Fenix Tattoo and Piercing

Was visiting Seattle with family. My mom, aunt, cousin, and I all wanted piercings. Fenix was the only shop near us that accepted walk-ins. We were greeted by Garret who explained everything very well and we were all pierced within an hour. Garret was helpful, patient, kind, and knowledgeable. Excellent service and prices!!! :)

I got my helix and nose pierced! It was such a great experience. I felt like the piercer really took the time to make sure the placement looked good on my face instead of just speeding through it. Will definitely be recommending!

Got my bridge pierced a few months back with a buddy, piercer was exceptional and made sure they looked just right for our faces and anatomy. Then, today I had an issue, lost the ball to my bridge then the whole thing fell out of my face. I called fenix and they said to come in, associate that helped me was the same guy that pierced me and got me fixed up at no charge! Seriously saved my ass

Walked in to get my nose pierced - great experience. The team were so friendly and kind, answered all my questions and gave me the space to make my decision. Didn’t feel rushed to decide what I wanted, the process was quick and easy and I’m really happy with my piercing. Oh and they filled up my water bottle for me which was lovely because it was such a hot day 🥰

Me and my friends all came and got our ears pierced. I called ahead to make sure that they could take a group of 4 for walk ins. Everyone was friendly and Ty was clearly very knowledgeable and charismatic. He was super clear with instructions for recovery and healing and Id def trust him with all my future piercings. Highly recommend!!

Came in tonight for a belly button piercing and got exactly what I wanted with extremely quick yet extremely efficient service! I love my little piercing so much and will be very diligent with my aftercare. I have had many piercings; so while the piercer walked me through his methodology and why he uses certain materials; everything he said was a massive green flag to anyone who has had many piercings or is educated on the subject. Almost everything he said he would never do has, in fact, been done to me by other piercers in the past with some really unfortunate consequences. The more he told me about his piercing philosophy, the more I trusted him and was glad I chose to come to this shop for this sensitive area of the body! Not to mention the beyond reasonable price! I HIGHLY recommend this shop! Over 75% of my tattos have been done by the shops owner Ty and Im very happy with every single one i have a couple customs peices he has drawen just for me and some generic ones. I have also gotten 3 piercings from him (nose and daith and top of ear)And have never had any issues with healing.Everyone at the shop is super friendly and knowledgeable. Cant recommend enough

Special vacay weekend for my grown child and me, and we wanted to get pierced together while we’re in Seattle. Garreette was amazing! He got us right in, was very professional and knowledgeable, as well as friendly and made the whole experience so enjoyable and memorable! We got a septum piercing and a Medusa piercing and both were so easy! Garreette ensured we liked placement and was very open if we wanted any little tweaks for our own aesthetics/symmetry (but his marks were perfect!), shared all the important details of aftercare and jewelry choices, talked us through the process again as he pierced to make sure it went smoothly, and he was very gentle. Fabulous experience all the way around and very reasonable pricing too. We love our new piercings and Fenix! Thank you again Garreette!

I was on my way to Everett with some friends when my nose ring popped out. I had just gotten it pierced a month ago and wanted someone to put it back in. I found this place on the way to where we were going and ran in. I wanted a hoop, so I figured this was the time. Garret was very accommodating, friendly, and nice. The vibe was great. He sat me down right away and helped me find the right size. Prices were very reasonable. I was in and out in 10 minutes, and he didnt even let me tip. He said his tip was a good review, so here you go Garret! Well deserved, and I will spread the word. Thank you so much.

Got a nostril piercing here today it was quick and not painful at all :) I loved it and the price was less expensive than any other places I checked in Seattle ! Highly recommend!

Recently came in to get my lip pierced and had a great experience! Piercer was very thorough and made sure I was happy with the placement.

I had an earring stuck inside my ear while trying to take it out, when I say inside I mean in my lobe! I called in and they calmly said I could come in and they can help me! The gentleman was very confident and kind, he calmed me down and in one swift motion removed the stuck earring.He was very skilled and comforting. He answered all my questions in depth and helped me with aftercare as well! I would highly highly recommend! Kindness!!!

