Metropolis Tattoo & Piercing

Went in to get my lobes done 4 more time, two on each side. No issues or complaints! KP did a good job laying out the process and checking the placement. The needle work was clean and quick too. I havent had any piercings done in over 10 years, but prices seemed fair to me. Def will consider going back for any future work.

I got my navel pierced here. I thought everything was cool but the piercing was embedding into the hole and looked gross. I went back to see if they could give me advice but I was turned away. That pissed me off because if it was an infection, that would be dangerous and I wanted the man that pierced me to check it out. Anyway I thought okay well if they arent gonna help Ill seek urgent care. Long story short I got help and retired the piercing after only having it for a few weeks. Later, I went to a different (reputable) piercer and they told me that it was pierced too shallow and with the wrong jewelry for my anatomy. Get pierced somewhere else. Make sure they know what they are doing too.

I went to get my nose pierced 2 years ago, and the piercer didnt really listen to how I wanted it placed so that the ring could be snug and not stick out so far. Keep in mind this was at a time when the mask mandate had just ended but COVID was still raging and I have autoimmune issues. He acted SO annoyed when I asked him to put on a mask, given that he would be inches from my face and obviously I couldnt wear one. He also told me the wrong healing time so when I went back to get the ring changed they acted so annoyed that I was there too early. I ended up just adjusting the ring myself later, I dont need that kind of attitude. I will say the place is clean and the actual piercing skills were good, but try listening to people and getting your facts right.

Got my 3 month old ears pierced. The guy was really nice about our baby crying up a storm and really professional. He did a great job at putting us at ease and teaching us how to care for the piercings.

Got my septum done by Eddie and he was great at helping me stay calm throughout the whole time. He explained how the piercing was gonna be done and how to clean it. He also helped me with my navel (done by myself) cause I was having issues with it. He was really great and nice! I’ll totally recommend!!

Steven, was fantastic!! The overall experience was great. I was ridiculously nervous but Steven was great and really calmed me down. I loved that he did not use clamps because I am just super sensitive. I LOVE the result so far (day 2!). My friend and I are visiting from out of state and we were so pleased to see how clean the place was and how professional the staff were. I highly recommend this place!!

My nose piercing fell out n the guy was rlly chill about it and popped it back in n if i hadn’t lost the jewelry it woulda been like 10 dollars to like get it repierced kinda

Eddie the piercer is a cool guy with great costumer service. He did a dermal and nostril piercing for me and they both turned out perfect. He’s good at keeping you calm throughout the whole process. Highly recommend, I’ll going back soon for some more piercings c:

I’ve gotten three of my piercings here (belly, septum, tongue). As a petite girl I my biggest thing is feeling safe, and these guys make you feel 150% safe, comfortable and relaxed. The shop is super clean, professional. They’ll explain in detail how they will do the piercing, as well as how to best take care of your piercings. I will be going back! Ive brought my friends here for their first time piercings. 10/10 recommend.

Look, I really dont like writing bad reviews, but in this case it is absolutely necessary for the sake of others.My wife and I went in to get septum piercings and we both left extremely disappointed. Eddie the piercer was nice, but thats about all the positive news I have.Eddie pierced my wife, not once, but twice, with super shaky hands and to no avail. Both attempts were crooked and painful. My wife began to bleed profusely and Eddies reaction was pure panic as he scrambled to put on new gloves and find tissue paper to stop the bleeding. Eddie said he wouldnt charge for the visit (uhhh, charge for what exactly??).I can go on and on, but I believe this is enough for people to get the gist of our face palm of a story. Needless to say, I didnt opt in to have Eddie pierce me. This was just such an overall embarrassing and disappointing experience.I hope that we are a rare and isolated incident, but perhaps more needs to be done to better train your employees with more efficient protocols and processes.This review by no means is intended to have any ill will towards anyone and simply want people to be informed.Cheers to happy future piercings (just not here).

