I knew this was a safe space where I could come in and ask questions about getting my septum pierced when I wasn’t quite decided. Staff was promptly so helpful and was very patient with me as I asked lots of questions and was very nervous. Made me feel safe and cared for And I’m so happy with my results. This is the only place I’ll come for piercings. I think they’re so trustworthy.

In the last month I’ve gotten both a tongue piercing and a conch piercing from Eddie, he’s very thorough and great at talking you through the process of what’s happening, which I love as someone with severe anxiety. He always makes me feel very comfortable, and is an easy conversationalist, which again, I love and makes me feel immensely more comfortable during the process of having a needle go through me. My tongue piercing is everything I’ve always wanted, and I love it so much, and I can’t wait for my conch to heal as well! Highly recommend this place for piercings !

They did my nose piercing two years ago, it was perfect! They are very thorough and professional. I definitely will be going back. They have a wide variety of cool knick knacks, clothes, books, incense and so on. I like checking it out every couple of months.

Eddie got me in last minute before he left for the day for a septum piercing. He made the whole experience extremely comfortable starting by recommending a 14g horseshoe instead of 16g for my body type (I’m a larger gentleman). I trusted his professional judgment and I’m glad I did. I also have a deviated septum and he took his time to make sure it was perfectly lined up. He was very quick and made great conversation. I was in and out in 15 minutes. I highly recommend them!

My girlfriend went and got her septum pierced by Shane who was both extremely professional and charismatic and once that was over we perused the rest of the very clean and organized store. 10/10 experience, super friendly staff, and reasonably priced merchandise/piercings. Love it here

I bought some synthetic urine to pass a pre employment drug screening and it failed or tested positive for benzos.. I only smoke weed and drink beer. would have been better off using my own and failing for THC lol.. wouldnt waste the money and I almost spent an extra 20 on a leg sleeve glad I didnt. If you are on any kind of probation or need to pass a drug screening mabey go online and buy something more reliable.

Ive had several piercings done here, the staff is super helpful, the gentleman working this evening helped me answer literally a TON of questions. Eddie was my piercer today (semptum ring), he did a great and thorough job, Ben has also helped me in the past,and Im once again happy with the friendly, educational and professional service here.*Update* Just want to add that this is the second time Ive had my septum piercing done, the first time something just wasnt right. I kept it in for approximately 4 months or so, but it just never stopped feeling sore, it felt like the ring was right up against my cartilage and constantly pushing on it causing it to feel sore. I thought it was maybe me, maybe I from blowing my nose a lot or just my anatomy. Finally took it out. So when getting it redone, I was a little nervous it might be a waste of money, but Eddie did a great job and from day 1 it has not felt sore besides just the skin feeling tender for a few days. I was suprised that I could actually pinch the tip of my nose (gently) and not feel the pain I felt before. I could barely touch the tip of my nose before due to pain. Eddie got it just right, the piercing feels like it was supposed to from the beginning. It looks great and its not bothering me at all (only about 2 weeks later).

Great place to get pierced! Eddie explained everything well and went over all the details perfectly! Highly recommend them!!! Especially for someone who has a LOT of piercings, this is by far one of the top places!!

The only place I would trust my 10 year old daughter to have her ears pierced. Kari is amazing and everything is extremely clean and sterile! My daughter didnt even tear up! Highly recommend for your piercing needs!

Would not recommend buying jewlery from this place! Very cheap quality and the last 3 sets of studs i have bought have not fit properly and no refunds so id go to an actually shop to get the correct size of jewlery for whatever you need💛

Amazing team they are so sweet! Got me in fast for my tattoo it was my first one and he made sure to check in on me and keep the convo going. Didn’t take long but it was amazing and amazing prices!! Even gave me a chocolate bar and sprite and water when I was feeling not anxious!

I paid $100 for what I thought was good quality titanium studs and then they tarnished and ruined my piercings not even a year later. I can’t return with the no return policy, love to see this place take advantage of college students!!

I got new septum and navel jewelry switched out by the lovely Ben Creehan. he was so wonderful and helpful in finding what would be the best fit for me. Ben created a great environment where i felt comfortable and confident in the choices i made!

I am very new and inexperienced in partaking 420, I dont remember his name but the person working upstairs in the smoke shop area on 4/20 was super friendly and answered my questions about paper, wraps, cones, and tips. I always have a great experience at kaleidoscope for my piercings and having been upstairs for the first time today, had a great experience there too! Thank you Kaleido-friends!

