I came in for a consultation that I had wanted, they fit me in same day, which I wasn’t expecting knowing that they are a popular shop I was expecting a wait time. My tattoo was a line work design, no color or shading, my session was about 90 min. After everything was done and finished, photos taken, that I had taken a deeper look and realized that the line work was damn near flawless the artist got every detail that was on the reference photo. Which I wasn’t expecting, I was expecting some sort of altercation or for it to be a little off but no, he did every detail down to a T. Worth every penny and would absolutely trust them with larger pieces. My artist was Tako. Great shop with no complaints what’s so ever.
Very clean and comfortable shop. All the employees were super friendly and chill. I saw Camy who is new to the area and she did great work and was easy to work with. Highly recommend the artist and shop
As an avid collector of pieces of fine art, I took my time looking for an artist whose work I really admired. After 8 years of looking in Seattle I found Dave’s portfolio and knew he was the one I wanted to commission for my piece. Not everyone is up for a cover up so I’m thankful Dave was because I absolutely love what I got. This tattoo has a lot of meaning for me and to tell him I trust his process and what he develops from the idea I have is an amazing ordeal to watch. What he developed was more than I could have imagined and I absolutely love it. For me, part of the experience is seeing how the artist interprets my idea and makes it an incredible piece of original art. Allowing them full artistic liberty and trusting they know what they’re doing is a big part of why they do what they do, they get ample opportunity to express themselves and to share with the world. Yes it’s the recipient’s concept most of the time, but it’s the artist’s piece.Dave, thank you for gifting me something that means so much. It was an epic journey with you and I appreciate all I learned while in your company. Great conversation! You always made me feel very comfortable and welcome, had me laughing a lot, and I deeply appreciate your shared love for chihuahuas. Your art is truly amazing and anyone who is tattooed by you is receiving a treasure. 🙏🏻♥️☺️The shop is awesome as well. Nice space, very clean, love the design, the plants are very nice as well. The other artists and lovely staff are all very kind and fun to have conversations with. Location is sweet for people watching, and there is plenty happening to keep you entertained. 10/10 recommend.
Love this shop so much and I am grateful for Jaco’s talent. I have beautiful body art because of him.
The wife and I both came here on separate days to get work done by Lindsey Rhoades. We were both very pleased with our finished tattoos and would highly recommend Lindsey for anyone looking for a great artist who knows what shes doing!
Excellent experience! I saw Jaco who did an amazing job designing a tattoo with very little to go on from me aside from general concept. Super patient and skilled, the result far exceeded what I thought possible - thank you!!!
Went here with my daughter on a whim during a recent trip to Seattle. One if the artists had a cancellation so we were able to get in with no wait. The staff was super friendly and the artist, Tim Bradley did great work at a decent price.
Tony is a true professional and highly skilled artist. The shop diligently follows all cleanliness and COVID protocols.
Mandy is amazing. I originally asked for a few simple words and she drew a design that wrapped the words into a very cool design. Was quoted 2-3 hours and she finished in two hours.
Ive only been to one place here in Seattle and probably wont go to another until I move again. Lindsey is awesome, and as someone who doesnt treat permanent skin decorations as something to shop around for, she will be the only person I get ink from in Seattle. Highly recomend.
The shop is neat, clean and has a great ambiance. Bruce Rivera did my work and it came out perfect.
Best artists in the city, hands down. I get compliments on the work they’ve done on me on a regular basis and I recommend them to everyone. Talented and kind and all around great spot. Go there now!
Both myself and my fiancé have recently received tattoos at Slave to the Needle, both of which were performed by Janet. Our experiences were fantastic. She did such a good job of making us feel comfortable as both of us were getting our first tattoo. Her art is great, and we both got exactly what we wanted. The shop staff is friendly and helpful throughout the whole process.
Eli is incredible with his line and dot work! Hes charismatic, easy to talk to, and really cares about his work and making sure the client leaves happy. Im beyond happy with my hop design he created for me. Thanks, Eli!!
I came here for a cover up tattoo with Lance. He did a panther portrait over a faded traditional style mountain. I gave him a reference photo and he gave me exactly what I asked for, he charges $200 an hour which is pretty competitive with other realism artists.
