consultation (not a walk-in consultations....literally to schedule a consultation appointment) and I was greeted with a very rude front desk worker. Bad attitude by her and no customer service skills. Asked about multiple artists and their schedules and she was super unhelpful. Decided to walk out and hope to have a better experience next time. Bad first impression. Super bummed. The work these artists share is way better than this front desk worker’s attitude. Hope she can learn some better customer service so she doesn’t ultimately drive away customers.

What a great experience! I was really nervous going in for my first tattoo, but everybody was friendly and helpful. I worked with Nick Sinclair who was kind, personable, professional, and talented. He was excited about my design and patient with my pickiness about details (No problem; it *is* kind of permanent, he said). He thoroughly explained the process and aftercare and set me at ease. Im thrilled to have the ink and if (when) I get another, Ill definitely be back. 6/5!

My artist James was awesome! He knew this was my first tattoo, so he made sure I was comfortable and let me know I could stop or take a break at any time. He was fun to chat with during my session and made me feel at ease. He also made sure that I knew about the aftercare, was happy to answer any questions, and said I could call him or send pics if something about the aftercare worried me. I would definitely recommend him to anyone getting their first tattoo, especially if they are apprehensive.In addition, the studio itself is very nice. Its clean and well lit. You definitely feel comfortable walking in and asking questions, unlike some of the other places in town. If I decide to have any future work, it will be here.Edit: 4/18/18 - Just back from getting another beautiful, new tattoo. Still 5/5 stars and all of my previous comments still stand. Additionally, my tattoo from last year still looks fantastic!

My granddaughter got her ears pierced today. Adam is amazing. he took the time to explain to her all the things she needed to do to take care of her ears he was really patient and made sure she wasnt scared. I recommend anyone with a youngster going to get their ears pierced they take them to Adam at sacred heart.

I am SO glad I went to Sacred Heart to get my industrial piercing done! The whole process was very quick and much less stressful than I had anticipated. Adam did such a great job and I will without a doubt go back to him if I ever want to get another piercing done. All of the other people working there were very professional and so nice as well. I also appreciated actually being able to schedule an appointment to get my piercing done - most of the places I looked at before deciding on Sacred Heart were walk-ins only.

Wonderful place all around. Very laid back people. They let you watch tv while getting tatted too. All workers are extremely talented. Adam does an amazing job at piercings while also making sure you are feeling alright. The tattooers are extremely talented in every aspect what so ever. I highly recommend any of the guys at this place. I don’t know why they aren’t 5/5 stars to be honest.

Got my first piercing, naval (belly) here with Adam. Hes super respectful, and hes very comforting. Its a very clean, and organized shop, and Adam does an amazing job! My piercing is healing great and Isnt giving issues other than the regular soreness. Im definitely coming here for my first tattoo, everyone was super kind! Addicted to my artist is an understatement. James has been my tattoo artist since 2017 when he found room to get me in for a memorial tattoo on my golden birthday when he was already completely booked. I had never been tattooed by him at that time and he still went out of his way for me, which he has continued to do for the past four years. Since 2017, he has given me a half sleeve, a cover up, and two “on a whim” fun tattoos. His art is INSANE and I have gotten more compliments than I can count on the designs he’s created for me. James is kind, respectful, and understanding when it comes to “pain points” on people getting their first tattoos. I’d honestly rather go here than the dentist. His art is impeccable, humor is next level and his personality is just an added bonus. Can’t recommend enough!!

Went here for a flash tattoo special and they were incredible! Extremely clean, quick work (even though they stayed open extra hours to fit more people in) and it looks great! Was my first tattoo and I felt super safe and taken care of the whole time. Thanks, Rachel!

Absolutely a wonderful experience. I got both of my tattoos there. The tattoo artists really put you at ease and make you feel beyond comfortable. They did a stellar job on both my tattoos when it came to customization/personalization and just the extra added details. Nothing but a great experience, they make me want to get a million more tattoos with them!

Adam did a double nose piercing for me. Can’t recommend him highly enough. Very clean, sterile technique, great placement and awesome conversation!

Adam was an excellent piercer. Brought my daughter in to get her earlobes done and he walked her through everything he was doing. Very little pain, and she said they are great 2 days later. Would recommend a professional piercer vs a mall shop every time.

