I’ve really lucked out on finding cosmetic artists in San Diego and Samara is by far top of the list. I met Samara 3 years ago and originally had her do a cover up. Her kindness and explanation of the process made me feel so comfortable. She listened to what I had to say and focused on the parts of my brows she knew I didn’t like.After the first session they were shaped perfect. Like perfect. And completely exceeded my OCD standards. I really couldn’t stop staring at myself in the mirror.Since, I’ve followed Samara to her new shop at Cry Baby and Honey Brows and watched her focus on being the best for her clients. Her constant drive be better at her practice while being an all around great human is inspiring.I will forever recommend Cry Baby, Honey Brows & Samara.

Samara is amazing at what she does!!! Before I had my first appointment with her, I was incredibly self conscious about my eyebrows. I couldn’t leave the house without putting makeup on. My first appointment with Samara was great, she is probably one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. I was honestly amazed at how natural my brows looked once she was done. They turned out way better than I expected. I was obsessed, and I immediately felt 100x better about myself. Since my first appointment I’ve had 2 or 3 touch ups, and my brows still look amazing. I honestly find myself checking my eyebrows out every time there’s a mirror around lol. If you’re thinking about getting this procedure done, please book with Samara! I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Samara did such a great job with my eyebrows! She was very kind through the whole process. Her communication skills are great and she really listened to what i wanted for my brows. i’m so happy with how my eyebrows came out. She did an amazing job- I feel so much more confident without make up now. I’d definitely recommend her.

I have always been self conscious about my eyebrows. I hated their shape, their lack of density, and the way the hairs grew in all different directions. I have been going here for years for my brows and lip blush and recommend constantly (get a lot of compliments). Services are customized to your skin type, coloring, and style preference. This isnt a one style fits all. I wouldnt trust my face with anyone else. Samara is exceptional in her art and happens to also be a wonderful human.

I had a fantastic experience at Honey! Samara was super warm and welcoming. I was nervous for my first cosmetic tattoo but she made the process smooth and memorable. Her pre and post care documents were thorough and helpful, she makes sure you understand the process in detail, she’s clear about expectations, and overall creates a really special experience. It’s clear she really cares about her clients!

Samara is a magician. My brows have always been super sparse and one has a lot of scar tissue and she was able to make them look SO good and natural. I haven’t filled my brows in in years thanks to this actual angel and am so much more confident. Not to mention she is he nicest and most fun to hang out with.

Not only are my eyebrows fluffy and full, she matched my color perfectly. I never have to worry about how I fill them in anymore with my shaky hands and it truly saves me so much time and relieves so much anxiety. Samara and her crew are some of the nicest and most easy going people I have had the pleasure of meeting. Never a dull moment in there and I felt like I made a friend! Honey Cosmetic Tattoo Studio is the only place I trust with my face.I was recommended to this place from a friend of mine after Ive seen what they did to her brows. Honey Cosmetic Tattoo Studio is a lovely place located in North Park, San Diego. I had the pleasure of meeting with Samara who would be the one doing my brows.She was AMAZING! You could tell that she was passionate about her craft and it showed. It shows in her work, how she treats her clients, and the people in the shop. She walked me through the entire process. She made recommendations based on my skin color and face shape. At the end of the whole process, I was more than satisfied. She did a great job and it showed by the numerous compliments I got from strangers and colleagues at work.I wouldnt go anywhere else.

If only I had gone here first! I had bad microblading done several years ago. The color, shape, lines - all horrible. Samara fixed it! I had 4-5 brow removal sessions and then 2 visits where she color corrected them, reshaped them, and magically was able to erase all signs of wonky lines! I still have probably one more touch up session next year. It’s been a long process but it’s obvious Samara knows what she’s doing and is invested in making my brows look the best they can so I’m patient and will never trust anyone else to do any kind of permanent makeup. 10/10 definitely recommend.

Samara is such an incredible artist and helped me feel at home right off the bat. It was my first time doing any kind of cosmetic work like this and she explained everything to me, including how my skin was reacting during each step of having my brows done. I am very pleased with how my brows are looking even after just the first treatment. She was so precise, I can’t wait to see how they look after my second treatment. I’m so happy, I’ve been telling everyone to consider seeing samara if they are curious about microblading or nano brows. And I definitely plan to come back after for lip blushing! Samara “Honey” is the best!! I’ve had my eyebrows microbladed by her, (over a year healed) lip blush, AND one session on my water line eyeliner aka lash enhancement. The whole time for every service I felt super comfortable and informed. Samara made sure I was involved in the decision making but also was so professional and informative in why she was doing certain things. I get compliments on my brows so much every day, I don’t even know how to act. Also my lips were literally the color of my skin and now I don’t look like a dead victorian ghost child. I’ve always struggled with being a lazy gal who also doesn’t want to look like garbage all the time, and now that the majority of my face has permanent makeup, I can say I’m lazy gal who doesn’t look like garbage all the time! Everything is so natural looking but also just enough pop to feel like I’ve got it goin on.The shop is adorable, the environment is super clean and comfortable, everyone is so nice and welcoming. I’ve sent so many friends and strangers to go see her because she’s so amazing.15/10(photo with braids I did fill in some hair strokes with makeup for a bolder look that night, but other photos have no makeup! Just PMU!)

Samara is amazing! She does a great job and is so personable and funny. She makes you feel very relaxed and asks your inout throughout the procedure. Highly recommend for any permanent makeup procedures!