I called in to get a jewelry change as the one another store put in was way way way too tight. They said to come in and he helped me within 10 minutes. He was so kind and such a life saver!

I needed help to put a piercing that fell off, which is time sensitive before the hole closes. Other shops I called were like “sorry we’re booked up good luck lol”.Here they were extremely chill and told me I could drop by, and got it solved in like 2 minutes. They also gave me the quick service for free.You could really feel the difference in attitude towards the customer. Thanks Fénix Tattoo!

The piercer Garrett was knowledgeable and friendly, made me feel extremely comfortable when I was nervous already. It was quick and a lot less painful than I thought, and they cleared up a lot of confusion that other piercers in the past have told me. I would definitely go back here again for all of my piercings 10 out of 10

Ran in because I had lost my nose piercing and needed a quick replacement late at night. The guy who helped me was really nice and helpful. I was so glad that they were open. They had a great selection to choose from.

I was able to get in same day for a quote tattoo. Eva Ouchie did great job! Forsure will be getting another one from her.

The staff are so kind and friendly. I went in to fix my septum ring, and they fixed it and showed me how to flip it up - for free! Such a nice experience.

Tye the Piercer was able to help me on a walk in appointment bc my Monroe piercing fell out and I couldnt get it back in. He gave me a really amazing little biochemistry lesson on using stainless steel jewelry vs bioflex when the site is healing. So make sure you get an experienced piercer. Like this amazing man who has 35 years experience. Hes friendly too, imagine that.

Walked in with a friend for a septum and eyebrow piercings. The process was efficient and the piercer was great! They were funny and made me feel comfortable despite my uneasiness.

I got my eyebrow done and the piercer was very knowledgeable and funny, he made it a very nice experience for me. It was one of my least painful piercings and was over so quick! the needle went in like butter and one of my best piercing experiences . and I have had 18 done. really recommend.

Super friendly place with great staff! Ty himself helped me out gauging up a piercing, made the process quick and (relatively) painless. He even waived the fee since it was a small stretch, far too kind. You can tell hes a genuine guy and he runs a cool shop, looking forward to getting back in there.

I got a septum piercing here and a piercer named Garrett gave me great customer service!! He explained the entire piercing process, educated me on jewelry and aftercare, and answered every question I had! Very cool guy. My piercing was super quick and the vibes were great.

Such a great shop! I stopped in after work to get my other nostril pierced and everyone there is friendly, professional, and rad as hell! The piercing hurt a little bit (as expected) but my piercer was knowledgeable about the entire experience and provided excellent before and aftercare info. I went in to get some help putting my new piercings back in after a sudden and unexpected MRI required me to remove them. They were very helpful, I was in and out in under 30 minutes, and they wouldnt accept payment. I know where Im getting my next tattoo!

Terrible peircings for my friend and I. I got my navel she got her nipples pierced and we both had issues not long after. My navel is not straight and he gave us super short jewelry so they both ripped through the whole. All my other piercers give me longer jewelry for swelling and such. I would not recommend this place.

Garret was amazing. Got a nose piercing and he made the experience enjoyable and knowledgeable. If you want a piercing from someone who actually knows what they are talking about and care to make it look great and take their time to explain all the after care, go to garret. Ive known Ty for a couple years now. Hes a strange fellow but hes a really good guy. His shop has been around for ages and if youve been in the heart of Seattle for as long as he has its a testament to being a solid human and doing good work. Ive gotten 2 big pieces done by him and I plant to get a few more. His art is dope the atmosphere is cool and as a human you wont find many more stand up than him. I forgot his name but this shop has really good prices and the piercer that did it was very nice and gave me a stressball and very helpful advice and made things very easy for me. This place wasn’t after my money but my Satisfaction. Very happy with the pricing and piercing.

My best friend and I decided to get a tattoo at 9pm on a Saturday. Fenix tattoo was one of the only shops open but it was in Pioneer Square. So we decided to check it out, so glad I did! They got us in and I love it! They are very friendly and do fantastic work. I would highly recommend Fenix Tattoo!

