I got a couple of small tattoos about a year ago with Mike, and every time I see them, think about how I could get them covered up by another artist. When I went to see Mike, my first red flag should have been that his space is a part of a storage center. Secondly, while preparing his workspace and tools for my tattoos, he did not unwrap the needles and ink in front of me, but instead in a back room- how was I to know that they were new or clean? I should have left then.I had brought in several simple and thin designs that I wanted, and he said that they would be quick and easy for him. One of my tattoos is on my finger, and he tattooed it with my hand floating in the air, not even taking the time to arrange a suitable situation for my hand to rest on a table for more accurate results- now I have a bent and uneven cross tattooed on my finger, thankfully covered by my wedding band. The second tattoo done at the same visit produced similar results- I had chosen a very dainty and symmetrical feminism sign to be placed on my heel; I got a slightly lopsided, very thick, and uneven ink distributed tattoo. Spend a little more money somewhere else to make sure you get exactly what you want in a safer and cleaner environment.
