My daughter and I got matching tattoos. My husband did a design, we brought it in, and Seth did a perfect job!!! It was in honor of my dad who passed away last week, we are so happy with the pricing, and atmosphere, thank you Seth for an outstanding job!

Curtis is AMAZING. I showed him what I was thinking and he did exactly what I asked. He was so good I ended up getting 2 more tattoos during that visit! I will definitely be back! I showed him an inspo pic and he made something even more beautiful in the few minutes I was sitting there.

Great shop that I recommend to everyone. I personally work with Tim; his American traditional tattoo work is phenomenal. However, I think every artist here is very skilled and professional. Whoever you decide to get tattooed by, you won’t regret it.

My brother and I just visited today. Both recieved Tatoos from Ryan Hartman. Ryan did an amazing job.. Seemed like he actually cared and gave his opinion on size and location. Definitely be back for our next tattoos.

Adrian did my first tattoo on my lower back, it did hurt quite a bit but it was worth it!! he was very patient and kind to my partner and i! listened to what i wanted and made it happen! i 100% recommend this artist!! my partner and i will definitely come back for a tattoo again!!!

Emily was his tattoo-er, & this was the 1st shop who ACTUALLY took walk-ins AS ADVERTISED, unlike the 2 other shops that we went to bcuz their sites said they took walk-ins (n not on certain days either). But anyways, Lol, a very good experience even as a bystander, Lol.

Tim is the go-to guy for anything and everything American Traditional. Excellent quality of work, placement and sizing. A week and a half after my appointment and the tattoo is healing great. Nice clean shop with friendly service. Planning on getting some more pieces done next time Im in Sioux Falls.

I have been seeing Tim for over 6 years for my tattoos! He and the rest of the crew are so cool, relaxed, and kind. Whenever Im in for a session I feel comfortable and happy because of the good energy in the shop! I cant recommend them enough.

Easy to work with. Professional. Efficient Communication. Great Aseptic Techique Utilized.The guys have probably been waiting for this review to come in for a couple weeks now. My friend and I got tattoos and they turned out great - mine healed very quickly. This was not my first tattoo, but I did get woozy and literally vomited during my appointment - first time for everything I guess. Embarrassing as it was, it showed how compassionate and caring tattoo artists can be - good thing Lee has kids and was not phased by this. Lee not only had excellent care and communication skills, but he did a very good job with properly disinfecting my tattoo site. I didnt tell him at the time, but I am the Director of infection prevention and control at a hospital and I was pleased at how well every artist that I witnessed sanitized their work stations and aseptically prepped their sites. 100% would recommend Lee and his colleagues, as well as get another one (if he will have my back 😅).

I have a great forearm piece from Heath that’s a few years old now. Great work, great guy! He also makes incredible tattoo guns if you’re in the market.

Had an appointment schedule at a different shop who screwed us over .we drove an hour an a half. Called Heart Tattoo and the guys got us in that night .even stayed late so we didnt have a wasted trip. Adrian did an amazing skull with beautiful shading detail on my husband and I let Lee do artists choice on my neck. He did an amazing black and white rose. They were both amazing and we have already scheduled our next appointments. Definitely the place to go if your looking for great work and an amazing atmosphere.

I got my very first tattoo here. Adrian was AMAZING! He gave me three different size choices and helped me pick out the perfect placement. He was friendly, funny, considerate, and helped walk me through the process and “pain”. I felt so comfortable here. I don’t plan on going anywhere else. My first time in Heart. The place is bright, clean and organized. Every employee I encountered was friendly and helpful.Lee was my artist and he was excellent. He is easy to work with and clearly loves what he does. My tattoo turned out much better than I was imagining. The detail, shading, size and placement is perfection. I will definitely be going to Lee for the rest of this sleeve.... and the next one.

My sister and I want to Heart Tattoo to get sister tattoos done for my birthday. We both went it with nerves and butterflies in our bellies, but our artist (Adrian) made us feel at ease! He was incredibly professional, polite, and caring! He gave us advice on our tattoos, gave us options that fit in our budgets, and drew up the most amazing design! To say this was by far the least painful tattoo I have received is a great understatement! Both my sister and I are very touchy around needles of any kind, but we both agreed that we barely felt a thing! I would recommend Heart Tattoo time and time and again - more specifically, we would recommend Adrian to anyone! Thank you all for such an amazing experience!

