I went to get a nose stud and some earrings, and the guy who I assumed was the piercer on site sold me the wrong size nose stud, it wasn’t even the right length I requested. I called back and asked if there was any way I can get a new one and they said I could only get a discount. Only reason I’m giving them a two star is because the earrings were nice 🤣. If youre someone who doesn’t know a lot about piercings like me I wouldn’t recommend them.

Got my first professional tattoo here over 20 years ago. Rafael has been hooking it for years. I just took daughter to get a tattoo. It came out great as expected, she loves it. Top Notch crew, skill and location. Everyone is friendly and helpful.

I feel fortunate to meet Amanda who did my 1st ever ink in memory of Remy. She was patient and caring about my experience. She offered breaks to make sure the experience was not painful. This was my 2nd trip since on Monday the shop was too busy.

Got a piercing from Adrian and he was funny and made it very easy to forget about the pain when he did it. Was gentle and made good conversation. Quick and good customer care. Very clean and provided after care instructions. Did not have an appointment and was able to see me same day. Clean, careful and comfortable place to get a piercing at a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

I’ve had all my piercings done by Kholay, he is seriously so awesome. I take all my friends to him because of how amazing his work is. He has a very calm and cool voice, and he’s so nice and funny which is something you don’t find in a lot of piercers. Plus, his piercings are soooo painless and quick, he definitely has a great method! I highly recommend him and players ink in general to everyone!

I was really happy with my eyebrow piercing until i found out you’re supposed to be pierced with a longer bar at first to leave room for swelling. my bar was very short so the piercing ball started being engulfed by my eyebrow. i also didn’t know the gauge, the length, how it was threaded, etc, there wasn’t much explaining. they also told me and my friend to use q tips to clean it with sea salt water, but our other piercers said the fibers of the q tips get stuck on the piercing and can accumulate bacteria.i went to pierced out to get it upsized and they were so much more caring and thorough with explaining everything, go there instead!!

This is my favorite spot to get tattoos and piercings from in San Jose, especially if you’re looking for walk-ins. I got my cartilage piercing done today by Adrian, and my wrist tattoo done today by JT. Both of them did an amazing job, and I would highly recommend both of them! They were very attentive to detail, made sure I felt comfortable, and were very patient and helpful. I got the piercing and tattoo exactly how I wanted for both. Thank you so much!! I will definitely be coming back more often soon :)

I’ve been going to Player’s Ink for a few years to get tattooed. This is by far my favorite shop. The staff is friendly, artists make it easy to book appointments, and the shop is clean. I’ve been tattooed by JT and Travis and will continue to come back for more. I have had nothing but good experiences between my tattoos and piercings done here.

My favorite tattoo shop! The shop is super clean and everyone there is always so friendly and helpful. I go see Rafael. He always gets my vision (most times elevates it) and always makes me feel comfortable. I get a ton of compliments on my tattoos.

HIGHLY recommend players ink! I have gotten 4 piercings by Adrian, and my mom got 3 from him, hes very welcoming and gentle. Explains the process and pain level, and very fast! I also have gotten 3 tattoos from Travis, and my mom got a matching one with me! Travis has an extremely gentle touch, and is very quick and clean. I had my septum pierced a few years ago and it was one of the most painful experiences, not just the piercing but the healing process after. I found out later the piercing had been done incorrectly and therefore healed incorrectly. I’m so glad I came to players ink to get it re-pierced. My piercer was kind and patient. They were quick and talked me through the process. I did the same aftercare as my first piercing (I’m pretty diligent about it) and the healing went perfectly! My piercing healed surprisingly quickly and I absolutely love it.

I called before I went in to see if they have the clear piercings I needed for school, they said yes. Got there, nobody was In the front all in the back on there phones or watching tv. Nobody wanted to help , waited 10 minutes and finally when I got help they didn’t have what I needed … even though I called before I came. The guy who ended up helping me gave a lot of attitude and was rude. How do you have 5 people working but no one to help …. Very unprofessional and lazy

The waiting time was short considering I went on a weekday after the piercer had already arrived. I went to Players Ink to get my vertical labret lip piercing and it was super quick!!! Personally my pain was 4/10 but it definitely hurt in that short moment. Very clean environment too. My piercer, whos name was Adrian, wore gloves and advised me to use saline. Im definitely saving this place for a future piercing. Thank you !!!

