Kelsey is one of the most talented and incredible artists I’ve ever known. The shop has such a fun vibe and feels light and airy. I have two tattoos from Kelsey and absolutely make a trip to see her anytime I can and am near Ink Ink.

After years of searching and not commiting to an artist, I stumbled upon Kelsey at InkInk through Instagram. I have never spent time with a more talented, compassionate, and driven artist, who truly loves what they do. I requested birth flowers for my three boys. Seems simple.. Flowers sound simple, but quite frankly, many artists cannot do what Kelsey does, color realism. Before finding her work, I saw a hundred pictures of what I knew didn’t want, something that looked like a cartoon or a two dimensional flower. I felt defeated and like Noone could put my dreams into reality. So I flew to Missouri!My half sleeve is my largest piece of art work. I was incredibly nervous, Kelsey answered all my questions and reassured that she would walk me through the tattoo. Additionally, my original flight to Missouri was delayed by an entire day. Kelsey was patient and understanding. I was beside myself until I landed and met her in person. I had an immediate sense of relief that I chose her to be my tattooist. She worked with the time we had that evening, creating the design until 10pm. The next day, tattooing me the entire day the following day we took frequent breaks and the conversation just flowed about work and motherhood. (Another bonus, she’s also a fantastic mom, who also loves being a mom!!) then was able to rebook the day we missed out on, and met her in New York to finish our project. Kelsey’s work has depth, beauty and layers of color. I have MORE than a tattoo, I have a work of art that will last me a lifetime. I will definitely see her for more work in the future. I cannot say enough about what a wonderful experience I had getting a tattoo from Kelsey. This is a review I have been meaning to post for so long but because of my crazy life and circumstances I am just getting around to it now.Kelsey is so incredibly accommodating for her out of town guests and their pieces. She has multiple options for anyone lucky enough to come to Springfield for tattoos. Luckily I am a few hours away so I even drove home after my full day session. With that being said, Kelsey tattooed my recently deceased, handsome boy dexter, a cat I had in my life for almost 20. She showed immense compassion for my grief and we ended with an absolutely beautiful piece of artwork. I consistently get compliments everywhere I go. People stop me in the street to tell me theyve never seen a tattoo that beautifully done.I didnt speak much during my appointment because I was still grieving and I honestly was keeping myself from crying half of the time. Kelsey offered me multiple breaks, entertainment, she even let me use her charger from her tablet so I could be distracted with television while she was working. Her apprentice and the other tattoo artist in her shop regularly laughed and talked alongside myself and Kelsey whenever we were talking. Her shop was comfortable, immaculate, and such a treat from others Ive been to in the past. The seat I sat in was in front of a giant window with all the sunshine making it a much more positive experience for me. There is so much talent in that shop and I cannot wait to go back and finish my sleeve.

Where do I begin?? A few months ago, I went to get my first portrait tattoo by Kelsey and let me just say, this is the first time I ever cried from just a stencil… For the last 5 years I had been searching for an artist to truly capture my vision for my dog’s portrait. After reaching out to Kelsey, I instantly knew she was the one! My experience with her in her shop was one for the books! When I started talking and getting to know her, it felt like we were already friends just picking up where we left off. Not only did she slay the tattoo, she made me feel at home and welcome. It’s important for me to feel comfortable with the artist that tattoos me as I have been in very uncomfortable situations in the past with other artists. Needless to say, I am so happy to finally have a tattoo of one of my dogs. Yes, the final piece made me cry! It was done so beautifully and is truly remarkable. I even have my next appointment set up and I’m ready to book the one after that! I couldn’t be more happy to have met Kelsey. Thank you for all you do!

I’ve been going to Kelsey for years now. She is an absolutely incredible artist that pours 110% into everything she does. Her work demonstrates this. I’m proud to wear her art every day and I brag on her every chance I get.I’ve spent probably 100+ hours getting tattooed by her at this point, and everybody in the shop always goes above and beyond to make sure their clients are comfortable.

Absolutely the most phenomenal tattoo shop out there. I lucked into an appointment when Kelsey had a cancelation, and continue to fly across the country for more work. They are clean, professional, and do amazing work. Kelsey is an amazing and kind human and the absolute best!

Went to Claire based on seeing her great work. Only the second tattoo so was held high standards on what I wanted. She DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Kept looking down and was more excited with every line or shade she completed. Great tattoo, wonderful service, she will be my go to from now on! Highly recommend

Devyn was amazing! I love her love of Jesus and her patience with me while drawing up my tattoo three different times. It is perfect, and I can not wait to add more. I would recommend her to anyone. The place felt safe, clean, and comfortable.

Kelsey is one of the kindest and most professional tattoo artists Ive ever worked with. Shes warm and easy to talk to, not to mention she is insanely talented to boot. I got lucky enough to get a last minute appointment after the studio renovation. Its not finished yet, but she got a beautiful start to my sunflower to represent my sister. Its gorgeous, and I cant wait to collaborate with Kelsey on another.

Absolutely hands down the BEST tattoo experience I have ever had! I drive the 3 hours each and every time I need a tattoo or piercing. The girls in the shop have become friends, not just my tattoo artists. I am so incredibly thankful for Kelsey and her incredible talent. She was able to turn a tattoo horror into an incredible sleeve that I am beyond proud of, that gets so much attention all the time. I will never go anywhere else.

I have 3 tattoo’s from Kelsey and numerous others from Claire. Both of these ladies are beyond talented - truly. The 1/2 sleeve from Kelsey gets compliments every single time someone sees it. And it’s 8 years old… hard to believe that it’s been that long, Kelsey, it’s time for another!!They keep their store immaculate. It’s also the only place we get piercings… from ears to noses around here. LOVED THESE LADIES! I first went to Kaleidoscope and the man was incredibly rude. I was already super nervous about getting my first tattoo so I left and came to Ink Ink. I am so happy I did! They worked with me on getting the tattoo just right and exactly the way I wanted it. I have received lots of compliments on how good of a job the tattoo artist did and how good my tattoo looks. I love it! Ill be back when I decide what to get next :)

I have been getting tattooed by the owner Kelsey for many years. She gave me such a beautiful tattoo on my breast cancer damaged body. She helped me find love for my existence again. She has a huge heart and beautiful soul. We laughed and cried many times . She is the only one I will trust with my life long ink commitment. Ink Ink is the only shop I will trust with my skin. Her work and talent and commitment is exemplary. I highly recommend getting on her books! I could not be happier with all my works of art on my body from her!

I can say I am blessed to have found Kelsey and Ink Ink years back due to the spotlight given to the all female shop on TLC. What a brave vision of female perseverance. Thankful for each of the humans that let us in! I was gifted my first tattoo with Kelsey by my family because of it. Whether we are broken or healing when we need that ink boy can they bring it!! I’ve since gotten this one done and cherish every bit that she has poured into her craft and clients! I have had ink done in a number of states and by a number of artist, but NOTHING compares to my experience at Ink Ink. I was lucky enough (patient enough) to get a 3/4 sleeve by the shops owner Kelsey. Not only was her work next level, so was the entire experience. From great communication and planning to chatting and getting to know all the other staff and artist while I was there for multiple day sessions. They even helped me out with my after care when I got stranded in town for a few extra days due to some car issues.I can not say enough good things about Ink Ink, the owner, the staff and the all around amazing experience I had. Ill definitely be back again for more amazing work and I recommend you all do to.

I’ve gotten 2 tattoos here. One is beautiful (done by an artist who has since left Ink Ink) and the other is terrible. I felt pushed to do things I didn’t want to do. Claire (who is not a color or realism artist) was assigned to me the day of to do a flower piece with a small amount of font. I sent pictures to the studio ahead of time so they could see what I wanted. Instead of taking that as inspiration and making an original piece, Claire printed out the stock photos layered them on top of each other and called it a day. She also insisted It was impossible to do the font the way I asked for even though I sent pictures. The end result was a mashed up mess with one stem of four separate flowers (one of which you can barely tell is a flower). Also, she used weird neon colors that we didn’t agree to. I hated it before I even left the building. The worst part is that I finally decided to just get it removed and was told that, because of the way she mixed almost every color with white, it cannot be removed. It’s also too big to be covered up.I cannot comment on Kelsey or her work but I would never ever trust Claire to do another tattoo ever again.TLDR: I got a lazy, ugly tattoo that wasn’t what I asked for and it’s stuck on my forearm for the rest of my life because it can’t be covered or removed.

Kelsey and her team are phenomenal! I have spent multiple days there getting tattooed and even came in for a spur-of-the-moment belly button piercing. Both healed and looked great. I wouldnt go anywhere else in Springfield. Amazing team!!!!!

Tattoos should be a work of art. If you are wanting something quick and simple move on if you desire a peace of art with heart this is the place.Kelsey is so incredibly talented!!! Kelsey is a skilled tattoo artist and working with her was wonderful! She took her time with me through the design process and explained what would and wouldn’t work. Ciera was amazing! She explained every step of my piercings and made sure I was good from start to finish!!! And the lady working the phone was very cool. She didn’t get irritated by my calling repeatedly lol

My son and I got matching tattoos here from Claire. It was a very pleasant experience, with tattoos we both love. And we had a couple good laughs. It was my sons first tattoo and Claire did a great job making him as comfortable as possible. Great job!

