Over the past two years, my experience with Removery has exceeded all expectations. I started at the San Jose location and seamlessly transitioned to San Diego, and every session has been friendly, fast, and efficient. I love how I’m in and out in under 20 minutes each time. A special thanks to Sarah, who has made the entire process much more manageable. If you’re considering starting your journey, I highly recommend doing it sooner rather than later!

I’ve had four sessions done at the Clairemont Mesa location and they have a great team. The consultation was very in depth which I appreciated. Sarah has been the one to do my session each time and she made it as comfortable as a tattoo removal can be! My tattoo has faded dramatically. I am moving away but if I’m ever back and still need removal I’ll be coming back to this location.

The team was great in answering my excessive questions! The pricing was clear and direct and I was walked through what each step of the process would look like. I just completed my first session and was grateful with the tech, Disney, coming up with a gameplan together with me. I would hope these reps are rewarded and recognized for their service in as many ways as possible as they were an excellent representation and reflection of the brand.

I’ve been going here a few months to get some pieces removed and have had great experiences so far. My favorite locations are Oceanside and Chula Vista. The staff at both have been so warm and welcoming, and do their best to make you feel comfortable. My tattoos are also slowly fading which is still mind blowing haha

I just went in for my first tattoo removal session. They were very professional and answered all my questions. They explained the whole process to me in depth. They were even able to squeeze me in with the laser right after my consultation. I am very impressed.

Yes, it’s expensive, but TOTALLY WORTH IT. You pay what you get, and in this case, you get top treatments and service. Disney is very professional and makes the treatment goes faster. He answers all the questions and is very friendly. I’m on my second session and I already see results.

I was really… extremely hesitant to start the tattoo removal process because of “old” technology and because the Removery website didn’t have any good examples with solid before pictures on darker skin. I am SOOO glad I decided to take the leap of faith because my results have far beyond exceeded my expectations. My tech Sarah is THE BEST I got really lucky with her and my results are worth the pain and time it takes to get my tattoo completely gone. I attached a photo of a tattoo I’m removing since 2023 which I got done in 2019 and and now almost a year into the process.

I really did not think some of my tattoos would ever go away but I looked down one day and sure enough, they were gone! Sarah is amazing and always so sweet. I looking forward to seeing her at my appts always!

Please don’t go here. It’s a total sales job as soon as you walk in the door. For an extra small wedding ring tattoo, they wanted to charge me $1,300! More than twice what I was quoted at Evolve Tattoo Removal.

Both Erin and Disney are amazing. Erin knows I need a slight distraction during the laser treatment so she is really great at that. Definitely happy to finally be getting rid of this tattoo that I have hated for years.

Here is an update on my laser tattoo removal, its getting so much lighter compared to my very fist session. I believe this was my 4th session on this particular side, I would say it’s taking more just because it’s thick line work and there is more pigment deposited in that area then if it would have been shading- that would definitely be gone by now so it all just depends on what you are removing the results you are going to get. I’ve experienced blistering one time when we went a level higher I believe, if any of this happens I would recommend you do not pop the blisters and let your body heal them. I healed just fine with no scarring. I like Removery I definitely would recommend this place over all, I tried other places where I did 7 sessions and no results.

The establishment at Clairemont Mesa had a comfortable atmosphere, and the employees were courteous and respectful. I was particularly impressed by Disneys sincerity. Disney was upfront about the fact that my tattoo might not be entirely removable due to the previous inks color, a level of honesty which I greatly appreciated. Its this sort of communication, rather than unrealistic promises, that can prevent potential customer disappointments. By setting expectations from the outset, the decision to proceed is placed on the hands of the client. Their professionalism was commendable, and I would strongly endorse their services.

I’m currently still receiving treatment at Removery Claremont Mesa Blvd San Diego location. I’ve had 2 rounds on my whole hand tattoos with color and several rounds on my brows for some old micro shading I was never happy with. The brows are very light orange at the moment. Easy to cover with concealer everyday until they’re gone.Removery cannot guarantee full removal with permanent makeup, but so far my results are great. The clinic is very clean. The techs are all nice. I chose to move forward with Disney who’s an RN. He makes me feel very comfortable. His procedures are quick. He knows everything about tattoo removal. He does full body removals from time to time. I can only tolerate pain for a hand space at a time.Little by little my tattoo is fading. Much better than doing a cover up or blackout which I’ve already done on my neck and arm. If I knew how easy tattoo removal was, I would have done this a long time ago. Instead of doing large painful and darker cover ups. Keep in mind, you should be healthy and have good healthy skin with no infections before considering removal. Make sure you discuss what prescriptions and supplements you’re taking with your tech because all that makes a difference in your processing the ink out of your body safely.I chose Removery near where I live because they have the highest technology for tattoo removal available which is Picosure laser. Removery also requires the techs have a nursing license. The prices aren’t cheap but they do run sales once or twice a year during the holidays which is nice. Remember, your health and body are more important than anything.Going the extra mile and doing your research is most important for your health. Removery does free consultations so check them out first if you want to shop around. Honestly, I already did all the shopping around for you so if you chose here, you’re in the right place.When I’m done with the treatment I’ll update my review.

