Rudy Rooster was incredibly patient with me. This was my first tattoo, and he walked me through every step. He was very pleasant to talk to, kept the conversation light and distracting from the initial pain to the point I didnt even feel the tattoo gun. Im very impressed by not only him, but the entire staff--never once felt like a fish out of water, never felt looked down on for being a newbie--just really liked the artists and their personalities. If I choose to have another tattoo done, 100% I will be going back there. It felt safe, fun, and was educational. I literally felt NO pressure to settle or go big. Instead, Rudy gave me gentle yet realistic expectations and I felt fortunate to have an experienced artist letting me know what would look good and what would.10/10 (more if I could)

Cody did a fantastic job! I can not give enough praise. I lost these two beautiful pups within 2 months of each other and wanted to memorialize them. Its been 30 years since I got a tattoo. He did an amazing job of capturing them. The atmosphere was super casual, everyone was extremely friendly, and the cleanliness was top notch. I highly recommend them and Cody to any who wants a top notch tattoo.

My first tattoo and Johnny did a remarkable job, not just on the amazing tattoo, but also walking me through the whole process, from initial design, placement and changes/updates I wanted to make. This is a great place with badass artists who are masters of their craft, and I will definitely be going back to Johnny Mudbug for all of my future ink.

Super fun stuff done by Johnny at Good Times Tattoo. These pics are about a week out so excuse the crust on the tattoos but my little ghost bunny and alarm clock were fairly priced, quickly done, and have been healing up very nicely. Johnny was super chill and did a great job. Overall fantastic experience and I highly recommend this shop for any of your tattoo needs.

Aaron was professional, honest, and genuinely interested in providing quality work I was happy with. He works diligently and quickly! This was my second tattoo and I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. Had Wheatley to do a cover up with some detailed line work. This piece is a beautiful celtic arm band design with a cross. I absolutely LOVE her work! Also she was very personable and friendly. Stayed within my budget and really put her heart into it. Totally recommend this place and Wheatley for anyone looking for beautiful tattoos!

I have been getting tattooed by Johnny (owner and tattoo artist) for over 9 years. The attention to detail and care that he puts into his work is top notch! I have several tattoos by him and one of them was a tribute to my grandmother on my hand the colors have all heald up great over the years. This shop is amazing, the location is perfect, and talk about the cleanliness! If I hadnt moved so far away Id be there more often! If you are in the Austin or Roundrock area do yourself a favor and get tattooed!

This place is awesome they were super inviting. They got our pieces done super fast and very reasonable in pricing. We had a really bad experience just a 1/2 an hour prior to going here. Wheatley and Corey got us in and out. The vibe and atmosphere was awesome.

Ive gotten two tattoos from Aaron Dixon and plan to get a lot more! He is helpful, friendly, and has been tattooing for over 20 years. Ask to see his book of fine line tattoos, they are absolutely gorgeous. The shop is safe and clean and all of the artists are really nice guys. There is a reason this shop keeps winning the Best of Round Rock award!

I followed Aaron here from a different shop. First artist I’ve gotten 2 tattoos from. His line work is amazing, very cool guy great conversation when I wasn’t wincing at the pain in certain areas, even tho I have many tattoos. But his work is beautifully done. Quality ink...my Tats stay the color they should be. Can’t wait to have my other tattoos touched up by Aaron!!!

I came to Georgetown Texas for vacation over 900 miles away from Illinois! Came to good time tattoo and got a thigh tat and it turned out really good! The guys was very nice and were willing to work with me on the price! I would recommend good time tattoos to anyone they are the best!! Thanks guys!

Ok so Johnny did my tattoo back in July, it was the the day before the 4th. I asked for a galaxy theme and I did let him create his own masterpiece. I will say that it did not turn out the way I wanted it to. I text and told him and he told me to let it heal.... and months later I still do not like it. It looks cheaply done or like Ive just been doodled on and its already fading. I paid 500 dollars for it just to be extremely dissatisfied. And I know it took me a while to leave a review because I dont like to bash any business, but everyday that I wake up I regret getting this tattoo... Ive always just let things slide but this is my body and I thought I would grow to love it, unfortunately that hasnt happened and I dont think it will.

