Wow what an amazing experience. All staff are friendly, welcoming., and professional. The environment is clean and it feel so comfortable when youre there. Megan did an amazing job on my daughters first tattoo and my tattoo as well cuz I had an idea of what I wanted but she took my idea and made it a vision that exceeded my expectation. We are definitely excited how the results turn out, but most importantly the tattoo artist listen to what we really wanted and delivered! Definitely coming here again!

This was by far the best tattoo experience Ive ever had. Ping is a true artist. Ive never been more impressed with any work Ive ever gotten done. I absolutely love it. Ping paid so much attention to detail and I felt she really cared about making this piece awesome and indeed it is.Ping has a very calming and kind presence. The moment I walked into the studio I felt at ease. As I was deciding placement, Ping gave her input and there wasnt at all a rushed moment during the entire process, something that stands out from my experiences elsewhere.

I’ve been following PingPing on Instagram (@inkprick) for sooo long and have been a huge fan of her art. I finally got an appointment with her and she was SO helpful and accommodating for my request! She switched my appointment to accommodate for a bigger piece on her day off!I got to the studio and it was so clean and bright - it even smelled clean! She was so prepared with my idea/request already drawn up with sizing options. I got a sternum tattoo and I was SHOCKED she got the perfect placement the first time with the complexity of the placement.She made me as comfortable as she could with the placement and the time I sat for… respected my request for breaks when I needed, etc. The tattoo turned out better than I could have ever imagined!Besides her being so sweet and prepared, the other people in the shop were also so respectful and encouraging! I had my chest exposed for the tattoo and never felt awkward about it. Other tattooers would come by and admire the work and help me a bit through the pain! Towards the end, PingPing was also saying things like “you got this” and other little encouraging things that really helped me sit.It was overall an incredible experience and I couldn’t recommend this studio enough! PingPing is amazing but all the artists at the shop seems so kind and have amazing talent. It truly speaks for itself!

Love the clean and lovely vibe of the shop. The studio is located off of 1st Avenue and spring which is pretty close to Pikes Place Market. This made it convenient while we were visiting Seattle. I had already parked at the pikes garage that morning, so it was a quick 5-10 minute walk down the street.Miyuki my artist was such a doll to work with. I initially emailed her ahead of time to reserve time for our booking. When her booking list opened up we got a time that would work since I was only traveling in for the week. Her contact information and portfolio can be found on her Instagram.She was very receptive to communication via email and kept me updated every step of the way. She worked on proofs for our project and had it ready by the time of our appointment.During the process, she made sure I stayed hydrated and made sure I was comfortable. We took breaks as needed since my project took several hours. The work was crisp, sharp and I was very happy with the final result.Check out NieU Studio! I went in for a tattoo with Hep and I am still on cloud 9. We initially started with a placement appointment to see how the stencil would look and to see if any adjustments were needed. Especially since it was a large piece that needed to move with the body. This was a great opportunity to also get to know Hep and I feel like we connected so quickly. He’s incredibly kind and very personable. He also told me what to expect and to eat a big meal prior to my tattoo appointment because it makes the experience more tolerable. On the day of the tattoo appointment, he had a privacy screen set up and everything was so clean. I feel the need to add that the placement of the tattoo goes from my ribs down to mid thigh. Which means needing to wear appropriate bottoms to allow for a seamless tattoo experience. That being said, I felt very comfortable and safe with him. He always made sure to check in to see how I was feeling and if I needed to take any breaks. He also asked if I wanted some snacks (which I gratefully accepted!) I couldn’t recommend Hep more. He is by far one of the best artists/tattooists I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Hep, I wish you all the best in your career!

I was lucky enough to win the giveaway and receive this custom floral tattoo from Ping! Ping is amazing at what she does and really made me feel comfortable at my appointment. She got the sizing and placement perfect for my tattoo and was super patient with me when I asked questions. The environment is also really neat and professional, such a relaxing and pleasant place to get your tat at! Would definitely recommend to everyone, 100/10 service and work! :)

Found NieU Studio after an instagram search. So happy I did. My artist, Hep (instagram @hep_aom) was amazing. My tattoo turned out exactly as perfect as the drawing. I am thrilled. Hep was professional, knowledgeable, and he is very talented.The studio itself is immaculate! Very modern, peaceful, and welcoming. It also smelled really good! I was greeted within seconds of walking through the door. I would absolutely come back to NieU for another tattoo.