With having 10 tattoos already, I was very timid on going to a new artist… Glad I went with my gut instinct. Claire absolutely killed it. Sent her a few pictures and asked her to put them all together in one tattoo… Needless to say, with her great service and attention to detail on the tattoo, she has earned my trust and business! Highly recommend!

Got tattooed at the branson location 4 separate times a couple years back and it was such an awesome experience. From artists to the receptionist everyone was kind, professional, and helpful. Fantastic art, never second best.

The people here are absolute professionals. They are fantastic artists, and good at what they do. I was here with my niece while she got her first tattoo and the artist was excellent. She gave good instructions for after care, and the tattoo looks amazing. I brought my daughter in for her second set of eat piercings. The perfect was awesome and the pricing studio was spotless and well sanitized. Again the order was professional and awesome. Thanks for two awesome experiences.

Please, PLEASE dont let the negative reviews color your decision to visit these ladies! Having been to them twice myself, it seems many of these reviews are passing judgment without personal experience. Im quite picky, and researched artists and shops in the area extensively before finally settling here. Their artwork quality is just second to none. Both the Springfield and Branson shops are pristine and welcoming, and everyone is so skilled at what they do. Claire is amazing- she did my second tattoo today, and its just beyond perfect!! They make sure youre educated in tattoo aftercare and have everything you need for that, as well. I honestly wouldnt go anywhere else!! If youre considering visiting them but are concerned about some reviews, take it from a repeat customer- do yourself a favor and GO see for yourself! I havent regretted it and you wont, either!

From scheduling to completed tattoo it was a great experience. I found their Facebook page and viewed all the photos to see their work before scheduling online. They were very prompt in reaching out to me, and I sent in a few pics of what I liked. They paired me with the perfect artist for the style I wanted and got me in that same evening. Claire did an amazing job at giving me exactly what I wanted. Everyone was very friendly and the price was on point. Can’t wait to go back for my next piece.

Just got a tattoo here done by Nikki! I drove 9 hours to come get this tattoo specifically done by her and it was the best experience ever! The other staff and Nikki were super fun and personable! My tattoo looked amazing and is everything I wanted!! The shop is super nice and is such an awesome environment! I would recommend anyone who wants a tattoo while in Springfield to come here and get one done! I will definitely be back when I come through Springfield again!

I havent gotten my work done yet, but the design is in process. Kelsey is my artist and shes been great. She contacts me regularly to update me on the progress. Very attentive. I will leave a review on the actual work once it is complete; along with a photo.Most of these reviews are completely unhelpful, as they dont reflect the work, but instead, are complaints by locals regarding apparent statements made about the town during the premier of Tattoo Girls. If the reviews ARE regarding the work, there are no photos to back up the statements (negative or positive). When reviewing a service, generally you review the service, not the content of a TV show. How is anyone supposed to know how to choose a place to get permanent body art based on butt hurt reviews about how a person may feel about the area in which she grew up. That has NOTHING to do with the quality of work.I gave 5 stars because, as I stated above, my artist has been very attentive during the design process; more so than artists Ive worked with in the past - leaving you hanging for months, with your money in hand, despite attempts to make contact to check on progress. So far so good.

Devyn did an amazing job today doing a Hamlet themed shoulder tattoo of a cat with a skull. Great detail with excellent shadowing and just the right splash of color. She was friendly and easy to work with. Absolutely awesome! I don’t understand all the negative reviews as my experience was nothing short of wonderful. Perhaps many of the negative reviews were from those who were upset about losing their deposits after canceling right before their appointment. These are lovey, very talented artists. If you’re in the market for a tattoo, please give this business your consideration.

Literally love the ink ink girls and the show! Wish they had another season cause I loved it! Also right after I watched the show I drove to Springfield and got one done by Nikki. Thought it would be cool since we had the same name. I love my tattoo and everything about it. She was truly amazing and all the girls were super sweet! My lion head tattoo she did is so bad ass and everything I wanted! This is the only tattoo place I will be going to from now on! The 3 hour drive is worth it! It also pisses me off that people have such rude things to say about these girls.They rock! Highly recommend to everyone!

These girls in this shop are all amazing. Kelcey did my tattoo a few years ago, and it is still holding up well. So I revisted today for some piercing because thats the perfect thing to do for a girls day right? My sis in law was with me, we were in and out in a jiffie. And it didnt really hurt. my piercings are beautiful! Thanks loves!!

My sister and I saw Maddie to have a touch up done on the heart on the left and to get a replica of the tattoo my Mom had (right side). I went all in and also got and arm band tat that day as well. Maddie was very professional, welcoming, and personable. Most of all, all three of my pieces look amazing! My only complaint was that scheduling was a bit challenging due to having to schedule only through email. Other than that the parlor is incredible and I loved supporting an all female staff/business.

Most definitely do not recommend Kristen. Scheduled an appointment over a month in advance and multiple emails back & forth regarding a tattoo. The day arrives for appointment and she takes the day off. She transferred our appointment to another artist and did not provide details. The artist she transferred appointment to was awesome and honest that she did not feel comfortable in completing this type of work with the time allotted.Kristens next available appointment if we wanted to reschedule is not until September. We did not reschedule with her due to same situation may occur, she is unprofessional, unreliable, and showed no respect to us as clients.So, long story short, we waited over a month to be refunded our deposit and sent home without any work done. No one at the shop bothered to call us to let us know that our appointment had been transferred and if we were comfortable with another artist doing the work.I just moved to Springfield and this experience was just awful and I hope is not what is typical of local businesses here.

Nikki did my sons first tat this afternoon. It looks awesome. She did a great job!! He is so happy. Hell I left there grinning from ear to ear like I just got a new one, just might have too now, will definitely be here. Great atmosphere and very friendly and talented ladies. Would recommend to anyone wanting a tattoo.

The place was in like a sketchy looking part of town but inside it was incredibly clean. they were the only place who could do walk-ins for piercings. we got checked in and pierced in no time. The price was great for the value, and the piercer we had was really professional. It was my first piercing but my friends say she was so much better than other piercers they had gone to. will 1000% go back again when i’m ready for another piercing or another tattoo

Ive went here with my daughters for their nipple piercings n it all went great. My son went for a tattoo also as I waited n it went good n the women were great n treated him💯. I also recently went for personal piercings 3 days ago n everything is healing perfectly n Im returning for another more personal piercing this weekend. I love theyre atmosphere n conversation lol. I think theyre the best so far.

Kelsey does amazing work. Got my very 1st tattoo and love it so much. Kelsey was fanatics to pull together what I wanted and made me feel at ease the whole time. My friend and I went in and got tattoos today done by Kristen. She was absolutely amazing! She was so helpful, gave wonderful suggestions and was so nice. The shop was clean and I really loved the open atmosphere. Everyone was so kind and helped us fall even more in love with our new tattoos. I will definitely be returning and recommending Ink Ink to others!

Kelsey was absolutely phenomenal! I went in for a cover up with an idea and because of her knowledge and outstanding experience as an artist she created amazingly beautiful design. I could not be more happier that I did my research and found the best tattoo artist. I would definitely recommend Kelsey and the entire Ink Ink staff. They are all so friendly and great!

Ive gotten all 12 of my tattoos here. The girls are delightful and incredibly skilled. The shop has a unique and friendly atmosphere. The artists are very friendly and more than willing to help you flesh out your design. Their work is beautiful and I cant recommend them enough.

Went there a few days ago to get my second tattoo done by Claire. I absolutely LOVE it, she did wonderful and everyone there is friendly and they’re clean! Don’t know why there are some negative reviews online but you just have to see for yourself that they do great work! Will be going back for sure!

My wife and I have both gotten ink from INk INk and we are VERY pleased with our experience we have had. I am currently working on a sleeve and Kelsey, who is doing my tattoo, is a wonderful person to have doing a sleeve. All the girls have made me feel at home when i have walked in until the time i have walked out. I still have a couple more sessions to have done at this time but i do look forward the the sessions and can not wait to have this amazing piece finished that Kelsey has started.The store has been clean, along with the bathroom and very presentable every time i have walked in. The shop does not give off the intimidating tattoo shop feel. Its very open, and welcoming.

Had an amazing experience with Chrissy! Went in for my first tattoo and the staff all together was super friendly and inviting. Chrissy talked to me throughout my entire experience and made me feel very comfortable. Price was very fair for what I got. Definitely will return for future tattoos!

Contacted this business trying to find a new tattoo artist after moving to the area. After giving someone on the other end of their email a very basic tattoo design and being told well she cant do that and she doesnt specialize in that we were told to go somewhere elseNever in my life have I been to a tattoo shop that run their clients away and show absolutely zero interest in working with people.I guess the rating of 2 properly reflects this shop. I would not waste my time here.

Booked a family ink session last minute for 6 of us. Worked directly with Devyn who was very professional and really took the time to make sure all of us got exactly what we wanted. She was very personable, professional, and did great work, even staying late to get us all done. Very impressed all the way around! Would highly recommend!