Overall a great experience. I walked in the day before with a semi good idea. I let Steve take it and run with his artistic creativity. I am extremely happy with the results and have gotten tons of compliments. The price was great too. The atmosphere in general is extremely chill. After 20 mins I felt like I was just hanging out with old friends. The owner is a great guy too. I will definitely be getting some more pieces done. Good Times is a perfect name for the shop.

I popped in for a Friday the 13th tattoo and was greeted like I was a priority amongst the mass of patrons. The process was simple, and my artist was super nice and genuine. I also have the cleanest line work for a tiny tattoo that Ive seen in awhile. Great pricing and a great atmosphere. 10 outta 10 will be back again !

We had a great 11th Anniversary on Friday and topped it off with a couple of tattoos at Good Times Tattoo with @benthemenace. Ben was awesome and the guys at Good Times were great!! Attempted multiple times to set up a consultation with Matthew over the course of a month using email, Instagram, calling the shop and utilizing the booking/appointment request form on the website. Was offered to come in same day for a consult but when I attempted to reschedule as Im a nurse working nightshift I never received any reply.Artist has really great shading and line work so its really unfortunate I couldnt get my tattoo done here. I understand theyre trying to recoup losses from being shut down in the pandemic resulting in being pretty busy but waiting over a month for even a consult and having multiple attempts ignored to follow up with the artist seems unreasonable.

I I would highly recommend Steve. He did a cover up for me and it came out beautiful. You cant even see what was there before and Ive had more compliments on this tattoo and the best part about it is its a cover-up. Hes professional laid-back and I will be seeing him again in a few weeks to get a new tattoo, not another cover-up but a new one. I let him run with his own ideas. Hes Great!

I’ve been to this tattoo shop a few times and man am I blown away every time. You walk up and the first thing you see are the artists iron steeds ready to carry them off into the Texas sunset. Hanging above the shop is one of the most distinctive and definitely hard to miss signs. Of course there’s a loyal horse on that as well. Through the doors you pass and even though it seems like a change in temperature that you’re feeling it’s a change in attitude. Out of the hateful and selfish fuel driving world into a cool and relaxing den of artistic confidence. I could go on and on with words to describe the wonder and fascination of this studio but it’s something you must experience in real life.

Had a really great experience working with Steve Goodspeed. Me and my friend went in spur of the moment and talked to Steve and he got me in and out in an hour which was what I wanted. He gave my friend a bigger tat the next day but the experience was excellent. He was very easy going and easy to work with.

Had 2 tattoos done by Johnny, with in 1 hour, and both turned out Excellent. They were my designs and Johnny had no problems with inking both. Very clean facility and quite cordial and friendly artists.

After a very unpleasant interaction at another tattoo shop in RR, we decided to drop in & check this place out. Authentic tattoo shop vibe from the get-go. A look through the albums told us these guys were super talented, true artists. Talking to them was easy & comfortable, like talking to long-time friends. They were able to accommodate us that day & went above & beyond to knock it out of the park. We have officially found our new tattoo home. Dylan may be young, but talented beyond his years. If you are looking for a black & grey masterpiece, he is your guy. You can tell the owner, Johnny, has put his heart & soul into this place. It has a unique old-school vibe with glimpses of new-school fun and just the right music playing. He also has the talent & experience to do just about anything you want done, with style. Just go & check it out. They wont disappoint. BONUS: Tons of stuff to do & see & EAT nearby. With a coffee/tea shop, candy store, restaurants and more within feet of the store, how could you NOT? We literally cant wait to go back for more ink.P.S. They may not advertise most affordable tattoo... but their prices are SUPER affordable considering the major talent they offer.

I want to say coming in today and getting my first tattoo wasn’t the best experience. Working with several clients a day, I always aim to be nice by meeting their needs and make sure they know everything will be taken care of. The gentlemen that came up was a little rude and seemed like he didn’t care about my tattoo. Then comes Mike P! Absolutely the opposite of the man that came up to my friend and I. You can be the best artist but not having a better attitude nor common courtesy towards customers play a big factor on you as an individual within the business. Not sure if he was an artist but I’m assuming so. If you are a beginner GO TO MIKE P! Absolutely one of the kindest person you will ever meet and great artist! Thank you Mike P!

