Ive been in to see Gabriel a couple times now and he does an awesome job! Communication on pieces was easy, and setting an appointment was easy as well! My mom, sisters, and I all love our artwork done by him! Well definitely be back 😎(Yes, my pinky and ring need touched up, no, I havent scheduled it yet but its no fault of Gabriels and all fault to the area!)

Ivan was absolutely amazing, not only as an artist but as a person in general! Ivan talked us(mainly my daughter lol her first tat) through each process of the tattoo process and the after care regimen thoroughly! Hands downs will recommend him to all my friends

Ivan and Kat are some of the best in town. Good music to listen to. They are always professional and offer me water/snacks when Im there. Their tattoos arent so bad either ❤️💯💯

Today I had Poppy as my artist for my two first ever tattoos! She was so very kind and designed what I wanted right there for me, she is easy to start conversations with and makes sure you’re comfortable during the tattoo process! I will definitely be coming back to see Poppy for more tattoos!

Ivan was incredible, His work speaks for itself! This has been a dream tattoo for me and it excelled all my expectations to say that I am happy with it is an understatement. I’ve been hesitant to get it because of the amount of detail and horror stories and just the amount of terrible tattoos similar I’ve seen. He put all those fears to rest and did outstanding work for me I highly recommend him to everyone looking for a professional and calming vibe shop with awesome Artist’s.. thanks again Ivan you’re incredible! I’ll definitely be back!! Oh yeah I forgot to mention part of the tattoo was a cover up but you can’t even tell! Just all around impressive work! I’m still in shock.

My healed tattoo from Kat is blown out. Not only that, but I was charged $80 for 1 small finger tattoo (which is light in some spots & blown out in others). I was told beforehand that I could just have it “added in” since I already was getting a bigger tattoo. I’ve gotten my fingers tattooed at others shops & they don’t charge THAT much for it to be done THAT poorly. I was planning on having Kat as the person I go to for future tattoos since I’m new here to Sioux Falls but after seeing how my tattoo healed, I’m not going to bother. You don’t pay for what you get here. Beware!Edit to response: As someone who has been tattooed (on their fingers) multiple times by multiple people, I have NEVER had one that had blown out the way this one has. There is no way in hell I would ever come back to give someone MORE money to give me another blown out tattoo. It shows a lack of respect when you don’t even acknowledge the part of my review that says “Hey, that big tattoo you’ve given me(not JUST the finger one) is BLOWN OUT.” I only hope that I can warn anybody else about coming here! The damage is done. Shame on you.

Had high hopes for this place based off work I’ve seen and reviews. Had a consultation for a full sleeve. Showed up 10 mins before the appointment, there is no receptionist and very unclear where to check in. Could hear two employees yapping away in the back. Walk back to see if I was i supposed to check in with them and the guy sees me standing there lost and ignores me. Based off the short interactions and general vibes in this place I would say avoid at all costs and they could learn some better customer service. If I could give negative stars I would

I got my first tattoo done here and had a really good experience. I had Ivan do a spine tattoo and he and his wife really made the place feel comfortable and chill. Very clean and welcoming atmosphere.

Ivan did a paw print of our late dog on my daughter’s shoulder. He did an amazing job & put great detail in. We were very impressed with his work & his professionalism. He worked late on a Saturday night just to fit my daughter in. I’m going back myself to get a tattoo from either Kat or Gabe as Ivan is pretty booked out. Their work speaks for itself but I definitely recommend them. Great professional artists that clearly care about their work! Very friendly and accommodating.

I got a compass and stars done by Ricardo. It didn’t hurt too bad and he is a quick tattooist.

Kat did a cover up tattoo for my daughter. She spent a respectful amount of time making sure she tactfully covered everything and didn’t just go big and dark. Lots of respect for the time and care she took. She clearly took to heart that this is forever for the client even if it’s just an hour of her day. Thankfully we chose this shop to help with the tattoo fix and would absolutely trust their artistic ability and tact again. Shop is also very clean and well managed; run on a professional timeline and streamlined with electronic waivers. They really stood out as a business to me.

Ivan and his crew are worth it. Theyre fast, clean, and reasonably priced. They care tremendously about the details of your tattoos. They genuinely want to make sure you love and are pleased with the outcome of your tattoo. Im from the twin cities and got all four of my tattoos done by Ivan. The 3 1/2 hour is totally worth it every time. My mom, sister, boyfriend, close and distant friends have also gone to Ivan to get their tattoos done. Not only is their art outstanding but theyre beyond friendly. I highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

My sister and I made appointments with Ivan and he made the experience very pleasant. He paid attention to detail and made sure everything was clean and safe for us! The tattoos results were beautiful! The shading was great and he worked very fast. I am in love with my tattoo! Highly recommend!

