Old Town Tattoo

Horrible experience! Got a tattoo from them a few years ago. Was supposed to be a birth flower, fine line. Sent the reference picture and that I wanted it in the pinky side of my wrist. When I got there the sketch was WAY thicker than I wished. When I told him that I’d like it thinner he stated that there was “absolutely no way It could become thinner than that”. He then proceeded to place the stencil by my elbow. I should have left after that, but I unfortunately did not.he charged $80 for less than 5 minutes (which I get some tattoos take not that long but still). A few days later one of the petals had already FADED. I messaged him and he “touched it up” and proceeded to tell me that if I come back again to get it touched up that it would be $100…. I’m sorry but tattoos don’t fade in 3 days. I then left them alone and about a month later realized my tattoo had blown out. It was extremely raised off my skin and ink was seeping. Very upset about this. I’m now having to pay to get it removed, because it drives me that much insane😠

I am OBSESSED with my new tattoo from Goose! First of all, Old Town was very quick at getting back to me with an estimate, including making the appointment. The shop is very clean, and Goose was really good about checking in with me and making sure I was alright. It was very relaxing! I will 10/10 come here again! Thank you again!

Had an appointment at 1:00 got a fire call so I called and told them I would be a half hour late and they said no problem we can get it started once you get here. I drove 1.5hr to get it and when I arrived at 1:35 I was told the tattoo artist left to her other job and we would have to reschedule for another day.

I made an appointment for a tattoo that was going to cost roughly $250 and they said I needed to put down a $50 deposit in advance. I made the 45 min trip just to pay this deposit a month in advance. I have a very demanding job hence the month advance appt. There was plenty of communication leading up to this appt between the artist and I. The day of I get there and the artist isnt even there and hasnt been for weeks due to medical reasons and the artist that was there was entirely booked and even said he didnt know why he even made this appt. I was then told contact him for my deposit back. When I asked for my money he said it would be a month because he doesnt have it. I tried again 3 months later and no response. Now its been over a year and I never got my money back! Rather disappointing! I chose this place because I saw how many years of experience but never got my tattoo! Ill never go back and its money down the drain!

Terrible experience, ruined my sons piece and will not fix it. The pictures are all from Old Town Tattoo. They refuse to fix all of these. Threatened me with lawyer and said not to contact again.

Great customer service and they know what they are talking about. Have been pierced and tattooed there multiple times, would recommend.

NICK my tattooer definitely did a really nice job on me and my girlfriend/ Future wifes tattoo. 10/10 definitely did an amazing job. Would Most def come back🤘🏾🤘🏾 Update Years later shes not my gf nomo and nick I need her name removed ASAP🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️

By far the best tattoo shop that I have ever been to. Very nice atmosphere and very clean. My artist was Kevin and he was the best choice for me. He worked with me every step of the way in creating a personal tattoo that means a lot to me. Kevin Gotti was kind enough to fit me in on his day off. He was welcoming, knowledgeable, and friendly. He is passionate about his art and it shows in his work. My experience at Old Town Tattoo was nothing but enjoyable. Jim helped me feel comfortable for the tattoo laser removal and put me at ease. Jim and Katrina were nothing but welcoming and I appreciated the work they did. 10/10 would recommend!

Went in to get my thigh tattoo, and I was nervous but the tattoo artist who goes by Kevin made it such an comfortable experience and spent the whole time joking and laughing which made it so much better. Didn’t even hurt either because he wasn’t so heavy handed and it healed perfectly! Get complaints on it all the time, definitely going back for more just because of the calm and chill, welcoming atmosphere!

I love Old Town Tattoo so much. Kevin does my tattoos and if I could rate higher than 5/5 I would :) Kevin makes sure you’re doing okay, it’s very very clean there, and he gives AMAZING tattoos!! I recommend Kevin to all my friends :)

I brought my minor aged daughter in for a septum piercing. I cant express how great this place is! Great atmosphere, great people, very very clean! My daughter now wants to get into this line of work, shes already a talented drawer for her age. We drove over an hour to go to OldTown....and we will again Im sure! Highly recommended!!!

Kevin did an ok job. The lines aren’t straight and he didn’t do a very good job filling in the tattoo. He dry wipes which I told him not to do plenty of times. It’s unproportional and you can see the mess up that made it that way. I’m gonna have to fix it myself once it heals. He also tried to charge me more for it after we discussed a lower amount. Hope this review helps.

Jim was fantastic!!! My roommates and I drove an hour each way just because this place had such good reviews (whereas everything near by us is garbage), and because the Holey Body website was superb! The process overall took two hours for four piercings total, but it was wonderful throughout. I got my eyebrow pierced, my one roommate wanted a new earring and got her conch after Jims suggestion (and it looks great on her), and my other roommate got her first lobes. Overall it was a little pricey but you get what you pay for!!! It was amazing, Jim was great, Katrina was doing really well with her learning and curiosity, and I cannot wait to go back for any future body mods! Thanks Jim!

