Absolutely the most amazing place for piercings. Katrina and Jim both are so knowledgeable and professional. Only place I go. Went today. Got my nostril pierced as well as my flat. Very happy and excited how perfect my piercings look. Katrina did my piercings today. She is the sweetest person. She was also able to run a taper through my navel piercing that I thought closed after surgery. Couldn’t be happier today. Thank you Katrina!!! You are the best.

Both of my daughters have had their ears peirced here by James. The shop is beautiful and clean like a high end jewelry store! James is awesome and amazing with kids! I wouldnt go anywhere else! Highly recommend!

James was awesome for me! I got a third lobe piercing on each ear and a flat. He provided guidance on jewelry, talked me through the entire process, and was super thorough going over after care. I can’t recommend Holeybody enough! I’ll definitely be going back for any and all future piercings!

I made a same day appointment, and I got my right bottom lip pierced. Katrina was amazing and so sweet her energy and positive vibes were everything and more. The place itself is so beautiful and clean and their jewelry section is literally one of a kind! Katrina made sure that I felt comfortable! Great place to get pierced. I got my nose pierced and James did such a great job. Would absolutely recommend. He took me step by step on how he was gonna do it and how to care for it.

I have never been so comfortable and so relaxed at a piercing shop before! I’m always skeptical and scared for the pain. But with James I felt relaxed and barely felt any pain when it came down to peircing because I was comfortable in his studio. I will never go anywhere else for a peircing. Also…he has the best collection of jewelry I’ve ever seen. It’s like a jewelry store and piercing shop in one. He also walked me through how he sanitizes the jewelry, very cool. I HIGHLY recommend Holeybody. If you are reading this don’t hesitate and book that appointment!

Made an appointment for a jewelry change. Online booking/release form were super easy and convenient. James is very friendly and his decades of experience are definitely evident. Shop is very clean. In & out within about 10 minutes. My jewelry is also in much more securely than originally. Would definitely come back for future piercings. Highly recommend!

I 10/10 recommend Holeybody and Katrina. Before I even had my appointment, Katrina was accommodating and responsive. The jewelry selection at Holeybody is AMAZING, the best I have ever seen. Katrina made sure I was comfortable within my budget and never made us feel pressured into buying anything. She was beyond knowledgeable and answered every question we had with ease. You could tell she truly cared about her customers and their piercings. Not to mention she was super cool to talk to and made us laugh the whole time we were there. Ive been pierced here 3 times now and its always a wonderful experience!! James and Katrina are both very knowledgeable and friendly and very good at what they do. I was nervous getting a genital piercing as a trans person, but James made me feel very comfortable and I am OBSESSED with the results!!

James and Katrina are simply THE BEST of the best in all things piercing. I came and seen James prior to my foot surgery and he extremely knowledgeable about what would be best for me and my piercing. The following day directly after my surgery Katrina got my piercing put back in and again extremely knowledgeable, helpful and got me a game plan for a couple future piercings. There isn’t any other place I’ll go to have any future piercings completed. That includes anything for my kiddos too. I forgot to mention how GORGEOUS and clean the facility is and the HUGE selection of high quality jewelry. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Piercings-nose, second lobesJames and Katrina are amazing, not only as artists, but they’re also so fun to be around! My first piercing here was my nose when I was 17 and they worked with me so well. The placement is perfect, and they’ve helped me change out my jewelry a few times. They get to know you really well when you visit, which I loved. I got my second lobes about a year after my nose, and again had a great experience. I live 3 hours away now, but I’m gonna have to plan my next piercing around when I have a chance to come back to Saginaw! They also have a massive jewelry collection, which can make the cost of the piercing more expensive, but definitely worth it. I could not recommend these guys anymore!

Had a great experience with Katrina! She was so helpful and patience while I picked my jewelry and she took her time to make sure my piercings looked perfect! Also James was great helping me set up my appointment and answering questions I had beforehand. I will recommend them to everyone!

Hands down, the best piercing experience Ive ever had! Right from the start, booking an appointment online was very easy. I even had questions about the jewelry types prior to my appointment and she responded within an hour to my messages with a picture of what they had. I got to the shop and once she was ready, Katrina called for me by name and was super excited and very bubbly. She helped me look through the jewelry and find what not only fit my price range but also what fit my face type and skin tone. I really appreciate someone who is so passionate about what they do and is willing to help you make your decision based on their expertise. Once we found the perfect nose ring for me, she began sterilizing everything and I waited for about 5 minutes before heading to the room I would be pierced in. Once we got to the room, we started talking fit and placement. She tried a couple hoops on me as that is my goal once healed. She also marked off where she would put the nose ring and made sure I was okay with it and I was. I had a poor experience by another piercer previously and voiced my concerns based on that, Katrina reassured me that none of that would happen while she was piercing me and she was 100% correct. It was such a good experience and hardly hurt. You can really tell that she is a true professional at this and takes pride in what she does. I do want to note too, the entire time she was educating me on having a nose piercing and letting me know her process and how I should take care of it afterwards. She answered any and all questions that I had too.

First of all, this place is STUNNING. It is so clean, the lighting is perfect, and the fixtures are beautiful. Theres a large selection of gorgeous jewelry to choose from, even for the littles.I took my (almost) 5 year old to get her ears pierced (shes been asking for about a year). Katrina was so thorough and made sure my daughter consented to EVERYTHING and it made me feel so comfortable. The entire experience, from booking online, to the consultation, to the actual piercing was 10/10. Im so glad we came here!

I have been to James and Katrina many times for several different kinds of piercings and I am impressed every time! The level of professionalism, combined with a laid back atmosphere has made this my favorite shop to get pierced at. James will take as long as needed to make sure not only is your piercing placed in the spot that you want it, but also that it looks correct with your individual anatomy. Plus, they are super educational when it comes to aftercare. I cannot recommend these guys enough!