I went in today to have a commemorative pet portrait tattoo done here for my first professional tattoo. And I absolutely loved my experience here! Ivan was incredibly helpful, professional, kind and informative throughout the whole process, offering tips on the best locations and color contrasts. His workspace is very clean and comfortable, and he does an amazing job of making you feel at home as soon as you walk in! My daughter and I were walk-ins on a Sunday afternoon. We had called ahead of course to see if wed even have a chance of getting in so we arrived right around the time we were told, we did not wait long at all and got started very quickly. This was our 5th tattoo and its hands down our favorite. Ivan did a beautiful job on both of ours and we couldnt be happier. The price was right and the work was done in a very clean, safe and chill environment. Loved the music playing and how comfortable the whole experience was. Very cool vibe to this place and well definitely be back!!

Ivan is very professional and has your best interest in mind! He makes sure that you are getting what you really want. Ivan’s setup is very clean and sanitary! He definitely made my tattoo experience great and I LOVE my tattoo! I will definitely be back for another!

My daughters and I travel 3.5 hours to get our artwork done by Ivan. The studio is clean and very well run. I had my eyebrows done 2-7-2021 by his queen. I have had micro blading 2 times with 2 touch ups in the twin cities. I never got the result I was looking for. I now have the eyebrows I have always wanted. He has done 2 tattoos for me and will be doing a coverup in 6 weeks. My daughters have told several friends about Ivan and his team and everyone says hands down the drive was worth the amazing detailed work. They take each tattoo as personal body memory.

Sent Ivan a message through his website, he contacted me the next day. I gave him a general idea of what I wanted and asked him to come up with a design. The tattoo design was better than I was imagining, and he even had a great idea to incorporate an old tatto into this new one! Everything was clean and sterile, and Ivan took the time to make sure the tatto was exactly how I liked it. Ivan was very professional and friendly, and I got to meet his girlfriend who does tattoos there as well, she was also very kind and friendly. The tattoo is fantastic, great line work and the shading is awesome! The price was very reasonable, especially for the high quality work. I will be going back for my next tattoo, and I highly recommend anyone else looking to get a tattoo go here as well!

It was almost like I wasnt there getting a tattoo done. The atmosphere was so relaxed and inviting that I became instantly comfortable. The place is styled great and keeps a customers interest. On top of that music was already playing which just tied the whole experience together. My work turned out beautiful thanks to Ivan and I left a very happy camper with some beautiful new art work!

I got an amazing dragon tattoo. Love the welcoming vibes. All have amazing attitudes. Love how they play music to what you like and how you can feel relaxed and just have a good time chilling, talking, laughing. Fast at tattooing yet so detailed. Amazing detail at that. Well worth traveling 2 hours for. I will definitely keep getting more by them. One of very few places that truly are %100 awesome.

Stopped into the studio, having never heard of this shop, thinking if it’s a new shop the artist is probably new and still has the passion to do an amazing work. I was right! Went in with a bunch of different elements I wanted to incorporate into the memorial tattoo for my mom. None of which would make any sense going together, and Ivan gave me a piece that pulls at my heart strings every time I look at it. My family and I will be back for any/all future pieces..Thank you Ivan for being such a family oriented, passionate artist.

WOW. That’s all i can say about Ivan and his skill. Just to give y’all some background, i am EXTREMELY picky. Ivan was professional, clean, and very attentive to detail. I am coming back for a scar cover up once i heal. He is very experienced and accurate which is key in finding a great tattoo artist.

Ivan did a chest tattoo of my dog Baxter, first tattoo I have gotten in ten years and probably the most personal tattoo I have, portraits are very sensitive tattoos, I think Ivan done an excellent job and will be getting my female Pitbull done pretty soon.I have seen alot of Ivan’s work and several of his cover ups and he is very professional and his eye for detail is second to none.

Starry Eyed studio is absolutely wonderful! They were able to get myself and a friend in right away with no appointment. Very friendly, very prompt. They took our ideas and turned them into masterpieces. They were friendly, clean, and just an all around great atmosphere! Great pricing as well! Already have plans to come back to get another one! Very unhappy with the services at this business. Had an apprentice do mine and my friends tattoos, no one checked over his work when completed, artist was in such a hurry to get done you can see skin in several places through out the outline and it just doesnt look good. When given a bad review on their facebook site I was attacked by said artist, given lots of excuses as to why the tattoo was bad and my post was taken down. No one in management reached out, the whole experience just makes me sick. I would never recommend this business to anyone and will make sure make sure to tell as many people as I can to stir clear!!!!

I believe everyone needs time to practice. I went in wanting a cover up done,but after talking with a few of the artist we decided I should plan it out more,but I did get some writing put on I wanted. Along with their apprentice getting practise time in. 10 out of 10 recomend I will be back,an I shall finish part of my sleeve here.

Ivan is very detail oriented. He has a very inviting atmosphere. Definitely listens to your ideas, and wants to make sure you approve the details. I wanted to add some freehand, and he redid it a few times till it was what I wanted. Very patient!

He is a very friendly and passionate individual, I wanted to get my sons name tattoo on me, and he show me a few fonts, but I couldnt make up my mind and I felt bad because I felt I was being to picky, but he just kept coming up with new suggestions until I found the right one, I was very happy with the results and will definitely will be going back for more work in the near future, if you guys want great quality work at a great cost, he is the one you need.