Awesome place all around. The place is clean and neat and the employees are all very nice. They were super patient and actually encouraged me to be super picky about exactly how the design was placed. I felt like the pricing was extremely reasonable and was prepared to pay a lot more, so no complaints there. My tattoo is perfect.

Terrible customer service.. went in to get a tattoo with my brother for his wife that passed away two days ago. After showing him a reference picture he said “this is what you want?!” I’m an extremely rude and condescending tone with an ugly look on his face. I’m sorry but I don’t think an artist should decipher what is meaningful to someone or judge them based on what is to them. Went to super nova instead and had a much better experience.

I had the best experience with Mike P as my tattoo artist. I have been wanting to get a tattoo for years, yet never had the inspiration to know exactly what I wanted to have on my arm. I came into the tattoo shop nervous and unsure what to expect as this is my first ever tattoo. I knew I wanted the tattoo to be around the theme courage. With the help of Mike P and my friend, the tattoo concept took on a life of its own. I was completely blown away by the sketch Mike P came up with. Once the outline was placed on my arm, it was love at first sight. Thank you Mike P and Good Times Tattoo in helping fulfill a lifelong mission that came so out beautifully.

I went on Friday the 13th, it was packed! They had a $13 tattoo special (you had to choose from a set list of like 20 different ones) I got an Anchor on my Ankle with the number 13. I waited about 30 mins they got about 15 people done in that wait time. I was only on the table for about 15 mins getting my tat and I was done. I love getting tattoos! I would recommend trying it out!

Got a new tattoo for my birthday! Aaron Dixon drew this up for me, and did a fantastic job of making it look just the way I wanted! I am so pleased with his efficient and awesome job! He also did a good job distracting me whenever my friend had some technical issues with her phone (she was my distraction).

If I could give them a zero I would. 1/3 of my body is covered in ink, so Im not new to tattoos. I walked in here just because I was wanting something small and simple, something that was very sentimental to me. Something close to my heart, from my time in the military. The moment I said white ink, this ***hole said no. Wouldnt even let me go any further.I get that the white ink wont show up very well, and thats kind of the point I was wanting. For it to be something that I knew was there and helped me when I needed it. I was pretty much going to pay them for barely any work, almost free money. You get a tattoo because it means something to you. Good job telling a veteran that the one they want isnt worth your time, real classy. Ill let all my fellow vets know if they want a good tattoo, Good Times is not the place to go.

We were on a getaway for our Anniversary. We wanted to get a tattoo. Went to Good Times. The made us feel welcome. They did a excellent job. Looking for a tattoo hit them up.

Very friendly! Good hearts. I went when they were doing a fund raiser for foster kids and all proceeds went to that including their tips. Johnny did mine and he exceeded my expectations. Totally going back!

I have been coming here a little over 3 years. Amazing place nestled in downtown RR. The artists are knowledgeable, professional and extremely talented. The vibe in the shop is friendly, welcoming and cool. A definite favorite of mine.

Johnny does the best work and very versitle. Great location and amazing spot! Not a basic plain Jane shop. Very original, great if you dont want another basic, boring tribal wrap or tramp stamp butterfly.

I enjoyed my visit here. The lobby was great and my room was clean. The downstairs cafe staff were quick and helpful to get me my complimentary meal. I enjoyed swimming in the pool, as well.

The artist, Aaron, is fantastic! He spoke to me about what I wanted and created a beautiful piece that I will love forever. Absolutely worth the time and will be returning for my next one!

I was ghosted by Matthew after he reached out to me asking for more details. I sent several emails trying to follow up, and they were all ignored. I lost out on a lot of time that could have been spent with other artists. I left a review on FB in which the establishment doubled down on their lack of professionalism. I would never recommend a business that decides to ghost a client and then act like children because they get called out on it.If you wanted to be left alone maybe you shouldve just let the negative review stay without crying about it. Grow up and stop blowing up my notifications everywhere because youre upset. You screw up, you get a bad review. Its not that hard.If getting a negative review hurts you this bad, maybe you should consider being more professional.
