I came here for my first piercing and I had Makala. She was really understanding and booking a time was super easy. She was also really nice and explained the aftercare and the procedure well. I was really happy with my experience and I definitely recommend the place. It was super clean and had friendly staff!! Will definitely come again.

We love their tattoo artist Madi! Ive gotten three tattoos from her and a few of my family have gotten 4 or 5! Theyre super welcoming, friendly, and happy to take large groups. They really make aure you like your tattoo and where its placed, not just what they think is best. I plan to always go here.

100/10 Experience! Michael did my belly piercing. It was super quick and easy and did not hurt at all. He talks you through every step and explains everything very well. Gave me the opportunity to ask any questions I had and did an overall amazing job. I will for sure be coming back!

The BEST shop in Utah for tattoos and piercings.I have worked with just about all the artists/piercers (I think everyone but Tanner). Michael has done my piercings since he was an apprentice and I will continue to go to him until I run out of piercings to get. Tyson and Makala have both switched out some of my jewelry and we’re so nice and helped me out in my “piercing emergencies”. I have gotten tattoos from both Maddy and Saige and they are both very talented artists. I have loved going to this shop since they opened and will continue to go back for my tattoo and piercing needs!

Makala did an amazing job! She did an eyebrow piercing for my daughter, who was extremely nervous and had many questions! Makala was super patient with her and answered all her questions and concerns! Definitely recommend!!

I went to Depth in Design a few weeks ago to get my nose pierced and Makala was amazing! Quick and painless! I went to her a couple years ago to pierce my nipples as well, and I absolutely love them still! I recently got my second tattoo done by Tanner as well and as always, left being 1000% satisfied! The team that is here is so friendly, fast to schedule with and it’s always a great vibe with beautiful work! Highly recommend!😁

Saige has done the majority of my tattoos and she is amazing. Always sees the vision I want to go with and even elevates it with her creative touch. This shop was so nice and welcoming. My friend and I went to get our belly buttons pierced. the piercer talked us through every step, let us know what he was gonna do and would tell us when he was going to do it, it made the experience less nerve racking. Definitely going back for another piercing.

The general vibe of the shop is so welcoming and friendly, and the experience of getting tatted/pierced was very educational and professional. Just got a conch piercing done. What really impressed me about Michael was how much he paid attention to body language and non-verbal cues. Its hard to feel NO nervous anticipation about having someone stab a needle through a part of your body, no matter how many times you do it. Michael was quick to notice and address those subtle signs of anxiety. Would absolutely recommend.

Recently got my septum pierced by Tyson. Fantastic job and service, really nice guy too

I came in here January of 2023 to get my first ever nose piercing! And I recently came back again to get my septum pierced along with my brother (which was his first piercing).Micheal is the best piercer ever! And he has very good practice of being safe & clean during the procedure. He made me feel very safe & comfortable even though I was very nervous hahaha. He answered all my questions before and after the procedure. I have the worst pain tolerance ever and he was very patient too. My brother also said hes really cool & chill as well and would recommend too.The pricing of their piercings are very reasonable. The environment is very clean. I have gotten tattoos from three different artists in this shop, and hope to eventually complete the round table. Every single time I come I am blown away by the incredibly friendly, calm, and soothing atmosphere. The shop is the most beautiful,clean, and peaceful tattoo parlour i have ever been in. Every single artist treats me with care, consideration, and very open honesty and communication. Depth in Design has won my utter loyalty and I look forward to coming back over and again for all my tattoo needs.

Very professional. Clean. Educated in the art of tattoo. Very informative, comforting, kind, and open environment. I havent had a tattoo in 20 years and Maddy is a gem and artist of the ages. Saige has done three of my tattoos now and this women is a god sent. she made sure i was comfortable with the tattoo and placements and made sure i knew how to take care of them after. she’s amazing and i will continue to get tattooed by her in the future!

Makayla did my nose piercing, she was fast, kept me calm through my anxiety and provided lots of information.I have also had several tattoos by Saige and she is an amazing artist!! I love the work she’s done and I expect to do more!!!

I have heard nothing but great reviews about the artistry and loving professionals here. Awesome people are hard to find and Gabbie is a flawless diamond. My daughter, Shamrey, has gotten several works of art from Gabbie over the years and I have to say she is, by far, one of the best tattoo artists in Utah. Simply the best.

Ive gone back and forth on writing this but I cant in good conscious recommend this shop for any type of work, despite everyone being very kind. I want to preface with some good things.Pros:• The shop is clean and well kept. Its feels safe and is.• Everyone is super friendly• They shop is an inclusive spaceMy tattoo was a gumball promo they had. If youre not familiar, you use a gumball machine to randomly be assigned a piece of predrawn flash art on a chart by getting a gumball and matching the number on it to the chart.I had low expectations from the beginning, it was very much a you get what you get kind of situation and I knew that. I got lucky and drew a flash piece I really liked. The artist initially came back with an outline for a different tattoo design than I had pulled and quickly fixed it, but only after, it was pointed out.Youre allowed to change some coloring from the flash, so I asked for a pink flower with a yellow fade into the middle. I was given a yellow flower with a pink center. I laughed it off, it was still a well done tattoo and I didnt even know what I was going to get when I walked in, so no biggie.Today though was different. My piercer couldnt thread the jewelry the first time she pushed the needle through and had to pierce it twice. After it was done it was obvious the piercing is not even remotely straight. The needle was pushed through and in, causing the ring to slant back toward my face on one side and out away from my face on the other.After consulting with my regular shop about it my only option is to take it out and let it heal for 2 months and then get it done again, this time through scar tissue. I want to really emphasize that I was pierced twice in one sitting, I went through an a ton of unneeded pain for me to not have my septum peirced since the angle was so bad I had to remove it.Im sad to say I cant recommend this shop for work of any kind.

Piercer was super nice and warming, made me feel more relaxed and eased, amazing talks and an ear to listen to, shes very friendly and really nice and amazing at her job, i would definitely recommend if anyone needs a piercing done this is the place to go to cuz all of mine have been amazing and I absolutely love them. I have got multiple tattoos and piercings from this staff and I will never go anywhere else. Very reasonable pricing and great services. They offer privacy and comfortability when needed. I have gone to gabbie for almost all of my tattoos!! shes so talented and i feel like she can do pretty much anything. she works really fast and i love every tattoo ive gotten from her.

I got my nose pierced by makala which went amazing but then when i went to get my tattoo by tanner it went well but it became irritated and red and i’ve tried contacting him multiple times but i have yet to hear a response other than that 10/10