I have no beef with the shop but they made the unfortunate decision to let KYLE DEVRIES rent a spot. If you value your time and money do not use him. I had no other platform to warn people about his lack of professionalism and scheduling so unfortunately this tattoo shop takes the hit. I’ve never used them before this last “session” with Kyle.Summary: several sessions months apart were scheduled cancelled and moved between multiple shops. I was very patient until he completely ignored me for months needing literally 10mins of work done (not sure why he didn’t just finish while I was there). Felt like he was trying to kill me for every penny I would give him. I tipped the first 2 sessions(back to back weekend) but he said he’d finish for free… got charged again but that’s whatever then said he’d finish for free again and was ghosted for months. It is a shoulder piece… I’m paying someone else to color in the other eye since that is all that is left. Art was great and that’s why I’ve payed thousands of dollars. I feel like I was scammed at this point. 😂🤑Two stars because the shop is caught in the crossfire.
Apparently punctuality is critical with piercer Kali. We didn’t know they had a strict 10-min late policy. We were 13 min late and she turned us away, despite me apologizing and explaining it was my teen’s actual bday today and we came over from an island. She said she needs to value her own time. I get that, but a little empathy and flexibility would go a long way. We’ve been here in the past and they do quality work. But today was a huge disappointment and I’m unlikely to return.
Cannot beat the quality of service here. Worth every penny. Elijah Coles line work is on point . I wouldnt go anywhere else for script, black and grey, or small intricate designs.
I have a lot of tattoos and I think these were some of the nicest, most approachable artists and staff Ive encountered at a tattoo shop. We had a great experience and love the piece Frank did for my friend and I.
Theres a reason why Slave is a Seattle staple. Tattoo shops are a dime a dozen in this city, but rarely will you find such a great group of artists and staff. Ive been tattooed by both Tony and Frank and those experiences have been some of the best Ive had while getting tattooed. The uniqueness of their stories is only exceeded by the quality of their work and the counter staff are always helpful and friendly. Slave is always the shop I recommend to others upon request. Just be sure to book early as they fill up fast!
I love everything about this place! First off, its the first place I think of when I think of Seattle and Tattoos. The professionalism of everyone working in this establishment is outstanding. The music is great, the ambiance is just classic tattoo shop. Comfortable, established, but also no BS. No surprises in the prices, no diva tattooers...just tattooing like it should be done. It appears that all of the tattooers are talented and professional, but I personally had an amazing experience with Dave Bryant. I couldnt be happier with the whole experience. I feel really good about how I was treated, and I even walked away feeling like I got a great deal...especially when you factor in the talent and experience of my tattooer. And, get this...He did it for charity! Ive honestly never walked into a less pretentious shop, even though if any shop had the right to be pretentious, it would be this one. I wish I could give Slave to the Needle extra stars, because 5 is not enough!
I loved my experience here! My artist was Janet and she was amazing! I highly recommend them.
Great place to go as long as your not picky about design or color. shop was clean. I asked for a rain cloud with Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet, ROYGBIV, The design that I provided had 8 lines, The person giving me the tattoo said he would just add in some other colors, I told him, no, lets just drop one line and stick to ROYGBIV only. No extra colors. He confirmed ROYGBIV. and now I have ROYGBBI and a dot of V. If you just wanted a tattoo to get one and no request sure, go for it. Otherwise I would take caution.
