Jose is great. Professional, fair rates and an actual artist (ask to see his sketches theyre beautiful).I came in with a rough design for a traditional style tattoo and he cleaned it up and improved it. His go to style is realism, and the attention to detail that requires showed in his work. Ill probably be back for another tattoo soon and Id want him to do it because I can tell hes passionate about his work and art, we talked for about an hour about John Singer Sargent, Giger, painting and tattoos.If you want a high quality tattoo and an tattoo artist thats willing to work with you and take input while providing their own, then ask for a consultation.

Ive been going to the same artist and business partner for over 15years now and have never once been disappointed. Sang and Jose have always been friendly and very professional each time I go in for a session. Their art is amazing, theyre are really chill, fun, and energetic people. Their location is really peaceful and Beautiful because its right in the waterfront of lake Union! A really awesome and safe location! If you dont believe me, just check them out yourself! Wow, Jose is great! My wife and I celebrated our 40th with our first tattoos. I cannot say enough good things about how welcoming and flexible Jose is. We had some last minute design changes day of our appointment and he was more than accommodating. His work is amazing and my wife and I have received nothing but complements! Best Tattooing experience I’ve ever had, I am very pleased with the whole process, very easy and straight forward. I came for a full sleeve and gave my artist Sang some ideas I had in mind and showed him some pictures I’ve had inspiration from and he was able to put together an incredible piece of art with his own unique style. I am blessed to come across this great artist, he puts a lot of effort and time into his craft and I can definitely say this is the guy you would want if you want a special unique piece done. Words cannot describe the attention to detail he puts into his work and I will be coming back for more. Sang is super chill and friendly and would 100% recommend!

Jose Camarillo is the best tattoo artist I have ever worked with. I can’t believe I never reviewed him from my first piece in 2019. I look forward to planning a few more pieces with him. Jose not only listened to my idea, but helped build a piece of art that I constantly get asked about 4 years later. Art Never Dies is true to their name. Everyone I have had to opportunity to work with there never disappoints. The scheduling is always on point and the finish product is what was promised without charging an arm and leg like most tattoo establishments that are currently open in the greater Seattle area. I have had the pleasure of working with the owner Jose for the last three years working on both my sleeves as well as other tattoos on my body. Jose is a great artist and really good person. I got a full sleeve done in early 2021. He took my complex idea with a lot of tough elements to fit into a single piece and made it into a seamless piece of art that perfectly represents what I was looking for. Importantly, in contrast to a lot of tattoo shops, the vibe of the shop is friendly, unintimidating, and welcoming. I would definitely get more work done here and would 100% recommend to a friend with complete confidence.

I came here for my very first tattoo. Kevin was my artist and I couldnt be more happy with it. The process was smooth and painless. Kevin and I had some great conversations which took my mind off of the uncomfortable parts. He answered all my questions after promptly as well. I didnt feel rushed or anything like that. After my tattoo was done he places a bandage and aftercare instructions were very easy and simple. Nice views here as well. I really enjoyed my time here and will recommend this place to my friends. I got to meet the owner and he seemed very nice as well.

I just got my very first tattoo done today, here. It was a great experience. I was a little nervous and was very picky on how I wanted it but Sang (who tatted me) was very patient with me and took the time to do it exactly how I wanted it. After I went to go show my whole family. They absolutely loved it and now my sister wants the same matching tatt as me. All of the artist are pretty cool and down to earth. Good customer service too! 👍👍

A friend of mine knows Mimi and highly recommended her, and I was so glad she did! I had been wanting to cover up a tattoo I got on my foot when I was 19 with the Eye of Horus and was really worried how that would work out. Turns out Mimi has a lot of experience with cover ups (including doing at least one on herself!) and it turned out way beyond what I had hoped. Ive had my tattoo for 5 months now and love it more each day. Will definitely be going here again.

Got my forearm tattood here by Mimi and Im absolutely on love with it. Its perfect. I wanted it to look just like John Coopers Forgiven tattoo and she absolutely nailed it. Linework, shading and everything is absolutely perfect. She let my friends sit and watch me get the tat and treated us like family. It was awesome. Its my favorite tattoo. If anyone wants a good tattoo, go here. I will be coming here for all my future tattoos.

Jose is the man. He tatted thus years ago for me and the color has withstood the test of time. I gave him a general idea and he took it to the next level. I trust this guy.

I felt uncomfortable when the owner of Art Never Dies “Jose” would purposely use the door furthest to his tattoo station to look into the window that I was being tattooed in and stare/ laugh. He was very unprofessional and immature by exaggerating his laughter towards me and my artist each time he walked by the window of the room I was being tattoo in.

I stopped by and the door was locked with nobody in sight even though they had a sign out. I called and left a voicemail to set up a consolation, I received a text back and scheduled a date to do the consolation. On the day scheduled I texted the number asking for a time and never heard back, I left another voicemail to the business and still havent heard back - ghosted.

Couldnt say enough about this place. True artists and highly skilled at the art of tattooing. As a bonus you get a view of Lake Washington while you get your new pieces done.

I got my brows microbladed by Mimi. I was scared at first because my skin is dark but Mimi did a great job. I highly recommend her!