Ty is amazing!!! 11pm on a Sunday I almost had a melt down about not being able to get my infected (from a different shop) anti tragus piercing out — I called and they said I could come right in and they’d help me out. Ty got it right out and was very helpful, kind, and informative on the possibilities of why my piercing ended up infected, how to avoid that in the future, and how to help it heal now. I’ll be back!!

Absolutely loved this place. Some friends and I were looking to get a few piercings done and were happy to find that this place took walk-ins after we goofed and forgot to book an appointment. The head piercer was super kind and knowledgeable and made for an overall friendly and great experience. Some may say hes a know-it-all, but this man KNOWS his stuff. I have never felt more confidence in a professional. The rest of the staff was also super kind and welcoming despite the sudden influx of walk-ins and made sure everyone was accommodated and treaded cordially. Great atmosphere, great staff and an all around good time. Music taste was also very good. Definitely a Pick of Destiny.

Came here because I needed a replacement ball for a septum piercing. I offered to pay but they insisted I take it for free, and even tightened it for me. Fantastic customer service and very friendly, could not recommend more!

Go somewhere else to get your piercings done.I got my nose pierced here, the stud came lose a few days later and when I went to get it corrected, the guy who corrected it was extremely gruff & careless with the replacement which, the next day (today), is now pulling the ball through the other end of the piercing which I now just need to remove permanently and try again once this heals and the pain goes away.Its been super fun today pulling the ball out of my nose where it had embedded under the skin overnight after all the pain & lack of caution yesterday.

Clean service. Artist did exactly what I asked. I was in the shop about 15 mins. Will go back! Parking is a pain, so if you have an appointment I would suggest arriving with some time to spare.

I had a wonderful experience at Fenix! I went with a couple of friends and we went to get small tattoos together. We didnt make any appointments, we were walk-ins. We got to meet Ty the manager and our tattoo artist and he was fantastic! He tattooed my friend first and the customer service was wonderful. Everyone was very friendly and it felt great to be in the shop. Ty was really accommodating to all of us and although we didnt get to finish because we were short on time, it was still a wonderful experience. This was our first times getting tattoos and he made it really fun for all of us. We are definitely going back to finish!

Ty did my walk-in daith piercing and was extremely accommodating, communicative, and lovely to work with. Super fast piercing, helpful aftercare tips, and when I went I went in to get the OG piercing changed, he did it for free and made my dreams come true for the piercing Ive always wanted!Thanks again, Ty!

Got an eyebrow piercing here and it went so well, staff was so kind and very open to talking about how i wanted my piercing to look!

Got my medusa pierced here and have had nothing but problems. I had to return to the shop 3 days after piercing because the bar put in my lip was too short to accommodate for the swelling, only for the piercer to blame the swelling on me saying I was not cleaning in properly. I was cleaning it morning and night. My piercing is crooked, not placed properly, and it ended up getting infected. Now I have to remove it entirely. Im so upset, and I will never return to this shop. Poor customer service, and I paid money for an infected piercing I do not even get to keep.

The piercer was awesome, funny & very good at his job! He owns the business and feels very comfortable in there! He holds a conversation well & makes sure you feel safe and happy with yourself when youre in!

From MT visiting Seattle for vacation my sister was getting a tattoo there pre booked from Instagram. While we were waiting just wanted to get piercing spontaneously so my boyfriend and I went ahead he got his nose done and I got my septum done. It was such a great experience super friendly and professional. Definitely would recommend!

A really great experience with super knowledgeable owner/staff.The Piercer was very clear on what to expect during and the aftercare for my piercings.The whole experience was more than I could have expected. They are open late, close to my house, clean, knowledgeable, friendly, and can hold a conversation. Very professional and did not make me feel awkward at all while being partially clothed with a stranger.Im extremely happy with the outcome of my piercings and I will definitely be going back if I want to do more!

Eva helped me to make beautiful tattoo designs of the ideas I had and provided great conversation.Kai helped me with a nose piercing that had been giving my trouble for over a year. With over 30 years experience he knew exactly what to do!