Slave to the Needle.. Lets begin shall we?My experience at Slave to the Needle tattoo shop left much to be desired (and that is an understatement). As a nearby local, I thought that this was a no brainer when it came to receiving a new tattoo. Despite the shops reputation and popularity, I encountered several frustrations that greatly impacted my overall satisfaction.Upon arrival, I was informed about the extensive waiting list, which was incredibly disheartening.Over 2 months?? Goodness. I have been to many tattoo shops, but never with a waiting period of that magnitude. The fact that they had such a long queue indicated that they were in high demand, but it also raised questions about their ability to manage appointments effectively. The lengthy waiting period suggested a lack of organization or insufficient staffing. Either way.. wasnt the best of starts.Adding to the disappointment, I was informed that Slave to the Needle only specialized in classic tattoo styles and did not have artists available for the specific style I desired. Instead, I was directed to their website, where I was instructed to reach out to artists from their sister shops who could potentially accommodate my request. Unfortunately, despite making contact with over 15 artists, I only received a reply from 2. This lack of response left me feeling ignored and undervalued as a potential client. The poor communication and lack of follow-through were particularly frustrating. It seemed as though the shop was not interested in my business or in providing me with the service I was seeking. The unresponsiveness of the artists I reached out to only further reinforced this perception. While I understand that shops may have limitations in terms of available artists and styles, it is essential for them to communicate this clearly and manage customer expectations accordingly. In my case, the inability to provide the desired tattoo style coupled with the unresponsiveness of the artists left me feeling disappointed and unappreciated as a potential customer. It is crucial for tattoo shops to prioritize effective communication and provide alternative solutions when they are unable to meet customer needs. Unfortunately, Slave to the Needle fell short in these areas, leading to a subpar experience overall. Not something I was hoping, especially from a shop that is so highly reviewed. I am sure I wouldve felt in the art category they were great.. if I ever received a response. And I am sure the people there are wonderful..however, I never seemed to have gotten that chance. In summary, my visit to Slave to the Needle was marred by a lengthy waiting list, a limited range of tattoo styles, and poor communication from the artists associated with their sister shops. These shortcomings left me feeling ignored and dissatisfied with the level of service I received. I hope the shop takes steps to improve their communication and customer engagement to ensure a more positive experience for future clients. Seems I was just a slave to the disappointment.
Ive never had a bad experience here. Ive worked with Lance for 6 or 7 sessions now and hes always been great. Very patient with reworking old tattoos to redesign them better, and he did fantastic on a new design on his own.
I have been coming here routinely for the past year. 5 visits total. It is always a great experience. Very helpful front staff, incredible artists, clean environment while sti feeling like a traditional shop. If you are looking at getting a tattoo in Seattle, definitely give Slave To The Needle a call.
Ive been to both of Slaves locations and between myself and my brothers weve seen four of their artists over the years. What keeps us coming back is the absolute dedication to quality of work. Everyone is nice, every visit includes laughs and good conversation, but this is a tattoo shop, if you want the permanent modifications to your body to be of the highest quality you cant go wrong with anyone that works here. Something that I think really speaks to the character and dedication to quality of these artists is that they wont hesitate to refer you to someone else if they think a different artist can do a better job of bringing your idea to life.
Got two large arm tattoos this past year from Elijah. My sister also got smaller pieces from another artist here and loved it. Every part of my experience with this shop was enjoyable. The front desk is friendly and helpful every time. The scheduling process is painless. The artists are affable and knowledgeable during consultations and are quick to know exactly what you want. The actual process is great and you know you are in the hands of experts. There is no loud oppressive music or bad vibes here. It is very clean calm and professional. I cant see getting tattoos anywhere else. Ill be a customer for life and Ill recommend this place to anyone who asks! Elijahs art is gorgeous and Im unbelievably happy to get to keep it forever.
Absolutely amazing. Super big shout out to Janet for my tattoo. I’ve been wanting one for a while and never wanted to actually schedule an appointment. I was finally able to get a walk in appointment after a bit of time and it was great. Janet was super sweet and guided me through everything in terms of pain tolerance and how to take care of my new tattoo. I’m looking at my tattoo right now and I love it. Not much more you can ask for… super sweet and talented tattoo artist and super great/comfortable atmosphere. If you want your first or hundredth tattoo, come here!!
Janet did an amazing job with my tattoo! She was very kind and efficient. The other staff were super friendly as well. Overall great experience and I will definitely return for another tattoo!
I have now had 2 tattoos done by the talented Frank Phoenix. I have been more than happy with both of my pieces. They both turned out better than I ever expected. Frank is very kind & the space is very clean & sanitary. The staff seem to like working with each other & to me that’s very important & a sign of a well run business. 100% worth the wait.