I got a tattoo from Mariah today and I am blown away by how it turned out! She seriously exceeded my expectations and gave me a tattoo that Im really proud to have. Not only is she a great artist but she was so gentle and light handed, the whole process was oddly relaxing and I actually was in and out of sleep throughout the whole tattoo. I feel like she would be great for someone getting their first tattoo. I have two additional appointments with her to finish up my arm and I dont think Ill ever go to anyone else. Every artist at Ink Ink is phenomenal, you cant go wrong with any of them. They all have seriously impressive portfolios. But if youre looking for something bold, bright and colorful definitely check out Mariah! 😁

Im ecstatic about my tattoo I received from Claire. She was SUPER sweet and very easy to talk to. She took my design and my requests/edits and made it into something that I wanted to a T. Its dainty and her line work is out of this world! SUPER clean and welcoming environment. Love that their aftercare products are all natural, locally sourced. They made sure you were comfortable and no pressure. Highly HIGHLY recommend. I cant brag enough on this place. Due to this experience, it would make getting tats super addictive LOL! xoxo!

I just got my cartilage pierced there and the service was amazing. although i didnt know i needed a way to identify myself to them( birth certificate, student ID etc.) i got it figured out. Kristen did a great job of making my experience the best it could be by explaining what she was about to do and what was going on, that i couldnt see. the piercing itself is great and they made sure to explain exactly how to take care of it. i love this shop and will come back for any other piercing or tattoos i decide to get!

Alright I’m just here with respect since I’m deaf and my wife is deaf too. If I were u I will not judge my cover because we has full time job and we has 3 child. I love going different tattoo shop to get tattoo so I decided try this place since u make me feel disrespected by hang out twice for no reason I’m not sure why. See like whoever that person have hard time I do understand trust me because my job make me frustrated and I has to deal with it so if u want get money to make sure your child have food on table get it instead been rude. I’m give you another chance to fix the attitude if not then forget it. Because that not how business go up with that attitude. Hope you all get better from whatever problems you have. I got a lady bug tattoo from here, the shop in Springfield the girl who was suppose to do mine ran out of time because she had a piercing to do luckily Kelsey did mine. My other 2 friends who got tattoos here from a different artist the one who did the piercing ( I’m gonna assume an apprentice) they turned out horrible. One friend got a yin yang sign the lines were shaking and uneven and she forgot to fill in one of the circles on the white half of it. My other friend got a zodiac constellation which is just lines but they were also very shaking and out of place like not straight in the slightest. you could tell she just didn’t take her time. My tattoo was more interact then both of there’s so I’m very thankful she didn’t do it because I can only imagine what that would’ve turned out like. The shop atmosphere is nice tho and very welcoming. They just should’ve informed my friends that an apprentice or someone who wasn’t good with line work was going to be doing there tattoos that literally only involved line work. I feel bad for them. Not to mention we live 5 hours away and we’re here on vacation so going back would’ve costed more than having someone who couldn’t do it in the first place try to fix it, it wouldn’t be worth it.

I had a tattoo touched up here and it was phenomenal!!! Nikki was my artist, but I chatted with Kelsi, the owner, while she worked and overall I felt so welcome. The price was excellent, too. Overall I have never been so satisfied with a tattoo artist or studio.

I was so excited to get a booking with Maddie. Then all of a sudden have someone else e-mailing me about cost, it couldn’t be done in Springfield it would have to be in Branson and month would have to change. It was like I was having two conversations with different people. Then she said I had to pay my deposit right then or they would give my day away. Which I would have done. But NOW you acknowledge I had my 8 hour appointment already scheduled in October??? Tonight I feel like a kid on Christmas Day and Santa didn’t fill my stocking.

These ladies are absolutely amazing. A very welcoming environment. The tattoo is stunning Kristen put her heart into it. Im glad that this was the first experience for my 16 year old. She now knows what a great place is supposed to be. Keep it up we will be seeing you soon for more.

Got my sons ears pierced, they were super friendly, they took care of us quickly, she was really sweet with my son, the only thing I didnt like was that they dont use the needle on kids under 12, they use a piercing gun which we had been hoping to avoid. All in all it was great, she took her time making sure they were straight, she got both done in less then a minute, she explained after care well, his ears have healed perfectly, not even any redness or sensitivity

My wife and I came in and got “separate but matching” tattoos. The service was amazing and all of the girls were engaging and friendly. The experience was extremely good, especially since it was my first tattoo and I didn’t do so well. Thanks Sam for being an amazing and professional artist

This staff is amazing. Kristen tattooed a butterfly on my thigh and it’s absolutely stunning. I really enjoyed talking to her - she was hilarious and a breath of fresh air! Such a clean shop and a great atmosphere. 10/10 recommend!

Went and got a piercing yesterday and it was so crooked that I was in excruciating pain. I took it out last night and half of my tongue is still numb and has no feeling . I do not recommend going to this shop for your body modifications. When I called the next day to get a refund the lady on the phone was extremely rude and said I should of called yesterday (after they closed because I was one of the last people in there). The woman who did my piercing is not good at her job. After looking at some of her other work after the fact I realized that her other piercings are very crooked and her tattoo work is very sloppy. Please be careful of who you let help you there.

I had an amazing experience! The studio is very open and relaxing. Wonderful artists and incredible designs. Ephanie (my artist) even captured my vision perfectly first time! This was my first tattoo and I’m so pleased with how it came out. I can definitely say I recommend Ink Ink studio to everyone

Got a rook piercing done today. The shop was pretty friendly, with great music playing. I felt super comfortable, they explained what was going to happen, and then I walked out with a cool new piercing. I want a few more already to go with it. Im also getting pretty tempted by a first tattoo. Ink Ink is where I will go.A couple days later, I emailed with questions, and received an almost immediate response.

AMAZING SHOP! I love the whole vibe of Ink Ink. They not only make you feel welcome but treat you like a friend. They chat and joke around with everyone and makes sure we had the full experience at the shop. Not to mention the shop itself is great. Its sterile and very professional looking. Nothing looked out of place and was very welcoming. Never have I seen a shop work like a team. Not one person isnt working and they all work together with each customer to give them the best possible outcome of what they want. I recommend this shop to anyone I see. I get several compliments on my Ink Ink tattoos and Im proud to say where they came from.

Before you decide against this place just because of its low rating on google, please read this!!! Everyone who has posted a one-star review is just bitter because of something said that was strategically edited ON A TV SHOW. If you dont care about that and are genuinely looking for a good place to go for a quality tattoo, I would highly recommend ink ink.I got tattooed yesterday by Claire. She and the rest of the staff were all so nice! I came in without an appointment and they still went out of their way to make sure I got in their schedule which was great! I wanted a tattoo covered up so I showed Claire the tattoo I have and what I want over it and she took the time to personally sketch a drawing that fit what I wanted and completely covered the tattoo I already have.In the middle of my appt I started to feel light headed and Claire & other staff immediately started bringing me water, juice, a fan, and food to make sure I was okay. I am 100% satisfied with not only my experience but the tattoo itself. Very high quality work done! My sister has an appointment in the Branson location next week and Im hoping her experience is just as great! I will be back to ink ink!

Brittany, the piercer, is amazing. I didnt even feel my piercing and she had to tell me that she was finished. Shes super gentle and great.Most of the negative comments in the reviews are from other artists in Springfield who are just jealous because Ink Ink will have a show on TV. Ive always been treated with respect and love the environment of the shop. Its clean and comfortable with very talented ladies. Dont believe everything you read on the internet. Go see for yourself.

I got my nipples pierced here this afternoon. And I will definitely return in the future for more piercings. It was a wonderful atmosphere that helped me relax a little. And the piercings look wonderful. If you’re considering please go here, you won’t regret

I got my first tattoo here last weekend and I loved the experience! I love my tattoo, and Nikki did a great job of making me feel comfortable and ease my nerves about getting inked. The atmosphere is wonderful and I will go there for all my future tattoos and piercings!

Ive gotten 2 tattoos from Ink Ink so far and I am in love with them both. My artist was Sam both times. The atmosphere was very friendly and upbeat. My memorial tattoo is beautiful and I couldnt be happier with it.A lot of people are bashing these talented ladies over a TV show and not their actual work. Let their work speak for them.

Ink Ink is by far my favorite tattoo and piercing studio Ive ever been to. The girls are easy-going and fun, while still taking their jobs seriously. Its a great atmosphere to be in! The artists have done fantastic pieces of work and make sure that everyone who comes through feels comfortable. I wouldnt trust anyone else to pierce or tattoo my body. Definitely the best studio in Springfield!