Good glass selection and knowledgeable glass workers with a store of interesting and cool wares down below the glass shopthat being said through my experience multiple times as a customer I am unimpressed and wont shop there anymore unless I have to. I have purchased a couple electric rigs from them and have been very unimpressed with their warranty/return policies I came in twice a couple weeks free to tell them I was having some issues and they said maybe I wasnt cleaning it right even tho I clean it every time. a little under a month after buying a over 500 dollar electric rig and they would not return it or swap a new one even though i was still within my return time and they deferred me to the warranty for the item from manufacturer. I understand as a bussness why they did it but this was a product not only recommended but extremely talked up to sale and it caught fire and almost burned my camper down. it caught our table on fire and they shouldve warrantied it and dealt with it themselves as a rep and seller of the item. they may not be a direct rep but when u talk the product up tell me why I should buy it over another item and than sell it to me you are repping and selling that item. I am also someone who enjoys ink and after speaking with tattoo management Abt getting some work done over scaring on my arms and my legs they were very unwilling to do very simple work and extremely rude About it and made me feel very bad about myself and I would not recommend them nor would I get ink here if I had problems talking to them Abt simple work I can only imagine how asking for ingredients in the ink or what kind of machines they use would be.

Had a very good experience here. I took my 16 year old daughter to get her belly button pierced, everyone was very professional and the lady that did the piercing was very nice and did an amazing job. A total recommendation.

Absolutely one of my favorite places in Springfield the employees are so friendly and helpful. The piercer are amazing and fast and very educational and the tattoo parlor upstairs. Also on point I get tattooed pierced and buy all my body jewelry there!!

Cute store. Very helpful and friendly staff. Most of the good stuff is on the top floor with no elevator, not handicap assessable. But staff brought down what I needed to the ground floor.

Kaleidoscope has been part of my life since the 90s. Its just a fun place to shop. They recently purchased some of my prints and hung it as decor. A very humbling and cyclical revolution in my life. 🙏

Took my daughter to get her nose pierced. It was a great experience, they took time to explain cleaning and the procedure to her.Appreciated the overall experience and thoroughness.

Piercing and tattoo is extremely professional. This is one of the only places I feel comfortable taking my kids for their ears. Just put blinders on the young ones. Theres an adult store connected to it. Mine have never noticed but I didnt allow them to meander.

Brought my daughter to get her nose pierced and we didnt mind the wait because there was plenty to keep us distracted. The piercer did great at making my daughter feel comfortable and confident. I was worried she would panic or get scared but the price was great for the service. Highly recommend. Only issue is there is enough cool stuff that we spent more than we initially planned... Oopsy!

I love Kaleidoscope! Theyre really awesome people with really cool stuff and a great atmosphere. The one thing I cannot get over is their website!! There are days I wish I could browse their inventory without having to go in store but alas, it seems like they just dont keep up with it. I think it would be really cool if I could make an order to pick up or something!

Great experience. Had my 2 younger daughters in to get their ears pierced. They are 9 and 6. The staff were friendly and professional. Shop is clean and they are thorough in their process from education to sterile techniques to what is happening during the piercing. No surprises or pressure. They have an extensive jewelry selection as well. Our piercer was Shane and he was fabulous! Highly recommend.

I got a tattoo there as a walk last night and they were great! The whole staff! Colton was great at making sure I had everything I needed beginning to end and informed about what I was signing. Jonny was my artist and was great! They also had TWO crazy people come in there while I was in there making a big fuss, directed at a third artist with the long beard and they all handled it professionally! I was very impressed! A++

Very fun store with interesting merchandise and great staff. Ive seen every piercer here at least once, and they are so very good at what they do. Which is why they tend to be busy, and sometimes theres a bit of a wait. But the staff is good about giving realistic expectations about that wait, and between the two levels of the store, theres plenty of cool merchandise to keep you entertained. Nothing you really need, but plenty youre going to want. Ive never had a bad experience here, and intend to continue coming back regularly.

I have gone to kaleidoscope for years. Today they saved me nearly $2000. I had a piercing where the skin grew over it and I was scheduled to have surgery tomorrow to remove it. I went to kaleidoscope to have them take out some other piercings to prep for the surgery and the most wonderful piercer (i think their name was mikayla but i can’t remember or find it) brought me back and said she could actually remove it right then and I would get to keep the piercing. She was so kind and explained everything. The process took less than 5 minutes and was almost completely painless. I spent $9 today instead of $2000. I am so so grateful for this place. Nothing but positive things to say about it.

I have wanted to get my nostril pierced for years, however, it wasnt allowed because of my job. Now that I no longer work my husband took me a couple of months ago. I did some homework on where to get it done and asked a friend and both answers came out to Kaleioscope. Shane was absolutely fabulous and it was impeccably clean and sanitary. Head shops are so over priced any more. The jewelry is overpriced, like most specialty stores. Honestly, this is why so many shop online. I ordered the same body jewelry for $33 less on Amazon. The staff was helpful and on point. In case you didnt know, they offer a rewards program for the headshop.

Truely a one stop shop! Love this place! Its a very cool store, friendly atmosphere filled with all kinds of hippie style items, smokers accessories, jewelry and so much more! Theres a piercing shop inside on the main level, go upstairs and theres a smokeshop and a tattoo shop! Plus theres an adult store in the same building next door! Who could ask for more!?!