Great shop. Great Artists. KELLY was elite
Posting as a review of the shop, not the artists. Posting a review so that other can make sure to press a little more in order to make sure the shop upholds their due diligence prior to wasting the customers time and money. Previously, I had scheduled a consultation appointment with the shop and sent in the image of what I had designed. The shop and artist had the image for approximately 2 1/2 weeks. When I arrived at the shop and talked with the artist, he had no idea about the image I had sent. We went up to the reception desk and they pulled up the image I had sent. Within 30 seconds, I was told that the design was not feasible for the location I wanted. I had no problem with this answer, and now know I need to resign it. The artist gave me some short feedback that will help me going forward (this is the only reason I didnt give a 1 star review). My issue is with the business practice in that I made the drive out to the shop only to spend about 2 minutes inside it to receive an answer I could have gotten on the phone 2 weeks ago. It was my understanding that by sending in images prior to the consult, the artist would have taken a brief review of the mock up and we would discuss it at the appointment. What I received was an artist whom didnt even know the design existed/had been sent to the shop and told me an answer that could have been told to me in email or a quick phone call. While I do not doubt the skills of the artist, this interaction with the business practices has not provided me with the confidence to spend money and time on what I estimate to be a $800-1000 job.
Horrible service from the guy that came from New York. He said he was head hunted from this place and done special work. He did not do what I asked for, dug the needle deep and said “sorry I’m fat” made my tattoo bleed. And wanted to way more he told me for just line art.I’m finally getting this tattoo covered up
Over the years of getting tattooed at a few places, this place is hands down the best all around. From great customer service, the amazing artist and super clean shop! Everyone is very welcoming and no judgement whether your a first timer or a regular- very professional. I have had 4 tattoos done with Kiwi Matt and could not be happier!!!
I booked multiple appointments in 2020 with Aaron Bell. I waited two years for my appointment and after two sessions I have been threatened and wrongly charged. I tested positive for Covid for two weeks and had to miss some appointments. I did not confirm these appointments and informed the front desk I was testing positive. A month later I received a voicemail stating they charged me $150 for my missed appointments. They also threatened me saying that if I do not make my next appointment they’ll be cancelling all of my upcoming appointments. After waiting two years and having over 10 appointments booked, I will NEVER be returning to Slave To The Needle. Aarons time may be “valuable” but so is my business.
I was feeling really nervous about getting my septum pierced but read good reviews for this shop and am so happy I came here. Justin took the time to find the perfect placement for my septum ring and I barely felt the needle going in! Everyone was super friendly and professional, shop was really clean, definitely would recommend to a friend!
Was really looking forward to a great experience here but it turns out we are Really disappointed with this place, for his Christmas present my fiancé and I came here from out of town, we made the appointment over a month in advance with Mandy. First off she was over half n hour late to our appointment (at 11) so we had to wait for her to get there and then she wasn’t even finished with the drawing so we had to wait for her to get ready she didn’t actually start tattooing until 12:45. We were her only customers for the whole day because it was a bigger piece on his upper arm but we planned for it to take awhile it’s not like we were just walk-ins. Anyways we were there for a total of 6 hours but she didn’t actually tattoo the full 6 hours more like 3 1/2 hours. She also took multiple smoke breaks throughout so we would have been able to get it done if she hadn’t stopped so much and then decided that she didn’t feel like finishing the tattoo! It was only 5p.m when she stopped they are open till 10p.m! There were people there that had gotten there after us and were getting tattooed before she even started and they were still tattooing their clients after Mandy decided to stop. Even the tattoo artist next to us asked if she was done already and we were like No definitely not it’s suppose to have color. Yes we were there awhile but we had planned for this, she didn’t end up doing any color just the outline and some shading and was like my back hurts I’m tired. Then over charged us ($800+) for an unfinished tattoo. Definitely don’t have Mandy do your tattoo! Wish we had one of the dudes tattooing next to her! They actually seemed to get the job done never saw them take any breaks either. All in all we won’t be coming back.
My first tattoo (at 63). A colleague recommended Lance as an artist, and boy was my friend right! Lance is very, very talented, kind, witty, and made me feel very comfortable. He took very good care of me. My sister met me there and shes booking her first tattoo with Lance in September. We were both impressed with the cleanliness and atmosphere at Slave to the Needle Tattoo. Highly recommend (and you wont go wrong with Lance, I promise!).