After a lot of research, I decided to visit James for a new piercing and it was DEFINITELY the correct choice. James has a great personality and knows how to make you feel comfortable before, during, and after your piercing. There is no rushing and he communicates everything he is doing as hes doing it. He took the time to answer any questions I had and made sure that everything was good to go before I left. Extremely impressed! They make sure everything is sterile before the piercing. They really take the time to make sure your going to be happy with placement and the piercing itself. James and Katrina are very friendly and they make you feel comfortable. They are also very informative and knowledgeable. It’s great to know you can come to them if anything is wrong or if your unhappy afterwards. I also never went to a place that likes to schedule a follow up appointment to see how the piercing is doing. They really care about their customers and are passionate about what they do. I think I finally found the shop I’m never going to stop going to!

James and Katrina are great. Very helpful picking out jewelry that will look good. Honest and knowledgable about if your anatomy will work with the piercing you want. You dont want to spend money and deal with the pain just for something to look ugly or reject because the piercer didnt care enough to tell you no. James was able to provide alternative ideas that would work for me. He was very friendly and got the piercing part done fast and relatively painless. Will go back again.

I got pierced by James and it was the absolute best experience. He was so kind and incredibly professional and made sure I was comfortable. He took time to make sure the piercing would work best with my anatomy and educated me thoroughly on pretty much anything I needed to know, including detailed aftercare instructions. I got my septum pierced here a while back and it has healed absolutely perfectly as far as I can tell. Katrina was super helpful and kind while picking out jewelry and James was incredibly kind as well and seems to have a way to put nervous people at ease before piercing them. Overall a great experience 10/10 I would definitely get pierced here again.

Recieved so much attention and time with Katrina. She was very upfront and honest about being an apprentice and gave me the option of who would be doing my piercing. I chose her because we had such a great experience with her and she was fantastic! They proved the quality of their jewelry and sanitization efforts. She made me comfortable and they want you to keep in touch about any of your questions even/especially after your piercing. James was great as well and has the confidence of someone who has been doing this forever. I preferred Katrina because she took her sweet time with me, while James gives you the confidence and security some people may be looking for. Both are necessary qualities but take that into consideration when looking for a piercing specialist.

The sign in their lobby says it all “if you can find somewhere cheaper, we would be happy to fix it for you”. I got my septum pierced downstate and had a rough experience but James and Katrina were SO GREAT and helped me out. Now I actually feel confident with my piercing. Everything was so clean, well done, and I could ask questions without feeling like an annoyance. I can’t wait to go back for any new additions!

Yesterday I went in for an eyebrow piercing, and it was the most welcoming and comfortable experience I have ever had. Katrina is such a professional sweetheart. I never felt scared and knew what was happening with each step . The piercing itself is so phenomenal, I cried when I saw it because it looks like it was always meant to be there. I am beyond pleased with the service I received from James & Katrina!!! I scheduled my appointment online and was able to be seen the same day. I have daith piercings & they both handled my situation with style and professionalism. I had a piercing fall put while on vacation and needed it replaced quickly. Not only were they able to get me taken care of but they were also able to replace the jewelry with exactly what I wanted instead of the boring jewelry that I settled for at my previous location. I will definitely be visiting them again when I move to the Saginaw area.

12/31/19 My girlfriend and I went to get a piercing for her. Fast and easy scheduling (got us in the next day at our preferred time). When we arrived 10 minutes early for the appointment we were greeted promptly. James (i hope i remember that correctly) first helped us select jewelry for the piercing and went through paperwork. After paperwork was done and jewelry was selected we went to the back room which was a private room with locking doors which was a comfortable feeling knowing someone was not going to walk in randomly. James then was very transparent with explaining and demonstrating that the room and equipment has been sterilized and was clean. Being that the piercing was a private area on my girlfriend i would have preferred a female, but through the entire process James was very respectful and appropriate..NO COMPLAINTS! James is very knowledgeable and made my girlfriend comfortable with the piercing she was nervous about. The piercing went very smoothly, nice and straight which we all agreed on. After the piercing James took his time to make sure my girlfriend was calmed down, he was NOT pushy in any way after the piercing to get us out of the store for the next customer which was appreciated. Lastly we proceeded to the front counter for payment. Our visit was very seamless and comforting. I would definitely recommend James for piercings as he is very knowledgeable and respectful. Not to mention he has a great sense of humor and had us both laughing the whole time. 5 out of 5 stars!! Thank you for the great work :)

I got my septum pierced for my 17th birthday today, and the whole experience was amazing. katrina was so sweet and helpful when i was picking the perfect jewelry! she also made sure i knew everything was safe and sterile for the piercing. james actually did the piercing, and he was hilarious. it literally felt like i was just talking with a friend i’ve known forever, while also getting stabbed in the nose! the actual procedure was not very painful and so quick, no problems whatsoever. i loved everything about this visit, and absolutely LOVE my new piercing! i seriously can’t stop looking in the mirror! everyone working there was delightful and i will never go anywhere else ever for a piercing. ❤️

I went to Holey body to get a helix piercing and they pierced it with a 6mm post, which is way too small as I now know. I’ve had it for almost a year and the swelling never went down, I decided to get it looked at by another shop, they were going to put a longer post in but couldn’t get the jewelry out and sent me to the ER because the swelling was so bad. I’m currently getting it cut off and the owner was not even understanding about my situation, I’m now out of money for the piercing and the hospital bills. I also might have cauliflower ear. Don’t go here.

Blown away! All the staff was phenomenal with my 9 year old daughter. I would strongly recommend James for children. Patient, reassuring, and definitely fun! Great selection of jewelry for children, too. I cant say enough about what a great experience it was for her.