Peircings took a little while longer to heal than usual, but are the most even and straight peircings i’ve gotten.

Daughter went to get her belly button pierced...I think they were very instructive and open to her about everything we needed to know. I love the idea that you can purchase a piece of jewelry with a free piercing or you can just buy a jewelry piece. Very clean place, employees were very friendly. I never went upstairs to the tattoo spot...but Im sure it would be and feel just the same.

Wish they would all pass on the same info…I called Friday night to ask if I needed an appointment to come in and buy a new bar for my piercing. The guy on the phone said it’s first come first serve, just call ahead to give them a heads up when I’m on my way there, and piercers normally stop taking walk ins around 7pm (so I assumed if I got there before 7, I’d be fine). So I call on Saturday at 5:40 to let them know I’m on my way and 30 minutes out. The woman on the phone asked if I was on the list and I told her I didn’t realize there was a list, the guy on the phone didn’t mention this. She said you have to be there in person to put your name on their list?! I live 35 minutes away. I don’t frequent the area because it’s so far and I don’t need to, but there’s no APP certified piercing places in the area near me (Branson). She also said they were done piercing for the day. It’d be great if there was a note about piercers not having a consistent schedule, and if all of their employees would communicate this. I was already on the road when I called because the guy said to call on the way. Very bummed.

Great customer service! I was a little nervous going in to ask questions, after all its the coolest shop in town! But they were SO knowledgeable and kind!

Went to get a piercing replaced. Asked for a titanium stud. They had to put a bigger gage in than what I had originally. The stud broke about two months after having it. Now the hole is closed up/closing up so Ill have to go somewhere and get it repierced. I wouldnt recommend this place. Just wanted to let others know about the quality of the jewelry.

Last time I went in there I went upstairs to get a glass piece. As always, five stars on the customer service. And I love my new glass piece. My wife and I have also been downstairs for the naughty bits, and she has been upstairs for a tattoo. Nothing but good experiences in this place! We love it here.

My piercings look great and healed perfectly.Og. Roo put drew up and put an awesome little piece on my forearm on my last visit. He was so fast and clean lines. They have a great deal of high quality novelty items as well. Not to mention the ultra good vibes! Highly recommend!

Always helpful. Came in to get help remove a piercing that I couldn’t remove myself. The piercer had it out super fast and gave me lots of info for when/if I ever decide to get it re-pierced. Make sure to check out all the jewelry, all the cool stuff in the shop, book a tattoo, check out the shop up stairs, and Eros if you are over 18!

Had granddaughters ears pierced here for her birthday. She had a history of issues at other places, but here at Kaleidoscope, they were very professional, listened, knowledgeable, and paid attention to her specific situation and concerns. Very happy. Recommend.

My worst fear came true today as one of piercings was nearly ripped out and impossible for me to remove the rest of the way. Luckily, within five minutes of walking in (in tears) it was removed quickly and painlessly, cleaned and they even switched some piercings around to accommodate the injury. Can not thank em enough!!

Jonny was very patient and adjust a design that worked out perfect and honored my late husband. He was gentle and looks great!

My daughter is 6 and I took her here to get her ears pierced. She had such an awesome experience. (We both did.) Ben pierced her ears and he was awesome. He was very knowledgeable and did a great job of explaining to myself and my daughter what was happening every step of the way. I was very impressed with how thorough he was when doing her piercings. He even measured the space between her ears to make sure they were placed in the same spot. We had a great rapport with him and were so glad that he is the one that did her piercing. I highly recommend Ben to anyone looking to take their daughter to get their first ear piercing.

I went to Kaleidoscope to get a septum piercing for the first time. I had no issues with my experience getting the piercing the first day. It was the experience I had the next day when I came back that was the issue. I came back to Kaleidoscope less than 24 hours later around the time that they opened the very next day; not happy with my piercing. I explained to the manager there at the time (his arm was in a sling), that I would like for the piercing to be removed due to pain and anxiety that it was causing me. I was told that I would be charged for it to be removed and I had to wait. (I understand wait times but charging me to have it removed?) I asked why I had to be charged to remove a piercing I wasn’t happy with less than 24 hours after getting it; the manager suggested I take it out myself and handed me gloves and told me I had to go outside to remove it. (There is no way I could remove this piercing without forceps) so I had to sit and wait anyway despite how much anxiety I had initially knowing I could not take it out on my own. I asked if I could have a credit to get a different piercing and I would pay for the jewelry. I was told that the “Company” would loose money if they gave me a credit for a piercing I was not happy with. I was glad to be out of there after waiting an hour just to have someone unscrew the ball on the piercing I anxiously waited so long to have out. They didn’t advice me on any after care instructions due to taking it out early either. I basically wasted $82. I wish that I was treated better while I was there. I was basically ignored and basically told I was “SOL” for being unhappy with my piercing. I think I will be going somewhere else for all other piercings in the future. Really sad that I couldn’t be accommodated in anyway by Kaleidoscope.

