I went to Justin for my first tattoo ever, and it was such a great experience. He listened attentively as I described what I wanted, and he sketched out a beautiful tattoo. He has some amazing artistic ability! His shop is very clean, and the tattooing process was relaxed and professional. I’m really pleased with the crisp lines and realistic design of my tattoo, and will definitely be back to have more added to it!

Justin is just an amazing artist and person in general. We just started the long process of completely covering up both of my full sleeves. The raven he started is absolutely amazing! Were two sessions in and I cant wait to see where it goes. I have also gotten two pices of his art work. One that was done already and one he made custom for a christmas gift from my wife. Both are as amazing as his ink work. Thank you brother for the time, effort, and detail!

Justin is the owner and I was fortunate to have him as my artist. He is very creative and patient during the design phase. He takes great pride in his craft and is all about giving you the best experience. Amazing attention to detail. I have had so many compliments on my tattoo.

My 4th tattoo from Justin. His work is unmatched. He takes your ideas and brings them to life. I’ve truthfully enjoyed my experience from start to finish. Not only do you get exactly what you ask for, Justin makes sure you’re comfortable and is excellent at conversation. He even lets you pick your playlist during your session. Hit him up! You wont be disappointed.

Nikki is seriously amazing! She put my mind at ease by really taking the time to make sure the tattoo and stencil placement was perfect (a detailed mandala), and also by changing her gloves often whenever she touched anything. She is also really easygoing and nice to chat with for a couple hours while your stuck in the chair! I love my new tattoo.

His workshop makes you feel at home and welcome the second you walk through the door, like your visiting a friend at his art studio. He has a number of his painting adorning the walls showcasing his true talent. You will get his full attention during your consultation as well as throughout your time spent. He does not disappoint

I have had a lot of work done by owner Justin. I love his artwork style. My full sleeve has brought me more joy than most things I have purchased in my lifetime. It is loaded with everything I wanted, and turned out even better than I had envisioned when planning it.

Justin Johnson is amazing! He’s done great cover work and used his art skills to create what I wanted from my random descriptions! I’m constantly stopped at-least 2-3 times a month to find out who did my art work; studio, artist name etc. I only trust him!!! Pic of what he’s done and what I want him to fix. Mouse is a fantastic artist. She redesigned and improved the desired art. Im so glad I used a couple of hours to track down Seattle Ink & Oil for my next tattoo.Justin welcomed me and took his time to discuss the project I had in mind, and he quickly understood my idea, which he carried out to perfection.We had to rearrange the placement of where the tattoo should be a few times, because I wasnt totally sure. But he had nothing but patience with me and made it clear that it was important we got it right.Also, Justin is very experienced with more than a decade of tattooing (and he does amazing oil paintings, too), not to mention that hes an empathetic, easy-going person.The place is a bit hard to find, and I couldnt find a sign outside of the Seattle Ink & Oils door. But trust be, its totally worth it to use that extra minute to locate it!Last, it was such a nice touch after Justin learned about the story of my project, which is a line from an Alice in Chains song written on my left arm. He found a grunge playlist that we listened to, while talking about the era of grunge, while I was getting a grunge tattoo in the city that have birth to it all. I loved that!Absolutely five out of five stars from me!

Justins tattooing is amazing. I got a back piece and so impressed with his skill, thoughtfulness and design considerations. Hes also an impressive painter.

This shop is incredibly clean and the tattoo artists all take safety very seriously. Sierra was my tattoo artist and she was super gentle with my rib tattoo! My tattoo looks amazing and is healing well. I love her shading and the flowers look like artistic sketches. Very impressed! Definitely worth the wait and money. No wonder she books out months ahead of time!

I have been a client now of this shop for 4 years. The amazing reviews along w/ the work portfolio of my artist Sierra was the reason I chose it. Extremely clean, professional, friendly staff. (All the artists and the owner Justin). To name a few. Since covid they have taken such a great approach. Sierra is one of a kind. Someone who is extremely dedicated & takes such pride in her work. I consider myself lucky to have found this place & Sierra. I cannot say enough how amazing this shop is!

Ink and Oil was amazing! The tattoo looks beautiful, the rate is super reasonable, and Sierra, the artist who did the tattoo, was so wonderful! She was flexible with booking, drew up the design for us, even let us add color to the black and white floral design, the day of the appointment. She was fast and did really clean work! The place a really cool vibe too, with art everywhere and music playing. I would definitely go here again.

I came in to Seattle Ink and Oil to get a full sleeve done by Mouse, and I couldn’t be happier. She did such an amazing job. All I had was the koi fish and the owl and she turned it into something that I will love and cherish forever. She was unbelievably pleasant and fun to spend hours and hours with over 4 sessions. I can’t recommend Mouse enough. The whole shop was very clean and had a great vibe to it. If you’re even considering getting a tattoo, big or small, ask for Mouse!!!

I got a piece done by Sierra (two mandalas with foliage framing it) on my back. I cannot being to explain how incredible of an experience I had working with Sierra (as well as the other staff at Seattle Ink and Oil). I have a few other smaller pieces by various local artists, and my experience with those companies dont even compare to Seattle Ink & Oil. Sierras passion and creativity exceeded my expectations for the design. She created a piece that was beautiful, feminine, and flattering. Seattle Ink & Oil has outstanding customer service- always a friendly face to say hello, and fun conversation with great music to get you through sessions that dont feel so great. I will forever use Seattle Ink & Oil for my tattoos, and cannot wait to have more ink from Sierra. If you are looking for art, creativity and unique designs- get a tattoo from any of the artists.

Love Seattle Ink & Oil. Its super clean, they follow covid guidelines/protocols, and the space has such a cool vibe (its in the old Rainier Brewery building!). Ive had several pieces done by Mouse, and I am beyond happy with how theyve turned out. Shes such a talented artist, and I have complete trust in her to bring my tattoos to life.

Justin is amazing!! He took my idea and really brought it to life. I have one session left and I will be both happy and sad that it is complete. I will recommend him to every one! I will post pictures when it is done.