James is a fantastic artist and really took my ideas and turned them into a beautiful tattoo. The shop is super clean and inviting and the guys were all super professional. I booked in advance at the FosterArend event where Sacred Heart had a booth in support of raising awareness and funds for the Dorothy Day Shelter. This was my first and only tattoo I was going to get and it had great sentimental value. I had no idea or expectations of the amazing experience I was going to have! From the most pleasant young lady, Martie, that kindly greeted and helped me to the talented, patient owner, Matt, that did an outstanding job on my tattoo. These guys are genuine, kind and extremely talented! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I got 4 piercings done on one ear in one day. Adam was my piercer. I had gotten the same piercings done before at a different studio which got infected. Adam reassured me that his method is full-proof if you follow all of the after care.My piercings are now completely healed with no issues.The piercings themselves are beautifully placed and they have excellent jewelry. The shop is not scary or sketchy its better than all the shops Ive been in.Adam made me feel relaxed and I had a wonderful experience. For as long as I live in the area and Matt owns this shop, I will be a customer. From the great communication to the excellent atmosphere, I recommend this art studio for everyone! I had a great experience here with Matt. I came in with work that I had done several years ago and was unhappy with. I spoke with Matt, we sat down and went over my likes and dislikes, I gave him some reference art and a few days later he had a rough draft drawn for a cover up. I just recently sat for my last sitting and the work is amazing. You can tell when someone had passion behind their work, and this studio does. On top of the excellent work that the studio puts out, it is a great place to go look for new artwork! When I go in to get more work done, the pictures and art around the store is always changing. It is nice to know that there is a local place, selling local art, with great customer service. I have been, and will continue to send my friends, family, and coworkers here for all their art and tattoo needs.

Very professional staff and very nice professional looking studio. Greeted me upon arrival. We did a walk in and had Adam pierce my 6 year olds ears. Couldnt have asked for a better experience, she felt like the most important birthday girl ever! It was expensive, but you get what you pay for. The artist and his practice was sanitary and he explained things in a way she could understand. This was a great experience for everyone involved. Thanks again guys!

Exceptional artists great atmosphere. You wont be disappointed with any of these artists. I had Jim do a full sleeve he designed and its amazing. I had Luke do a couple tattoos also as an Apprentice and he just a natural. From the moment you walk in you are treated like family from all of them. A+++ guys I wont go anywhere else.

I got my first tattoo by Jim.he did a fantastic job at drawing up what i wanted. He was very easy to work with. Jim was very clean ,friendly and he was very caring about my needs. Sacred Heart Studios has amazing artists who are professional, very talented and love what they do. I had a cover up done on my shoulder blade by Matt Holt and he took the time to talk with me about what ideas i wanted and then draw up a tattoo. The shop is very clean and has a nice atmosphere. I can honestly say that i have an incredible piece of ART on my body thanks to Matt.

Adam Holt performed my lobe re-piercings today. Booking was super easy and quick, the jewelry used is cute, the studio was clean and welcoming, & the service provided was phenomenal.Tis a shame 5 stars is the limit for reviews^.~

Absolutely love this place! My brother and I each have 2 tattoos from here and we both had amazing experiences! I highly recommend James or Josh! Very chill, very clean and an amazing atmosphere to be in. Would rate 6/5 but I can’t do that so 5/5 is good enough 😊

I had a rook peircing just before Christmas with Adam. He made me feel comfortable and let me chatter to keep my mind busy while he was prepping. Everything thing was welcoming and clean. Adam explained everything really well and all is healing! Lots of compliments on the piercing!

We chose to get my daughters ears pierced at a tattoo shop because it is safer and more sterile. Sacred Heart did a great job. They were great with kids, friendly, welcoming and CLEAN. It was a great experience for my daughter.

Could not be happier and appreciate the entire process that Sacred Heart pours into creating a tattoo.Prior to going to Sacred Heart I checked out all portfolios in town. Even ate a deposit at a different shop after I found Sacred Heart.Matt and his team are professional artists that are truly passionate about their craft. They are perfectionists, in my opinion, not only help you create the piece of your choice, but support you through the entire process. Over hearing them talk with other customers they are patient, kind and take the time to make sure you are ready and comfortable with your tattoo. The shop had a chill vibe, was clean and safe.After presenting my idea to Matt, he then created a water color rendition. Once we agreed on placement and composition—Matt got to work.Again, could NOT be happier. Highly stress that Matt and his team are the real deal. From start to finish our experience at sacred heart was fantastic. We got our tattoos from mike and not only did they turn out great, but it was a great time getting them. He answered all of the questions and concerns we had, and we’re more than happy with our decision to go to sacred heart!