I had my initial consultation and my first treatment with Disney. He was very honest and realistic about what results we could get and he seemed very detail oriented with treatment process. I am stoked that they now have locations all over California and feel that I am in good hands with this San Diego location for years to come. I have worked with another clinic in west Seattle and had negative experiences. I first started treatment with removery in Chicago years ago and had a very good experience. If I have to guess I think removery is probably one of the best tatoo removal companies in the country.

I always have a great experience at this location for my tattoo removal. Everyone on staff is friendly and professional. I have regularly been seeing Sara for my removals and she is the best! She’s super friendly and makes the process a lot more enjoyable, as laser removal can sometimes be an uncomfortable experience. I used to be nervous to go in, but now I enjoy going in for my sessions! The staff and environment makes it all the better. Would recommend going here if you need tattoo removal! I’ve already seen a LOT of fading from my tattoos!

Ive only had one treatment so far, but its looking better already. The staff are all kind and personable. The facility is incredibly clean. The process (while a tad painful) was super quick (less than 30 seconds for me). Ill recommend this place to anyone and everyone considering tattoo removal.

I rarely ever write reviews but I had such a great experience. Frazier is so friendly and made me feel comfortable during the consultation. He offered me water, was honest and told me that some of the tattoos I wanted removed would not be able to be fully removed due to the pigment and my skin type. After deciding to go through with the one tattoo they would be able to remove, he walked me through the payment plan and made sure I understood what I was signing up for. I was able to get $100 off my total for committing the same day and even had my first session. Disney has such a great reputation and I was lucky to have my first session with him. I was given cold air to blow on my tattoo before and during the removal. The laser was less painful than getting the tattoo in my opinion. Glad I went with Removery and looking forward to my sessions!

I’ve just started my treatment here and today was my second session with Disney. Super professional and helpful staff! I did a lot of research before making a decision and I’m happy with my choice. The technology is superior and my unlimited treatment package is affordable compared to the competition. I’m feeling hopeful and really look forward to seeing results. The staff were great. I had a consultation with Frazier; he was very friendly and explained all of the information thoroughly, he gave me an excellent deal too. Disney was the nurse who performed the lasering; he made sure the process went quickly and communicated with me the entire time.Update: I came back for my second time and the staff continue to make the experience wonderful. The woman, Jazz, at the front desk greeted me as soon as I entered and nurse Sarah took care of my treatment. This team is amazing. Super friendly staff and I saw results after my first visit. I just had my 2nd appointment and same great experience as the first visit. The office is clean and my appointment was right on time. Was kind of nervous at first when I started the process of course I was concerned about the financial end of it but my consultant Frazier helped with different payment options. Absolutely Hands Down clean facility, the staff starting with Kylie makes you feel welcomed when walking in the door. Nurse Sheila and Disney are awesome. They prepare you for it ,they clean the area ice it then they let you know you when theyre getting ready to start the treatment. If you are having a tattoo removed and youre undecided about it go on in there talk to them and they will get you taken care of. At first I thought it was not going to work but results vary depending on your skin type the type of ink and how well you heal. You have to adhere to their instructions for healing. Keep it cleaned keep it out of the Sun, and use the cream provided. Once again big shout-out to all of the staff everybody there is awesome and I appreciate you.

I’ve been removing a large chest tattoo. And I have 2 more included in my payment plan that I will get unlimited treatments on even after I’m done paying which is great. The staff is really kind and knowledgeable, they have ice packs and squishy balls if needed. Very professional setting 10/10 would recommend!

Hi everyone! I went in for my free consultation at Removery and everything was really professional, open, and honest. During the consultation they gave me my price and time estimation of visits required to remove my tattoo. Unfortunately the colors I have to deal with are more difficult to extract because of the pigment and my skin type. Staff said they could do their best but cant make any guarantees in my case, I am so thankful for their transparency and I am still debating on getting my procedure in the future.

Awesome team that works here! They are all very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable on what they do. This review is long overdue as I’ve had 4 treatments now and they have all gone very well and I look forward to more! Scheduling/re-scheduling and reminders for appointments all have been extremely painless and quick. Treatments have been more effective than I could have believed with their high-end laser and well-trained techs/nurses and they are a no-brainer when it comes to prices as well!

Removery staff should make their costumers fully aware they will suffer a 2nd degree burn specific to the tattoo area, with blisters, swelling of a larger body area, intense pain, and symptoms that may last few weeks. If I had been made fully aware of the treatment side-effects, I would not have submitted myself to such experience. It is not enough to make people sign disclaimers without providing a clear explanation of the treatments side-effects.