My wife got a tattoo done here in November by Elijah and Ive worked with him to get two tattoos over the last couple months (both were custom art pieces and Elijah totally rocked them). The shop is clean and the quality of the tattoo art is incredible. I got my first tattoo at this shop about 7 years ago and I still get compliments on how great it looks.I wouldnt send friends anywhere else except here for their tattoo work.
I had a very special experience here yesterday getting my first tattoo in almost 10 years. I picked Slave to the Needle based on recommendations from friends, and I picked Tony as the artist because his portfolio online really resonated with me. He was very professional and passionate, and the tattoos are so beautiful Im at a loss for words. I highly, highly recommend him, and Slave to the Needle in general.
I went in and had them replace a small steel ball for an ear piercing I received in Idaho last week. I also wanted to get a 3rd piercing near the most recent ones, and they patiently explained that they could not do it until they healed. I appreciated their patience and knowledge. Also, Gracie did not charge me for just replacing the steel ball and took the time to answer many questions I had. I will definitely go back there when my piercing do heal for my next one!
Friend and I did a walk in for our first tattoos, the staff was super nice and did an amazing job. They eased our nerves and made us feel comfortable would recommend anyone to come here. We didnt have super detailed tattoos done but they did an amazing job with ours :)
I was scheduled to have a tattoo with Christian. I personally went in to show him some pictures of what sleeve I wanted to get on my right arm. Was quoted a price to do the work and was told it would most likely be done in 2 sessions.I arrive the day of my appointment to get the tattoo that I showed Christian. He brings out the template and it is a completely different looking design than what was discussed. Not only did I show him in person but I also emailed with him back and forth confirming he received my design. At no point did he bring up the fact that I would be receiving a tattoo that deviated from my design. Some for of communication would have been greatly appreciated.Im out $100 for the deposit and no tattoo. Id rather not get something I dont want. Looking for a new shop to go to.
I went to Slave to the Needle last week to get my third tattoo, and it was absolutely the best body art experience Ive had to date. Josh did amazing work (and put up with a LOT of swearing from me during the shading process), and everyone I interacted with was friendly and extremely professional. Im starting the second peel of silver skin today, after following the aftercare instructions to the letter, and this has been by far the smoothest healing process Ive gone through. Fingers crossed that it continues, and five stars for Slave to the Needle!
I went into the Wallingford location for my first tattoo after a recommendation from a friend and seeing good reviews. I wanted to get an abstract blue moon because of its deep significance for me. I knew that colored ink wouldn’t hold its color as long as black but I wanted to get the blue anyway, knowing I would probably have to get the color touched up more frequently. Karina was my artist and she kept telling me just to get black. I appreciated her warnings about color fade but I felt like she was pressuring me to change what I wanted. On to the tattoo... it had very simple curved and straight lines. She applied and re-did the stencil 3 times. I figured she was trying to get it perfect, which I appreciated but in the end she messed up one of the points and made some of the straight lines crooked. The tattoo took about 20-30 minutes and she charged me $160!!! All for some simple lines (no shading) about the size of a softball. All in all she seemed like she didn’t really care and was just trying to get paid. They gave me a small piece of paper with some aftercare instructions and that was it. I called to try to get in touch with the artist a couple days later to ask some questions and I have yet to be answered. I’m really sad with how my first tattoo came out, especially after having high hopes for this place. Now it’s on my body forever
Mariana is the BEST!! Her style is incredible, but her level of craftsmanship is even more so. Excellent, consistent line quality and detail. Great conversation too! (A real quality to look for if youre going for a long session!)
I got a large cover up on my forearm here about 8 years ago. The art is great and I get compliments on it all the time. There was immense scar tissue from me trying to scratch off the old tattoo underneath and the process wasnt too painful. Got a pretty large piece done in about 4 hours, took 2 smoke breaks. Healed up good and quick.5 stars because I would recommend this shop to anyone for any style of art! Thanks guys!
Ive been coming here for years now and I love it. The staff is extremely friendly and the atmosphere is great. The artists do amazing work and are always willing to discuss their art with you. These people do some of the best artwork you will see hands down.