I always love coming here! My piercings i’ve gotten done here have healed excellently and been top tier, the smoke shop is excellent and the workers will answer all of your questions, the incense selection is great, and they always have something fun and interesting to take home!

Got my daith and helix, the staff couldnt have been more helpful. The process was very quick and easy, as well as the wait. Shane was very kind and walked me through every step, he didnt do anything without letting me know first and was very nice.

I decided I wanted snake bites. Bad idea. The first piercing came out great, loved it, but the second one came out crooked. They repierced it. Again, crooked. I called to complain and they said that they werent professionals. If youre not professionals DONT PIERCE PEOPLE. If you want any sort of piercing thats symmetrical, dont go to this store for it.

This place has always been a go-to. I bought my first pipe from here back in the early 90s when they were still in the old house. I go in there now for novelty gifts and cards. A very young crowd in there these days. Times change, but theres still some old school stuff you cant find at other places.

I have gotten all of my piercings here. And they do a fantastic job. They do such a good job my daughter wanted her first body piercing for her birthday and this is where I took her. And they did a great job with she is like mom it didnt hurt and she hates needles

Cannot recommend this place enough! The staff are all knowledgeable and friendly. The piercing specialist was excellent, had perfect bedside manner, explained each step of the process as he worked. The facility is very clean, all proper sanitary practices were performed. Overall a great experience whether youre a first-timer or seasoned.

You won’t catch me complaining on my way out. I’ve always appreciated the customer service. Most seem educated about items asked about and are willing to answer any questions when it comes to anything in the store. Frequent here often and recommend it obviously. Veteran and military discount and reward cards/punch cards for future business. Shops always clean and they are diligent in disinfecting the pieces touched.

The piercer was very kind and reassuring. He did absolutely amazing. The tattoo artist though was quite rude and explained very little to me. The guy at the front desk in the upstairs was very very rude. I highly suggest you DONT get a tattoo here. Very rude upstairs.

Took our daughter to get her tongue pierced , they were super busy but seemed to have an excellent system to get customers in and out quickly! The guy that did the piercing was great, his name is Shane and well be sure to use him for all future piercings.

Staff are always really nice. I got my snakebites pierced there during the summer and I had to wait a few hours, but everything is very sterile. They used a new needle (not a piercing gun!!!) and my piercer was very informative. They sell a sterlizing spray in their shop and give you thorough aftercare instructions to help prevent infection and take the swelling down pretty quickly.I also had a tattoo done there about a month ago. My artist walked me through the process and made sure I knew what was going on so it wasnt as frightening. Again, everything was super clean and sterile and they used all new needles. They provided a packet of ointment to help with the healing process and gave me a lot of information about it. Additionally, if it didnt heal right or was patchy, he offered me a free touch up. The first photo is when he just finished and the second photo is from a week ago. It healed up really nicely with no patches. This is my first tattoo and it was a great experience!

Always a great experience and vibe! They were so clean and professional with my ear piercing. The piercer I had reassured me (nervousness around needles) and even checked to see if my ears still had a hole in them. They did, so they got the piercing in with little to no pain, AND I got refunded part of my money back. A very ethical, friendly, and properly certified place. I LOVE my piercing and experience there!

OMG I have to be honest. Ive never had such an honest and comfortable experience getting any piercing completed. Whats really awesome, is even after it y turned out Id saved some money, I didnt want to spend it anywhere else. Lol. I cant begin with how great everyone was and I just am wanted to buy my sister something too. Im pretty sure Im gonna try them for my next tattoo..... Just cuz .... Idk they pretty much have the best of the best of many experiences with a few individuals I trust them with a tattoo just because it wouldnt surprise me that theyd be my go to for that as well

First off absolutely love the store. Go to this store for all my rings (easily 30). Had a real polarizing experience today. I usually have such a fun time talking to the people behind the counters and asking about stuff but today I got the oddest experience. I had got some paintings first and then went to look at rings, found the rings I liked and then had to wait about 10 minutes for anybody to come over so I can try them on which isnt a big deal cause they were busy. but the guy that came over just instantly took the paintings and asked us if we were ready to check out while we were looking at the rings. He was just kind of snappy the entire time . I just left in a bad mood which is really odd for whenever I go to kaleidoscope. We bought the rings and left. We got back to the car and noticed that one was missing a jewel. So we had to go back inside and we got a different guy completely changed around my attitude he was so nice and we got a replacement ring without any hassle. The second guy made sure Id be coming to the store for a long time

In and out in 30 minutes for a walk-in eyebrow piercing. Staff were very professional and I felt comfortable getting my piercing. Nice waiting area in the shop. Paid around $70 for the piercing, basic jewelry, and saline spray.