I got my septum pierced here and my friends got their ears pierced on walk-ins and it was a super positive experience! Prices are veryyy reasonable and Ty is a funny and incredibly knowledgeable piercer. We had a really fun and smooth piercing experience, would 100% recommend.

My friends and I did a walk in at night. In total we got a tragus, industrial, and nose piercing from Ty. $60 for each piercing and we all tipped. On their website it says they do $50 a piercing if you get two! Wanted to mention it because I wouldve gotten 2 if I knew lol. They take card and apple or tap pay. We all had a great experience! It took about 30 mins and Ty was very informative and funny. He made an easing going environment and answered all our questions. My friend was nervous at first because it was her first piecing, and it helped her through the experience. We definitely want to come back!

Lili and the master piercer were readily available at 9:15pm for an emergency embedded lip ring. They didnt charge me and they gave me a better quality bar and better aftercare instructions. Will be going back to spend money.

Ty was wonderful!! I came in with a difficult nose ring to insert into my piercing that I couldn’t figure out myself. He was welcoming and very swiftly and professionally inserted my nose ring into the piercing and didn’t even charge me! He is a reminder of the fact that kindness still exists in the world. If you want a piercing, this is the place. The piercer (and owner) Ty is super knowledgeable, fun to talk to and incredibly generous. In the off chance there are any issues with my piercing, he said I can come back and he’ll help me out free of charge. Also, I locked my keys in my car and he went out of his way to help me get them out. Offered an extra tip but he wouldn’t accept. Super happy with my piercing, was a great experience and I definitely recommend. Thank you Ty!!

Bianca did my tattoo. She is amazing! Knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly. Ty is hands down a master at piercing. He looked at my ears and immediately recognized they weren’t closed. To my surprise he was right. There I was thinking they were closed. didn’t use earrings for years. Not even at my wedding! Hilarious and embarrassing 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 My husband is gonna love this story. This place was perfect. I went in at 1am for an impulse piercing and the owner was so nice and made sure I knew how to take care of it. The conversation we had was great, hes so good at making someone feel comfortable and I could have been in and out in 15 minutes if I hadnt decided to stay and talk. Would rate 6 stars if I could.

They were really nice, but my tattoo looks terrible. Tons of ink fell out. It is completely healed and it’s so faded. I got it a few months ago. I really wouldn’t recommend this shop. At least the fading will make it easier to do a cover-up. The woman who did my tattoo told me she was better than any tattoo artist in Oregon because she had a special certificate. Yet the tattoo’s I’ve gotten in Oregon at beautiful and dark, and this one looks like absolute cr*p. I even have one on the same arm, so it’s not just my skin. I honestly feel embarrassed walking around with this tattoo showing given how bad it looks.

I came in to get my Daith jewelry switched out. Garrett was able to change it out quickly and was super nice! Would love to come back and get a piercing! Thank you so much!

Bianca is amazing!!! She, so far, has given me two tats, on my bicep& one on my shoulder & she was WONDERFUL. Not heavy handed, not too crazily priced (even tho I think she deserves more than what she charges). I’m going back at the end of the month for a coverup and I’m so excited!! I honestly would prefer her to tattoo my spine because I honest to god believe that her doing my back tat will hurt less than anyone I’ve ever been to. Thanks Bianca, you’re awesome!!!

Unfortunately the piercers self proclaimed experience did not work in my favor. Having now confirmed with another piercer that my rook was pierced with too small of a barbell.. I dealt with infection and eventually the bell of the bar pulled through my ear and I had to remove it after 4 very painful weeks. Would be careful about using this as a trusted option.

I go here for all of my piercings after being pleasantly surprised with a knowledgeable easy going and professional piercer on a walk-in lip piercing over 3 years ago. I’ve gotten 6 other piercings done here since then and they have all been amazing. If you read that the piercer is full of himself it’s probably cause dude goes over his qualifications with everyone before piercing them, this made me feel 100% better and more trusting with his skills. I only go here for piercings.