Horrible horrible horrible. I got my tattoo here two years ago and I refuse to show people it, it’s so bad. The lines are uneven and crooked, rounded corners are squared out for whatever reason, the script is crooked and not where it’s supposed to be at all. Two different people (including the owner I’m pretty sure) had to do it because apparently I was uncooperative or they just wanted me out of the store??The first one who worked on it moved excruciatingly slow, and due to my super low pain tolerance (which I mentioned) I may have yelled the f word a few times, but I didn’t think that would be such a horrible word to say in a tattoo parlor. I was constantly told (not asked) to stop being so loud, which is pretty rude honestly considering how painful it was.Due to this, the second person came by to do it quick, and she moved the way my arm was being held which MORPHED MY SKIN AND THE TATTOO! If my memory is correct, it’s was the OWNER who made the genius decision to change the position i was in, you’d think she’d know better? She also ripped through the tattoo, saying it would hurt less to do it that way. That I understand, but also that means less attention was paid than should have been.The shading is horrible and patchy.The tattoo cost me $145, and after going to multiple artists after the fact, they said the work should’ve only cost me about $70, so I paid twice the amount for not even half the effort. I 100% felt like their only intent was to take my money and get me out of the store ASAP.It’ll cost me about $70 to get it touched up, and a bunch of pain because as I mentioned — super low pain tolerance (and it’s in my rib cage). Skip this place, go somewhere that’ll do GOOD work and charge a fair price for it.

My mother and I went into the shop to be able to get a tattoo. We knew we wanted a butterfly and have it colored orange for special reasons. Mariah was our artist and she was by far the best artist I have ever dealt with. I love the atmosphere in the shop. Keep up the great work. I will be back for another tat! Found a new shop for life!❤️🤗

Nikki did my tats today (07/14/16). Very very pleased with her ability. I noticed a lot of rates for 1s. After reading them, I found they were not from customers but a campaign to smear one of the artist. Anyway they were all very friendly. I brought Nikki my design and she tweaked it. It took about 2.5 hours for the entire work, drawing and then doing the tat...I will go back. My wife has had two tats done there and she loves their work.

My sisters and I got matching tattoos at Ink Ink. Great experience! The shop is super clean, staff is very friendly, and Sam not only did amazing tattoos for us but she was patient, explained everything, and made sure we were comfortable every step of the way. She very obviously takes pride in her work. I will definitely go back to Ink Ink!

Ink ink is a clean, friendly shop. I have several tattoos from here and love them all. I have gone back time and again. I am already planning my next one from them. Please take the time to look at the photos of each artist, stop by, talk to them, and even to the customers, everybody there is friendly. If you dont like what you see or hear, go elsewhere, but i think you will be very pleased if you get a tattoo from them. I personally have been inked by Kelsey, the owner, but I would trust any and all of the artists to give me a tattoo or a piercing. Love this place!

These ladies are the best! Their work is flawless, imaginative, unique, and they are always able to give you what you are looking for and more! I would never get a tattoo anywhere else...The studios are clean, well equipped, and sanitary. The people are fun, knowledgeable, and talented. Dont risk going anywhere else for your tattoo!

I was in the area visiting family over the holiday and some of us ladies thought it would be fun to get matching tattoos. I suggested Ink Ink because the concept of an all female tattoo shop sounded cool (more so since this was a girls thing). We looked up reviews and were shocked to see such a low score. After a little word of mouth we found out why. Not only are they terrible as a shop but the staff likes to bash on the town and the residents. Great way to build your clientele. We were disgusted and found a much better shop with amazing staff to get them done. We will NEVER bring our business here. If I could give negative stars, I would.

100% would recommend Ink Ink to anyone looking to get a tattoo or piercing. Mariah did my tattoo and she was so sweet and my tattoo looks incredible. All the women in the shop were very kind and personable. I love the fact that the shop is woman owned and operated. I will be back for my future tattoos. Thank you ladies!! 5 stars all around!!

Went in to get a lobe piercing because one of mine had closed up. I didnt have any wait time even though it was a Saturday! My piercer was really cool and inspired a lot of confidence even though I was nervous. One of my studs ended up falling out that evening, so I went back in and she re-did it for free. I tipped her again because she was so great, even though I m an in-debt college student. 10/10 would recommend!

Got a tattoo here almost two years ago when they were doing the $15 a word deal. The experience was decent. I recently noticed that one of the letters is fading on my back. I understand that I came during a busy event but it is extremely frustrating that I already have to get the tattoo redone after such a short amount of time. I will not be back.**Update: I have other tattoos that I got before this one that aren’t faded so the response from management is b.s.

I had an amazing experience. This is my fourth tattooo and definitely my best experience so far. Everyone in the shop were extremely friendly and ready to help you. Kristen did my tattoo and it is exactly what I was looking for. I definitely recommend, especially for first timers.

We went on my birthday this past Monday and have no complaints at all and will be going back. Regardless of what transpired, the artists are still humans. Maybe it should have been worded differently, handled differently, and referred elsewhere, but the people writing the reviews based on this one incident is not fair to a business especially when it did not include the business as a whole or the other artists but one artist and her response. They say it has been handled, artist reprimanded and person apologized to and offered help in any other way. I am a mother of an angel baby, as well, and although my feelings would have been highly sensitive, I probably would have understood but then again I have thicker skin than most.

I love these ladies! My husband and I brought our daughter in for her first ear piercing and they were more than awesome. They made the experience a smooth and (good) memorable one. I know well definitely be repeat customers!

Didn’t even have an issue. my mom and step dad got covid so they couldn’t come with me to get my tattoo since i’m a couple months shy of 18 so i need a legal guardian there. i was asking some questions about my deposit and i don’t know who i’ve been emailing but i asked if i rescheduled if i would have to pay another deposit and all i was responded with was “yep” just seemed a little unprofessional. they were nice the rest of the time though

My friend and I went in to get piercings. They did great for both of our belly buttons but the eyebrow ring is not so great. They pierced it straight up and down instead of to the side, which I thought was a little strange. Now its VERY infected and has been for about 2 months but they screwed on the ball so tight that I, nor anyone else, can get it off. When I messaged them and asked about it they said it looked fine and to keep cleaning it. It just keeps getting worse. Im not sure if its because of placement, lack of hygiene or an allergic reaction. No matter the case. I still cannot get it out of my face.

I have one tattoo from ink ink that I received awhile back. They had really good reviews online at the time and it was just a small traditional tattoo on the back of my arm. I thought when I first got it that it looked OKAY but over time I started to notice how patchy the color was in it and how the lines werent all even. There are so many amazing artists in Springfield; both female and male. Do not go to this shop.

My wife came to touch up and add onto an existing tattoo. We were aware of the bad local press from the television show, but their gallery on Instagram displayed some very talented artists.First things first, the atmosphere and ambiance was much more inviting than the other tattoo shops in town. It was clean, the music was at a normal level, and it was bright instead of dark and brooding. They even accounted for seating for me to watch my wife get her tattoo. Normally a seat is shoe horned in, but there were comfortable spots nearby already in place.Secondly, the staff were super kind, positive, and well mannered. The shop was busy but the ladies working here were very kind to everyone.Third, the artist that took care of my wife was very talented and knowledgeable. She listened to my wifes desires and made them come to life.In short, beware of the endless false reviews for InkInk. When you read through them it becomes clear that most of those folks likely have never been in the shop. Its unfortunate that is the case. Though I was skeptical at first, a bit of research made it clear that InkInk is an excellent choice if you want a tattoo in Springfield.I absolutely support this all female led and run business and hope that when you read this and the other reviews that youll find the truth is that the bad press was unfortunate, but has nothing to do with the quality of work and the service we experienced at InkInk.

Save your money! I got a tattoo there that I kind of liked, and really tried to love, but as time went on it faded and looked really bad. I could see all her mistakes once it faded. That was about 6 months ago. I finally got it covered up. My skin, however, is very scarred from the ink ink tattoo, so my cover was no easy task at all. And hurt way more than it should have due to the scarring. Thank god I found a great tattoo artist to cover it up though.And honestly, I feel that a lot of the positive reviews on here are scripted. They sound really fake.

I have never seen such horrible tattoos in my life. Bad technique, horrible line work, and just plain bad shading. The tattoos that come out of this shop are just pitiful. These are not professionals whatsoever. These are girls who use a gimmick (all girl shop) to get clients in the door. I have heard countless horror stories from people I know who had had tattoos done by them. For the love of god please look into other options in Springfield. You dont want to have to spend more money to have your tattoos fixed and/or covered up.And on top of alllll that. This shop has a Reality TV series on TLC that downright HUMILIATES the citizens of Springfield.Please be educated on better and more professional options when getting tattoos.

I love Ink Ink! Kelsey is the owner and all the ladies have apprenticed under her. Kelsey knew there was a need/desire for a modern & fun tattoo/ piercing studio. It has proven to be incredibly successful! My husband and I have had work done there and I have friends who travel from out of state for tattoos there. So its not just fun...the quality is amazing! The piercers are also Rock Stars!

I went to Ink Ink to get a tattoo for my birthday in December. I emailed them from the contact page on their website and got a response within thirty minutes. When I got to the appointment, the staff was very welcoming and Ephanie, the artist for my tattoo, got right to sketching the stencil. The tattoo came out perfect. This was a great first tattoo experience.

Ive received 6 tattoos over the last 2.5 years from this awesome establishment. I wont go anywhere else because I would feel like I was cheating on them! There are some serious good vibes in the place and I dont normally use that term. Ive been inked by 5 of their artists and all of them did a fantastic job.