Walked in to get a piercing, waited 20 mins no one greeted us , it’s like a ghost town all the employees playing pool in the back . Then we get told that piercings are at 130 pm . That information would be helpful online or on the website .

Kholay has done both my septum and my nostril piercing, and both times he has done such an amazing job.(septum healed perfect!) I went with my friend last night to get our nostrils done and he did such a good and fast job, and he really helps you relax and not feel scared when he’s about to pierce you!

San Jose has plenty of tattoo shops around but this is definitely the best one. All of their artists have areas where they thrive but I think that JT is probably the best choice for artist in the shop.

This review is a week past due because I have been so busy but this place deserves it. I came in last week with my wife. Both gentlemen I dealt with was hella chill and respectful. I got my eyebrow pierced by Kholay. He did a very good job and what I really liked was he gave me a couple of options recommending where to get it. I thought that was cool. Also that price was not bad at all. I will definitely be going back when I get more piercings or I get tattoos.

Adrian was so gentle! He did a great job with my nose piercing and my aunts cartilage piercings. Super quick, talked us through breathing through it, and refreshingly friendly!

I went in for a nose piercing change and help putting in some jewelry (I had to take them out for a medical procedure). Adrian was kind, professional, and answered all my questions. The price itself was much less than I expected! Additionally, there were a couple arcade games to pass the time during the (short) wait. Overall a pleasant experience.

Kholay did a great job with my tattoo, he was informative about the process and had great attention to detail. Definitely created a welcoming and friendly environment!! 10/10 can’t recommend him enough and I will definitely come back for more.

I dnt have pictures 2 share but ive gone here multiple times with no issues til i recently got lip piercings done and i was given totally improper jewelry :-( bars were so small they sunk into my skin, placement was also disappointing and i’ll have to go get them redone else where

Did a great job, not finished yet. Need to get colored in, but that was my request to wait. Very great, skilled, friendly artist Javier that was patiently kind to me. I was a bit of a baby about it. Lol

The piercer was very friendly and so quick with the piercing it was basically painless! I got two done today and I love them. Total was $120 for both my septum and double earlobe which was expected and a very fair price. Hope to get pierced here again.

I came in because was looking for a shop near me to get some jewelry replaced and a review online said was a great place for piercing. The guy that attended me seemed annoyed at having to work. There was minimal energy extended when I asked what jewelry he had. There was NO sanitation that I observed when replacing my jewelry whatsoever which anyone who has had ANYTHING PIERCED knows better. He was so aggressive with changing out my conches and had me so frustrated that I did not allow him to touch my nose! My pain tolerance is pretty high as I work with over 1,500 lb horses. I saw more respect and kindness from another worker who just completed a couple of girls first tattoos than what I received. I would not recommend. I would give a shout out and a start to tattoo artist that was nice.

Great pricing with excellent service. i got a nostril piercing a few weeks ago and my piercer was very gentle. it felt almost like a shot. after almost a month, the piercing hasn’t swollen or become infected. the place is very clean and the piercers are very experienced.

Went as a walk-in for an industrial piercing. Adrian was super nice to talk to and was great at talking through the procedure and aftercare and was careful to consider the placement of the piercing with the glasses I wear. Turned out great, and cost less than any of my other piercings have been. Really glad I came here!

Staff are awesome. Great pricing. Adrian did my cartilage. He was quick and very good at it. I must say I thought it will be painful but its quick and felt just like a pinch. Definitely recommend this place for piercing.

My friend and I were walk ins for piercings. We were helped fairly quickly and our piercer did a great job as far as cleanliness and making sure everything was sanitized. My piercing did get very very swollen and when I went back 2 days later another piercer took a look and said that the placement of my piercing wasnt the best but he was very helpful and told me to come back in a few days if it wasnt better. It did end up getting better and my friend never had any issues with hers. Prices are very realistic as well

Ive gotten several piercings from Adrian and he also stretches my ears. Hes really good at making clients feel comfortable and relaxed, and always guides me through the pain in a calm way. I also have 5 tattoos from here, and each one is clean and beautiful!

I got three flash-style tattoos on my right forearm from Travis. All three have great line work and the color is really packed in there. This would be a 5 star review, but I have to ding them on aftercare. Theyre still using the old school plastic wrap to temporarily seal/protect the tattoo. Saniderm would provide a superior healing process.