Great staff and smooth process. Walked right in for my appointment and was sent straight back to get my treatment done. The staff always makes sure to put your comfort first and uses a steady hand when apply the laser. 10/10 would recommend!

I’ve been going here since 2018 when I got my first treatment and they were under a different name. The results are legit and speak for themselves. 2 out of 4 tattoos completely gone, the other 2 almost gone. But the best part about this office is the staff. They are consistently very nice and great to work with. They keep things personal (rather than treat you like just another patient). They remember your name, your likes, your conversations, etc. It’s very pleasant. That kind of consistency and attention over a long period is very rare, no matter the line of business. They’re doing something (a lot off things) right at Removery SD. I’m happy to recommend them. If you’re thinking about removal, I think they deserve your serious consideration.

I set up a consult and was at their Kearny mesa location within the hour or so to go over pricing options, general information about the treatment, pre and post care, etc and received my first treatment as well. It was easy, quick, and only a bit painful. (Keep in mind, they don’t use numbing cream. Only icing) so if you are low pain tolerance make sure to do this on your own prior to treatment. Removery is amazing. Everyone that works there is friendly and helpful. The reason I came to removery was because I got a tattoo when I turned 18 in 2019 that I immediately regretted and went home and cried about. The staff member who helped me out during my consultation was very helpful. She understood that I was a young adult who doesn’t make too much money but really needed help fixing a mistake I made. Since my tattoo was such fresh ink (Less than 8 months had passed since I got the tattoo) she was honest with me about the length of sessions. So, I took a leap of faith deciding to start the removal. I’m 12 sessions in after my first appointment in September 2020 and my tattoo is nearly faded! I can’t believe how much progress I have seen. I was afraid that it would never budge but TRUST THE PROCESS!!

I can’t speak much for Removery yet as my services were paid for through a company they bought out. I gave it a try because Disney, the nurse, has done right by me and I wanted to follow him. I actually drive 2.5 hours just to go to him. I started my removal in Chicago and they did everything they could to just prolong the removal because I paid by the visit. When I found Disney, he just did a great job. My tattoo lightened more in 5 sessions with him than it did in 10 with the last place (not exaggerating, I have pics). Disney knows what he is doing, is fast, keeps everything clean, and he’s super nice. I have a few more sessions to go and I just hope this new place knows what they have so they pay him well and are nice to him.

They bought out the laser removal place I was going to and honored the unlimited package I was in. Everyone is super nice and there is no pressure or salesy type people. Very chill and a nice take it or leave it approach. I will say they are way, way, cheaper than most places so at the very least get a quote. The more stuff you get done, the more they will work with you on price too. 10/10. Last and maybe most importantly, the results are awesome. I have a full color sleeve that is almost completely gone after about 8 session. The keep the laser strong enough to make progress but dont blast you so no scarring, for me at least. I recommend.

Just went in for my consultation and it ended up being my first laser appointment and I could not be happier with the process! I wish I remembered the names of those who helped me (I will come back and add after my next appt) because they were so amazing and helpful and genuinely care about your experience with the process! I ended up with a payment plan that was perfect for me and was able to go through with my first appt which was so quick and not too bad feeling! I would recommend this place to everyone.

Facility is clean. Staff is super helpful and friendly.I have a back mural pretty much covering my whole back and it takes less than 15 minutes a session. Definitely recommend starting your removal of any tattoos that are no longer desired.

Ive been to 3 different places for tattoo removal, including a licensed dermatologist. The diligence and care at recovery is unsurpassed and the prices are more than reasonable. Certainly the most cost effective place I have been.The main thing I like about Recovery is they take their time and work with you during your session. Other places would try to just bang out as much as they can as fast as they can and that can be excruciating.If you have the money and your ink is really saturated and/or in a sensitive spot, Id may recommend going to a dermatologist first because they can give lidocaine injections to manage pain for aggressive treatment.

Out of the 20-25 times I’ve called to talk to the Kearney Mesa office I have not been able to get through to a person. I am not understanding why they are unable to be reached, outside of driving to the office to talk to someone regarding treatment questions or needing to reschedule. Highly do not recommend this company.

I had my first appointment yesterday with San Diego Laser Tattoo Removal. I saw Disney and he was great, very quick and efficient but also took the time to answer all my questions and explain the procedure. He was friendly and professional and put me at ease. I think he was running a little behind schedule (no complaint, it happens and I certainly didnt feel like I was kept waiting) but he still took time to talk with me and didnt rush. I like that their Instagram is full of realistic progress pictures so I knew what to expect, and they were very upfront about their pricing. A few other clinics I contacted seemed reluctant to just give me a quote. The removal itself doesnt feel great, but Disney was fast, offered breaks, and kept me posted of how much was done. Thanks!