Very enjoyable experience! I took my 9 yr old daughter to get her ears pierced and the staff made her feel very safe and included. They spoke to her directly and treated her as an adult! I will definitely use them for any future piercing needs! Big shout of to Shawn for taking such good care of my princess!!

They are super nice and knowledgeable. Great place to get jewelry for piercings. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars was that they were super busy and I would have had to wait an hour for them to change out my ring!

Shane re-pierced my ears with 14 gauge hoops the other day. Nice job, very professional. Good conversation. I got right in. Today I went in to have my septum pierced. They were very busy but got my paperwork filled out quickly and gave me an estimated time. I went down the street to grab a bite and came back. Eddie did my septum and I felt absolutely no pain whatsoever. Very impressed and super nice guy. I think theyre a little high on price but whatever. Its a cool place and they are all so friendly. I moved here from Portland Oregon where often times I would walk into a place and they were so full of themselves and rude. Not this place. Im in my mid forties and probably some would say Im too old to be having body art done. Not this place. No one made me feel uncomfortable or like I was out a place. I give them five stars. Great people and super clean.

Amazing piercing experience. Loved the process, and the excitement leading up. Eddie has done all 3 of my piercings and never hesitates to answer questions, no matter how silly they may seem. Great folks, they know what theyre doing. You dont need an appointment, just make sure you have enough time to wait. I got a septum piercing, plus both my ears. Very affordable. They also didnt forget to mention saline solution which I did not know I would need.

Just stopped in to look around and the glass tender recognized us from a previous visit. They found some fritted disk water pipes after we had asked about them and ordered them just so we could buy one. So excited for the new piece and all thanks to the excellent customer service they provide. Stop in soon and you can grab the other one!

Ive been before to get my daith piercing. They were professional and clean but they managed to be super calming/friendly as well. I think that the selection of jewelry is limited but whats there is good quality. The website is minimal an could use an update to be more user friendly.

I go here for my piercings for sure because Ive never had issues with them not fitting, breaking out my face, being false, and the staff is always helpful in finding what I need.. I recommend for their pipes and bongs too!! They have a wide selection and promote local glass blowers too..

Had a a great experience here! We walked in, explained what piercings we wanted, and we were put on the schedule and given a wait time. We were told what everything would cost up front, and when it was our turn Shane was so quick and clean and professional! He answered all of our questions and was very friendly. It was quick and (mostly) painless, ha.

Never have I ever had to schedule a consultation appointment with an artist. Scheduling for the session, yes. I just wanted to show the artist the design to see if she could do it. I didnt want to drive an hour back for an appointment to see if she could. The receptionist or whatever she is was a rude, snotty lady. I will not give this place my business, mostly because of her attitude. Two seconds to show the artist the design is all I needed. Sam is the only reason I went there. Shes kind and professional and is too good for this place.

They did an amazing job. They will tell u that it doesnt hurt and its just in your head. And the staff are wonderful.

If you go for a consult with Colin and he acts arrogant and condescending and is unenthusiastic about your tattoo idea — find another artist - there are plenty. Meet any artist with all your ink covered so you can see their true colors. Colin wants 120/hr to treat you like he is doing you a favor and is an amateur at best. You should feel comfortable and excited to do the work with with your artist.

I love this place. I have bought all my Toms here (so addicting!). I went this past weekend to get my nose pierced. The girls that checked me in were so sweet and easy going. Eddie did my piercing and he was AWESOME! Super clean (changed gloves three times, once after each step). Never made me nervous, kept me well informed and made the whole thing quick and painless(seriously didnt hurt). I was a little nervous but he was so quick and relaxed I didnt even have time to react to the poke. I would recommend this place above anyone else!!!! My piercing looks great!! I would not go anywhere else. They really hold the high standards they advertise!!!

I got my daith done yesterday, and two of my other friends got piercings as well. I had never had a cartilage piercing before and I was really nervous. Eddie was our piercer and he was AWESOME. He was funny and walked us through the process and aftercare and answered all our questions. I am definitely going back for other piercings! The wait was a little long, but there was stuff to look at around the store to keep you busy. Prices were a little high but nothing terrible for how good the piercing was! So glad we decided to come here!

I really like all the different aspects of this store its one of my favorite places to visit in Springfield I particularly like the upstairs smoke shop area the pipe selection is spot on.

Went in to get some jewelry for my Medusa, he took the bar I use put it on a bag and told me which ones would work for it he told me no returns and I said well I hope they work then, he said they would I spent $34 went out tried to put it in and it wouldn’t fit. Went back in he said he told me it might not work but if that was the case why take my jewelry as an example and tell me it would work! Your job is to help people get the right stuff not make them pay for things that might not work then have to spend more money for the right thing when it was their fault and nobody else that was working tried to be helpful either. I expected better service.