Got tatted with Tony here! He did amazing work, and worked with me to get exactly what I wanted. The whole place is clean, friendly, and professional. My tattoo healed in less than a week! Would recommend anybody considering a tat go and check them out!
I didnt realize how great my past three experiences getting pierced (by Josh) were until I recently had a piercing done here in my Midwest home town. Josh really makes the experience comfortable and positive and his professionalism is top notch. The aseptic technique, the client education...good stuff.
Super talented artists here. Jason Metka is really skilled in Asian style tattoos, specifically large format Japanese designs. He’s incredibly detail oriented and meticulous. Starting as an apprentice and tattooing for over 13 years, he’s developed excellent talent. When I’m ready for my next tattoo, I’ll see him again. Definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a custom, Asian influenced design. Explain your concept and let his artistic talent do the rest.
Top tier artists!Ive gotten 3 large pieces done here now (3/4 sleeve, full upper back, and inside bicep) great artists, who are very professional, creative, and precise.See Linsey Lawson!Be warned there is a long queue so plan accordingly, as with many good things you have to wait.
Wonderful! I had touch up work done at Slave to the Needle yesterday and though I am still a little sore, I am really happy with the job they did. I was recommended Slave to the Needle by my friend Amanda and decided to give them a try on touching up an older tattoo that has started to fade a bit with time. The darn thing looks absolutely amazing, and I think it might look better than it did when I first got it! Slave to the Needle definitely passed my trial run, if I get a new tattoo in the future, I am for sure going there!
Eli Bischoff is an amazing artist. Hes booked for months but if you want a one of a kind piece then its worth the wait. I flew in to get mine from him after seeing several of his pieces on friends and on his Instagram page. Couldnt be happier. The rest of the crew were friendly and helpful.
I absolutely love this place. Greg, the artist that I work with, does such an amazing job. He stays in constant contact and is always quick to reply. They also have a little parking lot off to the side, which is definitely a plus in the wallingford neighborhood.
Had a full sleeve done here over several months by Lindsey Lawson. Absolutely incredible and could not be happier with the work. The other staff are serious tattoo professionals and you can tell that they take a lot of pride in their work.
Shout out to Elijah from slave to the needle for my tattoo. Very professional and experienced for sure. Great tattoo and great time here, my tattoo has gotten non stop compliments. I would definitely recommend Elijah to anyone looking for a great tattoo.
I came to Elijah for a coverup on my finger. I was told by other tattoo shops that there was no way anyone could cover up the tattoo on my finger because my fingers are thin and the tattoo was large. Elijah was able to not only cover the tattoo perfectly, but he packed so much detail into the tattoo and it’s absolutely beautiful. I would post a photo of it, but it’s still healing. I am so thankful! I cannot stop looking at it and I already am getting so many compliments on it. I cannot wait to come back again to see Elijah!
It was very clean. They took every precaution to prevent the spread of COVID. I recieved a tattoo from Matt H. I was in the chair for 9 hours. Everyone there was the absolute best! I absolutely love my tattoo.
Third tattoo is the charm at Slave to the Needle! I have gotten all my work done at their Latona location and as before could NOT be HAPPIER! The artists always blow me away with what they add to the vision I bring in. Seriously, I would not go anywhere else. If you are serious about the design, quality and artistic ability of your tattoo and tattoo artist, then Slave to the Needle is your parlor! As always, impressive guys! See you for my forth!
Aaron Bell selects incredible artists to come work at his shop, but Ive specifically followed Lance to this location. All the artists are awesome... and Im partial to Lance.
My best friend and i drove 2 hours to go here and it was so worth it! I wanted to get some scars covered up and not only did Adam do that but he went so extra and amazing on it!!! Hands down my favorite tat so far. I may not ever have my tats done by anyone else.
Dave is a great guy. Down to earth and fun to talk to. Plus he helped from a rough draft idea I made and he made it amazing! If Im rich Ill probably come again.
Very prompt with replies and will work with you to find an artist that is well fitted for the piece and with your time frame. Friendly personable staff and clean facility. Ample parking across the street in garage and next to building on gravel lot.