I decided to get my septum pierced, with not as much knowledge I could have had. I was very uncertain and nervous but Ty made it extremely comfortable. He cracked jokes and eased the vibes completely. The best part imo is the “speech”, some people in the reviews were a bit upset but personally it gave me more confidence in my experience and less terrified/nervous. My only “complaint” is that aftercare instructions were not written down, I have ADHD and a good amount of instruction has been forgotten, unfortunately. So I would’ve appreciated written instruction, but Google exists so it’s not that big of a deal. I’m excited to see how it heals and it was just such a positive experience :) would recommend

Hubby and I decided to get our first tattoos ever, and Bianca at Fenix did not disappoint. She was amazing to work with and made the experience easy and virtually painless. She mastered both of our designs, and was fun and easy to talk to while she worked. If you are in the area and looking for a great place for ink, check them out. Bianca fit us in the day we called, which was greatly appreciated.

Huge shoutout to Ty at fenix. My partner had a poorly placed piercing at a different location in Denver, came back to Seattle and got the end of it stuck in her ear (not fun). We called Fenix at 11pm and they said to come right down, fixed it in like 10 seconds and gave really helpful instruction on care and cleaning for the fixed piercing, wouldnt even accept payment for it. I cant begin to say how much of a relief this was instead of trying to go to an emergency room or urgent care. SO helpful and SO nice about the whole process late at night. I would go here for any piercing/tattoo appointments going forward, theyve earned our business forever.

Well, where do I start. I didn’t even get to setup an appointment to be seen. Whoever does your intakes via email is HORRIBLE. Not only did I have to repeat myself 5 times that I lived in Portland and couldn’t come in for a consult, I also emailed 3-4 times showing the images I wanted for the tattoo. I gave great details of what I wanted for the tattoo. They finally asked for my number to discuss the tattoo further. I never heard from them again. I’ve even emailed in 2-3 more times. No response, no phone call, no tattoo. The worst part is, I got a tattoo from here when I was 19 and spent 2-3 months searching for the tattoo shop to get this piece done at. Very disappointing to have been treated that way. Especially when I didn’t go in wanting some cheap as$ flash and I actually have an idea of how the process goes. Won’t ever be returning and rather people be aware of the sort of treatment to be aware of when they’re dealing with this company now.

Ty took me as a walk in Saturday night and went over my design. Offered me great advice on placement and how it would look over time. Very pleased with the outcome. Ty is always professional and love his work. Excited about my next appointment in 2 weeks!!

We called Ty last minute and got there within an hour notice and he was able to get us in. He was extremely helpful, explaining the healing and aftercare process, walking us through all of the steps for our piercings to heal. He sent us home with aftercare products, free of charge. Could tell he really cared about customer experience and making sure our piercings healed properly. Would highly recommend and refer to anyone!!

I had a very good experience with the staff here. I came in to get my jewelry out for my pending surgery, and then came back to get it all put back in again after it was over. The piercing guy was super nice about it and even did all my captive bead jewelry too! Such a load off my mind! I didnt have to worry about doing it myself and losing beads down the drain. Thank you SO much!

I recommend going here for a walk in or just an appointment, I had a walk in today and I was nervous for getting my first tat but my tattoo artist was amazing and did a perfect job on my tattoo and I definitely will be coming back

I was seen as a walk-in and was able to get right in. Eva/Ava (I forgot her name) was professional and had a great personality. I’ve had a hard time finding an artist that was able to do a specific font. I was either told to choose a font style they showed me, or was told that what I wanted couldn’t be done like I wanted. My artist didn’t have any problems executing exactly what I wanted and I’m so happy to finally have my tattoo!! They have later hours and I definitely recommend trying them out.

3rd tattoo from this shop between the old & new location. Today was my first time in the new location, its really nice & wheelchair accessible! Service was great as always. I really like being engaged as another human with no BS instead of a customer the staff has to put on an exaggerated customer service facade to appease. These guys are always real, chill, and up front about everything and it makes me feel like I fit in right away. Ty only employs exemplary artists, so I trust everyone there with ink. Always fair pricing.