Followed Disney over here and always happy with my sessions. This laser isnt as snappy as the one at the old location (on Activity). This was my 6th session and my stupid mistake of almost 40 years ago is about gone! It was super colored in and not easy to get out...I bought a few more sessions to be super-sure it is as gone as possible. This location is a easy to get to and plenty of parking too! The staff were nice and I LOVE ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ the reminder texts and emails! The office is super clean and all around great vibe!

I’ve been a client of SD laser tattoo removal for years. Two tattoos are gone and the third is practically a ghost. This was my first time at Removery, after it acquired SDLTR. I called on Thursday and scored the next Saturday appointment-luck of the draw. The location is super convenient-in between the 805 and 163 on Clairemont Mesa-not far from the old SDLTR office. I got to see Disney again-so the trust factor was super high-he’s been performing my treatments since I started. Always as much talking with him as it is getting one step closer to having these aged tattoos erased. The new digs at Removery are super clean as you’d expect, and have a cool hip aesthetic and with newer, even more modern machines too. Everyone who I’d never met before was very nice too. Easy parking (big plus for me) and at least 4 restaurants next door I want to try :) definitely recommend.

The staff is friendly, and welcoming. I’ve read some reviews about the treatment pain. It’s not bad, kind of like snapping a rubber band on your skin. Certainly not as bad as getting the tattoo.

This place was very professional and polite. Unfortunately they were unable to help me the only reason why I’m giving them four stars is because I explained the services that I needed / my situation over the phone before booking the consultation and once I showed up and met with somebody they told me that they were not able to provide those types of services. If I would’ve known this I would have not booked a consultation.Essentially, If you have both tattoo ink and micro blade permanent makeup ink in the same area they will not be able to work with you. Overall they were kind and explained why they weren’t able to provide me service which gave me more insight of how I should proceed. Thankyou for the advice.

I am so happy that I found San Diego Laser Tattoo Removal! I tried another company a couple of years back in Westminster. I was so discouraged by the process and the price that I never went back. I thought that all tattoo removal companies would be the same, so I just delayed the process. Well, they are not all the same! San Diego Laser Tattoo Removal is NOT a high volume place, so you get great one on one care. No one wants to spend money on something like this and SDLTR has competitive pricing. Definitely affordable. I cant say the treatment is painless, but they make it as fast and as comfortable as possible. My treatment was under 10 minutes. Thats doable considering I sat for 3 hours getting the horrific tattoo. I was worried Id be driving forever but, their location is only 45 minutes away from Temecula. Totally worth a little drive. Im a loyal client until this terrible tattoo is gone! Thank you San Diego Laser Tattoo Removal!!!!

Ok Disney is seriously the best!! I absolutely dread coming to these appointments but Disney really takes care of me. He is super friendly, patient, and understanding which actually makes it a good experience.

I cant put in words on how amazing this place is. I just did my first session for a tattoo removal and the laser specialist is absolutely amazing. The staff here is so amazing they make you feel like family. I would recommend to anyone who has any regrets on a tattoo.

I drove from Orange County to this place and boy let me tell you the owner is very nice he gives you the bottom line of the treatment that u need and pricing wise there is absolutely no way you can’t find another place like that will match their pricing. Other places wanted 600$ a treatment and these guys did my job for way cheaper. Also the nurse that did my tattoo is really nice and knows what he’s doing. I trusted him with my head tatto removal and also my arm tattoo removal and he exceeded my expectation. Over all that’s the business u should trust with something serious like removing your tattoo. Oh not to forget honesty honesty and honesty again. I simply love these guys. Thanks for opening your doors and helping others removing that permanent ink.

All I can say is, WOW! After so many attempts at a different location for a tattoo removal I went here once and it is almost gone. Even with Blue ink! They have a great numbing system, didnt hurt at all. The communication is great here as well.

Great place! been coming here over a year now …starting August 4, 2021…still have a long way to go, staff are very nice and enjoying seeing them every few weeks or so …special with Disney! he’s excellent

I’d been following them forever on Instagram before finally biting the bullet and driving down from Orange County for my first session. Marcy was super nice and answered my million questions honestly. My first session was quick and thank goodness the package presented to me is affordable. Can’t wait to post the before and completely gone after photos.

Love this place, clean, staff is awesome from starting point all the way thru back office, katy is amazing, had my 1st removal session today with Disney great experience hope my tattoo finally disappears. Praying it will.

Very nice people, clean facility. The custom fragrance got my allergies flared up almost immediately and I had to leave. Otherwise, Id be on it.

These guys have great technology, expert staff and friendly leadership. Go see my guy Frazier in the San Diego Office and get that regretful tattoo zapped off your body for good. Highly reccommend these guys after not so great experiences with their competitors.
