The owner Russ does amazing work, I have had 2 sessions with him. He’s confident, takes his time and makes sure you’re getting what you want. I highly recommend him. I am sure the other artists there do great work as well. Russ is in the process of fixing all the hack job tattoos I have had in the past and they all look 10x better now that he has fixed them. Had my second tattoo(s) done 29 Aug 2024, Kate was my artist this time as Russ did my first one. She is now known to me as Kate The Great. She did a military style tattoo for me as a reflection on my past military service. She was very kind and open to any concerns or needs I presented. She took my project kind of last minute and pulled it off 100%.She took my pictures and references and used her iPad to show how it would look on my arm and we decided on size and did the stencil. She nailed it! I Am very happy with my tattoos from her. highly recommend her. I dont think you could get a bad tattoo from her or Russ (the owner) they really care about the end product and are not transactional they truly care about the work they put out.Jim ChristofaroRochester NH

Russ has been amazing! I started a sleeve a few years back (money made it a slower process) Russ has made it look amazing even with completing it piece by piece! He has been nothing but professional and has even worked his schedule around to accommodate my ever changing work schedule.His artwork is amazing and I love being able to show it off, especially the free hand octopus he did!

Got my first tattoo done by Russ. Five hour long session and it was a blast! Asked me many times how I was doing and if I needed any breaks. Showed that he cared about my opinions and how I was feeling during the tattoo. Even reached out later and asked how I was healing up and if I loved it. Great experience and highly recommend!

The owner Russ is a decent artist but only if he cares about what he’s drawing. He most of the time draws it up last minute and seems to put 0 effort into actually making the tattoo look nice if his mood is off.If you plan on spending a fair amount I’d pick a better place. It’s not worth risking permanent trash work on your body because someone isn’t interested or moody.You’ve been warnedEdit: to reply to your comment below, it was just a very negative experience and you put minimal if 0 effort into it, and especially one of the sessions you were very visibly in a bad mood and that days session looked like absolute garbage. I didn’t write this to randomly lie, this is 100% honest review, maybe I can save at least 1 person the stress I had to go through getting a tattoo from you 🤷

Amazing place with amazing artists, love my new tattoo so much!! I had an old, awful black ankle band that was badly scarred and came in to see about getting it covered. Amber is the best, she has an incredible eye for color blending, her lines are perfect and she is great at listening to exactly what you want! Highly recommend!

Great experience with Russ! He did a cover up for me on my back, and came up with a great design and was nothing but awesome during my session, by the way thanks for the switch of music to Sturgill Russ! Lol!!. His work was top notch and his shop was great!

If you want a tattoo, this is the place to go! I recently had gone to a different tattoo shop only to be disappointed with the results. I met with Kait, who will be able to repair and complete my disappointed tattoo results. She has started a different tattoo, which is coming out fantastic.

I got my tattoo made here. I did research before I want here and everything looked good. BUT now I have a horrible tattoo on my leg that doesnt look like anything, I have been in contact with the shop, and got promised a refund, but after over a month of waiting for my money they told me that they wont refund, they offered me a cover o retouch.

Had a tattoo done by Russ today and he killed it, super nice and personable dude. The shop is really clean with a great vibe as well

Chris was wonderful, he was so patient and kind. It was my first tattoo and it had a lot of meaning for me, he spent time with the design and made sure it was a perfect fit. I’m very very pleased and would highly recommend Three Rivers Tattoos in Rochester, you won’t be disappointed!!!!!

Russ is amazing! He has a great humor and is very patient and kind. This was my second session with him, first at this location. It was perfectly lit. Had a great amount of space and atmosphere. I am excited to have my tattoo finished and find myself figuring out my next one!I would absolutely recommend this place as well as the Tattoo artists here.I also hear they maybe doing some drawing classes in the future! 😉

I’ve been wanting some new ink for a while but my tattoo artist has been booked for ever. It takes a lot for me to go to someone else. I leaned some history on Chris and looked at some of his work, such a great dude awesome attitude made me feel like I was doing great even tho I wasn’t. Even got me in that same day for the work. Chris great job will definitely have to return in the future

Awesome experience at this shop. Great people and atmosphere! Chris did an excellent job on my raccoon tattoo and I will absolutely be going back for another again.Russell is an excellent realism tattoo artist as well and did an amazing job on my Ares tattoo. I can not recommend this shop enough.

Russ is such a talented artist! He has done most of my fiancés tattoos and did my quarter sleeve. Very polite and professional. Highly recommended! We won’t go anywhere else for our tattoos!

Chris at Three River Tattoo Collective has provided me with one of the best tattoo experience I have had. He was professional and communicated everything throughout the process. He took my idea that I had in my head and created it exactly. I will be going back for future tattoos.

I cannot express the amount of professionalism I have seen from Russ . He has done both my legs and I get compliments almost every day and I have tattoos all over . His tattoos stand out because the lines are crisp and color is saturated!!