This was my first visit to Ink Ink. One of my girlfriends recommend them. The environment was great, very relaxed and fun. Instead if being in separate rooms, likeep shops Ive been to, everyone was out and could talk to each other. Kristen did my tattoo, a watercolor compass and I am very pleased with it! Kristen you are a watercolor queen!! I have been to a lot of different tattoo shops and this one is so far my favorite l. I am definitely going back for more!!!!!

Ink ink had a promotion for a $40 business card sized tattoo. Im not one to pass up a deal so I went in. The staff was friendly, I will give them that. However, the artwork was terrible! You could tell that they wanted quanity not quality. Lines that are suppose to be straight a curvy. There was no detail or uniqueness. It looked just like some clip art. To top it off, mine was about a quater inch longer than a business card and they charged $80. Not worth the time or the money. Luckily, I can go to Scott at Body Creations Ink to fix this poor tattoo.

I walked into this shop when it was a few years younger wanting some kind of input from a creative. Shop looked extremely unclean and unprofessional. The two artist there ignored that I had even walked in and were not even working on anyone. Really glad they didnt engage with me that day because Ive only ever heard bad things and horror stories about this place. The work Ive seen personally is horrifying. There are much, much better places to get some ink or a new piercing guys. Please dont go to this shop.

Yall are complaining about price and quality of work. Then on the other hand yall are saying I was there for 3 hours and paid 150 dollar and other places would of charged me 75 bucks for the same tattoo. I would love to see what a 3 hour 75 dollar tattoo would look like. I dont touch anyone for no less then 150 to 200 an hour. So if you was in my chair I would of charged you 600 for 3 hours. Good tattoos cost money poor quality tattoos is cheap. Ive personally havent gotten a tattoo here yet but now after reading these comments I may have to go visit Springfield to get a tattoo.

I had a great experience at ink ink . I went in with a general idea kindl of last minute, later at night and I was welcomed by Kristen she helped me come up with a great water color design that I love! She did great work and was good company while getting the tattoo! She also but on a medical type sticker over my tattoo to help it heal well, id never seen this before but its amazing! Only 5 days later and this beautiful piece is almost all the way healed and only getting brighter ! Thank you Soo much Kristen and ink ink! I will be back for many more tattoos! ( I wish I knew how to add a picture here so everyone could see)

Let me start by saying that I never watched the show, I simply found ink ink by doing a search in the Springfield area as I would be visiting family there. Thats how I came across Kelsey and her incredibly detailed flower work. Being my first piece it was rather large, and as I was coming from out of state I wanted to get it all done in one sitting. Kelsey was really patient with me allowing me breaks whenever I needed them and was very informative with the whole process. My goal for my tattoo was to distract and cover up my stretch marks from pregnancy. And Kelsey did just that, she suggested that my tattoo needed to be taller to elongate my torso, and picked all the colors to give it the realistic look. I LOVE MY TATTOO! Its full of color, realistic detail and gives me more confidence . It was worth every bit of the seven hours it took. Thank you Ink Ink!

My wife and daughter both went here for nose piercings. They charged $100 each, put the piercings lower than they wanted and claimed they couldn’t use a hoop for the initial piercing. Go to Kaleidoscope, save some money and be happy.

I’ve spent about two weeks looking for a tattoo artist that’ll listen, and Claire did just that! The previous artist at another location tried convincing me into something 3x bigger and my entire arm and then proceeded to make fun of what I wanted. My boyfriend’s sister sent me a profile of another Ink Ink artist, but she said she couldn’t do a cover up (which I respect she didn’t take on something she wasn’t confident in), and had me fill out a form on the website. Claire got back to me immediately the next morning, and she already had a cover up idea and an appointment was set.I had a moon & 13 covered up from a Branson shop that blew out part of the lines with uneven shading, and I work with my hands, and it was embarrassing. Now I’m confident enough to show off my new tattoo. Immediately the day of getting it, we went out to several other places and I received compliments at every store. Thank you, Claire, for this boost of confidence. I’ll definitely be back for a few more tattoos.

In the past month, I have had two piercings by Hayley, and a tattoo by Megan. I had very good experiences with each visit.I had a double nostril piercing on my first visit. Hayley explained to me step by step how the procedure would go. Everything was done using hospital grade sterile technique. I work in a hospital and I was very impressed at how the whole procedure went. I didnt feel any pain, just some pressure and it made my eye water a bit. She gave me excellent instructions on how to take care of the new piercings.My second visit, I had a horizontal eyebrow piercing done. Again, she (Hayley) explained everything thoroughly and worked methodically without rushing through the piercing process.On that same visit, Megan drew up an antique skeleton key for my right forearm. She did wonderful detail with shadowing to make it stand out a bit. I have gotten several compliments on the artistry. This was my first tattoo and she worked very well and didnt rush in order to make it look just perfect! Sterile tecnique was also highly utilized throughout the whole procedure. Megan took the time to explain to me how to take care of the tattoo and talked about the healing process. I left having all my questions explained and with some seriously awesome piercings and ink!!My piercings and tattoo have all healed really well with no pain or complications.I will definitely go back to ink ink to add to the art. They are a GREAT, TALENTED, FRIENDLY group and were a joy to be around. I thank them for their artistic abilities and their time!!

I have a single tattoo from here, the letters do not match, one is bigger than the other. It is fading. It is not consistent in thickness. The girls are very kind however I do not recommend their work. They work fast, and sloppily. And charge the same. Go somewhere, literally anywhere else. Also my best friend received 2 piercings here and both became infected to the point of extraction.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityVERY poor quality done by Devyn at the Branson location but she also works in Springfield. I was supposed to get a solid black band that faded as it went up my ankle. It was supposed to coverup a thinner band tat that I had gotten done years ago. After a couple of weeks you could see all sorts of streaks in the tattoo and you could see the old tattoo under it. I sent in pictures along with an email and eventually went back to have it touched up. After trying to touch it up Devyn asked me to look it over and see what I thought. As I looked I could still see many streaks and this seemed to frustrate her. She did a little more touching up and then told me that she was done and that if any other touch up needed to be done it would not be free.Where I come from if someone pays you to do a job and you mess it up you redo it.. if its still not right you redo it again at your own expense and you continue this process until it is finally completed correctly with no extra expense to your customer.It has been 2 weeks since her touch up and the tat looks horrible.. you can still see streaks throughout the entire tattoo and you can still see the old tattoo underneath..I will NOT be recommending this place to anyone at all... In fact I will discourage anyone I can from going there if I hear they are looking for a tattoo.

I went in for my birthday around June 23rd, dont remember the exact day. And I got a dermal between my breasts. The lady that did it said she usually works in Branson and she was so lovely and nice! Darker hair and very pretty. Well here I am nearly 2 months later and the bottom part of my dermal is showing out of my skin and I could tell after a few days of having it that it wasnt placed in correctly but I thought maybe it was just because its swollen. Well, now its poking out of my skin and Im so upset that I spent 60 dollars for it to not be done correctly..

Absolutely terrible customer service!!! Also atrocious line and color work!!! So sad that in over 20 different tattoo parlors here in Springfield, Missouri your establishment was chosen to be on television. Just because you are an all female shop does not make you awesome... It makes you sexist. It is extremely disheartening that you got rid of your male tattoo artists (which had more experience than most of the girls that you have employed now) so that you could become an all female shop. The work that you do that claims to look amazing looks terrible. The lines are not crisp and clean as they should be. This establishment saddens me deeply. also the fact that you turn off the reviews of facebook and also delete any negative feedback is extremely immature.

I was kind of nervous to get my dath piercings. Maddie is knowledgeable about her job. She helped me pick out the right jewelry for my needs. She explained the process to me while she was piercing me and explained the after care to me too. I was nervous for no reason. The piercing process went really well. I had little to no pain during and afterwards she did a fantastic job. I would definitely recommend them for all your piercings.

Years ago I went into a local tattoo shop for a simple wrist tattoo for my sons first deployment, this guy who must have been an apprentice did it for me. I have to say, he did not do a good job, so I went back after it healed and there was this little blonde girl (Kelsey) who fixed it for me. I found out later that she had opened her own place and was so excited for her and myself!! My husband and I have been in a lot of tattoo shops in our area, and upon entering them, we have been ignored, given the impression the employees time was to valuable to deal with us, and it has all been very unpleasant..... Until Ink Ink opened, we went in and were greeted with enthusiasm that was not fake and has continued everytime we have been in there! The atmosphere in this shop is fantastic, everyone is treated wonderfully and the group of girls are just wonderful. I would highly recommend Ink Ink to anyone looking for a fun day and a great tattoo!!

Dont listen to the haters with their boo-hooing about their experiences with Ink Ink. I had a beautiful wrist tattoo done there quite a while ago that is still gorgeous and gets constant compliments. Go see these ladies when you want quality work at a fair price in a great environment. Wonderful experience!

My first time here I got a wrist tattoo by Kristen that I love so much! I went back with friends today to watch them get their tattoos (which are both great and they both love) and they were done by Kristen as well. She ended up piercing my nose. Fantastic artist and piercer and such a joy to be around!

