The experience at Kt dragon is great this is my second piece from them. My first was by Tony he did a great job on my cover up and I still have work to get done with him my second piece was by Corey. Corey was very professional and he worked quick on the outline. He was great with his art, free hand a lot of the details and it came out amazing. We got through all of the outline and I will be back in a few weeks to continue the piece. Highly recommend the shop.
Absolutely phenomenal artist! I traveled from one coast to the other to have the opportunity to have Tommy use his talents on me. Im very happy with the piece he did and cant wait for the next piece. Hopefully he comes up to Seattle for the next Expo thats in town, so we begin the next project!
Friday the 13th tattoo experience was insane. A good type of insane. Showed up at 4pm after work and put my name in, #134 and they had 5 artists working. Come 8pm they were on #60s and downt to 4 artists. Come 12:30am I had a flash behind my ear. Great artists, kind staff, communication was easy and straightforward. Honestly for what is was worth I was impressed on the overall vibe and experience.
Very happy with the work done here with KT, The culture, The continuous compliments I receive, as well as the world wide underrated recognition this shop gets. Some of the reviews seem fake. If you cant pay the ticket go get a cheap tattoo somewhere else but if you want the best work for traditional Japanese art this is the spot. I shopped for a Dragon tattoo for a couple of years and this is where I landed. Would recommend and will get more.
Happy with my sisters results 10/10 job
Overconfident, Incompetent, Expensive. Unlike some other reviews on here, I really regret that Davis had answered when I had called looking for a quality job for my seventh tattoo. A friend had gotten some work from Tommy (the shop owner) and had highly recommend this place. I asked Davis if Tommy was available to do my piece, and he said that he was booked for the next two years. Ironically, I was familiar with some of Daviss previous work, and was actually considering him for a different future full back dragon piece (which will be several thousand dollars). I had already spoken with other artists about my design, and thought maybe some details would be lost and accepted that risk. And before we started, I confirmed with Davis directly that he was all good with the details. After reading the glowing reviews for Davis on here, I assumed he would be the guy to finally give me my text necklace piece, a simple $300-$400 job. Sadly the job was just to much for him. The end result was the worst possible tattoo that I could have gotten, something youd only have had a nightmare getting (which unfortunately is very real for me now). First, he applied the stencil several times, and it still ended up; off center and higher on one side. Of course I looked at it, and through all the smears of his previous attempts accepted he had finally gotten it right, but sadly I was wrong. We started at 1pm and I endured three hours of his shaky painful handiwork. I was hoping to not see his many obvious mistakes. He didnt even use the artwork as a stencil instead he free handed the interior text detail. Several of the letters have mismatched patterns and dont line up or just look very poorly done. He repeated told others in the shop while he was working on me that hed had little to no sleep the night before because he drank a Redbull energy drink or something. His outline work was shaky, and I had suspected hed been out late the previous night. The tattoo looks like a rookie artist applied it, or worse. I could tell when Davis was finished he was disappointed in his own work, it was very clear by the look on his face, he knew. Of course Davis offered to do a retouch for free. But honestly would you go back to someone who had so badly botched his previous attempt and had already inflicted 3 hours on you? And this is the part I just dont understand, I told Davis I would be going to the Tattoo Expo the following weekend and wanted to show off his work to others. I can only imagine what sorta response Ill get from Daviss peers when they see his handiwork. I was hoping to get a top quality piece that would showcase some of Daviss work, instead I am very very disappointed now that I have a tattoo from him that I will need to have removed or heavily retouched. Consider the many other options for tattoo artists in the area before going to him. I guess the good news is that he didnt ruin my entire back and now I can spend that money fixing his mistakes on my chest.
David or davis was kool when i first spoke to him but once he gets your money he just takes extra breaks and stops to speak to other clients while i paid, once my time was up obiously he took so much time he didnt finish so then he made me run to the bank to bring him more money so he can do more which wasnt even noticeable. I spent 700 on a tattoo that was not even half way done. I hated my tattoo for the last 3 years now i have to finish it but he wont give me my deposit back. So now i have to spend more money on finishing my tattoo. I cant believe he wont give me my deposit. Plus they are dirty i seen a roach at the front desk. Dont waist your money and time with these guys!
Cory did a great job.ill be back for something better project than a flash tattoo. be well.cheers.