Got my piercing done by Adrian and he did a really great job, he was also very friendly and professional. Helped calm my nerves a bit too. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a piercing.

Stopped in to get my ear pierced without an appointment. Adrian took me right away and was extremely nice and professional. He pieced my ear by hand (which I highly prefer to the piercing gun) and it looks great! Very knowledgable and would highly recommend. Great prices too!

I never write reviews SO this is definitely saying something. I came here for an eyebrow piercing, later to find out the jewelry they gave me was HORRIBLE! I was never told I had to return to get my piercing downsized which caused me to have a bump on my eyebrow so thank yall for that😍 would not recommend coming here for a piercing :)

Got my first ear piercings here, very happy with my choice. The guy who did my piercing definitely took pride in doing a good job, and took care to mark both positions and used a needle for the piercing. No blood, very little pain afterwards, good price.

Got my ear cartilage pierced by Adrian, excellent experience. Less pain than my prior piercings with other shops, and he works quickly. $60 for each

So my friend and I just got our noses pierced here, with a walk in, after being rejected by another place, but the service was absolutely incredible they were so nice. They do use a needle not a gun so it definitely hurts more but its a lot cleaner and safer. I get light headed easily aftet something like this and they were so nice About it. They let me stay and sit down and brought me water and kept coming over to check if I was ok, and cleaning it. The price was really good compared to my other piercings, and there was no fee or hassle. I 10/10 recommend. And I hear there tattoos are great.

Players ink is always clean and the people are chill, but jt has been our go to guy for over a year now and never disappoints.

A friend and I got nose piercings and were in and out in like 10 minutes. the piercer is so nice and knew EXACTLY what he was doing- everything was flawless. honestly exceeded all expectations for a clean and easy piercing.

My experience with Players ink was awesome. My artist name was Everett Medeiros, he was wonderful. He made me feel comfortable and I felt relaxed the whole time. I was very happy with my tattoo it was exactly what I wanted and the color was brilliant. Before I left he handed me his business card and offered a complementary touch up. I was very pleased with my visit here.

Came in today as a walk in for a septum piercing literally got seen within 10 minutes great customer service and very polite people. I am definitely considering this shop my go to from now on!

The artists are super cool, layed back and they are like a family. Josh Everett did my work and it was an amazing experience hes super friendly and the best part is he does not have a super heavy hand so it did not hurt one bit, in fact I damn near fell asleep.

Bad piercing spot, had my nose pierced here, guy put in the wrong size jewelry in the wrong location. Had lots of bleeding issues for weeks and ultimately had to get the piercing removed by other professionals or else would’ve needed surgery to get the jewelry out. Cheap spot, but not worth the pain and money you’ll have to face later.

This review is for a piercing experience at Players Ink.TL,DR: My piercings generally went well, but one was done with too small jewellery and it caused me problems and I had to go back and get it tapered up a size 2 days later. Now everything is good. So I would reccomend Players Ink if you do your own research on the correct jewellery sizes and techniques for the piercing you want, and can be an informed and assertive customer. However, if you want high quality internally threaded jewellery and the best sanitation and expert piercing possible, I would go to a specialty piercing shop.I got 3 piercings done 3 weeks ago by Adrien. My experince was mostly positive and the piercings are healing up pretty well. However, some things from during and after my visit would make me hesitate to reccomend this place for complex or sensitive piercings. I think it is probably fine to get more common piercings like lobes/basic cartilage/lip/nose if you are comfortable doing your own research and know how to practice good aftercare.Pros:- My piercer, Adrian, and the staff were professional and kind.- The piercing room was clean and organized.- Adrian did a great job keeping everything clean and sanitary. skin cleaned with betadine, used new sterile needles and multiple pairs of latex gloves.- They use the correct piercing techniques for the piercings which i got (i had researched beforehand and asked about the methods before committing)- I had no signs of infection after (I also did 2x daily sea salt soaks, the standard aftercare to keep fresh piercings clean and help healing)- i was a walk-in about 6pm on Saturday evening and it was not busy and i was seen quickly.- The price was quite reasonable - though to some extent i now feel you get what you pay for was true based on this experience vs a specialty piercing store like Cold Steel in SF.Cons:- Jewellery was disinfected in a cup in rubbing alcohol after I chose it - not with an autoclave. The other supplies were all sterile one time use.- They only had externally threaded stainless steel jewellery - no titanium or internally threaded options.- No paper of aftercare instructions given - so make sure you do your research and practice good aftercare to prevent your new piercing getting infected (2x daily sea salt soaks with 1/4 tsp salt per 8 oz boiled water).- Unfortunately, one of my piercings, which was in a very sensitive area, was done with too narrow a gauge of jewellery (16g). This size is risky as it increases the chance of tearing the skin if the jewerly gets caught. It was also very sharp feeling.I ended up with too short jewerly in this latter piercing because while i initially asked for a 14g barbell, Adrien pressured me into 16g. His reasons seemed logical at the time, but it turned out he was incorrect, when I did my own research later.Unfortunately, the smaller gauge did not work for me, it was quite painful and irritating. I actually went back 2 days later and had the fresh piercing tapered from 16g to 14g and a bigger barbell inserted. This hurt, of course, but it was way better than risking the cheese wire effect from the thin jewelry on a very sensitive part of my body. The piercing was immediately much more comfortable, even an hour after sizing up the jewellery, and is healing well now. The fact that Adrian was misinformed on how to do this piercing means I would definitely not recommend going there for something unusual or really complex - i would reccomend going to a specialty piercing shop for those.