My friend also came to get her 2nd holes done in her ears as well as her very first tattoo!! I came in with a group of four 18 year-old girls - yikes, right? - but we were met with open arms, and got both genuine guidance and great banter out of the experience (and, of course, sick ink). I got my septum, bridge, and lip pierced here. Ty is very professional and knows what he’s doing. All piercings were a breeze and healed without any problem. I also got my forearm tattooed of a grim reaper, and the whole process was very smooth and clean. Ty is a master and I couldn’t recommend him more! Will definitely be going back.

I got my first tattoo here, and I couldn’t be happier. It was a very sentimental piece and Eva killed it. The colors turned out amazing. I was super nervous, but she made it like a walk in the park. I highly recommend here, and Eva as an artist! I will certainly be back!

The best cover up artist Ty, did an excellent job. No one would touch my horrible tattoo. Ty made it beautiful. He has also given me the best work ever. I am totally tattooed and believe his work is the highest quality available.

AMAZING ! i’ve never been pierced before so i was nervous, but ty and the entire staff made me feel comfortable and the actual piercing was quick and easy. would recommend for anyone, definitely would come back for any other piercing.

Aight so last night I happened to lose my 3-week old nose ring in my friends apartment. After losing it and finding it about seven times trying to put it back in.... we gave up. This time it was gone for good. A complete meltdown occurred as I called many shops in the area, all of which needed an appointment. JUST TO BUY THE JEWELRY. I called Fenix and a deep voice answered, I stated my question for the millionth time My nose ring fell out and I was wondering if you had any jewelry for sale? He replied, You can come in but I only got what I pierce with, nothin fancy or anything I said PERFECT I WILL BE RIGHT THERE and that I was.I walked in, the man from the phone introduced himself as Ty. He told his client it will be just a moment. As a first-time pierce-ee my sense of fear was written all over my face. He came over with an L-shaped ring with a ball and gently cleaned me up and helped get the new jewelry in. He asked me about my cleaning regimen and gave me new advice based off my specific needs. He was very knowledgeable in what was going on in my nose (we dont need to talk about it). I thanked him profusely, and well, I had the other side of my nose done as well so he replaced that one too! Im not gonna lie, my nose did not like the jewelry from before so it was pretty un-fun and a little painful and I can say that I probably wouldnt have been able to replace it myself. I could tell Ty just wanted to share his knowledge and experience with those who were less fortunate (me). I asked him what I owed him and he didnt let me pay. So here I am, expressing my EXTREME gratitude that I found a dude who really cares about healthy and happy body modifications. Ty deserves five stars and more. Showed up last minute with two people for piercings. One trek and one industrial. Was quick and provided great knowledge and process. Also had a great personality which made the experience awesome. Most definitely should go there for your piercing needs!!!!

Couldnt get a spot on the last day of the tattoo convention. After looking up a few late night shops my brother and I decided on this place and I was amazed. They made me feel welcome and likei was a part of the family from the moment I walked. Not too long of a wait, at all, for a walk-in and the tattoo turned out great and was priced just right. Me and my friend did a walk-in for nose piercings and Ty knows what he is talking about. He makes sure you are well informed before you even start and he shares the science behind the healing process to help you understand the dos and donts. Great experience, great guy.

My roommate and I got piercings here last winter. The dude was super condescending had a whole speech about how he was better than any other piercers in town and he had multiple degrees and everyone else did it wrong. I got a single third lobe piercing and my roommate got her traigas. Hers got infected and swollen within half a day and caused her so much pain she had to go to the doctor. Mine never got infected but when I went to get the jewelry changed, it was very painful and almost impossible and the man at the shop I went to (a different one, not Fenix) told me that not only did he pierce it from the wrong side but the piercing switched direction halfway through. Do not recommend getting pierced here.

The first time I went to Fenix was as an impulse walk in for a little banger. After a while I ended up showing Ty the absolute worst tattoo in the world and he said he could fix it! After a few sessions he managed to turn my horrible solid black tribal mess into a beautiful work of art. Over the years he has touched up a few other tattoos for me as well. I am always thrilled with his work. Fun shop to hang out in , cool chill staff with top skills. I hate going anywhere else now. Worth the drive down for this Canadian!