Absolutely love this place! I was lucky enough to work with Mika (@mika.z.tattoo), who did a custom piece for me. Throughout the process she was so communicative and considerate. She put the idea I had in my head onto my arm better than I could have ever hoped. Everyone who works here is so immensely talented as you can see if you look at their IG, and I felt so lucky to have Mika be my artist! Her style is so detailed and beautiful, exceeding my expectations. I will definitely book ahead and be back the next time I’m in Seattle.

I had an amazing experience with PingPing getting a tattoo with my best friend! We booked about three months in advance, and since we needed to agree on the tattoo design and are both new to tattoos, we communicated regularly with PingPing with slight tweaks to our original design idea and asked her loads of questions. She was so patient with us and then presented us with exactly the design we’d had in mind leading into our appointment! The shop itself is in a brand new, absolutely beautiful space reminiscent of a modern art gallery. And the other tattoo artists and apprentices were so lovely to interact with — I loved the energy when they’d come over to see the tattoo progress, and they seemed genuinely hyped for us about how beautifully the tattoos were turning out! I don’t live in Seattle, but I’d have no hesitations flying there to get a tattoo again. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Getting my tattoo done at Nieu Studio was one of the best experiences that I could ever ask for. Right when I entered the staff was very friendly and welcoming. As I sat down and waited they made sure that I was comfortable. By the time it was time to review my piece my artist, Wayne, made sure it was to my liking and asked if I wanted to make any changes. The final product was incredible. I will get my future tattoos done here again!

Second tattoo with Ping and both times have been phenomenal. She’s super detail oriented and really took her time to get me exactly what I wanted. Shes one of the most talented artists out there. Studios super clean and comfortable! Definitely going back for more work soon!

I had the honor of being tattooed by Ping. The ambience of this tattoo shop is pure peace, elegance and calm. The parking was the only difficult process of this appointment but what do you expect from seattle parking. Besides that, Ping truly catered to my half sleeve, she incorporated all the elements I wanted and gave me advice to make the tattoo at its very best. It was not only great being tattooed by Ping but I appreciated the conversation we shared, it didnt feel forced or awkward, she was truly genuine in communicating with her client as well as her tattoo design. I felt so comfortable that I had genuinely fallen asleep during our appointment! I also have to add that I am so glad Ping wipes tattoo with a soft wet paper towel, the wiping is always satisfying especially if its done right, I cant explain how awful it is if you get a wipe from a dry paper towel! I really couldnt be happier with my tattoo, I look forward to coming back to Ping to add on or complete my sleeve. I highly recommend this business as well as all the artists, next Id love to get an appointment with Eden! I can tell this business is defnintely going to prosper and succeed! I just received my 5th tattoo from Ping today! Ive known her for 2 years now and have not gone to see anyone else since then. Her attention to detail is outstanding! She is able to do multiple styles, her lines are very clean, she takes her time understanding what you want, and ends up giving you a design much better than what you expected! She just keeps getting better through time! Her studio is very private, so no worrying about other people especially during the pandemic and shes very clean with her tools and workspace as well. If youre considering getting a tattoo, you wont have any regrets going to her as the entire process is very smooth right from the beginning till the end. She gets booked pretty quickly but the wait is all worth it!

I’ve been seeing Miyuki since she first started. It’s an awesome, clean, safe feeling tattoo studio. The way they have everything set up makes you feel like you are in an artistic place. Everyone is so kind and talented. Couldn’t recommend more!!!

My partner and I have been hunting a place to get coordinating fine line color tattoos. Since we were planning to visit Seattle in the fall, I did some research and NieU Studio came up. By a wild stroke of luck, PingPing was opening her books three days later. We submitted our proposal and got accepted! When we arrived at the studio, it felt so fresh and clean and open. Very calming, not overstimulating at all. PingPing was super professional and friendly and she went over our designs carefully to make sure they were exactly what we wanted. Since this was both my partner and my first tattoos, she also walked us through the process and made sure we knew we could ask for breaks, water, etc. I could not be more happy with how the tats turned out. Besides the artistic professionalism, I also appreciated how easy and relaxing she made the atmosphere, and the COVID precautions she took and had the rest of us take as well. I felt safe and comfortable the whole time. Cannot recommend PingPing highly enough!

