I had an outstanding experience with Isaac. He responded fast when I first inquired about an appointment and design. He came up with a great design. I was able to get an appointment much sooner than I thought. Isaac is friendly and puts 100% into his work. The shop itself was comfortable and had snacks and juice. It was a great experience and worth the money!

This is one of the most talented studios in San Diego with actual tattoo ARTISTS! They go by appointments and are normally booked 1-10 months out depending on the artist, but for a piece that is going to be on your body for the rest of your life its worth it. I got lucky by following my favorite artists on Instagram I was able to get in earlier due to a cancelation.Ill post some photos of the shop and my current tattoo: its going to be full color when we finish it.The place is very clean and everyone was very friendly. They even gave me a free t-shirt to give to my 3 year old daughter! These guys are definitely in the top 5% of tattoo artists in terms of skill and talent. Ive definitely found my tattoo shop for life! Do yourself a favor and come here - youll never regret it.

Marty was amazing. He was able to cover up a bad tattoo we had from an artist in another state and also did a couple of new tattoos. He was incredibly patient while we decided, knowing it’s a big decision. He was incredibly helpful and he did an amazing job. We could not be happier. The blurry numbers on the wrist is the one he beautifully covered and fixed. The other ones are brand new. He is a wonderful artist. I would never go anywhere else after this experience.

Great artists, the after care kit was helpful as well as TSA friendly, which I wish more shops had. My piece healed up nicely and will definitely stop in again next time.im down for a convention.

Ive wanted this piece for a few years now, I was just rarely in the area. While volunteering at a charity event down the road, I decided to be impulsive. I called the shop knowing there was a good possibility that such a reputable parlor might not have walk-in availability. Luckily, mine and Martys schedule worked together perfectly. I showed him what I wanted, and he knew itd be no problem whatsoever. I was in and out in two and a half hours max. Im so incredibly stoked with this piece and cannot wait for it to be fully healed. Highly recommend Bearcat Tattoo Gallery. Marty and everyone else Im there are super talented and I think itd be nearly impossible to receive anything less than a great tattoo from any of them 🤙🏼

Ive gotten two tattoos at Bearcat, both by Jeff, and they have been fantastic experiences all around! The studio is clean, staff are friendly and excellent tattooers and artists. Its a really cute location too, and parking (street only) isnt usually that bad.

Bearcat is staffed by incredibly talented and kind artists. I got my second tattoo by Jeff done in August and I am still obsessed with it and the tattoo he did for me in 2021! This studio has a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere and the artists really make sure you are comfortable and taken care of. I will definitely be returning to Bearcat!

Extremely lucky to have found this place! After doing a ton of research because I moved here from NH, I needed to find a good place that truly works with its clients. Bearcat has such a cool vibe and the people there are all very professional and laid back. Sierra did amazing job on my Koi and the whole experience exceeded my expectations. This place sets the bar high and that fact that every artist there has such a good portfolio speaks volumes on how Bearcat likes to operate. I get compliments on my piece almost everyday when I’m out and about.Do yourself a favor and check this place out if you’re reading this.

Got this vibrant Chargers piece done by Bruce Becerra (Busy_Bruce on Instagram). He’s a chill dude to talk to which made the time go quick. I also appreciate that he’s not heavy-handed, making the experience hurt much less than my previous tattoos. I highly recommend him if you’re looking for a great piece.

Isaac worked with me on a chest piece that took a few years due to pandemic and a move that I made from San Diego. He did a phenomenal job on the art and tattoo and I look forward to when I can get back in Isaac’s chair for future work. The team at Bearcat are super welcoming and professional. My tattoo artist was Marty-Boe and he was AMAZING! My tattoo came out way better than I could imagine and now all my other tattoos look bad...lol. He kept me talking and comfortable the entire time. I will be returning for me work.

I couldn’t recommend BearCat enough! Everyone was beyond nice, they listened and had my boyfriend quadrouble check the dates on his tattoo to make sure, and when I got mine, I (embarrassingly) passed out. They were so kind and understanding and made sure I was ok to continue on when I was ok again, and sent us home with some goodies and snacks. Bruce was our artist and he did a wonderful job on my two headed calf, and my boyfriends memorial tattoo. Thank you!

My artist was Isaac, he did a full sleeve sea life tattoo and he was amazing so realistic 🤩 If you are looking for clean, professional shop with loads of talent this shop is what you are looking for. Best shop in San Diego!

One of the best shops in San Diego! Sierra has brought together an amazing variety of high level artistic talent and skills, all under one roof. Every artist is absolutely worth the price! I’ve had three separate pieces done at this shop and each time I was incredibly happy with the results. I’ve had work done by Matt Heinz and Marty Boe and they are both very professional, detailed, creative, and thorough with their work. This shop is always super clean and organized, and I’ve always felt comfortable and relaxed whenever I’ve come in for an appointment. This is a GREAT shop to take your general idea to and let the artist come up with their own design, or bring to life a big project piece you’ve always wanted.

My artist was Bruce. He did a great job in communicating during the entire process and gave me advice on location and orientationThe session was about 2 hours. His color work is great!

Great tattoo shop!!! The whole staff there is very professional and talented. I got my tattoo from Bruce but from what Ive seen, every single artist there is amazing in there own right. Although, I do recommend doing your homework on each one before going to them about what you want because each artist has there own style. Mines ended up taking a few hours and costed me about $600 which included the deposit I put down which is not as much as I thought tbh. All in all, I highly recommend this shop ☝️

From day one, the Bearcat Team took care of me. The atmosphere, professionalism, and care was the best Ive ever seen. You can 100% see that the owner cares about how his shop is run and the artists professional growth.Tyler knocked out my sleeve in about 6 months. Dude was a beast. His concepts and art were amazing. Thanks man for all the hard work and long hours.I can not stress this enough...these guys are worth the wait. Dont go anywhere else in San Diego.

Matt Heinz did my daughters first tattoo. He was above and beyond clean. Very talented and skilled. Loved his work so much that my husband went and got one from Matt. Loved that as well. Very nice, clean and professional place in Little Italy.

This was hands down the best tattoo experience/ tattoo of my life. Marty Boe is extremely talented and everyone else i met there was a delight. Cant wait to go back

The three stars isn’t for the shop itself but for the artist isaac. He was very stand off ish and didn’t seem to have time for any small talk, I definitely didn’t feel very welcome. I gave him a sketch of what I wanted and half way through I looked at it and I was shocked that it was a lot darker than we had talked about (and what he drew). Luckily the second half wasn’t as bad but I left the shop with tears in my eyes because of how off the tattoo was and he did not care one bit.

Best tattoo experience Ive ever had. Getting a tattoo at Bearcat, by Sierra or any of the artists there, is a privilege.

I asked for a consultation from Nate, 3 separate times. I emailed the shop 2 times and got a reply from Sierra both times saying they would tell Nate. It’s been a month with no reply. I guess they don’t want or need business, go somewhere else if you want a reply. I will specify that Sierra, did in fact tell Nate. Nate however does not care.