Today I walked into this shop as a tourist praying they could take a walk in (most shops in my area give serious attitude if you try to come in without an appointment) - they took me in quickly and without any attitude. Ty was friendly, informative and honest through the process. His artistry was great and so was his service. I always get nervous going To new shops but i have zero regrets about going here. I highly recommend Ty as an artist and Fenix as a shop and I’ve been getting tattooed for years

If I could leave a 0 star review I would, my piercer did not go over after care instructions yet did belittle every other piercer in the city. Marked my piercing location with a sharpie and stuck the needle in crooked so the entry and exit holes do not line up. Used a nonstandard gauge and didn’t tell us. That is just touching on the actual piercing experience. This dude kept looking up my skirt while piercing me and insulted/commented on the tattoos that were visible to him. After the jewelry was put in he told me that I could change it after 7-10 DAYS I didn’t think that was right but I did it anyways and it got so infected and inflamed that I thought I would lose an ear! The cleanliness standards are clearly not met and the LEAST he did was wear gloves and change needles between my friend and I. BEWARE

I had my newly done eyebrow piercing fall in the drain and I went in and they replaced and helped me so much! Gave me great information off my piercing I had before(done at another place) that it was a bad piercing and how they gave me an infection. Fenix is my now go to place!

Love this shop.brought 2 of my girls here in March for their first tattoos loved the work so much my husband and i came back for more tattoos they are so awsome and were very accommodating since we came from Eastern wash. I really appreciate all they were able to do.

They were awesome! I had my stomach dermal piercing halfway ripped out on a Tuesday evening playing basketball and I was freaking out because I had no idea what to do (I had the piercing for 8 years) and it was 10:00 pm on a week day. I tried a couple other tattoo/piercing places in my neighborhood but they werent able to help. So I called Fenix Tattoo, they were open and said they would be able to help me that evening. I went in there and they helped me right away. He was quick and talked me through the pain, as I was freaking out at the thought of him pulling it out. He then gave me ointment to reduce the scarring and didnt charge me for the removal. Thank you for being so nice and making an experience I was dreading since I got the dermal quick and easy!

This place was pretty sketchy. The piercer told me that he knew more about piercing and aftercare than any other piercer and then put a lip stud in my ear instead of traditional ear jewelry. It was too long and it was constantly catching in my hair until I was finally able to switch it out.

Just got butterfly tattoos on my forearm and side . Came out so beautiful! They are very talented, patient and great to work with. Customer service is 5/5 ! And open till 2 . We loved it

I got my 2nd lobe piercings done here and after he went on and on about how hes got so many certificates and degrees and how hes the best there is, my ears have been fighting infections since last November when I got them done AND THEY ARENT EVEN SPACED PROPERLY?! Does anyone else see this?? Im horrified! Just noticed when changing the original jewelry. I cant believe I paid for this.

My best friend and I went in to get our Tragus pierced together and I needed my nose redone. The piercer was incredibly pompous. He immediately started off by saying he was pre-med and had a real estate license and all these other non related certifications. Who cares?? He didnt ask if the position was good for either of us and when we asked to move it he shrugged it off like we were wrong for wanting it centered. When my best friend did hers his hand slipped and the clamp came off her ear leaving marks and blood. She asked him to clean it and he said oh its just red he blamed it on her for moving when in reality she never moved and he never even acknowledged his mistake. He was very rude and I wouldnt reccomend anyone going there. In wanting my nose redone it wasnt even fully closed and he charged a full amount ($60). We did not get to pick the gauge or the jewlerry like most places and his aftercare instructions were not on paper so you better listen closely as he guarantees it heals in 3 days. Uhm.. no. He belittles women and is again very arrogant.