I went there today with a friend so she could get her belly button pierced. A man that works here named Jim was extremely friendly and helpful in making sure she recieved the right piercing! He explained how he did the safest piercings and how he always made sure everything was completely sanitized before piercing. He was definitely true to his word! In general, the whole place was very clean and very well kept. I most definitely plan on coming here to get my own piercing soon!

I have gone to this place for many many years for all of my piercing needs and most of my tattoo needs. They are always very friendly staff but especially James. I can be like a kid in a candy store looking at all his jewelry and Ill spend hours with him and he is very patient to help me put together what Im looking for and looking up multiple prices and giving me many ideas. I have found that most other places are only thinking about the money theyll make so if you dont purchase something in the first few minutes theyre not interested in helping you. James is different. He helps you realize your dream of what your piercings should be and puts together a look that will make you happy.

Got two tattoos done here, great work, truly. They were done by Nick who no longer works here. He quit before he could fill in one of my pieces which is a character so its pretty easy to do. Ive left voicemails and sent messages that have been seen but have not gotten a response yet for over a month. Im sure they are busy, I get that, but to not answer any messages or return any calls is pretty lazy.

I just got some piercings over the 4th of July, everybody was super awesome, nice, and uplifting. Probably the best piercing experience Ive ever had, I 100% recommend 😄 Social distancing precautions were met, everyone wore their mask the entire time, correctly, temperature was taken at the door before I went inside, one customer allowed in the lobby at a time, and hand sanitizer was used just after entering as well. It was 100% perfect. Totally recommend 😄

All the artists are great, the piercers are very friendly and professional, and the whole shop consistently puts out quality work! Nick has done my whole sleeve and touched up some of my older work, and Im already planning to have him do my other sleeve and chest (and probably more eventually).

I decided to get my ears repierced, and Im so glad I chose Katrina at Holeybody. She ensured in front of me that the earrings I chose, the procedure area and my earlobes were completely sterlized before she began. I highly recommend both Katrina and John at Holeybody.com.

Nick did an amazing job. Didnt feel a thing. Love his light touch. Was visiting family and my cousin has had a few done by him and so to Nick we went. When I moved back there next year will be using Nick as my tat man. Love how it came out.

Zoe pierced my 5 year old daughters ears and she did an amazing job. Beyond being a highly skilled professional she took the time to establish a rapport with my daughter and make her comfortable before piercing her ears. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!!!

James and Katrina took great care of my son and I when we went in for my sons piercing. I highly recommend their shop. They were clean, professional, and very helpful.

My sister and I went in to get matching wrist tattoos the other day and Glenn took care of us. We wanted our astrological constellation, which is just dots and straight lines. Hours after we got them done we took off the bandages and saw that the dots and lines are extremely crooked, uneven, and misshapen. It looks like an amateur doodled some lines with a sharpie. Glenn was extremely patient and respectful with us, and a really nice guy - however that doesn’t excuse the fact that our tattoos look horrible and now we have to go get them covered up. We both emailed him explaining the situation and asked for a refund but he never replied. I know that Old Town is a very reputable place and that’s why we went there, but we are both highly disappointed. It’s not a good feeling to get a new tattoo and instantly start planning to get it covered up as soon as possible.

I’ve gotten 4 tattoos here (1 by glen and 3 from Kevin) and I’d come back for more! Good customer service, and they make you comfortable when you’re nervous about tattoo pain.

I have only gotten a piercing here - no tattoo. It was by far the cleanest place I have been to in the tri-city area with the highest quality jewlery (I have seven piercings). Super helpful and patient staff, their piercer Zoe is excellent. I recommend it to anyone looking to get anything pierced, the higher price for jewlery is worth it for sure.

Love this place! Ive been here for every one of my tattoos and my boyfriend got one here, too. Nick has done all my tattoos, and James did an awesome scarification on me. Very well done.

James was amazing!! My 6 yo only ended up getting 1 ear pierced he was very supportive, goofy, and didnt pressure her a bit!

If I could give 0 stars I would. The owner Goose and tattoo artist Kevin were both unprofessional and extremely disrespectful to my mother and I. The tattoo was done in 3 minutes and isn’t well done. Going to get it removed. Will never recommend them.

I went down there and paid 60$ to get an apt made. And he has not gotten back to me in a month. Nothing drawn up no call backs. I have tried alot of times to get in touch with anyone. They will rob you so beware.

Got my 6 year olds ears pierced and have no regrets. Staff is amazing and so very careful of the cleanliness in everything they do.

The only place in Saginaw I trust to get pierced. Clean is an understatement! James is an accomplished piercer and it shows.