They pierced two of my daughters ears. Steven was awesome with them. He kept the mood very light and making jokes to help my daughters stay calm. The place was very clean. Will definitely recommend them to friends

I stopped by for body jewelry, specifically nose rings. I bought 2 16g silver ones, the stud was $25 and the round one $20. Body jewelry is non refundable and the piercer comes in later in the day. So if you want to be pierced or need help figuring out the jewelry size you want, best to call ahead to know what time to show up. Otherwise place is easy to find, clean inside, the employee who helped me was great, wide selection. Easy enough, would return.

Got my septum done there, great job! Love it. $60. But couldnt get snake bites, guess they cost about $120 out the door. Wasnt looking to spend. $180 for a septum and snake bites.Other then that, great piercer. 👍🏻

The vibes here are phenomenal 👌🙌🏽 I just gotta say Steven has been amazing ! He’s very professional and chill at the same time ! Was very satisfied with the piercings we got ! He made us feel comfortable at all times ! Definitely recommend this spot for piercings I haven’t got a tattoo yet but I would probably get one soon 👍

I do not recommend this place.I went in to change my nose stud to a nose ring. The artist, KB, did not do a good job. He damaged the jewelry when he tried to close the ring on my nose, leaving tool markings on the jewelry from overclamping.More importantly, he did not close the ring properly in my nose. See picture.Also, he dropped my piercing on the ground and after he picked it up, didnt change or clean his hands. I had to ask him to change his gloves.

Absolutely love the staff and shop atmosphere.The artists are fabulous, definitely recommend Rob. He has done half the tattoos I have and I will not go to anyone else. He has a very light touch, does extremely clean line work, and takes an idea you have and turns it into a beautiful piece of artwork that will last a lifetime. He also manages time very well, when he says 30 minutes more then well be done he means it.

Came to Metropolis with my cousin to get our noses pierced. The piercing guy was the coolest and smoothest guy ever! He was very knowledgeable and made our experience a great one. He also had alot of cool piercings himself. We will definitely be going to him for our future piercings.

I went in for a Septum piercing, and Steven did a great job. He explained what he was doing as he did it, which helped with my nerves, and he was quick and professional. If I get another piercing, itll definitely be here.

Awesome place. Six tattoos and 3 piercings later I have not a single complaint. High quality tattoos with some of the best prices in North Park. The joint is clean and the staff/artists are too and professional.

I called and they told me $50 to change my cheek piercings $10 service fee and $30 to change them. when I got there she just kept raising the price and said the most they would charge is $80 for the longer bars (which is still too much but I just wanted to get it over with so I said sure.) They ended up taking like an hour and charged me over $100 literally cost more then getting them actually pierced. she has the audacity to say “I gave you a $10 discount” 💀 save your money and go somewhere else.

Eddie was amazing. I waited an hr to get my industrial piercing but he did such an awesome job that it didnt even bother me. Thanks for an awesome experience!

I Got two full sleeves here .Artists are awesome and the peircing ladies are soooo CUTIE😙! Likely the most afordable place in North Park great location and shop is very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend it. I been a regular now since 2015.

I got my septum pierced here as well as an industrial and helix piercing. Steven was my piecer and he was great. Very professional and getting pierced barely hurt at all. If i ever get another piercing itll be there.

Steven was very nice. Went to get my helix pierced he made me feel confortable since I was nervous explain everything to me and super fast no pain at all . Totally recommend it .

The piercer wasnt that friendly, but he gave useful tips and got the piercing done quick!

They need more work on septum pierci g the messed up two times in a row and i guarantee if i tried the third time it would have still been off centered, i went to superfly and they had more precise equipmemt and made it simple and easy plus it was perfectly centered and everything first try.

Need piercings? Go to Steven ! He is the absolute best . Very knowledgeable and thorough . Hes who I want to do the the rest of my piercings . Great experience from Steven all around!

The piercer, Jessica has the worst customer service skills ever. She does not care to talk to you while your laying on this bed about to get pierced. Just rude all together.
