Drunken Monkey Tattoo

Got an amazing tattoo in remembrance of our cat. They got us in within an hour with no appointment, Dreek did an amazing job. It honestly was more than we were expecting, he managed to get the paw print and the unique lines perfect. The staff was so caring and friendly. Absolutely would recommend!

Got a couple of awesome tattoos done by Justin. The atmosphere of the studio is relaxed, clean, and organized. They really make you feel welcomed and comfortable throughout the whole experience of getting your tattoo. I love finding new places and artists to add to my sleeve so I was super pumped to get an opportunity to visit the Drunken Monkey on my last trip to Saginaw! Justin is an amazing artist and matched my theme flawlessly. I really enjoyed the banter and conversation during my visit and everyone was so cool. I’ll definitely be back again if I have the chance!

Love the environment and all of the artists. But I have to say the care this place has really is amazing. I reached out because my daughter was having issues with a piercing that wasnt even done at this shop but because I trust them and their knowledge I asked them for advise. They gave me so much information and put my mind at ease. I have gotten tattoos here and absolutely love them.

Justin did amazing work on my memorial tattoo for my grandma! Also got matching tattoos with my best friend and had my husband get his memorial piece for our son with Justin! Would recommend him and this shop to everyone! Pictures of mine attached!

Love DMT!! The artist are all wonderful. theyre knowledgeable and will give you there input to help you get the design youre looking for. During a couple sessions they ordered food and invited us being tattooed to join in. 😁 The atmosphere is relaxing and joking around. I love it.Personally Vinny is my favorite! Hes done a few of my tattoos. One was an idea iIbrought to him and another was one of his own personal designs (which is probably my favorite tattoo).

Justin has done 4 different tattoos for me. I absolutely love his work! He takes an idea and creates an incredible piece of art! Hes done tattoos for my son and mom as well and theyve been equally as happy with his work.

They are super easy to work with. I would highly recommend any artists here, and I also think it is an excellent studio to go to for your first tattoo.

Justin covered a tattoo on my arm Ive hated for ten years.My cover up is beautiful. I was self conscious to wear short sleeves and I was so embarrassed for people to see my arm.I cant stop showing people my arm now. His tattoo is a masterpiece and I cant thank him enough for restoring my confidence. He is gifted and his talent is endless. I recommend him to anyone wanting a good experience and an excellent tattoo

I chose these two designs for their Friday the 13th Sale. Faith did my work. She was super nice, clean, and let me talk her ears off. I was comfortable the whole time and was helped thoroughly with placement, sizing, aftercare, and pricing. These people really care about the work they do in their clients and I feel I could develop a really good relationship with this shop (Hamilton Rd location) and their artists! Would get work done here again and would recommend to anyone looking for great tattoos!

Justin was my artist, and I have to say he not only did a great job. I got along with him really well. Super nice guy. This is the work I had done. 1.Air Nation symbol - left calf 2. A Coyote Smoking a Cigarette - ribs. We did both pieces in the same day and the price was more than fair. Afterwards they gave me good advice on how to keep my tattoos healthy and sold me some primo aftercare. Very chill great experience. Bet shop in Saginaw.

I’ve gotten all of my tattoos at DMT and I absolutely LOVE every one of them. Pedro is an amazing artist who clearly cares about his work and his clients. I’ll never go anywhere else :))) All of the artists there are so nice and so talented. If you’re looking for quality tattoos and artists who care about their work AND their clients, I would 100% recommend DMT.

Drunken Monkey is my go-to for tattoos in Saginaw, MI. The staff is very friendly and genuinely cares that you have a great experience. They take pride in their work and always have great deals going. I’ve gotten a tattoo from almost all of the artists and all of them have been great experiences. They are easy to communicate with and book appointments fast. I have nothing but good of things to say about DMT studios. First time customer as a walk in today, staff was very friendly, the lady I spoke with on the phone even sent me the address via text right to my phone!! my artist Vinny was very awesome to work with and they’re prices are right on par. I will definitely be a return customer. If your looking to get work done in the Saginaw area this tattoo shop I highly recommend!!!! For the quality of work by the artists and the customer service they have I can’t say how much I was impressed!!!!

