36th Street Tattoo

First time being here and 2nd tattoo in my lifetime certainly did not disappoint. I had a great experience with Javi (Nevus) that was very professional and provided me with a great tattoo that I custom designed. Most would try to change it to their liking or butcher it due to what they are used to buy Javi (Nevus) listened carefully and put the great piece on my forearm. I would also point out that all the tattooers there were also professional and great. Great clean place as well. I am looking to get my inner arm done as well as a few other places so Ill definitely reschedule to go back within a couple weeks!

I love this shop! Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. I just got my second tattoo from Nevus. He is very professional and incredibly talented. I’d get another tattoo from him in a heartbeat. Can’t wait to hit up their Flash Sundays sometime soon!

I have been to 36th Street for 4 tattoos now and will continue to return! Rempe and Brad are total class acts, amazing gentlemen to work with. The shop is bright, clean, comfortable, and a great environment to be tattooed in. Everyone is so warm and welcoming, I always look forward to each time I return for a new piece. Whether you are looking for trad flash off the wall (they have SO many incredible designs), a walk-in, or a more intricate custom piece, 36th street is my favorite shop in Seattle by far.

36th Street Tattoo is amazing! I started coming here with my girlfriend who’s getting her full leg sleeves done with Rempe. Eventually Rempe convinced me to betray my other tattoo artist and get a tattoo with them. Rempe did the amazing dagger and Mich there did the beautiful eagle. Thank you again guys for the beautiful tattoos, can’t wait to get more!

Visited the shop back in May on one of the flash Sundays and got a sweet cowboy skull done by Javi Nevus. He’s no longer working out of 36th street, but I’d honestly go back for any of the artists at this spot. Loved the flash options, everyone was super friendly and helpful. Clean working spaces. Not a whole lot of privacy since it’s an open room, but I personally love the symphony of coils and other artists stopping by other stations to check out the work. Definitely stopping by again in the coming months for more ink! 🤙🏼🤘🏼

Fantastic tattoo experience. Stopped in for a walk in with a large group and Rempe brought my idea to life very quickly and with minimal pain compared to my previous tattoos. Highly Recommend. Super clean and welcoming shop, too.

This is my favorite tattoo shop in the Seattle area. I received my last tattoo from Javi (nevus.tattoo) who was such an excellent person to work with. I became aware of him on Instagram as he is a new addition to the shop. He is extremely talented and I trust him fully as an artist. He did amazing work on me! Bright and bold colors. Two of my friends and I got tattoos here over the weekend and had a great experience. The shop was busy, but everyone was professional and helpful. Brad was our artist and we all loved how our tattoos turned out. Each of the artists seemed very supportive of each other’s work too. I’ll definitely be going back for another tattoo at 36th Street!

Super friendly, clean shop. Good prices for Flash Sunday. Perfect spot for my friend to get her travel tattoo during her stay in town. Arrived around noon and got 4pm appointments, plenty of stuff to do nearby to kill time

Came in today for Sunday walk in. It was my first time going. The shop was great, extremely clean and the people were very friendly.Brad was my tattoo artist and he was amazing. He agreed to a tattoo was bigger than the normal walk-in tattoos. He was very nice, professional, friendly and I couldnt be happier with my tattoo! I will definitely go back to Brad and get much more work done.

First time getting a traditional tattoo, and it was an amazing experience. Artists were communicative and knowledgable about everything from tattoo styles and sizing to proper aftercare. Would absolutely recommend.

Had my first tattoo done by Brad here yesterday! Great experience as a walk in. My husband and I got matching sailboats and really enjoyed talking to Brad and the other artist working there. Both are clearly very talented and made us feel so comfortable from start to finish. Can’t wait to come back next time we’re in town!