My roommate and I went up here with the intent to start the process of gauging my ears. Instead we decided on beginning the process for his ears, the entire time we were there the piercer there was one of the smartest people I think I have ever met (and I dont mean that sarcastically). We talked science, math, health, and his experience as both a tattoo artist and piercer. He was funny as hell, fun to be around, and really knowledgeable. We live down in Lakewood but will be making the 1hr drive up to Fenix to continue sizing gauges and likely be there for tattoos in the future.Seriously you wont find a better staff especially if youre entirely new to the scene. I feel a little bad for being rowdy and obnoxious.

I came in for one thing and left with another. I had some cover up (upper arm blacked out) and I thought it was a lost cause. Ty, the owner, came and looked at it then after a couple hours I left with art that I never would have thought would come out on top of black work. Best tattoo yet. He also is a Jack of all trades and will talk to you about literally anything and know what he is saying.

Afterwards, I felt confident taking my daughter in to get her ears pierced and both of us could not be happier with our experiences. Tackle Boxx gave the best after care info, took the time to make sure we knew the process, expectations and was considerate and calming for my daughters first piecing. I had price shopped around Downtown Seattle for shops using a hollow needle and the pricing was totally comparable, not in any way over priced. I do not know who was there 3 years ago, but I highly recommend Tackle Boxx for your piercing needs; he is definitely experienced and professional.... Important qualities for such a procedure. The guy who pierced my daughter’s nose was so full of himself, he didn’t check in with her about the placement of the piercing enough.... when she said she thought it was too far back, he said that it was in the right place.... then he didn’t give her any written aftercare instructions or the ointment he said he would give her. He put down other people, which is a sign of a small person. I wouldn’t recommend it.

My fiancé and I got matching tattoos and it could not have been a better experience! We adore our tattoos and I am so happy we got the chance to work with Bianca(thebeeink). She made my first tattoo an absolute breeze! If you are looking for a tattoo do not pass on this place!

The piercing guy was really helpful and knowledgeable. Not pretentious either which is hard to come by with smart piercers haha.

They do a really great job at piercings and are really helpful if you ever need help with them afterwards (Ive been there twice after having jewelry fall out, my fault, and they have given me a new ball and made sure the jewelry was screwed in tight enough), great really nice people

Don’t suggest going here. he raves about his jewlery being top quality and belittles other shops. his jewlery is infact not high quality. it’s externally threaded and can cause infection, not worth $60.

The guy who pierced me and my friends was extremely creepy and then our cartilage piercings got super infected for months and months afterwards. Please do not go here for piercings, laughing Buddha is amazing though!

I went in to fenix on a whim one day and pretty much long story short the guy had to re-pierce one side of my lip because it was on my lip Line and it definetly hurt. He also said something about my tattoo across my chest and that it was crooked and whoever did it needed to get fired. 1 its not crooked and second off this guy shouldve been fired. I dont know about the tattoo work but based off my short stay Id give it 2 stars

NEVER GET PIERCINGS HERE! The piercings guy does not care about anything but money. He didnt use any clamps to pierce with and he pierced my belly button with an eyebrow ring! So of course it swelled over the little ring and got infected from that so we had to take it out. He didnt care about my health or how it would effect me. He just saw money. So please help yourself and go to another tattoo shop to get anything pierced.

First off u shouldn’t go anywhere that the piercer is a tattoo artist too. Not informative at all. My belly piercing was not done correctly and the ring that was used was unusual. Had to get it taken out. Go get pierced somewhere else

I walked in to see if there was something that could be done to help touch up my arm tattoo that was faded so much (brown/yellow ink) you couldnt read it, it was my moms handwriting about 5 years old.Tackle-Boxx looked at it, offered to go over it in black but said it MIGHT not match the handwriting because of how unreadable it was. It needed help in the worst way so even if it didnt match 100%, I was ok with it and I also chose to add on a flower off to the side. Tackle-Boxx helped me chose a flower that wasnt tacky and that would hold up well over time. Once in the chair and under the light he traced the lettering with a pen and double checked that I was happy how it all turned out before we started. My tattoo is substantially better and my flower looks great too! I really relied on Tackle-Boxx and his opinion a lot when we started discussing options because he does this every day, he knows what holds up and gave me honest expectations. 5 Stars over and over again to this man!