Easy app to schedule appointment, and send over inspiration photos. Paired me up with Kenz after getting an idea of what I wanted. Quick sit down with Kenz, and scheduled a day. Kenz is a great artist and took my idea and made it a reality. Super happy with my experience. 39 and my first tattoo, couldn’t have picked a better place or artist for it.

Jero did my tattoo and he’s absolutely awesome. Called and got an appointment same day. The sketch was amazing, he nailed everything I wanted and more. He was very gentle tattooing, I even fell asleep lol. The final tattoo came out stunning! I’m so impressed by his work. Not to mention the shop has such good vibes. Don’t think twice about coming to this shop!! Just do it!!

Awesome experience getting my foot tattoo. Kristen worked with me from the beginning on bringing my design idea to life. At the appointment, I had a blast while the work was being done. Everyone was so friendly, the stations were clean and sterile and the work turned out beautifully! I cant wait to come back for future pieces!

Raquel is amazing at everything she does, made the scheduling easy, got me and my daughter in super-fast for our tattoos and scheduled us with a wonderful artist Skizzy Scott!! He made the tattoo time fun and tried to make as comfortable as possible!! Loved his singing also!!

Safe and clean environment! Kristen did my tattoo and she was so nice and easy to talk to. She did a great job listening to what I wanted, drawing up the design, and does great work! I had started to feel light headed getting my tattoo and she was really caring and asked if I was okay and if I needed anything. I cant wait to get another tattoo with her!

Came in for the flash sale tattoo...was told first come first serve, told hour and half wait (was cool with that). 2 people came after me and they got their tattoos done before me. I left after sitting there for over 3 hours. Dont recommend on flash sale days!!! Very disappointed :(

Skizzy Scott is an absolute g. I got the coolest American traditional tat from him the other day and he was the best artist I’ve been to hands down. 🔥You def gotta try some of the stuff out of his book. He’s hella creative !

I went in with a friend and we both got tattoos on our back. we talked to one of the employees the day before to figure out the best time to come in. they got us both in, drawn up, and tatted in a little over 2 hours. one of the tattoos was just seen on pinterest (the spine) and the other tattoo, pedro (our awesome tattoo artist) helped create! would definitely recommend and would come back again to get tattooed by pedro.

Went to the new shop on Center. Vinny did my piece and it looks amazing. He and all the staff were friendly, welcoming and hilarious. Great atmosphere for anyone looking to getva tattoo. Highly Recommend!

I have had 4 tattos done with Drunken Monkey so far and my wife 3 or 4 more. Many with Jero did my Lucky Penny and tree of life. Pedro did my 4 roses and my Diamond. I get many compliments from random people. Justin is the one who has done my wifes best tattoo! I highly recommend DM to anyone looking. I will be getting my next one in October.

I had an awesome first experience. Being that it was my first tattoo I was very nervous. But they had a very friendly atmosphere and the artists made me feel very welcomed which made the entire experience so much easier for me! Kristen is great, shes incredibly talented! Im beyond impressed and would recommend her to anyone!

A little on the expensive side, but the shop is clean, the staff is friendly. My daughter got a few piercings, all the sterile packages were opened in front of us, and we were given clear aftercare instructions. My family and I will be going back.

Took my daughter here to get her first tattoo. They came highly recommended by a friend and she was right. Justin was the tattoo artist that did hers and he was amazing! Great personality made my daughter feel comfortable and relaxed. The tattoo turned out awesome. Defiantly will go back as they do piercings as well.

I explored Drunken Monkey after a bunch of disappointing consultations for a coverup. I knew this was my home after the artist shared his vision for my back piece. My first piece with Jero was two wonderful sessions. I fell in love with this artists work. He shared a vision for my half sleeve which was a partial coverup. We expanded to a full sleeve! I am completely in love with this piece. His additions are absolutely incredible. We didnt stop there ...Jero drew up a fabulous piece that would be perfect for my leg. (Picture attached) My experience was 5 stars! The shop is always clean and was prepped for my session upon arrival. Not only would I highly recommend this artist, and the overall team, but I would call this my home. My experience was full of laugher and the shop always filled with uplifting vibes. This team is balanced with extraordinary artists filled with many wonderful visions and talents!! Thank you Jero for all your hard work, and your amazing talent!! I absolutely adore all my tattoos!!