I can’t recommend this shop enough! It’s very clean, nicely decorated and full of talented artists. A friend and I went to check it out on one of their flash Sundays and were immediately greeted by Maddy, who was so sweet and welcoming. She handed us waters and invited us to check out the binders full of amazing artwork and explained what flash we could choose from on the wall (they have seemingly endless impressive options in different styles.) We were paired with Nevus, who is professional and kind and gave great advice on size and placement for both of us. We felt so comfortable getting tattooed by him and were both blown away by the pieces he did for us. The line work and detail in mine couldn’t be more well done (pictured below) and the lines and bold colors of my friend’s panther are perfect. Overall so happy with our experience!

Came in to get a tattoo and I worked with Brad but there was also Rempe in studio, both were so professional, welcoming and I could tell they were so happy to be here and loved their job which makes a big difference! 36th Street is the spot! The space itself is clean with lots of natural light and they always have the best tunes playing. I’ve being going to Rempe for years (see first photo of a custom he did for me). Not only is his style and color scheme a standout, he’s also a really great guy that’s happy to collaborate and bring your ideas to life. I trust him entirely and I also highly recommend his flash!! The shop does flash Sundays and I just got my first tattoo from Brad and I am stoked! Another incredible and knowledgeable artist with great line work and cool style (see second photo). We came in on Sunday for flash tattoos and my husband and I both got ones we love from Anthony. He did an amazing job on the rose I got and I couldn’t be happier with it! The wait wasn’t too long, and there were so many awesome designs to choose from!

I was in town for a conference and decided I wanted a cup of coffee tattoo for my ongoing American Traditional leg sleeve. After searching the Internet and Instagram I gave 36th Street a call, Rempe was able to squeeze me in and knock out a great tattoo. My sister and I walked in on a Friday morning and even though Rempe was already booked for the whole day he was kind enough to stay 2 hours past closing for us to get tattooed. We had a picture of what we wanted to get, but there was quite a few things that we want changed. Rempe listened to want we wanted and was very attentive to the details. This was my sisters 1st tattoo too so she was a little nervous, but the environment and the people in the shop were so welcoming and chill that she calmed down. The tattoos came out beautifully and we couldn’t be happier!

Went in for Flash Sunday, where they dont take appointments and just do walk-in flash tattoos. Brad took care of us and he was super communicative and just a nice dude. Super happy with our experience.

I had been wanting two flowers along each collarbone, in a folksy traditional kinda style. So I walked in on Thursday evening and it was advised that I make an appointment for the tattoo I wanted. They had an available appointment the next day so I went in on that Friday and Brad worked with me. The shop gives great advice on size/style! Would recommend.

Maddie, Jake and Amanda were incredible! Amanda was such a reassuring and talented artist. Very clean shop, super nice group of individuals!

I’ve been in 3 times in the past month, 2 walk-ins and 1 appointment. Tons of great inspiration on the walls, and in each artists books. Everyone’s super friendly and the space is nice. Anthony (thedeadwhatever) drew up an awesome moth for me, and Javi (nevus.tattoo) drew up this wicked snake head with dagger & beautiful cowgirl. 10/10 recommend the shop whether an impromptu walk-in or something scheduled. Great place! Love my scorpion!! It goes really well with the Mans Ruin tattoo I got at Smith Street in New York a few years back.They had time for an impulsive tattoo at 8 pm on a Saturday night. The artist was quick and the results were amazing, two things that dont normally go together. Cannot recommend this place enough.

My friend and I were checking out Fremont & were drawn into this shop bc of how light, bright & welcoming it was. Rempe was just starting with an appointment but was gracious to squeeze us in after, before closing up for the night. He asked thoughtful clarifying questions about the design and placement and checked in on how we were both feeling throughout the process. Went in for a walk in on Sunday 4th of July weekend, not necessarily expecting to get fit in due to the shop being busy. 36th street tattoo was incredibly welcoming and helpful from the moment I walked in the door.Tattoo work was done by Rempe, who insisted on me double checking placement of stencil to ensure I was happy with placement and scale, ensuring I was hydrated, and that we had sugar near by (I’m a type one diabetic). When you walk into 36th Street it is very welcoming, I love how they all bounce ideas off each other and have great music selection.