Love this place! Great crew as with many cool products and piercing there is great! We had a gentleman by the name of Eddie and couldnt have ask for a better one! And the other/ others that helped us from the moment we walked in were wonderful at everything as well! Very pleased always with Kaleidoscope in all aspects! :) 5 stars for sure!

Just curious of how the store looked today compared to many years past and oh boy! So much to see. Even has an upstairs added. I spent an hour browsing and they do tattoos and body piercings also. The workers were very friendly and the products make me laugh. Im glad we stopped and will be back again for birthday cards and presents. I love this store.

Got my septum pierced. Ben did fantastic work. I was very nervous and my septum is deviated. Did a great job of making the piercing strait. Very happy with the results. Quick and very little discomfort.They also have a good selection of beautiful quality jewelry at reasonable prices. Prices for piercing are reasonable too.Highly recommended.

Had to get earrings removed for an MRI then returned here to have them reinstalled. All workers here are great folks to deal with. The piercers are exceptional people and thats why I only got my piercings done here & will do so in the future!

We came in for a simple jewelry change and told the guy that checked us in what we were there for and when we got the piercing. He was helpful and nice. We then waited 45 minutes for our turn,only for the piercer to practically degrade my daughter and I because of their strict policy of 4 months when it has only been three. Our mistake. But he was VERY RUDE about it and talked to us as if we were idiots. I will never be back and never recommend this place along as he works there.

I went here to get my nose pierced, I waited an hour and half to get it pierced when there was only one person before me and the jewelry bent a day after I got it pierced.. I also was thinking about getting some tattoos there but the receptionist there was really rude and said I couldn’t do the size of lettering I wanted because it would fade weird even though I’ve talked to many other tattoo artists and they said that’s not true and she said it’d be $175 for only or more and I talked to other places and they said it’d be $120 max for all of the ones I wanted to get. Unless you want to pay for a piercing that’ll more than likely bend and get treated poorly please don’t go there

After almost 8 years of having my ear lobes healed over from piercing, I had them repierced here. I just walked in and they saw me in no time. Shane did an awesome job, he walked me through the process and was really nice, fast and painless! So glad I went here for a quality piercing job, thanks guys!

Their jewelry is NOT cheap, and you pay for what you get. Here, this means excellent customer service, and quality. Every time I come here they help me find the correct jewelry for me and put it in for me so it stays.Downfalls can include wait times for having your jewelry put in, but thats just the nature of the best.

I give 2 stars b/c the 1st 2 people that helped be were great but ya know the saying, it only takes one bad apple to ruin the bunch.So I’m here in Springfield as a traveler at one of the local hospitals. Helping with a crisis assignment. I wanted to treat myself. I’ve been here before but I was just out and about and stumbled on this place. I needed a nose ring, I keep losing mine. SMH. But when I walked in no one greeted me but never the less they were all busy when someone did greet me it was a girl she was helpful knowledgeable and was overall pleasant. They have incense, cones, and jewelry so I was in there SHOPPING! Treating myself preBirthday style. I picked a new nose ring and the girl suggested I have them show me and place it. So I’m waiting while waiting in in the store. SHOPPING. It was supposed to be 15-20 min wait which is cool b/c I had an appointment. Well I lose track of time and no one called. So I go to ask how much longer and the guy is short and has attitude he like you were passed and I go well no one yelled my name out and I’ve been in here the whole time. (It’s not a big store). He rolls his eyes and I’m not hard to miss seeing I was the only black person in there. But he then rolls his eyes mid me trying to talk to him and starts talking to a different customer. So yes 2 girl with the wavy Bob and the guy with the glasses were great I felt good cashing out. But that interaction messed it up I’m not spend ing my money with rude people I just walked out cuz YES I REALLY WANTED MY STUFF but NO you work in a customer based profession you NEED TO HAVE AND LEARN CUSTOMER SERVICE! Idk what his problem was.. I honestly don’t care. But he had an attitude and rather than lay into him like I could have.I just left. Good customer service is the bare minimum. Won’t be back there. This little town has other shops and also I remembered Renaissance Crystal shop has the same brand incense. So I do not recommend this place.. the lack of customer service throws the vibe.

Got pierced by Shane yesterday. They made the whole process very smooth and answered all of my questions. I am so in love with my piercings and will always come to Kaleidoscope if I want a new one! I also had a piercing done by Ben back in 2014 and Ive never had any issues with it.High quality jewelry downstairs and cool smoke shop upstairs.

Literally came in for jewelry. The first guy I spoke to was cool, the second guy was a complete jerk. No reason, not professional.I will not be back. Id rather give my money to any other business. Their prices are pretty outrageous too.It is not difficult to be professional.