Justin did my mastectomy tattoo showed him a picture I wanted and was way better then the picture I gave him was so comfortable getting tattooed by him when I do show people I get so so many compliments how good it is. I will most definitely be back to him💗💗

Was looking around for quite some time for an artist who I felt could properly pull off a wolf piece in memory of my grandpa who passed away last November. Was recommended Logan at drunken monkey and I gave him some photos I found on Google which he then altered to make his own and Im so happy with the results.Not to mention how patient he was with it taking almost 8 hours and me wincing in pain, especially towards the end.Im glad I went to Drunken Monkey to do this tattoo, and when I add more to it, I will definitely be returning.My grandpa wouldve loved this piece. Great tattoo studio! I’ve gotten two tattooed here and have never been disappointed I will definitely continue coming here for new ink!

I received nipple piercings from this shop earlier this year in May. I’ve known about the shop for years and figured they were great at what they offered. I was wrong. I reached out to a master piercer recently and he informed me that they didn’t even pierce my nipple they pierced my areola. His exact words “Theres nothing correct about that piercing that is not a good piercing at all. They did not use the proper size jewelry they didnt even pierce your nipple they pierce your areola.” I should’ve known something was wrong when the piercer didn’t even have me lay down to get my nipple piercings. Once I researched, I found that was the first sign that the piercer didn’t know what she was doing. Also one nipple I had pierced 3 times due to it being off and I still wasn’t satisfied. I would not recommend anyone to receive piercings from this shop.

I have gotten two sizeable pieces (artist Justin) and have been extremely satisfied with the entire experience from consultation to my appointment day. The shop was always clean but the extra precautions they are taking during this difficult time were great to see and I was thrilled to go back for my second piece!

I got my second tattoo there when I was 18, it was really good. I called recently to get an appointment but there wasn’t any available. I’d like to go back soon though except the red tape you have to get through on parole is IMPOSSIBLE!!!!

Serena did an amazing job piercing my 9 year old daughters ears! Best price in the area by far. My fiancee got her tattoo touched up here too and is extremely pleased with the work done. Highly, highly recommended!

The workers here really care about you and your body. They make sure to give you all sorts of helpful cleaning instructions to keep tattoos and piercings clean and heal quick. Everyone os so friendly and kind and the work they do is top notch!! Would definitely recommend this shop to everyone!

I have had 3 tattoos done at Drunken Monkey, and I am beyond happy. The latest 2 were with Angie. I went in with a vision and Angie made something come to life better than I had ever imagined. She is extremely talented, all the artist here are, they have by far the best talent in Saginaw in my opinion. I have many other tattoos planned out and i will not be going anywhere else to have them done.

I wish I could give zero stars! This was the worst experience in my life. I was lied to and treated poorly. I went in to get my belly button piercing re pierced. The person who waited on me said there was too much scaring to repierce there and that my body size would make any belly button piercing look horrible. I have never been so upset. I cried for an hour because of this woman. Also after three different piercers looking at my stomach I found out that I don’t have much of any scar tissue and the woman as just lying. Body shaming is wrong and I would rather spend 1000$ anywhere else than 80$ here. Edit: my piercing is healing up just fine she said “with your body size A belly piercing just would never look good” what would you call that hm? And I don’t have any folds on my stomach and had close to no scar tissue. Maybe instead of defending your rude staff you would educate them on what is and is not okay to say to someone. If she was uncomfortable doing the piercing she could have just said that. Not comment on my body size thank you very much.

So impressed with the artists and work ! They make you feel welcome and they give you exactly what you are looking for! Both me and my husband both come here and weve yet to be disappointed! Would highly recommend coming here and go to Kristen! Shes absolutely the best!

Went here in January & got a very simple tattoo. I would show a picture but i don’t know how to upload one, anyway, it is a simple cross with the word “faith” in it. They charged me $70 for the simplest tattoo, no shading & it took 5 minutes for her to do it. so unless you’re looking to spend way more than you need, I wouldn’t recommend coming here.

Personally have not been purified through their ink laden scarification. ((Not that they are actually scaring you) technically, they do have gifted hands) I have a few friends who have outstanding artistry to show the skill of the drillers at drunken monkey, and I plan on going and checking in soon.

I got my navel done here February 19th and will NEVER be coming back here complete waste of my money I was pierced with a bar to small it literally began sinking into my skin I’ve gotten piercings before and have never had an issue 🙁