Ive went to this shop a couple years ago to get a piercing. They were extremely rude and snotty. Mean girls if you will. AntiFeminist! Needless to say I did not get pierced there. Nikki tattooed my bff. It was awful! As if it was her first time tattooing. It is full of mistakes. Proportion is completely off and it only looks decent from afar. My friend will have to pay to have it fixed by another shop. Had I known she was going to ink ink I would have highly suggested that she go elsewhere! Dont support these mean girls that are legit awful tattoo artist!

Rooted for you guys from the beginning, because an all girl tattoo shop in the Midwest is a fantastic idea. Hell, you guys even hired a good friend of mine, so I truly was rooting for the best out of this shop... Then you publicly bashed the great city, and people of Springfield.Heres a little tip, dont bash the town your business is based in. Its not a good look. As an owner, it makes you look like an arrogant prick. But what do I know, right? Im just some closed minded, religious, nerd with a college education.You guys said yourselves that you see yourselves as the anomaly, the outcasts of the city. You definitely werent before, but you definitely are now. Careful what you wish for.

I got a piercing there, well two. Lets say one is terribly crooked. I was told it was going to be $80 when I went in, went to check out and they said they had told me wrong that it was $110. Then charged me $3 more dollars for using my card, and then I couldnt check out until I left a tip. Will not be going back. They got almost 50 extra bucks out of me and they should have honored what they told me it would be.EDIT: in response to the owner, I picked the jewelry, and was told it was $80. Then After it was all done I was then told it was going to be $110. They should have honored the price I was told when I went in. If I was told the $110 price, I would have went somewhere else. Instead I was told after being pierced. Especially since its chipping now

The sneak peek for their TLC show was an absolute disgrace and an insult to the city they represent. There are so many artists in the city that deserve recognition and they are out shined by a group of women tattoo artists who uses that as their excuse for everything.Your shop is not disliked because you are women, your shop is disliked because you all have minimal talent and a lot of dissatisfied customers. You deserve the ratings you have because of the lies you put into social media. Between this and the incident with the woman wanting a tattoo of her stillborn child, Id be surprised if you stayed in business.I do not appreciate how the people of springfield were wrongly portrayed to all of America. Your lies have caught up with you, please take responsibility for your actions.

Stopped in on May 3rd while visiting my parents in MO and received an absolutely fantastic traditional style tattoo from Sam. The shop was clean and the staff was polite and friendly. I will definitely be stopping by to get a tattoo every time I travel to MO. Great shop, great staff, great experience.

Strangely enough, I decided not to go to this shop before the disgusting portrayal of Springfield patrons the owner described on the TLC promo for the show. The pieces that Ive seen come out of the shop are anywhere between nothing special and plain bad. There are so many better places to go (and you wont get stuck behind a tractor on the way)

I have gotten 4 small tattoos from Ink Ink, around the same time. Unfortunately, all but one need touched up or covered. I have a quote on my forearm that is completely blown out, and it wasnt even cheap. I have a cat silhouette on my ankle that is messy and needs gone over and cleaned up, and a moon that has blown out lines. At the time I thought it was cool because the artists there were really friendly. However, I remember waiting two hours past my appointment time, because the artists kept messing around and gossiping and not getting much work done in general. My fiance got ink there too and his piece turned out really shakey and definitely needs touched up. He has tattoos from a couple other places that are completely clean and professionally done. This shop does not do professional work, and they obviously do not care about their customers because of the way they treat them on social media (and real life, apparently.) Their reviews on Facebook are disabled because they were getting so many low ones and instead of FIXING THE PROBLEM, they just pretend it doesnt exist. They cant accept the fact that they can and should improve their abilities, which as an artist myself, is particularly annoying.

I went there to get a memorial tattoo of my Mothers name in my inner wrist. During the process she stopped several times to chat and to look at a coworkers tattoo being done. The tattoo looked amazing at first then faded very bad. I went to a different shop and was told he refuses to tattoo that area because tattoos fade badly in that location. What upset me is they didnt tell me that but told the woman ahead of me that her finger tattoo would fade fast as well. I went in a spoke to the receptionist about a touch up but was quoted a price more than I originally paid. I will not go back there and wished I had listened to others before going there

I had heard of this shop from a family member and drove from a small town in Oklahoma to get a matching tattoo with my husband. Was completely unhappy with the final product. kelsey did my husbands tattoo, it is absolutely horrible. She rushed through the entire tattoo and the lettering and shading are both off. My husband had to make her stop because it seemed like she didnt know what she was doing. Very surprised they have there own tv show. Will most definitely not be going back.

I dont get the review hate. These guys have tattooed both of my wifes arms with no issue. Theyve probably done 6 or 7 different pieces on her and two on me, and I couldnt be happier. Ink Inc. is my only spot to get tattoos, and for my wife, tattoos and piercings.

Really? I have personally be in the studio during a friends tattoo. It was horrid. Royal ink did the cover up. I know they have done the cover up for many many more. You girls bit the hand that feeds you. Trash the Springfield area all you want but realize they are your clientele. You guys have sunk your poor business faster than you tried to build it. Plus the fact your 5 star reviews are mostly by your actual staff is unprofessional.

Amazing Work! These girls are SMART, BEAUTIFUL and KNOW how to sling Ink! I totally trust these girls way more than i would some smelly guy with hair and TATTOOS ON HIS FACE... These girls are very experienced and Kelsey is such an amazing hard working artist! Ill definitely be back soon!!

Okay, first time, I called to make an appointment, made one and they waited two days before to ask me what I wanted but only because I called to see if it was even going to happen due to the lack of communication from them, just only to find out that the artist I was assigned to couldnt do what I was wanting and was told to go to a different artist a couple months away. I wanted get a tattoo with my wife and they ruined that experience. So my wife got hers because of not wanting to lose the deposit, but I didnt even get a tattoo since I wanted it to be with her. So I lost my deposit and more importantly a special memory with my wife.The second time, I was communicating with them on Facebook Messenger to get a full back tattoo and was told that they would have an artist contact me...it didnt happen.Response to owner...I get that people have different skill sets, but I waited a month to get a tattoo and they wait 2 days before the appointment time to ask me what I wanted after I inquired about if this was even going to happen, just to only find out that the artist I was assigned to couldnt do that kind of work and to be assigned to another 2 months down the road. Its honestly not a good excuse, which is exactly what it is, an excuse. What you just told me is that your system is flawed and that you need to make it better.

My wife, sister-in-law, bro-in-law and I drove from Wichita to get some ink in this awesome shop. We were fans of Tattoo Girls and loved the work we saw on the show, and on their website........but when we saw the Google reviews we were a little taken back and a bit nervous. After living in Springfield for 6+ years, I know it is one of the most judgemental places in this country. If you dont fit into the little box people think you should then youre nothing. Shame on the city of Springfield, KSPR, and the trashy Springfield News Leader for trashing these young ladies......and for what? Not fitting into your narrow minded box. Im sure half of these ignorant reviews are from people who are not even customers of the shop. We were very satisfied and between the 4 of us we were in the shop for 5 hours with 3 different artists.......keep doing what you do girls, and let the haters keep hating. We will definitely be back!

I am only giving one star cause u have to in order to leave a review. I havent even been in your shop, and I wouldnt regardless of your talent. Why put up shop in a town, that you clearly dont even know or support? It sucks that you mislead everyone on national tv about this city, and you apparently. They can trace, moderately well. Ladies are very nice but do not go here unless you want a generic symbol. Was told they needed an exact picture of what I wanted, they arent tattoo artists theyre tracers. All female is all they have going for them, the artists do not go through an apprenticeship.

I am going to share this because I want all of you to look closely when thinking about getting a Tattoo and where to get it to avoid the nightmare I lived through. This is my review regarding the Tattoo shop Ink Ink owned by Kelsey Rogers. Keep in mind that this tattoo was made by her (the very owner), and that she is the one who teaches to all of her apprentices, on top of the fact that she has those apprentices ready to tattoo customers in 3 months (gasp!!). Let that sink in now, and here is my story:I really tried to love the tattoo I got from this shop, but it was just terrible. I got a watercolor Chihuahua (supposedly) and since this was my second tattoo I guess I didnt know any better, but I should have known something was wrong with this shop the first moment I stepped in.First of all, I had made an appointment in advance and when I walked in, Kelsey was tattooing Meghan (another tattooer at the store) on the leg, which was very rude to me and my time, but since I try to avoid conflict I decided to not say anything. About 40 mins later she was done, but while I was waiting, another girl came to me to see what my tattoo idea was. I tried to explain and give reference photos, but she basically rushed me through it and took the image I gave her for reference, printed it off and made the stencil. At the time I thought she was Kelsey, but I realized she wasnt when the one who did my tattoo was a different girl than who did my stencil. And when that happened I should have stopped the whole thing, but I wanted to have faith in them since they seemed so nice.When Kelsey started my tattoo, I honestly didnt think it would hurt as much as it did. She was so rough with my skin and rushed so much the tattoo that she was finished in 20-30 minutes. NO tattoo unless is very small and simple should be done so fast. By that point, I was crying, but I thought it was just I had chosen a very sensitive spot, and left the store happily.As the tattoo healed I started seeing the mistakes. First of all, my idea of the tattoo was not a literal copy of the photo I showed her. I wanted something custom, but they did not even hear what I needed and I was such a dumbass for not speaking up. Second of all, the tattoo looked like a fox or a Cat, not a Chihuahua, and that was very infuriating to me, because this tattoo was meant to be special for me. This was an extremely expensive tattoo, especially because I actually had to get it freaking fixed by another store that even recognized the mess as soon as I walked in. Heck, my new artist and I were even joking around about it while getting it fixed.The whole thing (which was supposed to be $150) ended up being almost $340 because of all the fixing my new artist (Ethen Jackson, Hearts of Fire) had to do. I would have been fine with the exact copy of a Pinterest image if it wasnt because the colors didnt even match and where so dull and ungraceful. On a bonus note, Kelsey had been so rough on my skin, she actually created a pretty significant burn-looking scar that I did not have on my skin before, which was the last straw for me. I had literally wasted my money on this.I should have stopped and I regret going there still. My tattoo looks better now, and I love it, but not because of them. I do not want anyone else that actually wants a custom work (and a well-done tattoo) to ever experience what I did with these girls. They are all really nice people, dont get me wrong... but they are not good tattooers, let alone artists

