From Ashes Tattoo

Ghost and Jinx were wonderful. This was my first tattoo and my husband and I wanted to get something special together. Ghost and Jinx collaborated with us on the perfect design. Ghost’s work is amazing and we look forward to coming back for another tattoo whenever we’re in Seattle. If you’re local or planning a trip to Seattle I highly recommend them!

Wow, just wow. My family and I were in Seattle for my twin sisters and my birthday and I was really debating on getting a new tattoo. We walked past this place and ultimately decided to go in because of their flash sale. It was an amazing experience. Ghost did my tattoo and I really really enjoyed it. It was super professional and he designed the tattoo with me in the lobby. Jinx was super duper nice and felt like a best friend I’ve had all my life and my tattoo turned out so good. And the absolute coolest was that it was Ghosts birthday too and while I was waiting on my sister he fixed a jacked up tattoo for me for free which I thought was soo amazing. I would rate this store wayyy higher if I could keep up your guys good work. I will be back to get more work done without a doubt.

I didn’t get a tattoo from this person. However, i received a message on instagram on the official account/website for this studio. The first message was commenting on a story, not out of the ordinary. The second dm, was an emoji (🥵) in response to a picture of myself saved in the highlights.Considering that they are exhibiting this behavior towards a stranger, from the official page, it makes me concerned on how they could be treating clients. Especially those receiving tattoos in vulnerable locations.Their message was not professional, and could be considered predatory. I would not trust this person with a permanent body modification.

The tattoo turned out better than expected due to the artist’s outstanding pride in his work. Everything about my visit was the best, all the artists have knockout personalities and really care about their customers :•)

I went in last night to just look at some flash but I was impressed with the book and I had a tattoo that needed fixing.. the artist had time so I had it done right then.. amazing tattoo fix.. Ill definitely be returning for more work

Ive attempted to visit the place a handful of times whike in the neighborhood and theyre never open during their listed business hours. After talking with several people in the neighborhood and learning sbout their lack if proper sanitstion and the fact that they are living out of their tattoo studio, i will not ever be spending my hard earned money here.

If I could leave less stars I would. Consistently have shown lack of respect for the people putting their body on the line for their career. They do not take sanitation seriously, and have stolen many artists works. They leave bio hazard trash out in the open in the back parking lot on the daily. They lack integrity and morals. Save yourself the time and money and go to an artist that will tell you his real name and give his real portfolio.

Popped in for a quick drop in piece on a whim. Staff was super chill and friendly. Jynx was attentive and took the simple piece seriously. Super happy with the end result! Will converse w them again on another piece in the future! -🖖

Popped in last night for a flash tattoo with my girlfriend. Great energy, great tattoo, great time. Highly recommended!!

She was amazing came in with a budget and she went above and beyond! Would definitely go ahead if I’m ever in Seattle again.

EDIT: Because I used to apprentice here, the owners are trying to remove this review as if it is a conflict of interest or something similar. However, there is no conflict of interest, I only make it known that one of the many reasons I decided to leave this shop is because of the health and safety risks they cause and the lack of respect towards others.The owners Sean (Ghost) and Dani (Jinx) show absolutely zero respect for the people who work or apprentice there, as well as having NO respect for proper health and safety precautions. Over the course of barely 2 months open, an employee has quit, two separate people have declined an apprenticeship after seeing the state of the way the shop is run, and unfortunately I myself have also had to leave because I couldnt handle the lack of respect or safety. They consistently have piles of biohazardous trash tucked in the back near the bathroom, and have not implemented any form of proper trash removal services, so much of it will end up either in the alley or in the apartment building dumpster nearby, which leads to biohazard waste ending up in the alley shortly after. Unfortunately my personal experience when attempting to have a sit-down conversation with the two of them about how to remedy some of these things, I was met with being cussed at via text instead. This business is a major risk to your health and a bloodborne pathogen disaster waiting to happen. For two owners attempting to build up a new business, all theyve done so far is burn bridges. Keep your safety in mind and take your business somewhere else that ensures your health and safety are a priority.