Kaleidoscope is a pretty classy store and they have everything from long journey to adult things and even even in good out into the heavy days and say peace signs from the seventies and find what you need if you know what I mean. My daughter has been here twice for ear piercings. They are very friendly. Weve had the same guy both times and he was great about keeping her chatting and relaxed. The piecing area is very clean, they take all safety precautions, they make sure theyre putting the earring right where you want it, theyre quick, and do a great job. The store itself is neat and well organized.

This is a very popular store folks, expect to wait an hour or more if you want to get work done, the prices are doable and the staff is kinda friendly, although the process of getting seen is in need of some type of order and maybe less confusing

I got my nose pierced and after 5 months I accidentally snagged it on something and my earring broke so I went in the next day and put a new one in for me and had to repierce it and it only cost $3.00 plus the earring I chose. So very happy and everyone there is very helpful and the wait wasnt that long either. I highly recommend to get any piercings here. Very clean!!

The guy who pierced my nose and my best friends ear was absolutely amazing. He was so calm and hilarious. He took all nerves away that we had going in to it. The place in general is very clean. Everyone was super chill and helpful.

This is a rad place! There is so much to look at. 2 floors of tchotchkes, smoking supplies,and an adult store all under one roof, I could spend hours and lots of cash looking at things. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. It was fairly busy, but social distancing was enforced. Masking was required for the unvaccinated. I cant wait to go back again!

I was soooo excited to get a new nose ring! I pick it out, walk around waiting my turn. The guy that helped me was super awesome BTW. 2 young ladies go up and pick out their stuff after me, he calls the 1st young lady, I was thinking thats weird but oh well Im next! Nope, he calls the next young lady that had walked in 3 minutes before and I had been sitting there for 15 minutes. I was very upset, so I told them I was passed up by 2 other people and I left. I live an hour away also. I was hurt and embarrassed by this. BUT the place was clean.

This place is way cool!! When you enter , there is an array of things to see downstairs. I believe jewelery and body piercings , along with other cool merchandise . Up stairs is the head shop and tattoo studios, whether your upstairs or downstairs, everyone who works there is super polite and willing to help. Theyre friendly and dont make you feel less for asking a silly question you may know nothing about. They are really knowledgeable about their products and selections and are able to help you find the perfect item to fit your need.

Ryan was able to squeeze my girlfriend and I in for an appointment last minute while we were traveling through the area. Not only did he perfectly draw up the exact styles and designs we were looking for, but he was quick, friendly, clean and professional. Next time I’m in the area I’ll absolutely be getting more work from Kaleidoscope and from Ryan. Could not be happier. Thanks again guys!

Kaleidoscope has been one of my favorite stores in Springfield for smoking supplies/clothing/jewelry/incense/decorations and much more for years. They are always patient, knowledgeable and very helpful. If they dont have something, they will round one up for you. They always make you feel welcomed, assuming you are of age (they i.d first thing every time-No Peeking youngsters!) They somehow manage to find a way to balance giving you your space and helping you find what youre looking for. Ive always been very picky about my glass so I love to spend my time browsing...never once have any of them ever made me feel rushed. They run a little but on the pricier end but sometimes you can find a great piece for a very reasonable price. They are always helpful with returns but, fair warning- be familiar with the stores policies on certain items before purchasing! Yes, folks, its a grown up store, but be mindful of certain vocabulary, as these guys play by the rules! They have a piercing studio below (certain piercings unavailable, last I knew. This is due to covid. However- this may have changed with mask policies changing) and a tattoo studio above for all you ink junkies or even those of you looking for a first tatty (again- this isnt the cheapest studio, but ive gotten several tattoos here, including my first, which is still my favorite)Its not the biggest selection ever, but one of the largest as far as local shops. They have something for just about everyone it would seem, in spite of this. Definitely worth checking out.

I absolutely love this place. I’ve been 3 times in the past month and it is by far the best piercing place I’ve been to. The staff is very nice and helpful and answers and questions or concerns you have about a piercing etc. Ben is great. And I love the different types of jewelry/variety in stones. They’re very clean and the piercers have light hands. By far the best!

I went in today to have two piercings done (navel & tongue) and I was very impressed with the customer service I received! The people at the desk were very helpful, and my piercer (Liz) was an absolute delight. She obviously has a lot of experience and really knows what shes doing, and I was incredibly impressed with how well my piercings turned out. I will definitely request her again for my next piercing! I really recommend asking for her if shes available, she obviously loves what she does and it really shows in her work.

My sister and I got tattooed by the same artist. The butterfly took 30 minutes mine took 20. Hers was $80 and he charged me $120. For a few simple lines I asked him why it was so high and he said he charges $120 per hour. Then why didn’t hers cost the same as mine?

They had several people sit and wait for tattoos for 2+ hours to be told no one could do them. Im pretty reasonable to waiting but to wait just to talk to the tattoo artist for 2 hours to be told you dont do something or cant do it is a bit crazy. The receptionist should know who can and cant do certain things vs making is wait 2 hrs to be told sorry we cant do it is a bit absurd. The peircers were amazing super friendly and helpful.