Great experience. Guys here are very friendly and accommodating. But can also hold a conversation. As far as the work, I am very pleased with my new tattoos and it came out exactly as I imagined it, which is not always easy to do. I would definitely recommend these guys and can guarantee my next tat will be done here.

Went here a couple weeks ago for my conch piercing and Adam did an amazing job!! Super quick & painless compared to piercings I’ve got at other places. Will definitely be coming back for more piercings in the future!!

I only got one tattoo done and it was my first, so without sounding bias this is what i can say about sacred heart studio. They will treat you like any good family would. If you’re nervous they will do everything they can to make you feel more comfortable with your new ink. They’ll talk about your interests as they work and the work they do is very detailed better than what id hoped for. James Dahnhert did especially well paying attention to detail and his work is top notch. I would recommend sacred heart for anyone getting their first or fiftieth tattoo and will definitely be going back there again.

I had a great time getting my tattoo at Sacred Heart Studios! My artist was Jim. Very professional, creative, and down-to-earth cool guy. I had a half sleeve and chest done. The imagery has personal meaning and was something Id wanted for a long time. And Jim nailed it! Exactly what I wanted! He makes sure everyone is on the same page before starting and takes time to design with detail. If I could select 10 stars in the review i would, no joke. If you want a tattoo done right check these guys out. Sit back, relax, and watch true artists at work!

Went in for a few quick piercings. Not only did we go in with a 3 year old and 7 year old with us, who were having a hard a time staying still, I almost passed out after having my industrial piercing, they handled it so incredibly well! They also had an immense amount of patience with the kids and helped entertain them. Highly recommend!

I got my first tattoo here. Jason was the artist, and he did an amazing job. The tattoo came out perfectly, he is a very experienced artist, and i paid exactly what i was quoted. Overall a great shop with many great artists, I plan on going back for my next tattoo. Would recommend to anyone looking for a tattoo in the Rochester area.

Adam was great with piercing the ears of my daughter and her two friends (3 girls ages 6 and 7). He explained everything clearly and thoroughly in a way they could understand. He let them sit together, hold hands, watch the process, and encourage each other, and all 3 of them made it through easily with smiles and two beautifully pierced ears. It was smooth and nearly-pain-free. Dont forget to bring your kids birth certificate and your ID.

I had my helix pierced by Adam. He was very knowledgeable about everything and made sure I was ok. At first I was a little hesitant about going there but after seeing the shop and meeting the people I felt very safe and in good hands. I would even consider getting a tattoo there now.

Very nice and they always go above and beyond what I expect for each tattoo. Everything is so clean. They really work hard on every design and try to make a comfortable environment for their customs. I love geeking out with them and goofing around.

I got a piercing done here by adam and it was a very pleasant experience. He made me feel comfortable throughout the whole experience and i’m usually very afraid of needle but i didn’t have a problem with the piercing at all.

Ive gotten two piercings here. Adam is great! Very friendly and personable. Hes also willing to work with you and problem solve any issues that come up with his piercings.

All the artists that work there are the most courteous, and understanding people I have met since getting tattoos. The customer is priority #1 every time. They work with your ideas and bidget instead of looking out for their own pockets. Some of the money brought in, goes towards a good cause as well, which is unheard of. They also are bringing back the art scene this city has been needing for a long time as well. Best studio I know!

Excellent business. Matt, Jim, and Mike are all excellent artists with unique styles that really make each tattoo one-of-a-kind. They also have very reasonable rates and will negotiate the final price so that clients get exactly what they want. The location is convenient as well, being only about a block away from the center street parking ramp. The parlor itself is unique in that it doubles as an art gallery with pieces from local artists in addition to the Sacred Heart team. The business is also very involved with the Rochester community, being supportive of local art events both in the physical arts and the music scene as well. These guys have the best parlor in Rochester, if not all of Southern Minnesota

I stopped by to see if I could schedule a consult with one of their talented artists. But was rudely diverted by a red-headed female worker. Her snarky demeanor was an instant turn off. I am an artist myself and i had wanted to have someone with outstanding talent take my art and make it into a permanent tattoo. I was unaware you only do your own original art and would redo my art to your liking. Thank you for the two minutes of time it took to educate me and also help me decide I will go elsewhere for my other tattoos. I had seen some very talented artists there, but the customer service left me feeling like Ill pass. Sad, really sad. Plus there were three others, perhaps artists, sitting around a table reading magazines with no care. I guess it is what it is.