This place is pure junk and a joke. Do yourself a favor...spend 5 minutes looking at their photos on Facebook then proceed to find another shop. I like to look at their tattoos when I need a good laugh. They shouldnt be allowed to call themselves tattoo artists. Artists dont trace/copy images from Google and regurgitate the same drawings on multiple people. There is a ton of great talent in Springfield and it doesnt reside at ink ink.

Kelsey and all the ladies at Ink Ink are amazing! I will not go anywhere else to be tattooed ever again. Kelsey always does amazing work and has great artistic skills. Ink Ink is a great, fun atmosphere and is just an overall awesome place.

Very disappointed with the professionalism at ink ink tattoo. After I left an honest and even encouraging comment for these ladies on their Facebook page, they deleted it and blocked me from commenting on their page because they didnt like it. So Ill leave the same comment here.The artwork done at ink ink is mediocre, their line work and shading inconsistent. As a potential client, it was disheartening to see them publicly bash the city and other potential clientele around Springfield. Having said that, I will take my business elsewhere. I do wish them luck with their business and I hope someday they can master their trade.Im giving them a 2/5, simply for the pieces that Ive seen in person. Trailer aside.

This shop is an absolute joke. After all the negative commentary on their Facebook page they deactivated the reviews. If you make so much as any kind of comment criticizing their work, they will delete your comment! The fact is that this shop has a poor standing in our community and thrives on the element that they are an all female shop but have absolutely no talent to back it up. The art that comes out of this shop consists of poor line work and sad shading and often has to be covered up by the outstanding artists of the Springfield, MO community. Please dont be fooled by their show on TLC and their gimmick of an all female shop. Any respectacle tattoo artist would never seek employment here and they cant delete comments and honest reviews outside their sheltered facebook page.

The new TLC intro to this shop shows just how bigoted and disgusting these ladies are. Poor artistry and poor customer service. They lied and insulted their own customers and the community that has supported them in spite of their bad reputation as a tattoo parlor. So bad that nearly all tattoo shops in Springfield will correct their work for free. Poor taste. Just shameful as business women to conduct themselves like this.

These girls are amazing and its the only place that I will go to have my tattoos done! I always recommend them to everyone I know that wants beautiful body art. Shop is always clean and the girls are very fun!

Ink Ink is the best place to go for piercings and tattoos. Some piercings you just do not feel comfortable as a woman letting a man do. Ink Ink having 2 female piercers makes the process much more comfortable. The tattoo artists are all amazing and make everyone feel at home. Love this place and everything about it!

Appalled by the example that ink ink has set for the city of Springfield. Every city has bad tattoo artists that is why it is important for people interested in tattoos to do a lot of research and not go to a place just because they look cool or might have a niche like being an all women shop. The work that I have seen come out of this shop is mostly average to terrible. To know that this is the kind of shop representing my city sickens me. This shop has slandered Springfield which is a great city with many talented artists. Ink Ink is mockery to that and one day I hope you see that the blatant disrespect you have shown for this city wont be taken lightly.

On my birthday Jan 24, a couple years ago I went to Springfield to get a bday tat. Drove a couple places first then heard an ad on the radio for them and thought how cool would it be to be tatted by a girl! So I drove over there and they took me in, even though they were techniquly closed. It ended up being a great experience. It turned out so beautiful and still looks brand new to this day. My others never look brand new after about a year. The girls were great and even got a picture with them. And it happened to be the day their show premiered on tlc. Next tat I get will💯% be from them. Next piercing for that matter too. Which will be soon. Wanting a couple of dermals. Love you girls. Miss the show. It was great! I’d give 100 stars if they would let me.

Never been here for a tattoo. I actually like going to get my tattoos from REAL business owners who are extremely professional and have good reputations from their art to their professionalism. Going on tlc is going to kill your business and your relationships. So all I can say is good luck but you have lost SEVERAL potential clients and your business will suffer.

I moved out here from Long Beach and was looking for a good tattoo shop to continue my sleeves and I came across INK INK and I gave it a go. Went in met with Kelsey and she did exactly what I was looking for. I have been back several times since and will continue to go back. I have gotten both Tattoos and piercings and they are very professional in both areas. THANK YOU LADIES!! KEEP ROCKING IT !!

I went here to get an ear piercing (top of my ear) on Saturday (3-31-18) and I love it! Stacy (I don’t think that’s how you spell it) was so sweet to me and my little sister. I would definitely go there again!

I took my boyfriend here for an early birthday present in the form of a cover-up tattoo and to add to my slowly developing sleeve. We walked in and were greeted by a friendly receptionist who inquired about what we were looking for and matched us up with an artist based off of our designs. For my lotus tattoo I was paired with Claire, who did an outstanding job incorporating it with my existing om and flower of life tattoos, the work is vibrant and beautiful! My boyfriends artist was Kristen, who was ecstatic to do his colorful Koi coverup. Since his tattoo understandably took longer than mine we were able to sit together afterwards and talk while she finished his tattoo (staying two hours after close to do so). It felt like she was our friend more so than someone unpassionately performing a task, and weve already decided she is our go-to girl from now on for our tattoo and piercing needs. Im glad we didnt look at the reviews before coming, as they would have deterred us from encountering some seriously awesome women who make gorgeous art. Dont base your opinion off of reviews coming from individuals who havent even been to Ink Ink, but are merely upset by one incidence involving a single artist.

I was tattooed by Kelsey on my 18th birthday and it was so sloppy I had to have a cover up done when i was 21! Thankfully I have found a tattoo artist at a different shop that is icredible and was able to cover up a sloppy tattoo! I wouldnt have gone back to your shop because of the sloppy work but I for sure will not go back after you bashed the town. As for being an all womens shop thats great and all but only when your work is great too. I dont care about gender as much as I do about having an artist who will tattoo incredibly. Tattoos are permanent and should be something you are proud of not something you want redone because of an artists sloppy work! Springfield is an awesome town and a town who proudly supports local business, however when you talk bad about the people who give you their business so that you can have food on your table you are playing with fire. You and your shop are an embarrassment to this town!!! YOU SHOULDNT BITE THE HAND THAT FEEDS YOU!!!

I got my first tattoo here 2 months ago and everyone was just amazing. I felt right at home. Theyre so welcoming and kind, sweet, funny etc. I cant wait to go here again for my next tattoo!!

We took my 3 year old to get her ears pierced and they did an amazing job with her! They made it fun and reassured her the whole time. They did both ears at once which really helped. We loved using Ink Ink and will definitely go back there if we need anything else of this sort.

Absoutley amazing studio! Piercing or tattoo- its putting all trust into one person, and if I had to choose it would most definitely be one of the girls at ink ink. I started getting tattoos (2) and piercings (13) as soon as I was at legal age- Ive had well over a handful of experiences at tattoo and piercing studios- the vibe, trust, friendship, comfort, cleanliness and experience at ink ink have been hands down the best yet!

Okay. Now Im 100% behind woman empowerment, especially in the world place, but this place is a JOKE. The absolute WORST tattoos I have ever seen come out of a shop, are coming from here. You may as well be asking your Uncle Chad to do it for you in your kitchen instead (kidding, I dont support that either.) But seriously, this is a tattoo that is going on your BODY FOREVER. Do your research. I know that if you do, you would never pick this place. There are so many other amazing quality shops in the area. Dont base your artist off of them flaunting their gender to get ahead. Compare quality of work, or prepare to plan for a cover up in the future.

Some of the worst customer service I have dealt with in my life, especially in the Springfield area. An area that is well known for having friendly citizens and superior customer service. I do not recommend ink ink to anyone looking for a tattoo or piercing.