Ping is incredible!!! So down to earth and super professional. The studio is neat, clean, and her work is top notch. Absolutely worth the wait to get into her books! She killed the design for my piece and I couldn’t be more happy with the result, and she listens very closely to what you want. I felt super comfortable and the attention to every detail is stellar. She also checks in with you to make sure you are feeling alright and will let you know what parts may be more sensitive before she gets to them. My piece flows so well with the curve of my shoulder/arm, and I would see her again and again every time! :)

Ping Ping is such a talented artist. Her studio is gorgeous, clean, comfortable and she was extremely professional to work with. The tattoos she gave me were exactly what I was wanting and hoping for, I absolutely love them. Her studio was calm, clean, and relaxing and she was very quick with her work— I was done with two smaller tattoos in under two hours, and even with the quickness no quality was sacrificed. The studio itself is so clean & calm, a great atmosphere to be in. I had the privilege to get tattooed by Miyuki. I’ve been eyeing her work online, but her art is even more amazing in person. I recently got a tattoo done by Ping and it was a great experience! It was my first tattoo and all of the ladies were so nice and welcoming. The studio is beautiful and clean and the music they choose to play is upbeat yet relaxing. The design process was very organic and Ping adjusted the design to best fit my body/shape and used a freehand technique to connect the main elements of my tattoo. She did a phenomenal job! I’m so glad I got on her books and can’t recommend her enough!!

Ive gotten two tattoos from Ping and I refuse to go to anyone else. Her books fill up fast but she is so worth the wait!! She is amazing! Her lines are so clean and her work is so detailed! She showed me three different sizes of the phoenix tattoo I wanted so that I had options. Ping took her time tattooing me and preparing for it. I felt safe, comfortable, and respected. She was so understanding with the details I wanted in my design and she perfected it with ease, when I first saw the design I was taken back by how beautiful it was and was speechless when it was completed. PingPing is awesome! She was ready to go when I got there and did a really great detailed job with not only my tattoo but she was very precise when placing the stencil. She is INCREDIBLY fast at tattooing! I got two thigh pieces done in two hours and the detail is amazing! She was definitely worth waiting for to book with.

Ping is ABSOLUTELY amazing. I found her a few years ago and she did a small tattoo on my wrist. I went back and got three done in one sitting In August 2020. The atmosphere of her studio is so calming and reminds me of a spa - pretty amazing for a 5 hour tattoo sesh. She had no problem making changes and adjustments to the size/positioning of my pieces and giving her opinion when asked. She drew my side piece directly on my leg and it turned out better than I ever could have expected. I absolutely will be going back to get my next one. She is amazing and worth the wait and every penny!!!!

My son and I wanted to get tattoos together. I have several tattoos, but it would be my sons first, so I spent a lot of time researching artists. I am so glad we chose Ping! We couldnt be happier! The studio is clean, relaxing and professional with easy parking. We were tattooed in the midst of the COVID pandemic and Ping was careful to adhere to all guidelines for the health and safety of all of us. Her art is extraordinary! She created exactly what we hoped for with not much more than a description of what we wanted to capture. Plus she tattoos remarkably fast! I was shocked how quickly she finished our work. I would recommend Ping and NieU Studio to anyone and Im so proud to wear Pings art on my body!

Ping is such an amazing artist! This is now my second piece from her. My first once I got from her in October 2019, it’s healed so beautifully and I get so many compliments on it all the time. My second piece was a large one stretching across my thigh and up my side. I was blown away by the amount of detailing Ping had put into my tattoo. She is a true artist, I love how she goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy with your tattoo. She is also so kind and sweet, through each of my tattoos she would ask me if I needed a break, and never hesitated when I took her up on that. Will keep coming back and recommending people! Pings work makes you feel empowered in your own skin!