Piercers at Kaleidoscope have done all of my piercings so far. All the employees/piercers have been wonderful to me, always super helpful when I’m looking at jewelry, and always so on top of answering my questions and whatnot.And the piercers are excellent at what they do! Even with my more personal piercings, they’ve made me comfortable and ensured the environment felt nice.Will always be returning to shop, and I highly recommend them!!

Never a bad experience! I had somehow got home with someone elses stuff and was gifted the cutest lil Kaleidoscope tray and lighter for being honest...that says a lot about the management style of the business. I will always come back and spend my money here!

Collin Joiner uses condescension and arrogance to mask the limits of his abilities. He came at me immediately telling me all the reasons why my tattoo idea was bad, before he even knew what it was. He repeatedly cut me off and continued making assumptions about what I wanted and then used those assumptions to further his reasoning. Collin should take some lessons in the act of listening, find some humility amongst all his hubris, and learn to say “I’m not able to do this” instead of “your idea is a bad one”.

Ben is the man. Never had a piercing done and decided to get studs in both of my ear lobes and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. They got me in quick, the piercing was fast and he took his time sterilizing everything. You guys rock!

I stopped by here on a whim to see about getting my earlobe repierced. I ended up putting my name in the wait list and having it done that day. I believe all piercings are walk in, FYI. Remember the piercers also may have different hours than the store, so be sure to check that out before you go. The staff was very helpful, professional, and sanitary. I recommend coming here for any piercings you want. Take your kids here for ear piercings, dont be like my parents and go to cheap places like Clairs or Walmart, otherwise they might have to have thier piercings redone later on.

Clean, organized, and Im sure this is a fine place to get a tattoo. However, on the day I went in to get a consult on a cover up the artist was spoke to me like I was wasting his time. (no one was there except him and the receptionist) I didnt stick around because I didnt feel welcomed. I have an appointment at Transformation next month where I felt they hold the same qualities except that the customer service side was much better.

Not only did they sell me a lip ring that was way too big for my lip they made me buy a whole new one and wouldnt refund me my money back. Im disappointed and upset and definitely wont be coming back no more! Ill take my business elsewhere and Ill be making sure I let everyone know how you guys did me wrong. How about learning the size of what to put in a lip thats what you guys need to learn!

Love this place but was VERY disappointed in the attitudes of all the males in the store except for Eddie. I was there Sunday, and the guy named Parker watched me like a hawk even though I spent 200 bucks on jewelry and 2 piercings and a bag! He still made me empty my pockets like a common thief bc he saw me put the coupons from Eddie and the after care booklet in my coat pocket. I was very upset.

I have always liked this store, clothes, posters, jewelry, toys / knick knacks, whats not to like. Recently I bought a friend who wanted her ear cartledge pierced. The piercers name was Eddie. I was thoroughly impressed with how the whole process went down. The lady at the front desk was helpful and kind, she helped us pick out jewelry and sign paperwork. Then we waited approx 30 min. Eddie called our name and accepted our payment, then brought us to an enclosed room. The room had a nice reclining chair for the recipient, a bench for guests, and a wall sized mirror. The jewelry was sterilized while we were waiting so it was now ready. Eddie walked us through the procedure and said if we have any questions just ask. He then made friendly banter during the whole process. Before we left he went through everything a second time, gave us paperwork in case we forget anything, and then gave us his business card and told us the best way to get in contact with him.Im super happy with the store, the staff, and the piercing process.

These guys are super honest about what piercings you can/cant do and where. I felt very comfortable and it was quick and painless. It was affordable too. Granted Im from Seattle so not sure exactly how they compare to other places around Springfield. I wouldnt go anywhere else though when Im in town. I will definitely be back. My tregus piercing is healing up perfectly.

My daughter and I got our noses pierced here 3 weeks ago and it was awesome. We were walk ins and it only took about 40min. Our piercer was super awesome. Will definitely be back when I get that itch for something new. Will be looking into the tattoo parlor soon as well.

Went in about 3 weeks ago to get my nostril pierced. About 5 days later I go in and tell them something is bothering my nose. They look, tell me it’s fine and send me home. Pretty sure at that point the bar is too long. It’s pushing against my septum. Today I went in because it’s bleeding and red, swollen and sore. They tell me to even be looked at it’s an hour to an hour and a half. Normally that would be fine, except I’m standing here in a mask with blood coming out of my nose because of your piercing. The guy at the counter wasn’t helpful. Now I’m at work, with a sore, bloody piercing. Would not recommend to anyone.

Very nice place, well maintained and updated. Everything you need is in one place. Weather its a healing Crystal a band t-shirt or that really hard to find vinyl. They also have a nice selection of glass. Would highly recommend that everybody check it out.