I have a lot of respect for what the crew is doing at Sacred Heart. They create an awesome atmosphere because you can tell they are doing what they love to do, and they are doing it exceptionally well! They are a big part of the community and do everything they can to support the local art scene. This place is top of my list because it is not just about slapping a tattoo on someone, but creating a piece of art that the tattoo artist and the customer can be proud of equally!

The shop is comfortable, clean and accommodating. These guys are great artists with an appreciation for art within the community. I enjoy stopping in to the shop to see current art work on the walls just as much as sitting in the chair for some new ink. Ive had work done by both Jim Hores and owner, Matt Holt. The shop is very clean and professional. The piercer Adam knows what hes doing, educated, careful, ... everything youd want from a piercer. Its a perfect place for your kids to get their ears pierced for the first time. Its done right. I took off one star because of my experience. I had my nose repierced after it closed up in a few weeks so needed help reopening it. The same hole was used and didnt take much at all to reopen. The jewelry used was great but was extremely too big for my nose and would hang out of my nostril. The hole healed nicely BUT healed in a few days vs a few weeks. The experience was fine but I didnt quite understand why it costed me $80 with tip. In my opinion, it didnt need to cost that much. Using some common sense and generosity would mean repeat customers and referrals.

Would recommend coming here to anyone! got my first tattoo done here & it was a pretty big one! came in one day and told a guy what i wanted, gave him my number, texted back and forth references of what i wanted so he could sketch it up when i came back. and we set up a time to do it, came back in a few days and started my tattoo! Jason did my tattoo, turned out amazing, even set up a time to touch it up once it healed, no cost. He did my tattoo exactly how I wanted and paid attention to detail. reasonable cost compared to automony, with just as great as work. place is neat & clean. all the workers there are super chill & love what they do. wouldnt think of anywhere else to get another tattoo!

Josh Brown did a portrait of my son on my 4arm so detailed it looks like a photograph. Great work from a great guy. I would recommend him to anyone who want a portrait tat.

Ive been to Sacred Heart Studios 2x now and both times Ive had a great experience. I met the team at Thursdays on 1st and was impressed with both their artwork and how personable they all are. Jim Hores is my go to guy, but the dynamic Ive seen between all of the artists is laid-back, like youre hanging out with friends. Id recommend Jim, or Sacred Heart to anyone looking for fresh ink!

I was super anxious when i impulsively went in to pierce my cartilage but the guy who did it had comforting, like, laid back energy so it was a really good experience. I was in and out in 10 minutes and my cartilage piercing is healing nicely. 💜❤💜

Amazing! Little sketchy place but great service. The artists know exactly what they are doing and how to make you comfortable. I got my belly button peirced there a year ago and it healed perfectly. It was extremely well priced and I would go back for any more peircings in the blink of an eye!!

Super unprofessional.I paid money for a sketch of artwork that we discussed after a seemingly pleasant first meeting.I came back the next weekend to see his sketch and start the piece but he had forgotten to do the sketch, wasnt ready, and barely seemed to remember me. I asked him to email me a version of the sketch when he had worked on it, hopefully before the next weekend. He never emailed me back. I tried to go to the shop on multiple occasions but it was closed despite being between the hours it listed as being open.I never got my artwork done there or my money back.I got the piece done elsewhere with a more reliable artist.

So, the first time I went there it was great. Second time I had my nose ring fall out. They put on a new one for me. They tightened my noise ring so tight where my noise is starting to hurt. I am trying my best to take it out and it won’t come out.

Walked in to look at some art work and was greeted by one of the guys there. I said I was just there to see some art work and asked if they had portfolios of their work. He told me in a rude way that it was customer shop and everything was online. Never made eye contact with me and had a rude tone the whole time. I immediately turned around and walked right out.

Extremely unprofessional piercer asking people to expose their piercing issue in public. Very combative and hostile. Will never return. Manager if you care about your business respond to this grievance on how you plan to correct this matter. Will never return and never recommend this parlor. Worst costumer service!!! This place gets a zero in my book.

I was going to come in for a tattoo today, their hours clearly say they open at noon. I call at noon, no answer, call 15 min later no answer. So I go to the shop at 12:30 and the doors are locked. You have hours for a reason, but never mind!