Employees were very friendly! I gave my artist some ideas on what I wanted for my grandmas memorial tattoo! He turned it into something even better! He did a walk in because he knew I wasn’t from Sioux Falls. I didn’t have the time to set up an appointment for a different day due to my work schedule at the time. I plan on getting more ink from this location! Also they have tons of cool designs all over the shop! I also get anxiety with needles but my artist was very polite and kind! Too bad I can’t remember his name but he was awesome! The whole time we were just talking about what has happened in life. Felt like I had a connection with the artist. Felt more like at home. Personally would recommend this shop out of all in the area!

Tim is the absolute best. Not only does he do amazing work, but hes one of the nicest people Ive ever met. Hes done all three of the tattoos that I have and each time hes made me feel super calm, welcome, and like Im among friends. The work he does is clean and bold, the colors are amazing, and I cant recommend him enough.

Tim Jewell did a beautiful job on my Dionysian tattoo on my sternum and ribs. The entire shop was super nice to me and made me feel super comfortable the entire process. Cant wait to come back and get more tattoos here. This tattoo is everything I couldve ever wanted. Definitely my favorite shop in town.

Awesome experience! Reached out to one of the artists on Instagram and he wasnt able to work with us today but reached out and found another artist in the shop that was free and hooked us up with him. Went in for a tattoo with my sister and Seth did a great job! He was friendly and professional and we both love our new tattoos!

I’ve received two tattoos from Tim in the past and he absolutely rocked them. I’m very particular about what goes on my body and he was very patient with the changes I made on the piece before it was tattooed on. He always made me feel very comfortable in the chair and his work is outstanding. I am constantly getting compliments on the pieces, his attention to detail and pure talent is out of this world. Can’t wait to get another from him and his boys at Heart Tattoo!! Would 10/10 recommend!!

The best place to get tattoos this year. Ive had both of my tattoos done here by two different people one of them who does not work there anymore. Very very very impressed, I got my first tattoo from Tyler about a year ago and ended up loving it. Decided I wanted another one and set up the appointment the day of and had a different artist do it ( Adrian I believe), but I am super impressed. They were super kind, clean, and really wanted to make sure I had exactly what I had imagined!

After countless tattoo artists refused to do a cover-up for me, I found Heart Tattoo and Heath Rave. The superb care, imaginative and creative design choices, beautiful art and color, my cover-up was well worth my two hour drive to see him. Tyler has done the majority of the work on my leg. Always beautiful and vibrant! I can’t wait to come back in and do more. I always drool over Tim’s pieces. And now Heath is in town?? CMON. Seth took me as a walk in for my Paw Print Memorial tattoo. Lee took my husband as a walk in for his Fire Fighter flag. Both are amazing artists, have awesome customer service, pricing is great.

Booked an appt with an artist named john (@sodak_kidd on instagram) . He was very quick to just take my money but not give me any confirmation on my appt. If you didnt want to do my tattoo for whatever reason or just simply forgot, atleast reaching out wouldve helped. I tried calling to confirm my appt 2 days after booking and the receptionists tells me that there was never an appointment made for me in the first place with any of the artists there. They tried making it seem like it was my fault that THEY forgot or cant keep track of there appts.. very unprofessional.

Tim does a wonderful job creating pieces that are exactly what you came for. All 5 of the tats he’s done for me have been executed beautifully. I have yet to need a touch up as his colors stay put and have not faded. Don’t hesitate to check him out.

I confided in this tattoo artist to do a sentimental tattoo for my moms passing. He acted like he wanted to do my full sleeve and was making appointments. He then brought personal drama into his business and I would not trust him or trust his work!!!!!

Incredible artistry. Good atmosphere and an overall positive environment of people just doing what they love and doing it really well. I’ve worked with both Heath and Tim and can say they are the extremely talented and you can trust their vision on a piece. The other artists in th shop are also of this caliber. Plus it’s located next to a luthier shop that can fix your guitars/amps, a sandwich shop for some grindage, and a smoke shop for those that partake.

I have worked with a couple of the artists in the shop, and will absolutely be back for more! It is a very clean and organized shop with walls filled with flash, and/or numerous artists full of talent willing to bring your visions to life. Do yourself a favor and visit Heart for your next tattoo!

Great atmosphere,and good work tattooing but rather expensive. Id do more research around town for better prices before finally making the choice to come here. The only reason why I say that is because ive gotten bigger tattoos with same quality for less. but overall not bad.