I have never been here.I really want to taker road trip though! I saw your show on TLC, I read about the petition and all the drama.I feel like you ladies were given the short end of the stick, the things you said were probably cut and pasted and didnt include the entire opinion. I thought Springfield looked like a cute little town with really nice people in it.your work is amazing and i cant wait to stop in eventually. I think people get offended way too easily these days. The town of Springfield needs to remember that all too often, TV producers and editors cut out a lot of what people say to create drama.it even happens in news interviews and reports. What they should have done was contacted TLC and talked to them about it, and showed what the town is really like. I know that I come from a small town in NH. Northwoods law NH edition kind of makes NH look like a bunch of hicks. Do you see us complaining? Kelsey Rogers did my ink, a piece that was very special to me. Im so glad I left it in her hands it looks better than I imagined it would. Not only was art amazing but the women that work there are friendly, inviting and beautiful! I recommend Ink Ink to ANYONE that wants a piece.

I’m not sure why the reviews on this place is so low because they are absolutely amazing. All of the ladies here do a wonderful job tattooing and piercing. Check out their Instagram account for examples of their work. I had my first tattoo done here by Mariah and she did excellent and I get so many compliments on it.

As a Springfield citizen and college student, your descriptions of the area and its inhabitants were more than offensive. You spoke so ignorantly and hatefully that I expect your business to close shortly. Dont use these girls for any kind of body work. And I say girls because true adult women wouldnt act so childishly on behalf of fellow businesses and our town. A true diagrace. A random person on the street would be more deserving to tattoo you.

Bashing your possible future clients is not a good way to start your show. Was going to consider you for my 4th but you ruined it for me. Your tattoos arent very good anyway. And denying a client a very personal tattoo is very unprofessional and rude. Have a good day with your backlash

Rude people, bad tattoos, and definitely not deserving of a reality TV show. The fact that they completely bashed their clientele base for a TV show represents the fact that they obviously do not care about their customers or their reputation what so ever. If I could give them zero stars, I would. My recommendation: go to any other tattoo parlor in Springfield.

This is my tattoo shop of choice and have traveled great distance to have my work done here. It is not just Kelsey, other artists are amazing at their profession and in life. Could not be a happier client and will continue to travel here for my work.

Great portfolios. Ive been interested in getting another tat for awhile but they were a little pricey for my taste. I compared the cost of the same tat to other places that are equally as good and the cost was half as much. Still a great shop.

Horrible. I would give 0 stars, if that was a choice. Not just because of the shoddy work, but also because they choose to bash Springfield. If you dont like it here, LEAVE! We sure wont miss you. Five stars because not one negative review could produce a photo of a bad tattoo. All the bad reviews are because Ink Ink was a little critical of Springfield in their promo video. Lesson learned, people care about this town we live in and we are trying to #makespringfieldweird but we wont accomplish that if we punish awesome shops like this for exercising their right to speak their mind. Just watch the show on TLC and youll see for yourself what they can do.

Worst tattoo experience Ive ever had. First, Megan told my friend that she couldnt have partial color done; that it had to either be black and grey, or color. Then, Megan charged my friend $40 for a two hour session. My friend said she wanted roses, so an hour into the session, Megan came back with 4 images of roses printed off of the internet. When we asked why she was being charged to have Google images printed, she said good luck getting someone to not charge you for drawing the tattoo. We left without getting inked.

Their artist Megan is a disgusting human being who very distastefully told the mother of a stillborn baby that not only would she not do the portrait of her child, that is was WRONG to tattoo things on you that are dead and that the woman had ruined her dinner. You have the right to refuse to do any tattoo, but to respond the way this woman did is FOUL. Yet if it was a tattoo of a devil, dragon, fairy or any other creature, I bet shed have done it with no problem. Thankfully though, Megan did this woman a favor because Ive been informed miss high and mightys line work sucks! You can delete our reviews off of facebook to try to save face, but you cant hide anything on google. Quit being deceitful and handle your employees and how they treat potential customers.

As a small town, nerdy, religious, backwards girl from Springfield who somehow escaped teen pregnancy (since apparently all of us are teen moms), I have to express my disappointment in this business once I watched the trailer for their show. I was so excited to hear a local shop was getting fame and I couldnt wait to support them....that was until I watched this shop spread lies about this town to create a better story for their show. Springfield is not a small town, in fact, it is the 3rd largest city in the state with many nationally saught after universities. Contrary to Ink Inks statement, we actually take pride in the fact that we have a lot of educated individuals and we do not degrade their accomplishments by calling them nerdy. As a matter of fact, because we are religious, we believe in treating others with respect and kindness. I believe in being able to poke fun and have a good time, but putting people down on national television because they dont share the same views as you is extremely immature and poor business.

I traveled from another state after seeing Mariah’s work on Facebook! The ladies are honestly friendly and down to earth. Prices are super fair!! I highly recommend these ladies! I had one done at the Branson location and the other at the Springfield location. They rock!

Had a tribute peach rose for my mom that passed away in January. I absolutely love it. Im proud to tell everyone where that Ink Ink in Branson is THE place to go. Thank you so much! I did get a parking ticket for being there a little longer than planned. But it was worth it.

I went there to get an estimate on a tattoo they were not very customer friendly or helpful. I got the feeling that I was interrupting them, even though they were not busy and that they couldnt wait to get me out the door. I was not impressed at all. I would never recommend anybody to go to that tattoo shop.

I needed my ears repierced, so I popped in as a walk-in and Claire had me in & out in under 10 minutes. (True needle piercing, not a gun.) I didnt feel a thing. Great job!

You time starts before any ink is on your skin, at $150 an hour. It only cost me $40 for education, non-refundable deposit. Will never go back. She didnt want to listen to me how I wanted my tattoo.

This was my first time getting a tattoo and it was for a meaningful reason. Nicki did my tattoo and I thought she was great. The artists were all friendly and very personable I would recommend them to everyone.

They had an online posting for $500 for eight hours of tattoo work. . Instead when we got there, no one knew anything about that online pricing! !!!!! Go figure.. and instead they wanted Two Grand for a single sleeve.. Talk about a price difference, or should I say false advertising? ?

I went to get a small tattoo here. The girls were very rude and I waited to talk to someone for almost 45 minutes. They quoted me $200. I went to another shop and got the same thing for $60. These girls are stuck up and full of themselves. They do terrible work. NEVER go to ink ink.

I love the shop! Everyone is so friendly and accommodating! The atmosphere is so fun, not something you would see at other tattoo shops. Plus all girls!? How fun and different!

Absolutely love all the work Ive had done here by Kelsey n the other women are great artist also.Wouldnt go anywhere else.Friendly, very professional, very clean n beautiful environment.

Just watched the show on-demand and really liked it. Im kind of surprised by all the negative reviews by people that never even went into the shop. So ill give a good review based on what I saw on the show.Only criticism is the fat dark haired woman (nikki?) that seems to be a total pain in the butt. She seems to expect the world to revolve around her. I couldnt imagine having to deal with a totally self obsorbed person like her. Everyone seems to have to walk on eggshells around her. Total diva.

I went in and they were so rude and stuck up I left. Completely over priced for child like artistry. I went to Ink Slingers and was impressed with their staff and cleanliness. Ink Ink is very nasty which is probably why they are on TLC..they belong in a slot after Honey Boo Boo!!!

Exploiting women for business purposes. Scratcher shop to the extreme. Apprenticeships are rushed.Go back and study. Learn how to pull a line better than a first year tattooer.This is a mockery of the history, lineage, and ideals behind where we came from. This is more than a flavor of the month Pinterest quick money. More than a gimmick that will make money and fizzle out.A rude awakening is in order. And I strongly urge everyone to do their research and find people that truly care and love what they do. Not just money poured into advertisement.

Watched the promo video for this airing on tlc. Not inpressed. Coming from springfield, being born and raised there. I feel Ive been thrown under the bus as a nerd who is overly religious and closed minded.I dont care how tlc spins it. Its what was said. Different choices of words would have been better. Sorry for the review of the shop and I will full support the piercer as her work is truly are that shines.If anyone watched the promo amd now has a diminished look at springfield ignore it. We are not farm boys, and overly religious closed minded people. Downtown, not commercial street where this business is located, is actually thriving with live and culture. We have a huge mix of diverse people. Were the start and birth place of Route 66. Come visit to see what springfield is truly like. You wont be dissappointed.

I had a tattoo done here about 4 years ago. I thought it was great until I got it redone and saw how horrible of a job they did. I have before and after pictures. They were also very rude. And when I tried to post this on their Facebook they deleted it and wouldnt answer my messages.

Ive never been here, but, aside from one friend, Ive heard only negative opinions. Im extremely disappointed in the comments they made on the TLC trailer. I understand things can be taken out of context, but they were still said. I work with Springfield business owners on a regular basis and they would never describe Springfield in such a manner.

They did my second tattoo and I will never go anywhere else. I love this place! They are kind and genuine people and do amazing work. I recommend this place to anyone who is wanting a tattoo. Ink ink is the best place in town.

We took our 4 year old Macie in to get her ears pierced for her birthday. Everyone was great and super professional, we will definitely be back! Thank you ladies so much!

I set up a tattoo appointment and had an emergency to where I had to cancel/reschedule, and they told me i could not reschedule because it was too close to time and they wouldn’t refund me for my deposit I made. I am extremely upset. Do not recommend.

I found the shop very welcoming. Everyone was very patient. Very impressed with their work. But, what I was most impressed with is everyone that walked through the door was treated like a friend and family. Its hard to beat real down to earth people.