I had a piece done by Ed Lott at the Wallingford location about 2 years ago, based on a pinup-style photo of my wife holding my Gretsch Electromatic (which she bought me for my birthday!). Its a full forearm piece (elbow to wrist) and it is excellent! Its a photorealistc full-color tat, which took 3 sittings start to finish. It was captivating watching Ed do his work - like watching a painter working canvas. I hear Ed has moved on since then, but I would still highly recommend Slave To The Needle, as everything I have seen come out of there has a consistent level of excellence!
All I needed was a simple tattoo of my first granddaughters name and Slave to the Needle delivered it in spades. I know my tattoo wasnt exactly original and I didnt really have any exact idea of what I wanted but the nice girl who did my tattoo drew out a tattoo thats almost as beautiful as my grand kid. Now my only hope is that I dont have a ton of grandchildren because I really dont want to be covered in ink.
Got my first tattoo here. Tony is awesome. Very friendly staff and very pleasant and clean ambience. Parking is in the street but easily available.
I came to the Slave to the Needle in Wallingford to finally get cover-up work done on a regrettable tattoo I got in my younger days. I’m so, so amazed with the work done on the cover-up – there is no evidence of the original, stupid tattoo that was once there. I have nothing but praise for Slave to the Needle, they were able to transform gold out of crap!
Kiwi did an amazing job on my certain tattoo addiction. He was nice, talkative and made sure I liked it before I left. I will from now on be going to that shop only!
I had a piece done by greg kinnamon, he was quick, clean and proffesional. I’m absolutely in love with my tattoo and will definitely be coming back to Slave to the needle for my next one too!
Gabe was awesome! This was my first tattoo, he answered all my questions, helped me decide the location and was very patient! I love my tattoo !!!
Was there when aron first started out ..still have one of Arons first skull tear out on my leg Arons a great artist an has become a great artist I remember when it was a hole in the wall an now he has turned it into a awesome place rock on aron from crazy scotty
Jessie ( guest artist) was AMAZING! She did great work and was incredibly personable and kind! The shop was so clean!!!
I really enjoyed my experience here, they had great service, I am happy with the tattoo I got (my first one). Would recommend to everyone.
Stumbled in here for a quick piece last week. Staff wasnt super stoked to help me out, but they did a great job. Would recommend for the work that was done.
Amazing people! And great tattoos! If youre looking for Ginuwine and honest artist, this the place to go
The guy hurt me digging the needle. Making the ink bleed under. And hurt me, and said sorry I’m fat. At that point shouldn’t tattoo. I am finally getting the tattoo covered up
Got my septum done here. The piercer was really gentle and did a great job! The piercing healed excellently.
Great shop, very welcoming! Excellent artists! Parking on side streets was easy to find.
You gotta love STTN, best people, best reputation. Lindsey is the most wonderful artist!
Havent been here in a while but I remember this as being one of the cleanest studios Ive seen, along with a very straightforward approach to piercings.
It was great! Mandi was very nice and it was a friendly environment! Would definitely go back for future pieces!
Tony did an amazing job on my tattoo and was the fastest artists Ive had. Great work.
Absolutely fantastic tattoo studio! With friendly people and a wide range of artists to suit anyones needs ☺️
Incredible artists, quality work- cant go wrong here- would recommend Slave to the Needle to anyone looking for a tattoo- check out this shop
Jason did an amazing job! Very detailed lines. He also quickly envisioned the concept I wanted!
Had a great experience with Frank. Will definitely be back
Very professional and welcoming. I love that their jewelry is a reasonable price with many different options
They never replied to my email from 3 days ago so thats why I took a star away. They were friendly though.
The only place I trust for my work!!!!
Staff is amazing and super knowledgeable. Answered my many questions I had and the art looks awesome.
Lance is great, He is passionate and knowledgeable. He is open to collaboration and is very chill.
Over priced for piercing stuff but the staff are top notch and patient and amazing. The product is amazing as well but expensive.
The work I got done at there shop was everything and more than I could have hoped for Ill definitely be back for any future work
Went on a Saturday around 3 on and could not find anyone there to get in. Called got voicemail. Seems like bad service. Even Dmd an artist and never got an answer.
Dr. Needles (Jose) is a very creative, knowledgeable and skillful tattoo artist, with a Great personality !!!