Josh is amazing, I have had several tattoos by him and love each and every one of them. Plus I have fun when I go in for tattoos with him, its like hanging out but with a tattoo gun. 10/10 would recommend.

Bottom line, I wouldn’t recommended for a piercing. They cant tell you for sure if their jewelry is stainless steel, or what ? He said “I think so”. I got an infection and called and was told to “try calling back tomorrow “. Just horrible quality. You are rushed in and out so they can get the next customer. I was told to clean with hydrogen peroxide which is the ONE thing you shouldn’t use to clean because it’s abrasive and kills the cells that need to help the wound heal.Don’t make the mistake I made.

Been a fan since seeing Travis work. Every time I am San Jose I stop through and get something. Travis is very professional, skilled and creative. I recommend him.

I just got my Ashley piercing done here. Travis was the piercer I got he did a great job and it went by fast and wasn’t painful. I truly love how it came out.

Been going to JT for years now. He does amazing color and lines are always clean. I have a full sleeve from him and a couple others and have never been disappointed. Hes straight up and will give you honest and realistic advise..... just know what you want when going. Even when I move out of state I will come back just to get my work done by JT.

My daughter got a Septum piercing here by Kole, it was her 2nd time, 1st by him, he was awesome, patient, explained as he went, soft spoken to a comfort, great experience, Ty Kole!!

Received ear piercings two weeks ago. The piercer was professional and the whole process took about five minutes. Very little pain and very little bleeding.

Did an upper lip piercing with them, everything was pretty fine only downside is I had my piercing, bought 3 for $20 and I wanted to use one of them and called beforehand to ask if I could use them and they said yes, however when I went to the store the piercer said he could “probably” use mine, but last minute he was like no it won’t be long enough, he made me purchase one from them for $30 and it ended up being super long to the extent that it looks very ugly and keeps clinging to my gum, very annoying but I’m stuck with it right now. Very mad I had to pay extra money for something that’s I use for me

Called earlier in the day to get a piercing done, the piercer stated that he would be there until closing. Waited also 45 minutes with a colleague until we said forget it. The building was starting to get filled with other people that wanted piercings so we went elsewhere...

The place was very clean and the staff were friendly. J.T. did my tattoo and was kind to help me out with the design. I was a walk in that came an hour before the place closed, so hats off for them taking me in. Oh and the tattoo came out great!

I really like this place. They have all types of piercings and cool tattoos. The people who work there are very nice and explain how to take care of the piercings.

I went in to get a tattoo of a phrase on my wrist. It was very well done. The only problem was it was misspelled accidentally by the artist. In the artist’s defense, when he drafted it, it was misspelled, and when he asked me if it looked good I said, “Yes” not realizing the mistake. When I looked back at the photo I gave him before his draft it was spelled right however. Other than that, the guy did a great job.

Josh is my tattoo artist and he is phenomenal! Light hand, organized, friendly, clean, and always manages to conceptualize exactly what I want. I will never see another artist again.

The people were rude, barely explained anything, and when the piece I wanted done was shown to the artist on site he literally displayed ZERO interest in doing the work, not to mention made a negative remark about it being song lyrics. Made me feel VERY unwelcome