I recently finished up my third session with ping. She has great attention to detail, does an amazing job and loves to tattoo! I was supposed to have my sleeve finished in April but covid happened and it was postponed. Through the time it was postponed she was communicative and reliable on when she could finish my tattoo once it was safe and in phase two. She made sure the studio was cleaned and sanitized, along with checking my temperature before I walked in. Highly recommend ping and this lovely studio!

I met Ping while she was working at a different shop by walking in and she did two small tattoos for me. I then followed her to her current studio and got a few more.Not only is Ping professional, super clean, and does such great work; she also really cares for you. Never once have I felt uncomfortable or unhappy being with her. If you are looking for someone to tattoo you, I would really recommend going to Ping, totally worth it! ❤️

The studio was very clean and professional. Everything is sanitized, everyone wears masks, etc to make sure both parties are safe and healthy. Which is especially important during this time. But Ping’s work is amazing. She’s very communicative which makes her easy to work with and she listens to your ideas so that you get what you want. All my tattoos are from her because I love the style she uses. And I would always recommend her because of my experience with her.

My experience here was amazing, the location is so nice and the parking was free all day. Also Ping was so kind, checking in and making sure I was comfortable throughout the whole day. Even though my appointment was long (because I was getting a large tattoo) she was so kind and professional. Also the tattoo is amazing, exactly what I wanted and better than I could have even imagined. I would recommend her to anyone that asks. I would 100% get another tattoo done by her!

It shouldn’t have taken me this long to write a review for the incredible tattoo experience I had with PingPing. Getting your first tattoo is already a nerve wracking experience, so getting one alone (due to Covid restrictions) can be even scarier. PingPing not only made me feel safe, but she ensured that even if I felt nervous to speak up her standard of perfectionism was too high to not take any slight concern seriously. The studio itself is extremely clean and it felt like a sanitary environment. During the actual tattoo, she answered all my questions and talked to me the whole time, keeping me distracted from any feeling of pain. Even more incredible was that after the tattoo was over she showed me photos of what to look for in a future tattoo artist for my next piece of body art. Well I have no interest in going to anyone else for my next tattoo and will definitely be ready the moment her books open. Thank you PingPing for a wonderful experience! I had colors added to my small tattoo on my forearm yesterday. I was having cold feet in her studio even I had done research on the colors and styles that I wanted for weeks before the appointment. Ping sat me down and patiently explained to me different color options and designs. Before long she came up with the best colors and abstract “Koi fish”design added to my “faith” tattoo. I love it! And guess what? My wife and kid who were totally against tattoos love it too! I may come back for more. Ping, please get ready for my next appointment!

I’ve known Ping for about three years now, she has done EVERY tattoo on my body. She’s hands down the best artist I have ever seen in my life and personally I am blessed to call her a friend and to still get tattoos from her. Everywhere I go if it’s the gym, the mall or even the grocery store I get people asking about my tattoos and where they can go to get tattooed by Ping. Aside of her being the best tattoo artist ever, she is also very clean and professional and is always on time and makes you feel comfortable during every session. My boyfriend and I got a tattoo with Wayne to memorialize a friend of ours that recently passed. We cannot recommend Wayne or NieU studio enough. Wayne was so patient and professional with us; she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. So excited to hear they are opening a Capital Hill location! Been following Ping for years now and love that she has her own private studio. Quiet and clean with a secured entrance. The intricate details she puts in her designs are sought after. Ive recently completed my back piece after almost 2 years and I cant believe it started as a cover up! She seamlessly integrated the cover up with the new design. Her schedule fills up fast so be on the lookout for when her books open!

I absolutely love my Tatoo from Ping. She was great communicating about rescheduling due to the lockdown. I was able to send a few inspiration pics and she drew something incredible for me. She’s an incredible artist and did quite a bit of my Tatoo free-hand. I’m so happy with it and I love the style of the studio as well. I would be so grateful to go back and get more work done!

My entire experience at Nieustudio was great! The studio was really lovely and very clean (so important always, but espiecially during a pandemic). My tattoo was finished in no time and I experienced very little pain (a sign of an experienced and thoughtful tattoo artist). The design was also beautiful and created after just a few email exchanges. It was exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend NieU Studio for all of your tattoo needs!
